The guy working the front desk was extremely rude from the time I walked in to returning the vehicle he also told me he was going to put a hold of $400 on my account but still ended up taking it out now I have to be without because he took the money out instead of putting a hold on it he was just overall rude about everything I first got a minivan that didn't even have AC in the back for my grandkids and it also smells like cigarettes so I took it back and got a Yukon that was better just did not like the man for how rude he was... Very disappointed

I rented a car through this business I was quoted 189$ to rent a car for a week. I came and was told to put 400$ down and the remainder would be refunded from the deposit. After the car was returned to them I waited for the deposit to come back and when it did the deposit amount given back to me was 16$. I called to see why I only received 16$ when I was told it would be 211$ the would be refunded at the time of the rental agreement. The manager rudely hung up the phone in my face and didnt give me any details on why I was lied to and where my money ended up. He said the 16$ was the deposit but that still makes NO SENSE AT ALL. This business is unprofessional and they are a complete rip off. We are not the only people that has been ripped off by them. *** has a long list of complaints on this business.

On March 17th, I rented a Suburban from a representative at Phoenix Car Rental. The offensive and rude behavior, along with varying daily rates for the vehicle, should have been red flags for me not to proceed. Initially, the quoted rate was $1700.00 for 4 days. However, due to their confusion or an attempt to recalibrate the amount, it was reduced to $1445.00, and then it increased to $1554.00. The organization refused to review the vehicle's condition, stating, 'We are aware of the damage to the vehicle,' forcing me to drive the vehicle as it was. The vehicle showed signs of extreme use, a damaged interior, and overall neglect.

On March 20th, after turning off the vehicle, it would no longer start. The console was broken, the hood was damaged, and I had no way to manually start the engine. In an effort to seek assistance, I called the rental facility, only to be insulted. I was called a 'F--g Idiot' and 'lazy,' and then the representative abruptly ended the call. Throughout the entire trip, the vehicle had electrical issues, and to add insult to injury, I was charged an additional $200.

My friend and I called to reserve a car rental for the week in , and the man quoted a price and asked for credit card information at the time for the deposit. We arrived at the rental place to pick up the car, and the man was very rude. He quoted a higher price for our original rental and a high price for a rental for fewer days than originally requested. When we asked a few questions, he got annoyed. I was trying to understand the taxes and fees, so I asked for an itemized receipt, and he said I told you we dont do that. This is a package deal. Take it or leave it. When I calculated the rate for the rental with the tax rate he quoted it was less than the full package price he told us. My friend then found out the tax rate in *** for car rentals should be less, and when we asked a few more questions he got annoyed and said Clearly you have a lot of questions, so this is not the place for you. You should go to Enterprise down the street. He also told us we were never charged a deposit, but we are worried since they have our credit card information that they may wrongly charge a cancellation fee or the like. We will never go to this place again.

Worst customer service and management practices. Please beware. When signing the receipt, ensure the agent itemizes all fees such as the rental daily cost, taxes, security deposit, etc. I was told that I would receive my security deposit within 3-5 days. However, 7 days after returning the vehicle, I called for an update. The response I received was appalling; the agent yelled and was obnoxious, failing to make any sense before abruptly hanging up on me.

Over the phone, I was quoted a daily rate, but in person, they charged a different cost, including a $200 security deposit fee. It would have been understandable if the fees had been itemized, but instead, he lumped them together, charging the full amount for what was in my case a 2-day rental. He claimed I signed the documents agreeing to a flat rate, which was not mentioned at the time of pick-up. Had he been upfront, it would have allowed me to make an informed decision about the rental. This lack of transparency is why I am reporting them to the ComplaintsBoard.com. I also intend to report them for further investigation and potential shutdown.

In addition to these issues, the cars are of poor quality, with engine lights on, broken parts, and inoperable windows. Please beware! But if you do decide to rent from them, make sure all costs are itemized and not presented on the receipt as a lump sum; that's how they deceive you.

