HubPages Review: A Great Platform for Writers Who Enjoy Expressing Themselves
I've been using HubPages for a while now and I must say, it's a great platform for writers. I mean, I'm not a professional writer or anything, but I do enjoy expressing myself through writing. And HubPages gives me the perfect opportunity to do just that.
Now, I've seen some people complaining about not getting paid or not seeing a "cash dispenser" button. But come on, guys. Let's be real here. HubPages is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It's a hosting platform for writers. And if you're expecting to make a quick buck without putting in any effort, then you're in the wrong place.
But if you're like me and you enjoy writing and expressing yourself, then HubPages is perfect for you. The platform is easy to use and navigate, and there are plenty of tools and resources available to help you improve your writing skills.
One thing I really like about HubPages is the community. There are so many other writers on the platform who are willing to help and support each other. And the feedback you receive on your articles can be really helpful in improving your writing.
Overall, I would definitely recommend HubPages to anyone who enjoys writing and wants to share their thoughts and ideas with the world. It's not a get-rich-quick scheme, but it's a great platform for writers who are willing to put in the effort. So give it a try and see for yourself!
Mixed Feelings About Hubpages: A Review of the Writing Platform
I mean, what kind of company merges with another one that treats their writers so poorly? It's just not right.
But, I have to admit, Hubpages does have some good things going for it. For one, it's a great platform for writers to showcase their work and get it out there for the world to see. And, if you're lucky enough to make it to that $50 threshold, the payout is pretty decent.
Another thing I like about Hubpages is the community. There are a lot of talented writers on the site who are always willing to help out and give advice. It's a great place to connect with other writers and learn from them.
However, there are some downsides to Hubpages as well. For starters, the site can be a bit confusing to navigate at times. It's not always clear where to find certain features or how to use them.
Additionally, the quality of the content on Hubpages can be hit or miss. While there are certainly some great articles on the site, there are also a lot of low-quality pieces that seem to be written solely for the purpose of generating clicks.
Overall, I have mixed feelings about Hubpages. While I appreciate the platform it provides for writers, I can't help but feel frustrated by the company's refusal to fairly compensate its contributors. If you're looking for a place to showcase your writing, Hubpages might be worth checking out. But if you're hoping to make a living off of your writing, you might want to look elsewhere.
HubPages vs Squidoo: A Review of Two Writing Platforms
HubPages is a website that I have been using since 2013. At first, I really enjoyed using it. However, over time, I noticed that they started to destroy pages and more than half of my work suddenly did not qualify. It was really frustrating because all of my work was original and I put a lot of effort into it.
Despite this, I have to say that HubPages did a great job in improving their pages. They were very professional in their approach and communicated well with their users. Their efforts were effective and I have noticed a significant improvement in the quality of their pages.
On the other hand, I have had a very different experience with Squidoo. I found it to be a real headache and I wish I had never heard of it. The quality of their pages was poor and I found it very difficult to use.
Overall, I would recommend HubPages over Squidoo any day. HubPages is a great website that has improved significantly over the years. They are professional, effective and easy to use. If you are looking for a website to publish your work, I would definitely recommend giving HubPages a try.
HubPages Review: Pros and Cons of Writing for the Site
HubPages is a website where you can write articles and share them with the world. It's a great place to express your thoughts and ideas, and maybe even make some money while you're at it. However, there are some things you should know before you start writing.
First of all, the terms for paying writers are a bit of a mystery. It seems like the site has the right to use your articles to make money elsewhere without giving you a cut. This can be frustrating if you're trying to make a living as a writer. Revenue sharing is also going down, which means you might not make as much money as you used to.
Another issue is the quality of the articles. Junior editors with no experience are sometimes in charge of editing your work. This can lead to mistakes and poor grammar. Additionally, some writers use the site to spread their political beliefs, which can be annoying if you're not interested in that kind of thing.
Finally, the site is filled with ads. They're everywhere, and they can be distracting. This can hurt your search engine rankings, which means fewer people will see your articles.
Overall, HubPages is a decent place to write, but it has its flaws. If you're looking for a site where you can make a lot of money, this might not be the best option. However, if you just want to share your thoughts and ideas with the world, it's worth checking out. Just be prepared for some annoying ads and the occasional poorly edited article.
Hubpages.com Review: A Disappointing Dream of Getting Paid to Write
I've been using hubpages.com for about 3/4 years now and I gotta say, it's been quite the ride. I'm a big fan of writing, reading, and connecting with others, but I also wanted to make some cash on the side. Unfortunately, it was a real struggle to figure out how to make any money at all. I tried to get paid during my first year, but it was a real headache and I ended up giving up. I didn't want to waste my time writing for free, so I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to get paid. I did meet some cool people and talented writers who were willing to share tips and tricks, but money was always a touchy subject. Even in private messages, people were hesitant to talk about it.
It seems like only a few writers actually make any money on the site, or maybe they're just pretending to. I wouldn't be surprised if they were part of some kind of promotion team. Either way, I was pretty disappointed and ended up leaving the site. I appreciate the community of writers, but after dealing with censorship and religious trolling, I just couldn't take it anymore.
