I wrote a complaint a while back on this company, it's far worse than stated. Best advice, close your account via what ever you used. This company will just keep charging you, and doesn't seen to offer any contact phone number. I am closing my checking account because of this, and they do mention company hidden in the agreement that you are charged about $74.95, but it is written: seventy four dollars and ninety five cents--that blends in real good. But the add shows shipping after you put in your contact info to the effect of 5.95 or something like that.

My deal, they billed my shipping, they billed my 74.95, I returned the item, they emailed my back saying I would get a 54 dollar refund as I missed the 14 day trail by a few hours. Then I was billed $85.90 dollars and no refund was given. Wow, that was sneaky. I wrote back telling they this whole deal was insane--I doubt that will have any impact.

As to any recourse, well, it's China! Another detail you wouldn't know until after you receive the item and look at the package, by this time your trial period is almost over.

If anyone knows how to combat this type of thing let me know if would be so kind. Meanwhile I feel like an idiot--always research first. If you don't you will end up like me. And using PayPal is a good idea, if they don't take PayPal, research more.

I fixed it like this... While your sending product back (delivery confirmation), and sending an email to cancel--meaning this is the end, you would be working on a charge back.

Simply put, when they fail to refund your money after receiving the product (back to China), have your bank get the money back (charge back via fraud reporting, or better still, unauthorized charge when that happens).

Once your have your money back, close your account, move your bills as needed, and open new account if needed.

30 days later they can't bill you, and you have your money.

They will likely fail to refund, fail to acknowledge receipt of product, and try and bill you again. Knowing that, follow the above instructions. After a short reasonable time frame (cancellation email, sending product back), one week, then start up the the charge back and close things.

LOL, yes... I got the refund email too, and yes/ no to that. It will take too long, and only when you have won will there be a refund. This is a hook, if you wait too long you will get billed again instead. If you do a charge back there is a possibility the refund will happen--I got it...?wonder if that was magic? Anyway, you got it. Once you corner them, and they can't win your nightmare will at least stop. Good luck all.

Avery,

Hi,
I am in a situation similar to yours.
I have not even received the product and have been charged 106 AUD over and above the intial 8 AUD !
I have put in a dispute with my bank, who will investigate this matter.
I hope to get the money back - I should have looked at the website carefully because it does not give an address or phone no. nor an ABN number.

Hello,
Hate to admit it but I fell in to the same trap, I got my little bottle of pills whatever they are, tried to cancel but recieved no aknowlegement of my emails and then out came $111.oo, ok so made sure there was no money in my debit card account for awhile, then as soon as some money went in a month or so later, the day after out came another $111.00.(AUS). Never saw anymore pills.

The bank said they will be able to dispute it and i would proabably get the last withdrawal back but could take a few months.

I guess if i googled it i would have found comments like this and not done it. Beware if you are considering it. Only solution change my card on my debit account.

Seems a loigical solution. god believe it or not I received a reply offering a refund... after I said i started a dispute with the bank, fraud squad etc. I don't really expect a refund I just think they may be just a little worried.

Ironic part is the account is closed haha.

Anyway good luck everyobdy, please research we have all been bitten!

I am going through the same thing. Luckily I don't have enough $$ on my credit card as they are currently trying to charge me $80. I am just going to report that card lost and request a new #. I have been emailing & calling since way before the so called trial period ended- by the way, how a 14-day trial start before you've even received the product is beyond me- but have not received any response back save for the emails telling me my credit card was declined. For the first time I am happy that my card was declined because there's no way these people will get my $$ for this crap product (yes I took the pills and they did absolutely nothing for me). All this because I wanted some extra reward points on Mafia Wars. :(

I cant believe so many people like me have been SCAMED by these ###. i did not read the t and c's in detail which was a big mistake!i received the green tea pills and also got the power colon cleanse too on free trial ..or so i thought. 10 days later they billed my account £49.97 x2! Apparently anything under £50.00 doesnt need authorisation from the bank! I have had to cancel my card and close the account down. I am hoping that my bank will investigate and give me a refund, but that doesnt seem very likely seems as i gave this site my details in the 1st place!I have tried to go through the correct procedures of cancellation and as many others have found out they dont actually reply. The phone number on the web site was some poor woman in liverpool who is getting bombarded with calls from people wanting refunds! She hasnt even heard of them. Anyway STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!

I am in the process of trying to stop the first payout - reading these comments I dont hold out much hope! I wish I had seen this board before.
I have had contact with them, and some very curt emails from them quoting the terms and conditions.

watch this space...

I too have just been scammed by this company. I am currently trying to stop them taking $79.95 from my credit card. I wish I'd seen this site before I tried there so called free trail! I've emailed my credit card company letting them know not to authorize any more transactions as it's a scam but they say I can only claim the money back once they've taken it, which seems ridiculous, as I want to stop them getting their hands on my money in the first place. I've paid £12.52 for postage and packaging - again free trail my a... I don't want them to take any further money for pills that don't even work.
For anyone tempted to order these products - DON'T they are worth the hassle or the money.

i am so upset about myself right now, i should have read this page before ordering this product. They said the product was to be tried for 14 days and i received the pills after 2 weeks and had no idea it was getting pills instead if tea.i emailed them to return the pills and they gave me an address for china.these people charged me $5.95 for shipping the first day i ordered, $79.95 two weeks later and i just found out that they charged another $85.90 to my checking account.i'm a student still trying to make it so obviously they created overdrafts on my account, which my bank charged me fees for.i emailed them after sending the product but the email addresses i have have been closed.i'm sure they received the product, did not refund my money, instead charged me $85.90 for i don't know what! plus they have $79.95 they do not want to return plus all they charges incured from my bank.
First thing tomorrow money i'll have my account closed and change my debit card number.BEWARE OF GREEN TEA PURITY, IT'S A SCAM...

Stay away from this, it is a scam! They hide the fact that you have 14 days to try the product or you will be charged $79.95 and will automatically get a shipment every month for $79.95 plus S&H. When you receive the product, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING included that tells you about the 14 day thing, the actual cost, or how to return it. They do NOT answer the cust. svc line either. And, it is not worth it - are you kidding me? $80 for a bottle of 30 green tea capsules that you can buy ANYWHERE for about $4! This is one time where you really need to read the Terms and Conditions. They're planning on the fact that most people don't, and you won't see them offering the info anywhere else. Then they're "protected" because they disclosed everything in their T&C. I, too, had to close my checking account just to make sure they didn't debit my account.

Wow I can't believe i got scammed, I tryed to contact the company but there is only a recording. They keep billing my credit card and I recieve no product. It is very frustrating. When I phoned the credit company they know already who they were with out saying anything. I hope they get shut down soon. I had to cancel my credit card I hope the works, enen though the bank is aware. Did I learn my lesson 500.00 dollars later.

They are using over 10 different company names. All the E-mails they send are prewriten and sent to everyone. Their current scam is using the name Green Tea Purity but it is all the same people. If you look at all the E-mail addresses they are all G-mail accounts. Report them to G-mail as being used for scaming. Report them to IC3.com this is the FBI internet crimes web site. Report them to the web sites that carry their adds. This is the only way to stop them.
