Holiday Autos Unfortunate Experience with Holiday Autos: Avoid Booking with Them

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Holiday Autos and I strongly advise others to book directly with a car hire company to avoid similar situations. Due to a family emergency, I had to urgently book a car for my partner's trip to South Africa and chose Holiday Autos through a search engine. However, I soon realized that I needed the credit card that was used to purchase the hire with, which my partner did not have as she had only taken her own credit card and other required documents for identification purposes.

I tried contacting Holiday Autos' customer service, but unfortunately, the representative I spoke to had poor English-speaking skills and did not seem to understand my situation or listen to what I was saying. What should have been a simple five-minute conversation turned into a 15-minute argument, with me ultimately losing my money as they refused to refund it.

It was frustrating that I only received the "must-have" warnings after I had already booked the car. While it could have been a simple error, it was unhelpful to not consider the situation that I was in and work with me to find a solution.

Furthermore, it was disappointing to know that their call center is based in the Philippines and their employees are not fluent English speakers. In my opinion, it's unfair to expect them to handle customer service when English is not part of their job description.

I would strongly recommend that people avoid using Holiday Autos and instead choose to book with a reputable car hire company. It's not necessarily worth it to go with a cheaper option when the customer service and experience come into play.

Holiday Autos Mixed Experience with Holiday Autos: Positive Rental Process, Negative Customer Service

My experience with Holiday Autos was somewhat of a mixed bag. Initially, I rented a car for close to a month and was pleased with how everything went. So much so that I decided to rent a second vehicle from them. However, things took a turn for the worse when my airline changed my itinerary, leaving me in a bit of a bind.

After contacting the rental company directly, they were more than accommodating and rearranged my pickup time. They even sent an email to confirm the new arrangements. Sadly, despite all this, I had to cancel my trip altogether. When I called Holiday Autos to cancel my reservation a mere 26 hours before my scheduled arrival, I was greeted with less than stellar customer service.

To begin with, they informed me that there would be a $60 charge for cancelling with less than 48 hours' notice. I pointed out that their own Terms & Conditions specified 24 hours, but this made no difference. They then claimed that I had cancelled with only 20 hours' notice, which I disputed. I explained that I had changed my pickup time and had an email to prove it. However, they argued that I should have contacted them directly instead of contacting the rental company.

I asked where, in their Terms or on their website, this was specified, but they could not provide me with a clear answer. By this point, I was frustrated and requested to speak to a supervisor, but was informed that there was none available. In the end, they charged me the $60 fee, despite my explanation of the situation.

In conclusion, my experience with Holiday Autos had both positive and negative aspects. While the initial rental process went smoothly, their customer service left a lot to be desired. I would advise future customers to be cautious when dealing with this company, as they seem to be all too willing to charge for anything they can.

Holiday Autos Holiday Autos & Sixt Car Rental Experience: A Frustrating and Disappointing Mistake

My experience with Holiday Autos and Sixt was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I had booked a vehicle for a two-week trip from Manchester airport and was told in my confirmation email that I needed to bring my driving license, credit card, and passport. However, upon arrival at the rental counter, I was asked for a second proof of address which I did not have on me. Unfortunately, this led to Sixt cancelling my reservation and leaving me stranded late at night without a vehicle.

Despite my best efforts to provide a second proof of address, such as obtaining my credit card bill, I was informed by the Sixt representative that my booking had already been cancelled. I immediately contacted Holiday Autos for assistance but was met with disappointment as they did not answer the phone despite holding for 30 minutes. Eventually, I turned to Twitter where I was able to connect with a representative who informed me that I would not receive a refund as it was my fault for not having the proper documentation.

I can't help but feel like I was conned by both Holiday Autos and Sixt. I have lost £300 due to a small technicality that could have been easily resolved had they been more accommodating. I was left feeling cheated and frustrated with the whole experience, and to make matters worse, Holiday Autos refused to offer any form of compensation or cancel the booking.

Overall, I would strongly advise anyone against using Holiday Autos or Sixt for car rentals in the future. In contrast, my previous experience with Hertz was much smoother without all the unnecessary fuss surrounding the second proof of address requirement.

