Mixed Bag of Experiences on StackOverflow
As someone deeply involved in the tech community, I understand the importance of platforms like StackOverflow for developers. Looking at the reviews, it's clear that StackOverflow has its strengths and weaknesses. While some users praise it for being a valuable resource for coding problems, others express frustration with the community's toxicity and lack of support for beginners. It seems like StackOverflow can be a double-edged sword - a place where you can find quick answers but also face harsh criticism and unhelpful responses. If you're a seasoned developer, you might benefit from the vast knowledge shared on the platform. However, if you're new to coding, you might encounter challenges due to the unfriendly atmosphere reported by some users. It's essential to approach StackOverflow with caution and be prepared for a mix of experiences.

StackOverflow / Stack Exchange Complaints 5
Bad
My advice:
Don't share your knowledge for free on Stackexchange, you will never be rewarded for it. Better create a blog. A blog can bring you job, customers, fans, money.
The information quality of this website is over-estimated. Normally, we should get answers from very wise users. However, they are users on this website who don't deserve their points and don't really answer the question. They just debate about the question without dropping a line of code.
From a technical point of view, many questions should be simple to solve. The person who answers should have the necessary lines of codes, lines of command or directives. However, Most of the time, some argue and you can do NOTHING with what their answer. They just fill up the blank. So, you read the 2 or 3 first answers to discover they aren't helpful for your problem. So it means that you wasted several minutes reading.
How it is possible since these answers get voted?
I am suspicious about the +1 those low-quality answers get. I wonder if some people didn't create bots just to get a better ranking.
You may read 5 answers thinking they are helpful and after thinking about it, you discover none of them are useful for your problem. Stackexchange is an ersatz of a support website.
Just like for Quora, people pretend to be knowledgeable about subjects, but they don't.
There is only a small percentage of knowledgeable people on Stackexchange, and those people are never rewarded just like they should.
stackoverflow is just a bunch of nazi's
StackUberFascist (StackOverflow) is just a bunch of NAZI fascists high school bullies!
Hey, guess what, you can't delete this post beotches! Send these NAZI's a clear message and cancel the service!
#ThePlantationBeClosedBeotches!
If you're like the majority of coders who have jobs and take coding seriously you just want an open forum. That ISN'T StackOverflow.
You'll find it's a fascist communist dictatorship where you ACTUALLY have to earn 50 points before you can post answers to other peoples questions! GAWD DAM DUDE! REALLY?
It's run by NAZI's and god willing, you want to ask a question to "Earn Points"; the GOD DAMN "moderators" will delete your well thought out questions because they aren't formatted within the strict BS guidelines dictated by the socialist overlord's.
Rather than making it possible to earn points they'll just frustrate you. It's a BULL $#* service and I don't say that lightly. I worked very hard on my posts and then didn't use the service for a few years and lost points. Suddenly I can't answer coding questions.
God forbid that you should express a point of view or a complaint about it. I canceled my account and I recommend EVERYONE do the same!
When individuals in a social community are motivated to help other people you shouldn't stand in their way. When you combine personal freedom with a powerful and intelligent education, individuals can recognize their own responsibilities and effectively carry them out.
There are plenty of services that do that much better.in a free online community, vicious lawbreakers can be punished without severely impacting everyone else. Some people will be successful and others will not, and that can't be changed under any circumstances.
If people need help from society then that responsibility falls on the individuals through the channels the people themselves create, and moderate.
don't waste your time
don't waste your time on this website, don't share your experience, you won't be appreciated or deservedly rewarded.
Their ranking system is pointless. Many replies are stupid and have nothing to do with a problem resolution, however, they are highly appreciated and get the best scores.
Many people are rude and pretend to be the smartest ones to answer your "stupid" question, but they are still appreciated as well.

The website www.stackoverflow.com is real waste of your time. I registered there and posted some questions. I found some similar questions to mine, but when I tried to add my questions or post anything in this post, the website prohibited my questions and posts. The moderators blocked my access as well as they limited my actions. It was unfair, but it was completely fruitless to argue with them about it. They could simply block you and that’s was all.
beware
My friend advised me to visit the website www.stackoverflow.com, and he told me that I could find any answers to the questions about file writing and software. The website really contained a lot of information, but the moderators didn’t know their work properly. I posted on questions, but they locked my question, because at their opinion it wasn’t connected with their theme of the website. I refined my question, but they blocked my account. I was upset and wouldn’t recommend to visit this website.
