HoWigs Realistic

I've had many wigs over the years. I'm 50 and don't want anything dowdy. This cut is a classic look. I'm an average-large size so I decided to get two of these in the Large. I'm also contemplating getting the wig because I like a mono top or part as well as a lace front. Wish it had rooting because I believe rooting makes it look more realistic.

HoWigs The color of this wig is beautiful

The first time I put it on I got about 30 complements. A hair dresser loved it and asked me who did my hair. I told her it was a wig. Lol. I showed her the site she will and will tell people about you color streaks. Maybe sell more wigs. I would have give a 5 star but the top is weird little hairs sticking out everywhere and a little dark but oh well.

HoWigs I love this wig, very nice

Had definite concerns this wig would not look good on in this color but couldn't quit looking at it everyday so I ordered it and I am so glad I did. This is just a fun fun wig. Have gotten lots of compliments from girlfriends and my boyfriend likes it too. My daughter says it was a good choice for me. Believe me if she didn't think so she would say so. I'm a happy girl!

HoWigs WONDERFUL!

I am doing my happy dance. Thank you HoWigs! My previous tries at wigs locally were a disaster - too big, too much hair and I looked ridiculous. My hair is thinning at a fast rate due to medication so I had to do something. The style is exactly how I once wore my real hair, so it all works. I was able to take it out of the box and immediately style it with my fingers - away from my small forehead - just like the pictures showed. So once again, thank you, for thinking of customers that fit my category of needs. I am going to order more!

HoWigs Caveat Emptor

I'm writing this review so that no one else falsl into the same trap that I did.

I was interested in buying a wig so I started checking online suppliers. I was shocked at the number of horrible experiences people had and all of the bad reviews regarding customer service and return policies. I decided NOT to purchase anything as expensive and personal as a wig online when I found HOwigs.com. I spent hours reading their customer reviews and was amazed that not a single person had written about a negative experience. That, in itself, should have been a red flag. I decided this was the company I wanted to deal with and I ordered not one, but THREE wigs!

When they arrived, I was disappointed in the quality of all of them but decided that it wasn't worth the hassle of trying to return two of them. I rationalized that I could wear them on vacation, to parties etc. However, the most expensive of the three (225 pounds) was totally unacceptable. It was bright red instead of dark brown. When I inquired about exchanging it, I was told that it was a custom wig and that frequently the color that they show on the internet is not actually the color a person receives. I was told I could reorder another one and try to get a better color match! After exchanging several emails with Celia in Customer Service, I decided to give up and swallow the loss. However, there are several things anyone who is considering ordering from this company should know.

First of all, they are NOT located in England as their website would lead one to believe. They may have an order center there but all of the products are shipped from China.

Secondly, you will NEVER see a negative review on their website because the lengthy one that I wrote was never posted. Therefore, if you order from them and are dissatisfied you have no recourse.

Thirdly, their refund and return policy is NOT as it appears. If you read the first three paragraphs, you'll be left with the impression that customer satisfaction is their top priority and they will do whatever it takes to make sure you are happy. This is NOT the case. If you go all the way down to the bottom of the page and read the section on Cancellations, you'll learn that it is impossible to return or exchange a "custom wig". The problem is that when you place your order, no where is it stated whether or not the wig is "custom."

Their last offer to me was 15 Euro which was such an insult I never even responded. If you are interested in ordering a wig online DO NOT under any circumstances consider ordering from HOwigs.com. They are not reputable or ethical and I can say that from my personal experience.

HoWigs Should have looked them up first. China

It took weeks to get it and yes I know you get what you pay for, but when the item finally arrives and it's not what you ordered,,, wrong style and color plus no shipping label's or instructions for returns I really got worried below is the proof of purchase and e-mails

HoWigs Failure to cancel orders

I have sent several e-mails to cancel orders but have no confirmation
that this has been done. I have been trying since end of April .

cancellation was requested within an hour of ordering TB 210429A9188 as I was unaware that the order had gone through.

I cancelled o/n TB210429A3042 because I was stressed out with having no
confirmation of cancellation.

