Greentech sells houses well, but they don't support them after the sale
Greentech sells houses well, but they don't support them after the sale. It's really hard to get them to do warranty work, and they hardly respond. They'll say they're busy, but they weren't too busy to take your money when they sold the house. I did my 12-month walk-through in August, just a month before the warranty expired. It's been four months now, and I'm still waiting for them to fix things. They make a lot of excuses, but they don't take any action. I'll just fix the issues myself and share my experience in a review. I also plan on filing a complaint through ComplaintsBoard.com.

In the summer of 2019, we saw a flyer from Greentech about Providence Landing
In the summer of 2019, we saw a flyer from Greentech about Providence Landing. It said there was a fishing pond, dock, and fountain on the property. But when we got there, we didn't see any dock or fountain like they said in the flyer. We still decided to buy a property because they told us those things would be built later. But sadly, that didn't happen and Greentech removed the description from their future ads. I know for sure that many others, like us, bought property here because of a promise that turned out to be a lie.
We hired Greentech to build our house in Providence Landing, a new community where they were constructing homes
We hired Greentech to build our house in Providence Landing, a new community where they were constructing homes. The sales team and brochure mentioned a community pond with a dock and fountain. Greentech representatives said they would start working on the pond once a few other houses were finished. It's been two years now, and nothing has been done. Since then, Greentech has had many representatives assure us they would look into it and get back to us, but nobody in the community has ever received any follow-up. They only updated the brochure. However, we still have the original brochure from Greentech that promised a pond with a dock and fountain as part of their sales pitch.
I moved into my house from Green Tech Homes, LLC in May
I moved into my house from Green Tech Homes, LLC in May . There were a couple of issues that they said they would fix before I closed. One was the siding, which was all bent out of shape, and the other was installing flood lights. But guess what? They didn't install the flood lights like they promised. Instead, they used regular lights. And to make matters worse, they still haven't done anything about the messed-up siding.
I've also told them about eight other things that need fixing, like the front door, the AC/heater unit, the flooring, the electrical stuff, the countertop, and pretty much every single interior and cabinet door. Some of the doors stick, and the self-closing thing doesn't work either. I've tried texting and emailing Kim and Damian, but they haven't bothered to respond. And it's not just them, none of the Green Tech employees have responded either.
And get this, it's not just me. Everyone in the neighborhood who moved in months ago has a long list of things that need fixing too. Can you believe it? Green Tech doesn't care about fixing the stuff they promised to fix. They're too busy building more houses instead of taking care of the ones they already built!

I bought my house in Providence Landing last year
I bought my house in Providence Landing last year. I'm about ready to give up on getting any warranty work done. They don't help at all. They had a guy who was supposed to handle these problems, and I actually worked closely with him for a bit. He tried, but he got overwhelmed and quit. They glued down a small section of my flooring, about 3 feet by 3 feet, because it was coming up... now it's all dented. The floors make so much noise, it wakes people up at night. On top of all that, we were promised a nice fishing pond in our community by Green Tech. They said it would be well-maintained, with a dock and a fountain. But now we can't even get to the pond, and it's just an ugly mess. We can't go fishing there, and that was a big selling point for me and my wife. They also told us that they would repave the roads in the community, but now they're saying that won't happen. Overall, I'm really disappointed with Green Tech.
We moved into this house in December
We moved into this house in December . It was a new house and cost us $410,000. We didn't use the air conditioning until June 13, and on June 18, I noticed a puddle outside the guest bathroom. I didn't think much of it since people sometimes come in wet from the swimming pool. We left for a trip the next morning on June 18. When we returned on June 21, we found that the floor in the guestroom and foyer had buckled due to a leaking pipe. I called Greentek right away, and they sent plumbers to assess the situation. They said it was a leak behind the bathroom sink. They sent someone to clean up the mess, but they discovered that it wasn't a bathroom leak. Instead, it was a broken pipe in the wall of the guestroom. The broken pipe turned out to be the air conditioner condensation pipe, which has a 2-foot PVC arm on the right side of our house. No work had been done on that side of the house. *** heating and air conditioning came and fixed the pipe. The technician told me that he sees this issue often and that Greentek homes, as they send landscapers after the house is finished, probably broke the pipe with one of their machines. Greentek is refusing to pay for the damage, which includes the drywall in the guest bedroom hallway, closet, and guest bathroom. Everything has been dried out, but they won't cover the damages caused by the broken pipe, most likely due to the landscapers. Other homes in the neighborhood have had the same problem, and Greentek fixed theirs. Now they want to take me to arbitration, but I don't think it will be fair. They are a big company.
Greentech Homes built my house about 3 years ago and they told me there was a water problem in my crawl space
Greentech Homes built my house about 3 years ago and they told me there was a water problem in my crawl space. They put in some pumps as a temporary solution until they could fix the issue. They said they were working with the city to resolve it and promised to check for mold and repair any water damage. However, they only fixed the problem in July and during the process, they damaged my driveway and part of my garage. They also took the gutter splash guards from under my gutters. They said they would fix these problems but they never did. Later on, they connected my neighbor's gutter drainage tubes to my yard without asking me. They eventually connected most of them underground, but one is still emptying in my front yard. I waited for them to fix it, but they never did and they didn't respond to my recent email about the remaining issues. There is still water in my crawl space, so the problem was not really fixed. Additionally, my hardwood floors on the ground floor are still warped. Last summer, when they were working on the water issue, I asked them to check for mold and repair my floors. They told me it was my responsibility because it had been over a year since the house was built. However, I have documentation from them stating that they would take care of these issues even after the first year warranty, as long as they had time to fix the water problem. There are other issues that they haven't responded to, like my heat and air unit, which the city says is not up to code because it blocks my exit. I asked Greentech to put it on the other side of my house before we started building, but they said they couldn't. I kept asking for proof, but they never gave it to me.
