Massive let down
I booked a reservation for a car rental through carla car rental. They deducted $174.00 from my account for my trip. Randomly I got an email that my reservation was canceled, which I did not do. When I called customer service I was told I wouldn't be refunded due to the cancelation. I had a family emergency that I was trying to get too and all of this hassle caused me to not make my planned trip. I wasn't even refunded. I was told I would be but haven't been.
Recommendation: Watch who you rent a car from.

I rented a car from Carla Rent A Car dam priceless company as unlimited miles, on top of that, carla rent a car made them a premium member for $ 19 without my knowledge, when I went to Lax Airport to the office where I rented the car, they told me that I was entitled to 50 miles per day, for 4 hours I called Carla customer service. Although I sent an e-mail throughout, although I made a phone call, there was no return, my money was not refunded, I could not get the car, I waited at the airport for 4 hours and now I am returning to my home again, no return was made to me, I will complain about them, I advise everyone, do not do business with Carla, do not regret it.

I had a really bad experience with Carla (rentcarla.com). I booked a rental car through them and received a confirmation number, but when I arrived at the rental lot, they told me that they didn't have any cars available for me. They had to cancel at least 8 other reservations as well due to a shortage of cars. I was really frustrated because I had already paid $213 for the rental and now I was left without a car.
I tried to get in touch with Carla to resolve the issue, but it took them 2 months to get back to me. When they finally did, they offered me "Carla cash" as a credit, but I never received it. When I followed up with them, they told me that they couldn't meet my expectations and wished me a happy holiday. I was really disappointed with their customer service and the way they handled the situation.
I would not recommend using Carla for your rental car needs. It's better to book directly with the rental company, even if it costs more. As another customer said, it's not worth even 1 star. I learned my lesson and will never use a third-party booking site again.

But that's not all. When I finally did manage to arrange a rental, the car I got was not exactly up to snuff. I'm no gearhead or nothin', but even I could tell that the engine was running rough and the shocks were shot to hell. Plus, the interior was all kinds of grimy and hadn't been cleaned recently, if ya catch my drift.
And if that wasn't bad enough, the bill they handed me when I returned the car was WAY over what I had signed up for. Like, what gives, Carla? These guys must be taking advantage of people left and right with their sneaky add-on charges and hidden fees. Not cool, not cool at all.
All in all, I would say that I wouldn't recommend Carla's rental biz to anyone who values their time or their money. Stay away, folks, stay far far away!
I had a reservation for 07/19/2023. When I got to the location the office manager informed me that he didn't have any cars. I called them. 8 days later still no response. I called the people told me that I paid 231.00 for my renter. I paid 391.60 still haven't received any money or response.