HoWigs Wig cant get refund or address to ship this back??

I ordered wig and had to email then agine cause it was not here.when it did get here the color was not of the picture had no gray at
all in it some kind of yellow crap
the whole thing smelled so bad .i took it out held it placed it right back in box it came in never tryed it on was sick
of the way it looked like halloween wig

The company Hawigs stinks. I ordered a wig in September 2021 and three days later I cancelled the order. I had to wait days before receiving a reply. I was told I could not get a full refund only a portion of it. To make a long story short, I kept threatening them and lodged a complaint with Mastercard about them. Mastercard sent me forms to fill out to place a claim against them. I told them about this and they kept begging me not to call the bank or fill out the forms. Today, October 13th I checked my Mastercard account and saw I got a FULL REFUND on October 8th. My advice, do not give up, keep telling them you will take legal action against them. It is worth it.

HoWigs Wigs

Do not order from this company, you will regret it! Horrible customer service. I placed a wig order on February 26th. When I requested the status of the shipment, I learned that it would take at least 3-4 weeks for the product to be available for shipment. The company failed to communicate this delay on their website and at the time the order was placed, therefore I requested an immediate cancellation and refund.

Please note: If you try to cancel an order before the item is even shipped, the company will use all means not to cancel or refund your money back. As of today's date, I am still disputing the charges with my credit card company. Save yourself the hardship and time, do not purchase products from this company or website.

HoWigs Cancelled order - no response

I placed an order with this company, and cancelled in less than 24 hours via email to the contact address. No response. After 48 hours, I received an email stating that the wig had already shipped. I instructed "daisy" to contact the shipper and stop the order. No response. Another email, stating they could not stop the shipment. Since the timeline for shipping was included on the invoice, the wig would not ship for >10 days, so this was a blatant lie. Another email from "daisy", we'll give you 10% off to keep the wig. No thanks! I should have read the reviews about this company, trust and verify should be the motto for anything coming from china. Do not purchase anything from this company!

HoWigs Wig

I have sent many e-mails to this company asking to return my product. Their site says to e-mail them before returning items. Once the e-mail is submitted a message is displayed onscreen saying that they will respond within 12 hours. I have since sent an e-mail requesting a contact number - no reply.
People who order from this site order for personal reasons, the company should recognise and be sensitive to these issues.

HoWigs Wig

I spend hours trying to chose the style and color of a wig that I felt would work for me. I wanted human hair, so the price seemed reasonable. I received the wig 7 weeks after my order on May 22, 2019. I ordered a color that had light and dark pieces in the human hair wig. I received a pure blond # 26 color. It was awful looking. I can't tell what type of hair it is but it is not human hair. I sent pictures of the wig to the email address. I had to convince them that I would never order a totally blonde wig. The wig looked like an old dolls wig. The emails came to me at 11:00 at night which alerted me to the fact that the company was not in the US. After many emails back and forth they said if I sent them $20 that they would make another one for me and give me the address where to return the wig. I almost sent them the twenty dollars but I thought that I would be throwing good money after bad money. I lost almost two hundred dollars. I am 67 and on a fixed income. I couldn't afford to lose more money.
They are a dishonest selling trase.

HoWigs Two wigs

I ordered two wigs to the tune o $228.00 received September 27th. I read the return policy which said I could return once contacting customer service. They use the generic name LUCY on their responses ask for pictures of the product and the order number but when you try and e-mail their customer suppport it is not received. I told them I want their correct maily address to return and all they say is do not mail to the address you have or it will get lost. I sent pictures of the wigs and a complete explanation I have cancer thought I needed the wigs but my heart and kidneys will not allow me to get chemo therefore I will not lsoe my hair. They have opted for surgery ad radiation. I have co-operated fully. They are scammers and their product trash. HoWigs Doesn't even deserve one star.

Here is my recent correspondence to this horrible, business scam. And i'm not done! Not by a long shot. (fyi: I will not be using my $15 to order another of their wigs. And I resent how they have treated us all like [censored]!)

