Hayes Auto Sales Inc
Hayes Auto Sales Inc. sold me a car with an illegal catalytic converter that didn't even fit the car.
I bought a truck from these guys a week ago
I bought a truck from these guys a week ago. I had a mechanic look it over and everything seemed fine. But the very next day, the check engine light came on after about 50 miles of driving. The gas cap was no good and wouldn't seal properly. The very next day, the check engine light came on again, this time due to a faulty O2 sensor. I also noticed that the spare tire was missing. The dings on the door looked like someone tried to fix them with nail polish. And when I took it to the carwash, water leaked inside my cab like a waterfall through the door seals. I wouldn't recommend buying a vehicle from these people.

We came with a total pre approved loan, they stalled for hours in finance asking for our bank statements and copy of our paystubs and lied telling us that our pre approval from *** requires it. And then told us that *** couldnt finance us, they would have to send it to other banks. I spoke with *** the following day and they said that I indeed had full approval and the dealership was trying to send it to other banks so they could make more off the back end of the loan. 20 years ago this was an acceptable way to do business but it no longer is. Do better!

I bought a car from Hayes Auto Sales Inc
I bought a car from Hayes Auto Sales Inc. and it turned out to be a real disappointment. The car had so many problems that it shouldn't have been sold in the first place. I paid $5235.86 for it, but before I even made the second payment, the car had to be taken to the shop because of a faulty motor and other issues. Fixing everything cost me a whopping $4300. I didn't get a warranty, and I strongly believe that they sold me a lemon on purpose. I tried calling them before paying for the repairs, but they never bothered to call me back.
I bought a car on 4/18 for $6000, but only paid $5000 when I bought it
I bought a car on 4/18 for $6000, but only paid $5000 when I bought it. Then I paid the remaining $1000 the following month. They said they would transfer the registration and title to my name and send it to me after I finished paying. I got the registration, but it wasn't in my name. I haven't gotten the title yet. I called them a few weeks ago, and they said they still had it and would send it, but it would still be in their name. I still haven't received the title.
I gave 2,000.00 cash for this car
I gave 2,000.00 cash for this car. ***, the salesman, said a mechanic would fix the 3 lights on the sensor. I also mentioned to *** that the air conditioner didn't work on the heater. The check engine light and ABS light didn't work either, and I told him about it with a witness. I want to complain: *** lied to me, I bought the car at Haze automotive. After *** never returned my calls to fix the car. I took it to a repair shop who also said the brakes were below standard, which is unsafe.