Phoenix Car Rental On April 28, at 3:30, p

On April 28, at 3:30, p.m., I rented a White Chevy Impala, claimed to have 51,812 miles on it, (there is no other description of the vehicle on the documentation I was provided.) The vehicle had an existing crack in the window when I rented it. Upon my return with the vehicle on May 2, it was claimed that I caused the crack in the window. The employee who made this false claim, further claimed there was video proof the vehicle window did not have a crack in it when I rented it. He refused, however, to produce such video, because the vehicle had that crack in the window when I rented it from your company. The employee then refused to return my $600 deposit because he claimed I caused the crack in the window.

I went into the establishment on 11/23. I was first talking to an individual who claimed to be the owner of the rental place. He had a bad attitude with every question I asked and showed no willingness to help. After I inquired about rates, he walked away and his manager emerged. The manager informed us that we had been there longer than ten minutes and needed to make a decision. I mentioned that I was given a quote of $178 over the phone. He raised his voice at me, insisting that he had answered the phone and the rate was $189. I responded that this was still not $350, the amount they were trying to charge me. He tossed my ID at me and suggested I take my business elsewhere. He then proceeded to rudely tell me and my friend to leave. That's the worst business interaction I've ever experienced. As a young 115-pound girl, I couldn't possibly intimidate an older man. No one should be subjected to such treatment.

I have never experienced this and I truly hope you can help me. I was charged for a car rental; however, the car was not acceptable! I drove just down the street from the car lot and then immediately returned to Phoenix car rental. The car was unreliable, so I returned it, yet I was still charged $342. This was the worst day of my life and the most terrible experience I've ever had. I have this receipt showing the details; it states I will have the car until the 16th, but today is the 11th of January . I really hope the ComplaintsBoard.com will investigate because someone could get hurt if this car rental place continues its deceptive practices. I will upload the document that shows I was charged even though I do not have the car. Please look at the dates and the amount charged. Thank you so much; I truly hope someone can assist me. Please contact me, and also reach out to my companion who was with me during this ordeal. I am in desperate need of help and would like a refund, but the company is refusing to cooperate.

I was trying to rent a vehicle was informed it would be for $419 and that I would get my refund $200 would upon the car being returned. within the first 30 minutes of trying to get a car the first car would not even stay straight on the road and I returned it. The next death trap the seat would not move I could not reach the pedals. The final car I received and I drove less than 10 MI lurched forward making me almost a rear-end other vehicles and the rear window would not stay up I could not roll it up. I could not return the car the same day do to them closing at 6 p.m. I returned it within 24 hours and also at that time we realized that there was an additional $200 charge bringing the money to a total of $619. The extremely rude and adamant man at the counter stated that we would only be getting $ 399 50 back. And he would be keeping the rest of the money. I have informed my bank of this problem and hopefully that can get it resolved. but he said no your not you didn't read the fine print and ,we read all the print. These vehicles are so dangerous that they should not be on the road at all I will be contacting the Department of Transportation for Phoenix..

This car rental company is notorious for renting out unreliable vehicles. Within less than a week, I experienced breakdowns with two different cars. Upon contacting them about the second incident, the customer service representative was extremely disrespectful. In response to my inquiry about the time it would take for someone to inspect the vehicle, he bluntly stated that they would simply retrieve the car and terminate the rental agreement. Following this, they proceeded to retain the full amount of my deposit. My husband attempted to discuss the matter with them, only to be met with profanity. When I tried to resolve the issue, their rudeness was so overwhelming that I was unable to express my concerns. They are in possession of $520 of my money and have failed to fulfill their contractual obligations. It is only fair that they issue a refund, or at the very least, return half of the amount, which corresponds to the weekly rental rate. The practices of this establishment are unacceptable, and it warrants closure.

Phoenix Car Rental This car rental company is renting out cars that break down

This car rental company is renting out cars that break down. I rented for less than a week and had two cars break down on me. When I called about the second one, the customer *** was so rude, when I asked how long for someone to come look at the car, he said, I will just have someone pick it up and end the rental. They ended the rental and kept all the money of my deposit. My husband called to talk to them and they cussed him out. I called to settle the *** and they were so rude, I couldn't even get a word in. They have $520 of my money, they did not hold up their end of the contract. They need to refund my money, or at least half which would have been the weekly rate anyway. This place is not a good business, it needs to be shut down.