Message: this is the most horrible wig I have ever seen and I have already packed it in the original box and will be sending it back to you for a full immediate refund. I should have looked at the negative comments about your products before I ordered. If I don't hear from you in a timely manner, I will find a way to place a very public comment online about the unacceptable quality of your products. The only way this wig could be used would be for a bad halloween costume. The wig is in its original state and is packed in the original packaging. I would like to receive assurance that my money ($145) will be credited to my credit card immediately after you receive it. Please don't sell these awful wigs to anyone else. There are so many of us emotionally suffering from chemo or other reasons for hair loss, and it's just cruel for you to take advantage of us as we try to make the most of a very personal situation. Complaints - things that are false advertising and reasons I want a refund immediately

The wig I ordered is apparently"julianne"by jon renau, a well-known wig designer and maker. The exact same picture featured in your advertising is actually jon renau's property, and was"counterfeited"by your company. I will be sending this counterfeit, fake advertising to him after I hear from you and how you plan to handle this.

It's not an asymmetrical wavy layered bob. It's a messy, bunch of bad fake, very synthetic hair that's not even close to the color I selected.

It's not hand-tied.

It doesn't have a smart lace front. There is nothing to trim. Please see pictures!

It's not capless. See picture. There are no wefts, but there is definitely a poorly constructed, cheap cap with only one clip!

The color isn't even close to the picture on your website. (see picture)

It's not a bob. It's a mess. I haven't measured the length of the hair. It really doesn't matter since it's such a poorly made wig and has so many obvious things wrong with it. The length isn't really even a factor.

The hair in the so-called"monofilament cap"does not move freely because it's not hand tied. Some of the"hair"is stuck together. It looks like some of the horrible"hair"has actually been glued.

There is only one wig clip in the back of the wig.

I expect a full and immediate refund for your very inferior product. You are apparently purposely misleading your customers. I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered from you.

HoWigs Bad product and no refund

These people are scam! The pictures on their website are taken from legit wig companies. The wig you order won't even resemble the wig you will get from them. Don't even try to get your money back, they won't give it back. I sent 29 emails back and forth and nothing's happened. They wouldn't give me a return address, so I couldn't sent this terrible wig back to them. At one stage they offered to make another one, but wanted me to pay for postage which they offer for free on their website. Now I don't even get a reply to my emails.
Stay away from these chinese company!

HoWigs Worst company ever!

This is a real scam! I did not receive the order and they did not want to give me a refund! I asked first for 70% back and they said this is too much for them, how crazy is that?!?! They offered me 30% back, and then 40%. I asked paypal to help me and they did!

Don't order from them, the customer care is awful, I bet the products are awful too!

Please do not order from this company! You most likely won't get what you ordered, then you're stuck with it. I ordered one and the color was totally wrong when I rec it and they would not refund my money. You may need to spend a little more but go to a wig store where you can see what you're paying for. I have posted pics so you see the difference in color. I don't know about the style because since I new I wouldn't wear the color I didn't try it on. By looking at it it really didn't look like the style I ordered. Just be careful.

I would NEVER recommend this company! Ever. The wigs are made in China...which they do not let you know up front. I experienced a long delay and finally contacted them. Got a response from SARAH...who said it was made wrong and was being redone. I had waited past the time I was supposed to have it when she told me this. THEN, suddenly, a couple days later a wig that was 'wrong and being redone' was ready? So, I tried to cancel the order, being very leary of it. I asked about a guarantee of satisfaction or refund 4 different times. SARAH would not respond to that question. So, I called credit card company who told me to go thru Paypal first. I filed a complaint. The next day I get an email from APRIL stating she was working on my dispute...the wig was now ready and being shipped. Signed PAYPAL. I could not believe it! Since my husband needed this wig since he has lost his hair from chemo... we decided to take our chances. It came 2 days ago. If tears would have helped I'd cried a river of tears. This wig makes a BEAUTIFUL ladies wig...but not a man's. It looks NOTHING like the wig I ordered! I have sent Howigs and email, but if I get any satisfaction I'll be surprised due to the other complaints I've read. It will be donated to a female cancer patient. Pictures following.

