My mother had a lower limb amputation and Humana denied her services with Encompass and the facility she is currently in will be discharging her on November 22. How do you expect a woman who has been healthy and independent to her entire life to get well in 16 days? My mother needs the insurance to provide her with the necessary days allowed for treatment in order for her to get better. Shame on this insurance company for treating people like this. In addition, my mother was discharged with pneumonia from Memorial Medical Center and had to been seen in another hospital in Savannah and was treated horribly at the Savannah Rehabilitation Center and now has bed sores and you are trying to send her home in this condition to die. Horrible just horrible. The conditions at the Savannah Rehabilitation Center were so deplorable that the entire facility needs to be shut down. Did you know that my mother was being drugged with Morphin and oxycodon and I had to fly home from California to advocate for her well-being and safety. In addition, my mother said that she did not give consent for her leg to be amputated. I will be seeking the necessary measures to find the desired outcomes and how the parties responsible for my mother's care. The pictures attached shows how my mother was placed on dirty sheets, came into a room with urine in a potty chair, then my mother had bleeding and was denied treatment as she was not accessed prior to coming into Savannah so her journey has been long and to deny treatment again is not in her best interest.
Desired outcome: Provide the necessary treatment my mother needs.
