Stay away from this school! The staff is very unprofessional and lack training. When problems occur the school will ignore them and when you call to try and to get help the staff acts as if you are bothering them when the problems you are having is indeed the schools fault! This school is pathetic!

You know I havehad the same problem with them over and over again. I am now speaking with an attorney from an LLC who deals with this type of stress and problems. I have legal documents from GCU and the financial aid department that state when I would receive my financial aid and then never received it. I have all conversations documented and recorded for this very reason. Now I am going to sue the heck out of the fake little world. The attorney I spoke to already told me that there first mistake was to make these promises on paper/email then not to go through with what they put in paper/email form. I have been so stressed over all of this that it is making me sick. Dont pay any attention to the person Robin that intervenes for GCU because I was promised by her too that someone would reach me concerning my issues but ya know...thats GCU for you a school that never EVER goes through with what they promise their students. I am also enrolling un another school that knows how to treat their students right after this pathetic overly expensive $60.00 community biology class is done.

Wow. I am currently attending GCU and have not had any issues whatsoever. Financial Aid not a problem and have been overly compensated on the communciation. I get phone calls from my enrollment counselor, financial aid counselor and another person every month checking in to make sure everything is OK.

You know I do not believe that your a real student. All you have to do is re-read all the negative comments that are posted here and the 20/20 minutes investigation that is going to be airing in a few months. Maybe your one of the 1% that is not having a problem at the school because the numbers are out there and if you really knew how many students are being mistreated you would not want to be there.
They claim to be Christian and I can see that other christians dont want to say anything because of that. But come on...over 500 students that I have communicated with (and they have all signed petitions of negligence) are the ones that you need to talk to before defending that school. That is only 500 that have signed that petition and that total was taken three months ago now as far I know that number is 1235 students on campus and off campus that have signed. It is not a joke. We have all suffered because of those in Financial aid and the so-called-covering up departments.

Hi Al, I would like to sign this petition. This university is crooked. I have filed an appeal with GCU. I just received a letter of denial. They said that I never contacted Tech support when I had problems with the assignments, when I wrote in my appeal that I did. And too bad that the professor didn't grade my assignments until the last week of class. They claim to be investigating this.

They always claim to be investigating the, 'PROBLEM AT HAND, " but never really do. The same thing for me. I had a media strategist call me and was defending the school and acting like a real smart @ss. I do not like to say things like this but this media strategist wanted to know everything about why I was withdrawing out of school and was trying to suggest that I was the one with the problem. This media strategist was not Robyn. Robyn is nice but does not have the power to do much sorry Robyn.
I do not believe a single word that this GCU school or anyone from that school says. All their promises have been broken and I have so much documentation of promises that they have made to me considering a multitude of problems...they did not honor any of their own words.

I have also had a significant problem. I am enrolled in the online BSN program with expected finish of Oct 2011. I received emails from the university congratulating me on my GPA, completion of program, even asking for my graduation fee. After I completed my Capstone class end of Oct, I called to obtain information about final transcripts as I had already enrolled in a Master's program and needed to transfer my information. To my surprise, I was informed I was short 15 CREDITS! Nothing stated about this over the 15 months I took classes, nothing stated after I finished (suppossedly) my last class. This was appalling and devastating to my professional and personal life as I had to withdraw applications to positions requiring my BSN, had to place my MSN program on hold and have learned from other classmates GCU has pulled this stunt with 2 other co-workers. I feel strongly these are not isolated incidents. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA and was appointed to the President's list. I had excellent praise for the university prior to this incident, very student oriented and quick to resolve issues. But since this has happened, seems I've fallen off the grid...interesting. 12 of these credits were obtained from testing out of 2 semesters of my RN program back in 1988. I have proof I tested out but not the original scores. This is the problem, no one keeps scores over 20 years. Nothing was said about any potential problem when I initially transferred my original transcripts in the beginning of my program. This has been unbelievably disappointing. Beware and get all confirmations in writing...I will be pursuing this further.