Holiday Autos Nightmarish experience with Holiday Autos: Avoid at all costs

My experience using Holiday Autos was an absolute nightmare. I had booked a car for collection at 2am from the airport and was charged an extra fee for out of hours collection. When I arrived at their local representative desk before 2am, I was told that the desk had been closed since midnight, leaving my family and I completely stranded. We were faced with a 2 hour drive to our hotel and had no way of getting there.

Frustrated and desperate, I rented an expensive Hertz car for the night and returned the next day to confront Holiday Autos. While they initially seemed apologetic, they soon proved themselves to be dishonest and unreliable. They claimed that they had not received notice of my arrival time from the UK office, which was clearly not true since I had been charged an extra fee for out of hours collection.

Eventually, they agreed to refund the extra day and the late booking fee and cover my additional transport expenses. However, when I put in my claim back in the UK, they suddenly changed their tune and insisted that they had waited until 2am for me to arrive, which was a complete lie.

To add insult to injury, they demanded that I prove I was at the desk before 2am, which was impossible since there was no-one there to record my arrival. This was a complete con and left me feeling helpless and cheated.

While Holiday Autos may be cheap and nasty, I would strongly advise against using their services. If you do, be prepared to be shafted and don't bother complaining, as they will do everything in their power to avoid taking responsibility for their mistakes. Overall, my experience with Holiday Autos was extremely disappointing and I cannot in good conscience recommend them to anyone.

Holiday Autos Holiday Autos Review: Frustrating and Time-Consuming Experience for Families with Young Children. Avoid Booking with this Company

I do not recommend booking with Holiday Autos, particularly for families with young children. My personal experience with this company was extremely frustrating and time-consuming. We booked a hire car in Majorca and followed the instructions to meet a minibus outside to take us to the car hire depot. Unfortunately, there was only one minibus operating at the time, resulting in a huge queue. After waiting in the boiling heat for over an hour with our two young children, we decided to get a taxi to the depot instead.

Upon arrival at the depot, we found yet another huge queue, which we had to endure for another hour with our hungry and tired babies. There was no contact number available to call for help, no representatives present to speak with, and the only means of communication was an online chat service. Unfortunately, the responses we received from the chat were irrelevant and of no help in resolving our situation.

Finally, we decided to cancel the car hire booking entirely, as we felt it was not worth the hassle and inconvenience. The company's terms and conditions indicated that we would be eligible for a full refund minus a ?43 charge, which we were willing to accept. However, to our dismay, the company claimed that we did not show up, and we were no longer eligible for any kind of refund.

As a result of this experience, I strongly advise families to avoid booking with Holiday Autos. Our three-hour ordeal in the heat with hungry and tired children was certainly not how we wanted to begin our holiday. Spare yourself the frustration and inconvenience and look for a better car hire company.

Holiday Autos Unprofessional behavior of Holiday Autos and Green Motion car rental services

Regrettably, my interaction with Holiday Autos has left me with an unfavorable impression. Initially, I rented a car on their website and was provided with Green Motion as the local supplier for my trip to Gdansk, Poland. However, upon arriving at the airport on the 27th of December 2019, I was disappointed to find out that Green Motion had no office at the airport. After contacting them, one of their employees arrived 20 minutes later to pick us up and took us to their office. There, we made an agreement with the employee that he would meet us at the same location before our flight on 1st January 2020, and take us to the airport at the same place where we were picked up.

On the day of our departure, we arrived at the agreed location and waited for 45 minutes outside the office which was locked with a television on, making several attempts to contact the employee through phone calls and messages, with no response. We were left with no choice but to head to the airport ourselves, parking the vehicle in the airport parking lot. To our utter surprise, after six hours, the employee called us to ask for the car's location, without even apologizing for their unprofessional behavior. Shortly thereafter, Green Motion sent me an email, deducting from my credit card balance an amount of 74 EUR and charging me an additional 73,80 EUR as a penalty for failing to leave the vehicle in the designated location. Despite my numerous attempts to contact them, they did not respond, and I had no choice but to report everything to their customer service.