We recently rented a van from a place called Phoenix Car Rental 2934 E McDowell Rd for a family getaway to San Diego. When we arrived we were given a van. We had asked if everything had been checked on there end as far as tires and motor and so forth. Both guys we had spoke too said everything was fine. My husband noticed light on the dash was on. So he asked the guy if everything was fine. He said it was just a sensor. We were not even half way to our destination when the van started to feel funny. So we pulled over to make sure everything was ok. The tire was all bubbled up. So my husband got back in and tried to get to a safe place to change the tire, as he did it blew. Mind you our whole family is in the vechile including 4 kids. The spare was not in good condition but my husband changed it to the spare to make it safely to a tire shop. We searched for the nearest place. Which was big o tires. They changed it and also found that the stem to the tire was rotted and apparently or according to big o tires that was one of the main issues. Of the tire blowing. Our family was put in danger it was VERY hot we were on the side of the highway. We were left very uneasy driving the van with our family in it. I contacted the rental company as soon as it happened. So that they would be aware. The gentleman I spoke to said to save the tire and receipt that it would be refunded. We were very upset because of the whole hassle we missed out onplans we had on our trip since it took us longer to arrive to our destination. My husband and my 2 friends are diabetics they all were feeling very ill do to having to help with the tire change and sitting in the heat. We made the best of our vaction but when we returned the van to the car rental place. They did not even give us the time of day to explain what had happened or what actions would be taken after all this. We provided the blown out tire the receipt for the tire. The receipt had everything that big o tires had replaced and what they observed. The guy at the car rental place became very agressive and began to use profanity and was yelling. It was only my friend and I. My husband walks in and hears him and he started in on my husband. Threw the papers at us. We just want help this could happen to someone elses family. We did not get the deposit or the tire money back for the van we rented. The customer service is absolutely horrible. I also have pictures of everything. Tire when bubbled, tire when it blew out. The tire stem. The crappy spare tire and the light on the dashboard. Not to metion if you go on google they have nothing but horrible reviews. Very similar complaints. This place shouldn't be in business they are scammers.

This business refused to talk with me and give me information about refunding my money. The rental car was not working properly and returned after less than 2 hours. The personnel refused to give me a receipt when I turned in the car and then kicked me out of their office. They fraudulently charged my card for the entire amount of the rental even when the vehicle was returned after 2 hours from initial rental. They are unwilling to return my money or give me a number where I can call to help me with this. The police were called and an incident report was written for their refusal to give me the necessary documents I needed after the car was returned. The incident # is [protected], Officer Kirkland responded. This business charged unauthorized fees to my card and will not credit them back to my card. I will be filing a fraud case with my Bank tomorrow when they open after the holiday.

Unless you are completely desperate, do NOT use this place. First of all, they lie to con you out of insurance money. Secondly, the car I received had smelled like it had been soaked in weed, the check engine service light was on as well as the low tire pressure light. The gas tank was empty as well. I rented the car for one event that I flew in across the country for that I ended up missing because the car had a malfunction that I was not told about. I googled it and found out that this malfunction had been recalled. It took over an hour for someone to come service the car which is how I missed my event. I went to return the car at a time they gave me and the whole building was closed. I had to call over eight times before someone answered and gave me directions on how to leave the car. Mind you I was supposed to be heading to the airport right after drop off to catch a flight so I was anxious about time while trying to reach them. I was assured that some of my money would be refunded due to the malfunction and was under the understanding that the insurance would be refunded as well upon drop off. Seeing as how no one was there, I had to wait to contact them again. Once I contacted two days later as instructed, I was hung up on. I called back and was told that the insurance wouldn't be refunded because I was supposed to bring proof of insurance when I dropped the car off. Remember, no one was there at the time of drop off. Additionally, that was never part of the initial conversation which I stated to the man who then said they'd review the tapes and to call back in a day. Lastly, I was informed that the most I would be refunded for the malfunction would be $30 and as I was trying to understand these circumstances, I was hung up on again. To be continued... Also stating that I had no idea they had a poor reputation until I came to leave a review and only had to use them because other car rental places required a credit check and a form of payment that matched the credit check so do with that information what you will.

