not receiving any type of correspondence from the club
Failure to receive any type of info from the club in years. No magazine, no letters, no books . I received nothing from the club at all.
This is a rip off, I should be refunded all the money I invested in the club as a Life Member. I am a manager of a mobile home park, we have several parks in a total of 20 parks with anumber of about 50 units to each park.
Yours truly,

lifetime
In a lifetime member of the handyman club since the late nineties, all of a sudden magazines just stopped and can't give in to the website. As I can see from the complains they did this to a lot of people they send us a letter to pay hundreds of dollars for a lifetime membership and alot off us did and Now we get nothing. I have been at the same address for 22 years
I too, have the same problem with non delivery for lifetime membership to Handyman Club Of America. Cannot find and log in to the website to inquire directly with the magazine.
handyman club of america
Paid for a lifetime membership and have not received my magazine in a long time. My previous address was 35377 Curtis Rd., Livonia, MI 48152. [protected]@gmail.com. From what I've read it appears this company cheated many people out of their hard-earned dollars.
If there is a class action lawsuit, please include me.
My new address is:

magazine, haven't received mine in over 15 years.
I have been a "LIFE" member of "Handyman Club of America" since 1995. I have not received any of my paid for magazines in over 15 years. I believe for "LIFE" means for life. I enjoyed that publication and want to know where my magazines are. My membership # is 015279. My name is Charles Ping. My card says member since 12/95. I would really like to receive this magazine again with as many back issues as possible.

Life member
I joined them ten years ago and I think it was the most useless purchase I have ever made.
Money spent on nothing. I haven't received anything from you yet.
I would contact you, but you have no phone number.
I would write more emails, but you never answered my previous ones. So what's the point of your exitance? Is there anyone who's happy having this useless membership?
life membership
While attempting to contact Handyman, I discovered the phone number listed on the website has been discontinued. How does one contact them now? I recently moved (2 years ago), and have not received any Handyman magazines for some time. I am a certified life member of Handyman Club, and desire to begin to receive the valuable magazines. Apparently I am not the only life member with this problem, I saw many complaints on the website

Problem is I have not heard anything from Handyman Club of America in years, and have not received a magazine is years. What has my lifetime membership done for me except to take my money and nothing else. I would like to hear from someone about my membership.
I can be reached by gmail at [protected]@gmail.com. I'm sure I had another years ago but since my gmail was hacked several months ago I have had to change it.
Thanks

As a lifetime member, it was my understanding that I would receive the Handy Man Magazine. I received it for several years but then it stopped. I contacted you a few years ago and then received just a few, but then it stopped again.
I understand that a company needs to verify or update their membership role in case of the death of a member, but I have received no correspondence and today when I tried to sign in to my account, it would not recognize my sign on so I had to create a new account (which didn't even ask for my membership #).
Please send me my Handy Man Magazine.

no magazine/ no tool
i have been a member for years and i have not received a magazine or tool in years, i am a life time member fully paid for, dont know why the magzine subscription has stopped.
i was told that i would be able to test tool for free and respond with a review and i think i only got two tools to test and review, no more since then.
why is it that i am a life time member and i have not heard from company in years. make me a little frustrated that you pay so much for a life time membership, but then after years it goes away.
membership
Why bother to complain, this is a complete scam... I am supposed to be a charter lifetime member. Got the belt buckle, even have the leather jacket and the old time wooden tool box. My magazine stopped around 2012 and I have heard nothing from them since.?
Either I have a lifetime membership or I do not. If I do not then you need to refund me some money.
I do not want any refund, I just want my mag to start again. It was very helpful and I enjoyed reading it. I have all of them bound in a book in my library.
I can not find any website for the handyman club on the internet either? Why. Is the entire club a scam?
I hope to hear some kind of response, but I will not hold my breath.

Why am I no longer receiving magazines?
I paid for lifetime membership.
I used to reveive bi-monthly magazines then it changed to quartly. Now none at all.
The last last Handy magazine I received was Fall 2014.
If I am no longer going to receive the magazine's or any other benefit for my financial investment of over $300 at the time I signed up for lifetime membership then I want my membership refunded in full as I have not received any notification that the details of my membership have changed in the past 5 years.
lifetime membership
John Johnson Member #[protected]. I thought when I paid for a "lifetime Membership" that is what I was going to get. I have no heard from you in over 3 years. No magazines, No product test offers Or any other benefits that I thought I would be receiving "FOR LIFE". Please contact me about this problem. The last I heard from you was my Fall 2014 magazine. I would like any issues that you have failed to send me, and put my name back on the product test list. You have my information . USE IT!
unethical behavior - lifetime membership
I'd also like to chime in on not getting acknowledged by Scout.com, after they had bought out Handyman Club of America.
I was also a charter member signing up with Handyman in 1995. In 2001, I became a "New Life Member" when they gave everyone a new number, and stopped acknowledging the Charter Members.
Several years later, the Handyman web site went defunct when SCOUT Media bought them. Almost immediately I stopped receiving the "Handy Magazine", which was a part of my Lifetime Membership.
Handyman was visible on their site for a while then recently vanished.
I would like some explanation of status of my lifetime membership. I have not received any magazine from Handyman Club of America for years, and now there is not even any minimal acknowledgment of the Handyman Club on the Scout.com website anymore.
I paid for this so called “lifetime” privilege. Please advise to all of us “Lifetime” members, or would like a full refund for my "Lifetime" membership.
like all the other members who complained about being life time members of handyman club, I would like a refund for not receiving magazines and for the company forfeting their part of the ageement. j. callais
master lifetime member of handyman club of america.
I paid for a Master Lifetime member of Handyman Club of America in 2012 and I quit getting magazines several years years ago. I would like to receive magazines again or be refunded for the lifetime membership. Please email me back with information.I enjoyed the membership as they rats new tools and products when they came out. I was also a product tester. I hope this can be resolved.
lifetime membership
I signed up for a lifetime membership back in 1995, everything was fine and dandy for awhile but for the last 2 years or so haven't been getting any magazines. Maybe Handyman Club of America needs to have an article on how to fix and honor all the lifetime members that signed up and paid $400 for the lifetime membership. Very disappointed with this membership. Is anything being done about this. I feel we should ban together and go the legal route this is absurd what has happened to us all the lifetime members. I still have my leather jacket.

September 20, 2017…. My name is David Vrba from Corona, CA and I'd like to chime in on not getting acknowledged by Handyman Club of America. I was a charter member (CHARTER MEMBER # [protected]) signing up with Handyman in December 1995. December 2000, I became a New Life Member # [protected] as they gave everyone a new number. In August of 2010, I became a Master Life Member. Sometime after that the Handyman web site went defunct and SCOUT Media got involved somehow. Handyman was visible on their site for a while then vanished.
I would like some explanation of status of my lifetime membership. I have not received any magazine from Handyman Club of America for years. I paid for this so called “lifetime” privilege. Please advise to all of us “Lifetime” members.

lifetime membership-unethical behavior
Life time member since 09/97, #058315, and have not received anything from Handyman Club of America in years. It appears that as a member, others have had the same experience. I am disappointed that Handyman Club of America, which was a reputable company, is now being referred as a scam by its membership. It was professional individuals who took time to become loyal members that made Handyman Club of America, unfortunately that has changed. I am requesting that my membership fee be returned for I do not want to continue to be a member or associate with an organization that promotes unethical behavior.
