Been goin' to Hempstead Ford Lincoln Mercury Corp. for 10 years now. Had a real bad experience this week though. My brakes went out while I was drivin' just 3 weeks after gettin' my car serviced. When I talked to the manager, he didn't seem to care about my safety concerns and just said "It happens" and gave me a huge bill for repairs. This place is just plain incompetent.

I brought my F150 to Hempstead Ford Lincoln Mercury Corp. on 09/20 because the transmission was acting up. I didn't get my truck back until 02/01/2022, which was a long time to wait. When I picked up my vehicle, I still had transmission issues, and they charged me for a wheel alignment, but I didn't see any proof that it was done. They couldn't take my truck back in for another diagnostic until 03/10/2022. I returned my truck to them on March 10th, and as of today, 04/25/2022, they still haven't brought my vehicle into the shop to run a diagnostic, according to ***.

I had to get my oil changed, so I made an appointment for 7:30am. I was one of the first ones there, and Karen greeted me rudely (ugh, Karen). I asked for the first package, which includes an oil change, tire rotation, and fluid change. She asked if I was going to wait or drop it off. I said I would drop it off since they usually take 2 to 3 hours for a 30 to 45 minute job. I thought I would run some errands while I waited, but that was a mistake. It took over 8 hours to complete the service, and they didn't even do anything other than the oil change. I think they moved my car to the back of the line and let other customers go before me, even though I was there first. Are you kidding me? A 30 minute job took over 8 hours. They didn't do the job right and made me wait all day. This place is disgusting. And don't even get me started on the recalls. I went in with a clean car and came out with damages. I'm never going back there again.

I went to Hempstead *** on October 2nd to get my car fixed. They told me that the wrong coolant fluid color (green) is in the car and it needs to be flushed out and replaced with the correct color (orange). They said that the green fluid can damage the car and I had to pay $280. I agreed, but when I checked under the hood, the color was still green. I called the guy I was dealing with there and he told me to bring the car back so they can fix their mistake and replace the fluid to the correct color. I came back and had to wait for over an hour for them to correct their mistake. After getting my car back, I saw that the fluid was still green. When I asked the guy there about it, he said that it was normal. So, I had the correct fluid the whole time and *** didn't do anything. I want my money back because this was all a scam and the fluid was not even changed.

I went to HFL on Friday, September 9 to get my *** Focus serviced. I wanted to use my *** Pass Rewards to pay for it, but the service guy couldn't find my info. He kept seeing the name "***" instead. So, I had to pay $302.85. I've been trying to get in touch with HFL, *** Pass, and *** Corporate, but no one is helping me. HFL keeps sending me emails about my service and "***" who apparently had a different car serviced on Monday. I checked with *** Pass, and they said my info is correct and there was no hacking. They also said I can't get points for the service because they didn't use ***-approved materials. I think they should have told me that before. If a *** mechanic did the work in a *** dealership, why can't I get points? I also noticed that they put the wrong address on my invoice, which might be why they couldn't find my *** Pass info. This has been really stressful, and I just want someone to help me fix it.
