HerRoom One of my worst experiences from ordering online

One of my worst experiences from ordering online. I placed an order on a Wednesday evening with 2nd day air shipping (extra $15). The order didn't ship until Friday.

On top of that, I had ordered a size small for my Wife, when I checked the confirmation the following day I noted that they had my order as a Large! I immediately contacted customer support. Below is the response, which offered nothing other than platitudes.

"Thank you for your inquiry. I do show that you ordered a size large. If that’s what is shown on your confirmation email. The order has already been processed and shipped. We are not able to change it at this time. I hope this answers your question. Thank you so much for shopping with us today. If I may be of further assistance please let me know. We hope your online experience at http://www.herroom.com/ / http://www.hisroom.com/ was a pleasant one."

In following emails, there was no mention of how to return the wrong size item. The only platitude offered was doing overnight shipping on the correct size item.

I have sent numerous emails to the president of the company, responding to automated response emails regarding my order wanting to know how it went.

Because of the poor customer service I want to tell everyone I can about the horrible experience, especially dealing with their customer support.

HerRoom I will never order from this site again

I ordered a bra from herroom.com. When I received the bra I tried it on. It was too large so I immediately repackaged the item and returned it just as the instructions stated. I get an email a week later saying they could not refund my money because the bra had been returned in other than new condition. They say the item was washed, laundered, showed signs of wear, or had an odor or stain. This is impossible because I tried it on right after a shower and I an one of the lucky ones who do not have to wear deodorant. I think this is just a reason to deny refunds. I will never order from this site again.

I'm glad they do this. I sure wouldn't want to buy underwear that someone had worn. Kudos to Herroom!

HerRoom Stay away from them for your own good

Ordered two bras from this website and tried both on. Both were too large and i returned them the very next day in the same package and same box. I got an e-mail later stating one was in "other than new condition". Somehow when i tried both on for the one minute it takes to try on a bra one was in "other than new condition". Terrible customer service.

HerRoom Horrible horrible horrible

Horrible horrible horrible! I ordered 2 bras. I tried on one for about 2 minutes. I returned them both for a larger size. Two weeks later they said they haven't received them. Two weeks after that I got an e-mail saying the items were either damaged or showed signs of wear and tear or laundering. ?!?!?!?! I told them that I only tried on 1 bra and left the other one in the package. I was told that I couldn't get a replacement but that the bras would be donated to charity. I pitched a fit. Today (almost 2 months later) I received the original too small bras. I imagine I'll sell them on eBay.

I purchased a very expensive bra, in less than 2 months the underwire poked out. They referred me to manufacturer, manufacturer said it needs to go to vendor and vendor can get credited. Herroom could not be bothered.

I ordered a swim suit top and tried it on and it was too small. I send it back within 3 days and it was sent back with a note that it was not in good condition. This company is a joke. I will never order anything from them again. I have NEVER had a return sent back from any company stating it was not in new condition.

If you know what's good for you, you will NOT buy anything from this site. They are notorious for being difficult when returning items. I tried to return ten pieces of undergarments, all had the original tags on them, including their original packaging, right down to the box and tissue they were wrapped in. Four weeks later, I get a silver package in the mail...with every piece of undergarment I had returned they sent back to me! I could not believe it. They were undeterred, but so was I. They had the audacity to tell me that my returns "smelled like dog, " and when I told them I didn't even HAVE a dog, they switched their excuse telling me it had a bad odor. Really? Unworn items HAVE no smell. The only smell these items have is one of brand, spanking new. I was outraged at their attitude and their complete and utter lack of customer service. So, I went to top management (tried to get hold of the President, Tomima Edmark but had zero luck) and had a great response. So, to Darla, Kimberly, and Yvonne, who work at the warehouse, KMA.

I ordered 3 bras and I tried on 1 the day that I got them and after I took a shower. I sent all 3 back to exchange them but now they are saying that there is a spot on the back strap on the one I didn't even try on. They have terrible customer service. If you ever order from them make sure you get the right size because you will never get a refund or an exchange from them. Their return policy is terrible.

I had the exact same experinece. I am sure they are lying about the donating to the Salavation Army --how generous of them. They need to be put out of business. Hope people keep on complaining about their return policy.

HerRoom The only nice thing about ordering from this company, is that the bras are wrapped nicely

Today is June 16th 2011- I started with a 2 item order at HerRoom back in the beginning of March. I ordered a nude color bra and another black t shirt bra. The t shirt bra was on back order and took 2 months to arrive. The nude color was too dark, so I mailed it back to exchange for color. The other bra I returned because it did not fit and I requested an exchange for a different style bra. I was given a label to return the items, not noticing that I WAS RESPONSIBLE for paying for the return shipping. When I called to ask if there was a certain postal carrier to take it to I was basically yelled at that I didn't read and the postage was my responsibility and I could take it wherever I wished to return it. The exchanged bra took forever - well over 3 weeks to arrive.

I mailed my exchange request on 5/12 and did not receive a confirmation email of my return until 6/1; the email said that my request would be processed within 2 business days. On 6/9 I emailed to ask the status of my exchange and received a reply the next day that the exchanged item cost more than the original item purchased and they needed permission to charge the difference to my credit card. I replied asking why no one bothered to call me to let me know and never received an email back. I called today and told them to just refund my card. Can you imagine 3 months with this company over 2 bras? The call center help is less than friendly. The only nice thing about ordering from this company, in my experience, is that the bras are wrapped nicely in tissue paper with a company logo sticker...that's it. hardly enough for me to ever want to deal with this company again.

HerRoom That is what I call awful customer service

Worst Customer Service Ever! With on-line orders you need great customer service but HerRoom does not provide that! After ordering a matching pantie and bra set the panties never came. After waiting nearly 2 months for this order and it never coming, I called to cancel the order and was told that I would have to pay a restocking fee...does that make sense? That is what I call awful customer service!

They are awful. Liars, cheaters and rude. Never refunded my money. Lied saying items were used. They were never taken out of the packaging. Never got a response for many requests to speak to s manager. Kept getting the same rude chick on the phone.

Her Room is indeed a horrible company to deal with. Please do not be swayed by their beautiful looking website. It is all an illusion. And, their satisfaction guarantee is empty. Please learn from our mistakes and do not order from Her Room. If you have any problem whatsoever, it will be a nightmare and waste of your time to try to deal with them. They are seemingly trained to ignore and disregard their customers. They are apparently looking very short term with their business. They charge premium prices for inferior products and then don't backup their promises. What a disgrace!

WORST customer service EVER. My order was lost by the carrier and because I didn't purchase insurance, which I didn't even know they offered, I'm very rudely told there is nothing they can do. NOTHING!

After emailing them that I was really disappointed and I would no longer be shopping with them they thanked me "for my patronage" and told me to "have a nice day". Are you kidding me?

I have spent hundreds of dollars at herroom.com and although I could get everything I needed from their competitors I always shopped there because I liked their reviews and information about the products. Never again!

I ordered a shapewear online on Nov 21, 2007, then returned it for an exchange because it was too small. They emailed me on Dec 13, 2007 to notify the receipt of my return. I emailed again in Jan, but I haven't received either exchange or refund yet until now March 2008. Terrible company! I will never buy anything from there.