It's a shame, really. Hubpages.com was such a beautiful dream - getting paid to do what I love. But in the end, it just wasn't worth the hassle.
HubPages: Poor Communication, Confusing Design, and Arrogance - Avoid at All Costs
I got banned from HubPages for what they called "repeated violations" but they never told me what those violations were. I tried to get some clarification and even asked for a tutorial on how to use their website, but they never responded. Their website is very confusing and poorly designed. They seem to be out of touch with their users and their arrogance is unbelievable. Even after I removed myself from their site, they still asked me what they could do to regain my service. Are they serious? They have no business running a website if they can't even communicate with their users.
Their web design is very convoluted and there are no tutorials to explain how to use their strange methodology. I can't imagine HubPages being in business for much longer if they continue to operate in this way. They are part of the problem, not the solution. I also have concerns about their ad platform. I would recommend avoiding HubPages and using other websites that offer better and more comprehensive services.
HubPages Review: A Quality Writing Platform for Dedicated Writers
I been on Hubpages since 2012 and I gotta say, it's been a rollercoaster ride. But now, in 2017, they're definitely on the upswing. I got around 300 articles on there and I make around $8,000 a year. That's not too shabby if you ask me.
HubPages has survived by focusing on quality. They got editors who improve and standardize some of the content. That's important because there's a lot of garbage out there on the web. You know what I'm talking about. But HubPages is different. They got a really excellent writing platform which lets you include video, maps, tables and photos. That's pretty cool if you ask me.
In addition, HubPages has all of the content on one page. That means the viewer looking at "10 Kitchen Design Tips" doesn't have to scroll through 10 pages to see the content. That's a big deal because people got short attention spans these days. They want their information fast and easy.
Now, let me be clear. HubPages is for dedicated writers. You gotta be willing to write excellent, interesting content that beats everything else on the web for that topic. It's not a personal blog or creative writing platform. And it doesn't promise instant success or guaranteed income. But if you know a lot about something and you know how to write clear explanations or instructions, you probably can use HubPages to build a business.
So, if you're looking for a way to make some extra cash and you're willing to put in the work, give HubPages a shot. It's not gonna be easy, but nothing worth having ever is.
My Experience with HubPages: A Disappointing Journey to Make Extra Cash Online
So, I was looking for ways to make some extra cash online (which is not an easy task, let me tell you) and stumbled upon HubPages. I saw a job posting on Pro Blogger and decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, they approved me! They told me that I would be paid based on the word count of my articles, which sounded fair enough. They even gave me suggestions on what topics to write about.
At first, I wrote about the topics I knew well, but after a while, it just wasn't worth my time. I quit, but then decided to give it another go. However, when I rejoined, there was a new lady in charge. I had so many computer problems during my time with HubPages. One time, my keyboard stopped working, and another time, my mouse was acting up. It's really hard to write an article without either of those things, let me tell you. It took me FOREVER to type anything!
Despite my computer troubles, I worked actively for three more months before I was "fired". I eventually deleted my account, but not before saving all of my information. You might be thinking that I deserved to be fired because of my bad grammar, but back then, I made sure to type better. I'm just writing poorly on purpose to grab your attention, haha.
Oh, and did you know that HubPages ate Squidoo? Rest in peace, Squidoo. But honestly, I don't think it matters. Writing sites like these just suck.
HubPages Review: Low Pay and Trolls Galore - Not Worth Your Time
HubPages is a website that has been around for a while now, and I have to say, I'm not too impressed with it. I've read a lot of reviews about it, and they all seem to say the same thing. But I'm going to give you my honest opinion, and hopefully, it will help you make a decision about whether or not to use this site.
First of all, let's talk about the money. HubPages doesn't pay very well, if at all. They keep changing their rules, so it's hard to keep up with what you need to do to make money. And even if you do everything right, you might not get paid. It's frustrating, to say the least.
But that's not the worst part. The worst part is the trolls. There are a lot of them on HubPages, and they seem to be friends with the people who run the site. They can say whatever they want, but if you say something they don't like, you might get banned. And the rules about what you can and can't say are very vague, so it's hard to know what you're allowed to say.
I saw one guy, let's call him GT, who wrote an article about cyberbullying. He didn't name any names, but someone, let's call him TS, came to the article and started attacking him. TS complained to HubPages, and then wrote an article accusing GT of cyberbullying. And guess what? GT got banned, but TS didn't. Why? Because TS works for the site. He can say whatever he wants, but if you say something he doesn't like, you're out. It's not fair, but that's how it is.
I had a similar problem with TS, but I closed my page and now I read my favorite authors using a guest account. But I still see TS out there, trying to eradicate religion one hubber at a time. It's crazy, but that's what happens on HubPages.
So, in conclusion, I wouldn't recommend HubPages. There are too many trolls, and the site doesn't pay very well. If you're looking for a place to write, there are better options out there.
Hubpages Review: A Rollercoaster Ride of High Ratings and Low Pay
I've been writing for Hubpages for a while now, and I gotta say, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. On the one hand, my articles have been getting some pretty high ratings from the site itself, which is always nice. And they've even been featured on the site, which means they're considered top-notch content. But on the other hand, I haven't exactly been raking in the dough.