I bought a used car from Hayes Auto on April 1
I bought a used car from Hayes Auto on April 1. Got the license plates and registration from them on May 1. When I opened the envelope, I saw that I had two different plates. One matched the registration, but the other didn't. I called once and went to the dealership twice to talk about this issue. I told them that someone else has my second plate, and I think it's a problem for me. They said their DMV person only works one day a week and will check it out. It's been 2 weeks since my last visit, and I haven't heard anything from them. I still only have one plate that matches my registration. I don't want to be responsible for someone else's problems if they have my second plate and get into trouble.
On September 31st, I bought a 2017 *** Fit from Hayes Auto Sales for $16,539.23
On September 31st, I bought a 2017 *** Fit from Hayes Auto Sales for $16,539.23. They said it had a clean title, no damages before, and passed inspection. But when I first saw it, there was a lil' crack on the left side by the passenger side (Look at 1st Purchased Damages). The rims were also super scratched, even though they said there was no damage (Look at 1st Purchased Damages). Over time, that lil' crack got bigger and now it's makin' the metal rust (Look at Current Car Damage). I think there was damage before I bought it, but the dealership didn't tell me. The damage keeps gettin' worse, so I think the dealership should pay to fix it 'cause they sold me the car with lies.
I bought a 2013 VW Tiguan on 10/17/2022
I bought a 2013 VW Tiguan on 10/17/2022. On 10/25/22, I asked my salesperson when they last did an oil change because there was barely any oil in the engine. They told me they don't do oil changes, only check the fluids and fill them if needed during the vehicle inspection. On 10/27/22, I took the car to a local service shop for an oil change and a full check-up. They told me that the engine oil was leaking into the coolant and the car couldn't be driven. The repair is estimated to cost around $1700. The service center was shocked that they had the audacity to sell me this car when it's clear that there's oil in the coolant. I contacted the dealership after informing the salesman about the issue to find out how they plan to fix this since they knowingly sold me a car that shouldn't have been driven off the lot. But, of course, I haven't received any response.
Purchased Ford F-250 August 15 and within 2 weeks the truck was smoking
Purchased Ford F-250 August 15 and within 2 weeks the truck was smoking. Got a quote from *** locally for about $5k in repairs, we waited for our trusted mechanic to inspect the truck and he did about $3k in repairs and the truck was still smoking, he told us it probably needed the fuel injectors replaced and we saved the money to have it done. After doing the labor to reach the motor my mechanic found that the motor was "blown" and told us we need a new motor with an estimate of about $19k. This issue was there when we bought the vehicle and feel it's not right to sell a vehicle with such big mechanical problems and not be willing to work with us. I also think the odometer may have been adjusted. The general manager says he doubts there's anything they can do, but is supposedly waiting for the owner *** to come back from out of town to talk about it with him.
I traded in a vehicle in October and they never did the DMV papers and I am still dealing with it to this day
I traded in a vehicle in October and they never did the DMV papers and I am still dealing with it to this day. It has been 8 months of nothing but troubles. I already submitted a request for investigation via DMV to look into the case. I have received many Fastrak violations and Bridge toll violations, not to mention the car I traded in has been impounded by the police more than once and I have had to send documents to tow yards to clear my name. If the dealer would have done things correctly none of this would have happened. The dealer only provided me with a bill of sale and a copy of the DMV release of liability that they submitted online. A DMV official told me that Hayes Auto never took title of the vehicle and added it to their inventory prior to releasing from their lot. This in turn left the vehicle in my name as the registered owner. I have visited the DMV, CHP, and contacted local law enforcement and they have all traced the error to the dealer at the time of the trade in.
I bought a used 2012 sedan from Hayes Auto AS IS on November 29
I bought a used 2012 sedan from Hayes Auto AS IS on November 29. I thought it would be reliable, but now I have doubts. I paid in cash, as the warranty was too expensive. They insisted on a smog check before release. Curiously, they sent it off-site for inspection but were secretive about the location. Upon receiving it, I documented the mileage. By the third day, it leaked oil, which Hayes repaired, yet the transmission issues began post-repair, sidelining the car since pre-Christmas. I approached Hayes for repair assistance or a refund, armed with mileage records and texts. Discrepancies in Carfax and Vin checks raised odometer tampering suspicions. An independent mechanic confirmed a PCM Reprogram by Hayes on the 15th, with a revisit on the 30th, post-purchase. Unaware of this, I fear it may have been to alter mileage or clear a service code, potentially causing the transmission problems. I'm seeking guidance on addressing this with Hayes or initiating an investigation to rectify the situation.
I bought my first car from Hayes Auto Sales last June
I bought my first car from Hayes Auto Sales last June. It was a 2007 *** Murano in white. I was so excited because I saved for a year and a half to buy a car and start my journey towards independence. When I got there, a friendly salesman showed me around the car. During the test drive, there was a clunking sound when you braked. They promised to fix it as part of the deal, and they did. But after a few days, the windows started rolling down on their own, and the dealership couldn't find a solution for that. And then, less than a month later, the engine started shaking violently when I accelerated. The car had trouble accelerating. After a diagnostic, they found out that there was a problem with Cylinder 6, a misfire. To fix it, I need to replace everything in Cylinder 6, like coils and spark plugs. I was told that just the spark plugs repair would cost $600, and the coils repair would be over $300. They said if I kept driving, it would ruin the engine, so I had to park the car. When I contacted Hayes Auto Sales, they said they couldn't help me. So now, the car is just sitting there. I feel like Hayes Auto Sales blindsided me. I'm disappointed because this was my first car. I don't make much money, so I can't afford these costs. I don't have the money to buy another car, so I'm stuck with nothing. Everything seems to be falling apart at the same time, and this just adds to the chaos. Hayes isn't a terrible company, in my opinion. They have great employees who work fast and efficiently. But in this situation, I just feel let down and blindsided.
Me and my fiance bought two cars from Hayes Auto Sales Inc
Me and my fiance bought two cars from Hayes Auto Sales Inc. for $10,000 in December . We asked for a pre-sale inspection, but they said it wasn't necessary because their mechanic checks all the cars before putting them on the lot. They also said buying a warranty for an extra $2500 per car would be a waste because their vehicles are reliable. However, after driving about 75 miles, one of the cars started overheating. Our own mechanic found a cracked radiator and it seemed like Hayes knew about it and tried to fix it temporarily with gasket seal. We feel completely deceived by the salesman and the supposed manager, Murray. We returned the faulty car to them for inspection, but now they're threatening to put my other car on a repo list if I don't pay $736 to fix the lemon they sold me. I've been trying to talk to the owner directly for three weeks, but Murray won't let me. I suggested getting a credit for less than what we paid and buying a different car, but they refuse. They claim the car isn't worth $500, even though I paid $3,393.39 for it! These salesmen are liars and scammers. Hayes Auto Sales Inc. has shown gross negligence and unprofessional behavior.