HoWigs wig

I have been scammed before and when I found out this wasn't a us company I wanted to cancel my order. I was told this was a us company twice by them. They wouldn't cancel it. More furious when I got my wig. What I got was not anywhere near what was advertised and ordered. It is not even wearable. They refused to let me return and told me to send it to a stylist to cut and fix it. I am out almost 400. Its not remy human hair as advertised. It's super thin, frizzy and definitely not what they described. Though they have a return policy they will not return or refund your money. They offered 10 percent discount on a new order. HoWigs quality of my wig

Quality of my wig was absolutely terrible and nothing like I expected. I wanted to return it for a refund and was shocked when they refused to accept it back. That was my first experience with howigs and I will not buy from them again. I thought I ordered a real human hair wig but it looked so fake!
I have a problem with my hair and I needed that wig! But I can't use the one I received and I can't get a refund. I'm speechless and have no idea what to do.
I now have to waste more money and buy another wig.
I would not recommend this nasty company to anyone, please shop elsewhere!

I ordered a wig from Howigs in December. It took forever to get the wig. I paid $500 for the wig. It was supposed to be 100% remy human hair. The wig was not human hair, and the color was not at all what was shown in the picture I ordered.It was the worst quality of hair and wig I have ever seen. I brought it to 2 wig specialists to attempt to color it. No salon would touch the wig, as they had no clue what fibre the wig was made of, and they ensured me it was not human hair. I immediately contacted the company to return the wig. After approximately 20-30 emails (and 2 months later) from Becky, who would NOT provide me a return address, I contacted PayPal. PayPal contacted the company for me to get the return address. Becky told PayPal I had accepted a 20% discount they offered. This was NOT true. I told PayPal I did not accept any discount the offered and I wanted my full refund. PayPal got the address. I recently shipped the wig back, and will receive my full refund in 5-10 days. This was truly the worst on-line shopping experience I have ever had in my life. The company really should be shut down.
Contact PayPayl or your credit card company and file a dispute.

HoWigs The delivery time so long

I have lost my hair for some reason. I wear wigs for many years. I also buy wig from many companies. This time I bought a wig from howigs. I bought the wig in feb. 2nd. At the beginning, I don't know it needs so long time to produce. The customer said that it would take about half a month. It's the first time for me to wait for so long time. I really want to cancel the order, but according to their cancelling policy, I can't get full refund. So I have to wait.in the end, I receive the wig. I'm so happy I didn't cancel the order. The wig is so great. It is a beautiful, realistic wig! No one will know i'm wearing a wig! Hair texture, volume is perfect. I got this wig in dark auburn, beautiful color! I just hope they can improve the delivery speed. But I think it is a little difficult as all their wigs are custom made.

Just recived my 3rd HoWigs wig and each one has been a little different but still very happy with them . If you have very thin hair like I have they are great .

HoWigs zero service and junk quality!

I want to warn everyone about this website howigs, do not buy from this online, quality of their wigs is absolutely terrible. When I received my wig I was shocked, because it looked so cheap and rubbish. It was super shiny and fluffy and it was not a human hair. My wig was 100% synthetic even though it was said "real human hair" and cost a lot. I wanted to return it for a refund, but they did not reply to my messages. Howigs is a terrible scam, please do not order from them. There is zero service and junk quality!

I found out with in hours that they where scammers and requested a full refund, they answered and said dont worry, I asked for a contact address, never received, They will drive you mad, they get your money and no matter what happens you will never get it back not even through Pay Pal, they have found a loop hole with Paypal .

I sent this Email and no answer: Lucy, you say for Me not to worry your site is full on scamming customers in Australia and they are getting together to take a class action under international Law. Attached you will see the comments of your good customers . You have3 by telling me that you’re not refunding Me stolen my money as can be seen by the attached you do not even supply the real Human hair so this is a total scam.