After lodging a complaint (PL485184440, case: [protected]) with Holiday Autos, they informed me after a month and a half that they were unable to assist me with the issue, leaving me in a precarious situation. However, I have collected all documents that support my case, and I plan to take it up with my bank. Given my experience, I do not recommend using Holiday Autos or Green Motion services, as they demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction.

Holiday Autos Terrible Experience with Holiday Autos: A Warning Against Their Fraudulent Services

I had a terrible experience with Holiday Autos and would strongly advise against using their services. My ordeal began on December 23rd, when I searched for car rentals on the popular website Kayak. Holiday Autos was among the results, and despite my better judgment, I went through with the reservation process. I input my credit card information on the website, under the assurance that I would not be charged until I picked up the car. I requested a 4 pm pickup time and received a booking confirmation email from Holiday Autos shortly after.

However, upon contacting the rental car supplier Routes in Puerto Rico to confirm the reservation, I was informed that they had no record of my booking and no available cars. I called Holiday Autos on their US phone number to get to the bottom of the situation, and spoke to a representative named Yasmin. She explained that there had been a mistake on their website, and that my requested pickup time of 4 pm was mistakenly scheduled for 4 pm in Ireland, rather than Puerto Rico. This was obviously very frustrating and made no sense, as the rental was for Puerto Rico and not Ireland.

To make matters worse, Yasmin was unable to refund my full payment of $500 right away, citing reasons that were unclear to me. Despite multiple attempts to contact them since then, Holiday Autos has refused to return my money and has even accused me of being a "no-show." This is simply not true, and I feel completely ripped off by this company. I strongly advise anyone considering using their services to look elsewhere, as they are fraudulent and will steal your money.

Holiday Autos Beware: Holiday Autos & Europcar's Lack of Transparency and Honesty

As a frequent traveler, I have always prioritized convenience, affordability and transparency when it comes to renting cars for my trips. However, my recent experience with Holiday Autos left me disappointed and frustrated.

Prior to my trip to Huatulco, Mexico, I took the necessary step of contacting Holiday Autos to inquire about mandatory insurance policies for their rentals, as well as the process for waiving collision coverage. I was given specific instructions and was able to secure a letter from my credit card company, which I believed was all that was required to waive the additional insurance.

Unfortunately, the situation took a turn for the worse when I arrived at the Europcar desk to pick up my rental car. The clerk informed me that there was another mandatory insurance policy that would cost me an additional $200, and that I needed a second letter to waive it. However, he was unable to provide details on the required letter or its source, which I found confusing and frustrating.

I tried to explain the unacceptable nature of the situation and requested to cancel my reservation. The clerk informed me that I would have to go through the Holiday Autos agency to do so. However, I was unable to contact them at the time and had to wait until after my trip to address the issue.

When I finally contacted Holiday Autos upon my return, they were unresponsive until I left a negative review on their Facebook page. Even then, their response was disappointing, as they attempted to justify the unexplained $200 insurance fee and claimed that Europcar was simply seeking a deposit for waiving the additional insurance.

As a result of this experience, I discovered that Hertz was offering rentals at double the cost, but still, I decided to go with them as they allowed me to waive additional insurance by simply placing a deposit on my credit card.

Overall, I would caution anyone about dealing with Holiday Autos or Europcar in the future. Their lack of transparency and honesty left me feeling taken advantage of, and I would not recommend their services to anyone. When renting a car, always be sure to do your research thoroughly and make sure that any agreements are clearly outlined and upfront.

Holiday Autos Avoid Holiday Autos: Poor Customer Service and Refusal to Refund Prepayment

I recently had an extremely negative experience with Holiday Autos and would strongly advise against using their services. Over the years, I have rented many cars for personal and business travel, and while I have encountered a few issues, nothing compares to the terrible treatment I received from Holiday Autos.

On this occasion, I booked a car for pick-up in Calgary, AB through Holiday Autos. Unfortunately, due to an overnight snowstorm, my flight was delayed and rerouted through two other cities before arriving in Calgary. I tried to contact ZOOM rental car, the company with whom I had booked the car, to let them know we would be late. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone, even though it was during business hours and before our scheduled pick-up time.