I went into the establishment on 11/23. I was first talking to ***. He said he is the owner of the rental place. He had a bad attitude with every question I asked and no willingness to help. I have never experienced this I truly hope you can help me. I was charged for a car rental the car was not acceptable! I drove down the street from the car lot them drove right back to Phoenix car rental! The car was not reliable, I returned the car and I was charged $342 dollars. This was the worst day of my life and worst experience ever I have this receipt with the details it has i will have the car until the 16th today is the 11th of January . I really hope ComplaintsBoard.com investigate someone going to get hurt if this car rental place keeps scamming people. I will upload this document saying I was charged and I do not have the car please look at the dates and amount please. Thank you so much I truly hope someone can help me. Worst customer service and management issues. Please beware. When signing the receipt, ensure a breakdown of all fees such as rental cost, taxes, and security deposit. Phoenix Car Rental Unless you are completely desperate do NOT use this place

Unless you are completely desperate do NOT use this place. First of all, they lie to con you out of insurance money. Secondly the car I received had smelled like it had been soaked in weed, the check engine service light was on as well as the low tire pressure light. The gas tank was empty as well. I rented the car for one event that I flew in across the country for that I ended up missing because the car had a malfunction that I was not told about. I googled it and found out that this malfunction had been recalled. It took over an hour for someone to come service the car which is how I missed my event. I went to return the car at a time they gave me and the whole building was closed. I had to call over eight times before someone answered and gave me directions on how to leave the car. Mind you I was suppose to be heading to the airport right after drop off to catch a flight so I was anxious about time while trying to reach them. I was assured that some of my money would be refunded due to the malfunction and was kinder the understanding that the insurance would be refunded as well upon drop off. Seeing as how long one was there I had to wait to contact them again. Once I contacted two days later as instructed I was hung up on. I called back and was told that the insurance wouldn't be refunded because I was suppose to bring proof of insurance when I dropped the car off. Remember no one was there at the time of drop off. Additionally that was never apart of the initial conversation which I stated to the man who then said they'd review the tapes and to call back in a day. Lastly I was informed that the most I would be refunded for the malfunction would be $30 and as I was trying to understand these circumstances was hung up on again. To be continued...Also stating that I had no idea they had two stars until I came to leave a review and only had to use them because other car rental places required an *** and a form of payment that matched the *** so do with that information what you will ?

We recently rented a van from a place called Phoenix Car Rental 2934 E McDowell Rd for a family getaway to San Diego. When we arrived we were given a van. We had asked if everything had been checked on there end as far as tires and motor and so forth. Both guys we had spoke too said everything was fine. My husband noticed light on the dash was on. So he asked the guy if everything was fine. He said it was just a sensor. We were not even half way to our destination when the van started to feel funny. So we pulled over to make sure everything was ok. The tire was all bubbled up. So my husband got back in and tried to get to a safe place to change the tire, as he did it blew. Mind you our whole family is in the vechile including 4 kids. The spare was not in good condition but my husband changed it to the spare to make it safely to a tire shop. We searched for the nearest place. Which was big o tires. They changed it and also found that the stem to the tire was rotted and apparently or according to big o tires that was one of the main issues. Of the tire blowing. Our family was put in danger it was VERY hot we were on the side of the highway. We were left very uneasy driving the van with our family in it. I contacted the rental company as soon as it happened. So that they would be aware. The gentleman I spoke to said to save the tire and receipt that it would be refunded. We were very upset because of the whole hassle we missed out onplans we had on our trip since it took us longer to arrive to our destination. My husband and my 2 friends are diabetics they all were feeling very ill do to having to help with the tire change and sitting in the heat. We made the best of our vaction but when we returned the van to the car rental place. They did not even give us the time of day to explain what had happened or what actions would be taken after all this. We provided the blown out tire the receipt for the tire. The receipt had everything that big o tires had replaced and what they observed. The guy at the car rental place became very agressive and began to use profanity and was yelling. It was only my friend and I. My husband walks in and hears him and he started in on my husband. Threw the papers at us. We just want help this could happen to someone elses family. We did not get the deposit or the tire money back for the van we rented. The customer service is absolutely horrible. I also have pictures of everything. Tire when bubbled, tire when it blew out. The tire stem. The crappy spare tire and the light on the dashboard. Not to metion if you go on google they have nothing but horrible reviews. Very similar complaints. This place shouldn't be in business they are scammers.