Please do your research... do not be leave what you read in there web sites one the photos that you are looking at are Not theirs they have used another site, two, they will not give you a real name contact. three you will not get a return address, 4 the items you order will never be like the item you get, Real hair is not real no matter how much you pay. Im not hiding behind anything the name listed is my real name and you can contact me through this site any time as I will be updating with the facts, They are a TOTAL SCAM ANY POSITIVE FEED BACK IS BY THEM

This is what I get after bring to the attention that there site is being called a scam and asking for a full refund and now I'm in a nightmare of emails over 90 because they will not refund Me. What everhappens I warn people DO not Deal with this site they are scammers .

I also bought a wig from Howigs, i love it, it's so natural looking and managed well over the weekend of my birthday! didn't fall off, didn't get in the way, never got too hot! i want to order this one in every color!

I have 3 of Ho wigs in color 25B. No one can tell that I am wearing a wig. the colour and texture as well as the styling are excellent. This wig can be combed to be either smooth or funky and looks lovely either way. It is a style that makes you look and feel very polished and I have been told it takes 10 years off my age 0f 70, and people are amazed when I tell them its a wig. Howigs staff are so helpful and pleasant and I would recommend anyone who wants a wig either for medical reasons or like me for reasons of vanity (ha ha) to contact Howigs.

I don't agree that. I have bought from howigs. The wig made me look 10 years younger. My hair is thinning, sparse and unhealthy looking white/gray. the colour I ordered had more of a blueish cast than I thought it would have and the back had hairs that stuck out. Over all I liked my look but it was too much of a change from my own grayish, white, yellow. A stranger might think hmm...kind of attractive but my family was...amused...

HoWigs Wigs

Do not buy from this company. They ship from china. I recvd a wig I ordered of was terrible! There are no returns. Ever. You are stuck with bad wig. Buy from an american company that allows returns. Qvc allows returns or exchanges all the time.

I have been wearing the wig for the past year, and I can't tell you how many people have commented about my beautiful hair. One lady actually walked up to me just to tell me how "absolutely perfect" my hair is ! No one had any idea that it wasn't my natural hair, and whenever I mention that it is a wig, I am told no one could ever tell.

The wig I bought from howigs is very good. wavy beautiful . feels really good. once the item was shipped it came pretty fast. im impressed. I will buy it again but this time i would get a much mediumer length, thank you for the awesome customer service.

HoWigs Save your money!

Do not buy from howigs!
I have ordered a wig from them and it was the biggest mistake i've ever made. When I found howigs I checked their site very carefully and found some reviews there. All reviews were positive and that was the reason why I decided to buy from howigs.
I ordered my wig and it took them forever to deliver. I did not get a tracking number so I was not able to track my order. No matter how many times i've tried to get a tracking number I did not get one.
Finally my wig arrived and I was very disappointed with its quality. First of all color was incorrect, it was way too dark and it was also super shiny and did not look like a real hair. I contacted howigs and asked for a refund and they said that it was not possible. They offered me a discount on my next order but I refused and demanded my money back. Then they offered me a bigger discount and I said no again. My next message was left without a reply.
Save you money!

I have a good experience. LOVE the wig! I'm new to wearing wigs and do so by choice due to my fine, thin, curly hair. I receive compliments every time I wear this wig. It's a great color, cut, and it's a lot of hair. I'm not accustomed to having long hair so it does need frequent brushing, which is probably more manageable with product. I would buy this wig again and I do recommend it!

I find this VERY hard to believe. Obviously, you've never tried on a DECENT wig. Go to a wig store, and then come back and tell us how great your wig is from HOWIGS. And SHAME ON YOU for your recommendation!

They did not make the right color, would not refund or make it right, crappy customer service. Like another reviewer on another site, I went round and round with e-mail but got nowhere. Fraud is a good word for it! If there was a "zero" star, I would highlight it.

I also had a terrible experience with Howigs. The wigs I received looked nothing.like the pictures on their site. They were very cheaply made. The colors we're awful. They also offered me a discount. Iwould never order from them again.