I tried again from our second flight just before take-off and finally got through to someone at ZOOM. However, they were incredibly rude and had already cancelled our reservation. They refused to help us rebook and directed us to Holiday Autos. I tried to contact Holiday Autos twice through their live chat, but each time the conversation just ended without resolution. I then sent an email with proof of our flight cancellations and changes, but received no response.

Frustrated, I called their UK office and spoke with a Customer Service agent who was able to locate our reservation and review our previous attempts to contact them. However, even after all this, I was told that they would not refund the prepayment we had made at the time of booking - a total of $345. Despite our circumstances and all the effort we had made to reach out to them, they refused to show any compassion or basic customer service.

In conclusion, I would not recommend booking through Holiday Autos for your car rental needs. There are plenty of reasonably priced options that do not require full prepayment upfront or treat customers so poorly. Save yourself the trouble and choose a more reputable and reliable company.

Holiday Autos Poor Service and Misleading Advertising: Avoid Holiday Autos for Car Rentals

If you're planning to book a car rental for your travels, I have some advice for you. Please avoid using Holiday Autos as much as possible. In my experience, I have used their service before, and it was not bad at all. However, my recent booking with them was a complete disaster. My family and I went to Italy, and we needed a car that could accommodate all five of us and our five suitcases, including a baby. We made a reservation for a Nissan Qashqai from Holiday Autos, which we knew is a category class of the car that we would get, but what we didn't know was that getting a car that fits five passengers and five bags was something that they could not guarantee.

We arrived at the Budget rental counter at 11 pm, and we heard a customer complaining about the car given to them as it was too small. To our surprise, the Budget employee then told them that they could switch cars with someone else, who was supposed to get a bigger car. Little did we know that someone else was meant to be us. We were given an Alfa Romeo Giulietta, which was too small for our family and luggage. We protested, but we were told to take it or leave it, which was pretty heartless, especially considering that we had a four-month-old baby with us.

Our complaint to Holiday Autos fell on deaf ears, and it took them 60 days to respond to us, only to be told that our complaint was closed 29 days back. It was very frustrating, and we felt cheated by Holiday Autos. If that was the end of the story, it wouldn't be so bad. However, the issue left us stranded, and we almost ruined our plans. It was sheer luck that we had friends who were able to pick us up but even then, we still couldn't give them a lift because of the limited space in the car.

In conclusion, if you need a car that can fit five persons and five bags, please don't use Holiday Autos. They can't promise you the car that they advertise, and it's unfair to put customers like us in such a sticky situation. I'm still very disappointed, and I hope nobody has to go through what my family and I did.

Holiday Autos Avoid Holiday Autos: Poor Service, Hidden Fees, and Unethical Business Practices

My experience with Holiday Autos was far from enjoyable. I decided to rent a car through their Tallinn Airport location and unfortunately, it was an uphill battle from the start. I spent half an hour searching for the car in the snow-covered parking lot (as well as snow-covered cars) before finally making my way to the reception desk. However, the receptionist was not able to leave their post unattended which resulted in a bit of an inconvenience for myself and fellow travelers.

Despite the delayed start to our European holiday road trip, we were on our way. Or so we thought. Just a mere three days later, we received a call informing us that we had to return the car to the pickup location because the car was not allowed to leave the country. This was a complete surprise to us as we had clearly stated during pickup that we intended to travel around Europe. It's frustrating that the receptionist had failed to mention this beforehand.

Upon returning the car, we were told by the attendant that everything was in perfect condition and the tank was full. We left feeling optimistic that everything had been resolved. A few days later, however, we were hit with a bill totaling $897 for the three day rental, as well as some additional unspecified fees. It's worth noting that we had returned the car with a full tank of gas, as indicated on the receipt.

The fact that this company is trying to charge such an exorbitant amount for just three days of rental is absurd. It's been a headache trying to resolve this issue, and I'm currently looking into legal options to fight the charge back in the US. I deeply regret choosing Holiday Autos and would never recommend this company to anyone. My advice would be to look elsewhere for rental car services as this company's practices seem highly questionable.

