Despite having a reservation for 8 a.m., we were forced to wait for an unreasonably long period of 3 hours before our vehicle was finally made available. This delay not only disrupted our plans but also resulted in my missing an important program, which was a significant inconvenience and disappointment.
Moreover, the initial challenge we faced was the incorrect lot number provided. It took us over 10 minutes to locate an associate who could assist us, which was highly frustrating and unprofessional.
When we eventually received the vehicle, we found it to be inadequately maintained. It was neither cleaned to acceptable standards nor did it drive smoothly, raising safety concerns. To make matters worse, the key's battery was low, which added to our overall discomfort and inconvenience.
Upon returning the vehicle, we sought assistance from the manager on duty, but regrettably, the manager was unhelpful. Despite reaching out later, we have not received any response or assistance regarding our concerns.
Considering the numerous issues we encountered during our rental, I kindly request a complete review of the charges associated with our rental. Given the multiple inconveniences and the poor level of service we experienced, it is our belief that these charges should be waived.
Additionally, we are seeking compensation for the missed program and the time and effort we had to invest in resolving these issues. We believe that our concerns and requests are entirely justified considering the inadequate service provided by Thrifty Car Rental during our reservation.