I mean, I've been writing for this site for seven years now, and you'd think I'd have made at least a little bit of money by now, right? But nope. My total balance on Hubpages is just over $40. And get this: in order to cash out, you need to have a minimum of $50 in your account. That's right, folks. I'm $10 short of being able to get any money at all.
Now, I know what you're thinking. "But wait, if you've been writing for seven years, how come you haven't made more than $40?" Well, let me tell you. Hubpages used to pay writers a higher share of the earnings, but they've since changed their policies. And now, my balance increases by a whopping $0.04 a month. At this rate, I'll be lucky if I can cash out before I'm 90.
And here's the real kicker: because of this stupid minimum cash out balance, most writers on Hubpages will never see a dime for their hard work. Meanwhile, Hubpages is raking in the ad revenue from our content. It's like they're using us to produce free content so they can make money off of it. And when I tried to contact their support center to see if I could withdraw my measly $40, they basically told me to go pound sand.
Honestly, I'm starting to think that Hubpages is just a big scam. They lure you in with promises of payment, but the reality is that you'll probably never see any money. And even if you do manage to make some cash, it'll be such a small amount that it's hardly worth the effort. The whole thing just feels unethical to me.
So yeah, I'm not exactly a fan of Hubpages. I think they're taking advantage of writers and using them to make a profit. And until they change their policies, I won't be writing for them anymore.

HubPages Review: A Great Platform for Writers to Get Noticed and Earn Money
HubPages is a cool place to post your articles and get them seen by a lot of people. But before you start posting, you gotta make sure you read all the rules and stuff. They got some pretty strict terms, so you don't wanna mess up and get your stuff taken down.
Once you get the hang of it though, it's pretty easy to use. You just write your article, add some pictures or videos if you want, and hit publish. Then people can read it and leave comments and stuff.
One thing I really like about HubPages is that you can make money from your articles. They got this thing called the HubPages Earnings Program where you can earn money from ads and stuff. It's not a ton of money, but it's still pretty cool.
The only thing I don't like about HubPages is that sometimes it takes a while for your articles to get approved. They got this thing called the Quality Assessment Process where they check to make sure your article is good enough to be on the site. Sometimes it can take a few days for them to approve it, which can be kinda annoying.
Overall though, I think HubPages is a pretty good site. If you're looking to get your writing out there and maybe make a little money, it's definitely worth checking out. Just make sure you read all the rules and stuff first!
HubPages Review: Boring, Unreliable, and a Waste of Time
HubPages is not a good site, to be honest. It's just plain boring and not worth your time. I mean, seriously, who wants to read articles about random topics written by people who aren't even experts in the field? It's just a waste of time.
I've tried to post on HubPages before, but they always end up taking down my articles for no reason. It's like they don't even care about their users. Squidoo, on the other hand, is much better. They actually let you keep your posts up and don't hassle you about every little thing.
Overall, I would not recommend HubPages to anyone. It's just not worth it. If you want to write articles and actually have people read them, go somewhere else. HubPages is just a waste of time.
Disappointing Experience with HubPages: Paid for Business Link but Was Removed Without Explanation
HubPages is a website where you can publish your own articles and earn money from them. I recently had an experience with HubPages that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I decided to pay to have my business link posted on an article on the site, but as soon as I made the payment, the link was removed. I tried to contact HubPages through email, but they stopped replying to me.
I was really upset about this because I had paid for a service that I didn't receive. I felt like I had been scammed. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I expected better customer service from HubPages. It's important for businesses to be transparent and honest with their customers, and I don't feel like HubPages lived up to that standard.
Overall, I would not recommend using HubPages for business purposes. While the site may be useful for publishing articles and earning money, my experience with them was not positive. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy platform to promote your business, I suggest looking elsewhere.

HubPages Review: A Platform for Writers to Share Their Work and Make Money, but with Some Downsides
HubPages is a website where you can write articles and share them with the world. I've been using it for a while now and I gotta say, it's pretty cool. You can write about anything you want, from cooking recipes to travel tips. The best part is that you can make money from your articles.
However, there are some downsides to HubPages. For one, it's not always easy to get your articles approved. I've had a few rejected because they didn't meet the guidelines. Also, there are some people who steal your work and publish it as their own. It's really frustrating because you put a lot of time and effort into your articles.
Another thing that bothers me is that sometimes you don't get paid for your articles. I started writing for HubPages back in 2013 and I still haven't been paid for some of my articles. I wrote about children's tantrums and diseases and infections. I even wanted to write about Covid and protection techniques, but I'm not sure if I'll get paid for it.
Overall, I think HubPages is a good website for writers who want to share their work with the world. Just be prepared to deal with some rejection and the occasional thief. And don't expect to get paid for all of your articles. But if you're passionate about writing, then HubPages is definitely worth checking out.
I was banned for a very trivial reason. Only one bad article casued my whole account to ban. No replies to emails so far. They could give second chance.
