Ordered on 08/10. Was given delivery estimate of 14/10.
That date passed and had no contact from them. When I finally managed to contact customer services they told me the item I ordered was not in stock and they had no idea when it would be.
Despite this, the item was still available on their website.
They then said I could cancel my order if I didn't want to wait an indefinite time for my order to arrive. I agreed to have my order cancelled.
5 days later I receive an email from Evri saying they are awaiting my order from HoF. I contact HoF and ask why my order hasn't actually been cancelled. They then tell me orders cannot be cancelled as they are packed and dispatched as soon as I place the order! I told the agent to actual read the email thread and see that I had been told to cancel the order last week. They then say it wasn't done and they will do it. They didn't.
Today Evri delivered my order to the wrong address. HoF had put the wrong house number on the address label. Luckily it only went to my neighbour. I contacted HoF again and about this and asked about complaints process. Gave me another generic copy and paste answer that showed they hadn't actually read my email and rudely told me that if I don't like the service I can just report them to the 'authorities'!
Absolutely outrageous treatment from this company.
Avoid at all costs. I will make sure no one I know ever shops here again.
Desired outcome: Apology and full refund