We understand that these times have been tough, especially with the ongoing pandemic. As such, we all want to ensure that our travel plans are as flexible as possible, which is why Holiday Autos seemed like the perfect choice. After all, they offer free cancellations, giving us the peace of mind that we need during this uncertain period.

Unfortunately, our experience with Holiday Autos has been far from satisfactory. Despite their claims of free cancellations, we discovered that they are not willing to provide refunds to our credit card. Instead, they offered us vouchers, which we initially considered, but after scrutinizing their terms and conditions, we realized that they are heavily biased towards the company. Therefore, we must warn others not to accept the vouchers as they may not receive value for money.

We are extremely disappointed with Holiday Autos as they were our trusted choice to cater to our travel needs. It is disheartening to see that they are unwilling to stand by their promises and put their customers at a disadvantage. Indeed, our experience is not unique, as we discovered that other customers have faced similar issues when requesting refunds, despite their cancellation policy.

We have attempted to reach out to Holiday Autos through various channels, but we received a blunt refusal to refund our money to our credit card. It is regrettable that this situation has come to this, as we had high expectations for Holiday Autos. However, we cannot help but feel that these expectations have been severely let down, and as such, we will be sharing our negative experiences with others.

Holiday Autos Holiday Autos' Insurance Policy is a Scam - Buyer Beware!

I recently had a terrible experience with Holiday Autos (holidayautos.com) after being convinced to buy their insurance to cover any possible damage to the car I rented in Cape Town. I believed I was being cautious and responsible, hoping to avoid any potential expenses due to an accident. However, my trust in their policy was completely misplaced.

Unfortunately, I was involved in a minor accident which was entirely my fault, and the rental company deducted ?1900 from my account for the damage. I was devastated to learn that the underwriters of the policy, AXA, refused to pay for the damage. Apparently, they needed a more detailed breakdown of how the ?1900 was used, which the rental company was not willing to provide. It seemed like a ridiculous excuse, and I was beyond frustrated that I was receiving no assistance from either party.

What made things even worse was the apathetic response of the customer service team at Holiday Autos. They simply washed their hands of the situation, stating that they were only responsible for introducing me to the rental company and that it was not their concern. Even though I acted on their advice and purchased their insurance, they refused to provide any support or guidance in resolving the matter.

In hindsight, I regret not paying the extra fees to the rental company for comprehensive insurance. The advice given by Holiday Autos turned out to be a complete scam, resulting in me being almost ?2000 poorer with no one caring about my situation. I strongly advise anyone considering using Holiday Autos to be cautious and do their research before making any decisions.

Holiday Autos My Nightmare Experience with Holiday Autos Car Rental

If you're planning to rent a car, allow me to share my experience with Holiday Autos. First, let me start by saying that I've always been loyal to Priceline when it comes to booking my car rentals. However, to my surprise, Priceline transferred me to Holiday Autos for my most recent booking. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a nightmare.

From the outset, I faced multiple issues when trying to book my car rental. The online booking process would display a message saying "Booking Confirmed" after inputting my credit card details, but minutes later, I would receive an email stating that my booking had been cancelled. This was beyond frustrating.

After several attempts, my booking finally went through, or so I thought. I received a confirmation email, and I was all set. Then, while boarding my flight, I received an email from Holiday Autos telling me that my reservation was cancelled. To my surprise, I checked my credit card, and I had been charged three times. Can you imagine the annoyance and confusion?

To try and resolve the issue, I spoke with Holiday Autos' online help system. This turned out to be the most futile experience. I was put on an endless hold, and when I finally spoke with a representative, they outright lied to me. The representative informed me that I was not charged, and this was after I had sent them screenshots of the charges.

In summary, my experience with Holiday Autos was far from satisfactory. I would advise you to save yourself the hassle and stress and book with other car rental service providers.

