I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with two items I purchased from your Bluewater store on 6th October 2024, which have shown significant color fading after only one wash. The total amount spent was a considerable sum, and I am deeply disappointed with the quality of these items, as they do not meet the high standards expected from a reputable retailer like House of Fraser.Upon discovering the fading, I returned to the Bluewater store, where I spoke with the manager. Unfortunately, I was informed that no refund or resolution could be offered because the items had already been washed, and the issue was attributed to the manufacturer rather than the store. However, as I understand it, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 states that it is the retailer's responsibility to ensure that goods are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described at the time of purchase. These items clearly fall short of this standard, and I believe a repair, replacement, or refund is warranted in this situation.