When I initially decided to book a car rental through Holiday Autos, I had high hopes. But when it came time to make a cancellation, I soon found out things weren't as easy as they were advertised. Despite their claims of 24/7 customer service, I was unable to reach anyone when I called. And when I attempted to cancel online, I had no such luck. Each time I clicked "cancel," nothing happened.

After several days of trying, I was finally able to speak to someone in customer service about the matter. Unfortunately, at this point, it was already past the start date of my scheduled booking, and they informed me that they would be keeping my money despite my having never gotten the car. This was a disappointing and frustrating experience, and it left me extremely frustrated.

If you're thinking of using Holiday Autos, I caution you to proceed with caution. They may engage in false advertising and leave you in the lurch when it matters most. They may even search for reasons to hold onto your money even if you are unable to use their services. So, before you book that rental car, remember to read reviews and research the company to avoid falling prey to such unethical business practices.

Holiday Autos Disappointing and frustrating experience with Holiday Autos car rental

Our experience with Holiday Autos left us feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated. Unfortunately, due to the COVID19 virus, we had to cancel our upcoming trip to the UK, which included a car rental reservation through Enterprise. As Holiday Autos served as a third party broker in the UK, we contacted Enterprise to cancel the rental and receive a refund of the $400 deposit.

To our surprise, Enterprise informed us that they could not refund the deposit, as Holiday Autos had initially handled the rental and charged our credit card. Despite our attempts to obtain a refund from Holiday Autos directly, they adamantly refused to return our deposit. This was despite the fact that the original rental confirmation and confirmation number were received via email from Enterprise.

Ultimately, neither Enterprise nor Holiday Autos lost out on anything since the car rental was still able to be rented out by Enterprise due to our timely cancellation. Nonetheless, we were extremely frustrated that Holiday Autos was keeping our deposit without any justifiable reason. In hindsight, we regret not investigating the reputation of the company before using their services, as it appears that they have numerous negative reviews, and are not regarded as a trustworthy company.

Overall, we would strongly advise anyone considering using the services of Holiday Autos to strongly reconsider and to look elsewhere. Our experience with them was extremely unpleasant, and we would not wish it upon anyone else.

My experience with Holiday Autos during the recent holiday season was nothing short of a nightmare. The omicron surge caused significant travel delays, which resulted in my late arrival to pick up the car I had booked through the company's website.

Despite being a mere 10 minutes late to collect the car, I was informed by the company's strict 24-hour policy that I could no longer pick up the rental vehicle. This left me and my four children stranded in Jamaica for two whole weeks with no option but to fend for ourselves. It was a stressful and upsetting situation that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

To make matters worse, when we finally arrived to pick up the car that we had already paid for, we were informed that there were no more cars available. There was no guarantee that we would have even received the car if we had been on time, leaving us stranded without transportation. We were left with very few options and no help or support from the company, other than a few automated emails reminding us that our account was under review.

Despite the circumstances being completely out of my control, Holiday Autos refused to provide me with any sort of service or refund, leaving me deeply disappointed and frustrated with their customer service. The lack of empathy and understanding from the company was truly disheartening.

All in all, I would highly advise anyone considering booking with Holiday Autos to exercise caution and read the fine print carefully. My experience was nothing short of disastrous, and I would hate for anyone else to go through a similar ordeal.

Holiday Autos Holiday Autos Review: Misleading Email and Poor Customer Service Lead to Frustrating Rental Experience

When it comes to renting a car, we all want things to go smoothly without any hiccups. Unfortunately, that was not the case with my recent experience with Holiday Autos. While I don't rent cars often, I decided to give Holiday Autos a try, and from the get-go, everything seemed to be going fine. I followed all the instructions provided in the email, including submitting all the necessary documentation. The problem came when I arrived at the car rental location - Zoom Car Rentals.

To my surprise, Zoom Car Rentals required a $500 CAD hold on my card, which I wasn't aware of beforehand. Since my card limit was just $500, I was unable to rent the car. Disappointed, I tried canceling my booking through the Holiday Autos website, but things only got worse. The website kept giving me errors during the process, which left me feeling helpless.

Feeling frustrated, I decided to start a chat with Holiday Autos' customer service representatives, hoping they would have the answers I needed. To my surprise, they refused to refund my money, stating that it was past my pickup time. Additionally, they reminded me that I should have known about the hold on my card since they had sent me an email to that effect. According to them, the email stated that I had to provide a card for a deposit, followed by ($0.00), which misled me into thinking everything was okay.

Despite showing them a screenshot of the confusing email, they still refused to grant me a refund. The result was that I ended up losing almost $200 CAD for nothing. Needless to say, the whole experience was terrible, and I hope that no one has to go through such an ordeal with Holiday Autos again. In conclusion, I would advise anyone renting a car to be careful and read all the terms and conditions carefully before proceeding.

Holiday Autos Review: Easirent and Holiday Autos - A Complete Disappointment

My experience with Holiday Autos and Easirent was a complete disappointment. As excited as I was to embark on my 10-day rental, things quickly went off track. Easirent, the company that Holiday Autos paired us up with, proved to be incredibly difficult to rent from. From the outset, their conduct seemed shady and untrustworthy.

The real trouble started when our rental car broke down on the third day of our trip. We were left stranded on the side of the road for a full day without a working car. It was beyond frustrating, especially since we had planned out our itinerary to the day. When Easirent finally sent a tow driver to us, it was eight hours later. And to add insult to injury, the tow driver had no idea how to handle the car keys we gave him.

We were forced to take matters into our own hands and rented another car from a different company entirely. It was frustrating, to say the least, to have our vacation so irreparably disrupted. Even more frustrating was the response from Easirent. They claimed that we were at fault for putting diesel fuel in the engine - something that was categorically untrue. We had receipts and even the tow driver attesting to our innocence. Despite all of this, Easirent still charged us for the full 10-day rental, and tacked on an additional $600 charge for the supposed tow and repairs.

In my research, I discovered that our experience was not an isolated incident. In fact, there were countless travel forums inundated with stories similar to my own - Easirent was a scam company.

It was disheartening to realize that Holiday Autos was representing this company, and I had to wonder if they were aware of the many negative experiences that people were having. It doesn't speak highly to their reputation that they were willing to continue to work with such a disreputable partner. Overall, I would highly recommend steering clear of both Easirent and Holiday Autos in the future.

Holiday Autos My Disastrous Experience with Holiday Autos: Undersized Vehicle, Missing Additional Driver, and Unexpected Fees

Holiday Autos is a car rental company that offers a wide array of affordable and convenient options for individuals and families planning their next big adventure. However, my experience with them has been a complete disaster, and I am compelled to share my story.

I booked a "mystery car" rental with Holiday Autos four weeks ago but through Dollar Car Rental in San Francisco. I was expecting a car that could easily seat five people with three suitcases, along with a free additional driver and taxes included, as explicitly stated in the booking confirmation. However, things took a turn for the worse when I arrived to pick up the rental very late in the evening.

As opposed to the vehicle I had booked, they gave me an undersized pickup truck that couldn't accommodate our luggage securely. As a result, we had to upgrade on the spot, incurring additional, unplanned expenses. Furthermore, the issue of the missing additional driver arose, and I was informed that they wouldn't provide it, as previously advertised. They claimed that there were some discrepancies with the third party payment platform.

Other than these issues, their team tried to upsell me an unlimited toll pass for $59 for the week, which was entirely unnecessary since I had no plans on driving too far. Ultimately, they charged me $754.59, an increase of $464.64, as opposed to the initial $289.95 I had paid. I was dumbfounded by their fraudulent practices and dishonesty, and it was a bitter pill to swallow.

In retrospect, it would have been better if I had booked with a high-end rental company since I could secure a new reservation for less than $500. I solemnly advise customers to be wary of Holiday Autos and steer clear of it if they hope for a smooth and stress-free trip.

Missed spelt name on reservation, unwilling to change booking as they said we were late and they could not change the name. We arrived 1 hour before but waited at gold cars for almost 2 hours as there was only 1 person on duty. Lost all the money and the booking. Had to rebook with another rental company. Total scam and unhelpful
