Unsatisfactory Experience with HVACdirect's Order Process and Pending Charges
Today, I done put in order for an HVAC system from HVACdirect. They done took my credit card and charged me some money (bank said it was whatcha call a "pending charge"), but they ain't never sent me no confirmation or receipt. So I went on they ole online chat thing and asked what's up, and they done said they took my money but it'll fall off eventually. But when I asked why they ain't sent me no confirmation, they just went silent. So I had to call up they customer service and talk to this lady named Chelsea, and she said this happens all the time and I just gotta wait a few days for the charge to disappear. But my bank said they can't charge ya if they ain't sellin' nothin' or don't plan to honor ya order. So why HVACdirect gonna charge my credit card for a "pending charge" that's gonna make my balance go down, but not actually honor my order? And when I was talkin' to Chelsea on the phone, she done said it was a "known" problem. According to my bank, this ain't too legal.

I had an experience with HVACDirect.com recently when I needed to purchase an item for my home. On November 5, I called their customer service and spoke with a representative who promised that the item I needed was indeed in stock and ready for shipment. I was relieved to hear this and was looking forward to receiving my order soon.
However, as days passed by, I started to get worried because I hadn't received any updates on my order. I made numerous calls to inquire about the status of my delivery, but unfortunately, I was often put on hold for a long time. On November 16th, I again called their customer service, only to be told that they were unable to trace my order and that I should wait for further details that they would call me back with.
I waited to hear back from them but got no response. I finally couldn't bear it anymore, so I called them back again. Fortunately, they had some good news to share with me. My item had been found and was now ready to be shipped! They said that it would take about a day or two to arrive and that they would soon send me the tracking number.
Days went by, and I still had no tracking number, let alone the delivery. My home was already freezing cold since November 5th, and I started to feel extremely frustrated. On the 18th, a trucking company called me and said they had a delivery for me, which was scheduled for November 23rd. I didn't receive any prior information about the delivery until I received a short email with the tracking number after the trucking company contacted me.
It was disappointing to receive such poor service from HVACDirect.com. My home was without heat for a more extended period than anticipated, and I believe that my order was shipped out by a third party. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend buying from this website and urge everyone to shop locally instead. Such customer service can't be tolerated, and people should be aware of such things.
Outstanding Pre-Sales Support & Blazing Fast Shipping - My HVACDirect.com Review
HVACDirect.com is absolutely AMAZING! I cannot even begin to express how happy I am with their pre-sales support. Their team was incredibly helpful in assisting us with deciding which HVAC system to buy and they made everything so easy and stress-free for us.
Now I must admit, I am no expert in the HVAC field, but I do have some mechanical knowledge and I have had some experience working on HVAC systems in the past. Installing a split system in a single wide mobile home was no easy feat, but it was definitely worth it in the end. We were able to save a ton of money for an elderly lady who has very little income, and I am proud of the work we did.
When our system arrived, I was truly impressed by how BLAZING FAST the shipping was. I was not expecting it to arrive so quickly, but I was thrilled when it did. The system itself was in perfect condition and the installation process went off without a hitch.
The only issue I had was with the low voltage wiring for the thermostat, which I found quite confusing. However, I was able to use the "live chat" feature on the HVAC Direct website and speak to one of their engineers. They were incredibly helpful and even emailed me a lovely, COLOR-CODED drawing of the wiring to make things easier for me. I was absolutely delighted with their level of customer service.
Overall, I am EXTREMELY happy with my purchase from HVACDirect.com. Thanks to them, a sweet 87-year-old woman can now enjoy nice cool air in her home. I am definitely considering purchasing a new system for my own home this fall, and I will without a doubt be returning to HVACDirect.com for all my HVAC needs.

Poor customer service experience at HVACDirect - Beware!
I gotta say, I've used HVACDirect plenty of times before and it's always been a smooth ride. But recently, I went on their website looking for a through wall 12,000 BTU A/C unit for my garage. Had everything ready to go in my cart, but then I noticed something fishy. The part numbers on the website were confusing, so I wasn't sure if the grille for the exterior side of the wall sleeve was included or not. I needed clarity from someone who knew what they were talking about, so I called up HVACDirect.
To my disappointment, the representative I spoke to was completely dense. He didn't even hear my question and just blurted out "oh yeah, you need to purchase a wall sleeve." Uh, excuse me? I didn't even ask about that! I tried to explain my concerns and asked him to listen more carefully so I could understand what exactly I was getting before I went ahead with the order. But what did the guy do? He went and hung up on me!
Seeing other reviews online, it seems like I'm not the only one who's had issues with their customer service. It's a real shame that HVACDirect has let their standards slip like this. Hopefully, they start to recognize this and make some real changes before it's too late.
Nightmare Experience with hvacdirect.com: Faulty AC Unit and Poor Customer Service
We bought a shiny new air conditioning unit from hvacdirect.com. The excitement of getting it installed quickly turned into nightmare when the unit simply refused to start working. First thing we did was to call up the company's customer service team, and they asked us to call the installers back home to diagnose the problem. What they didn't tell us was the number of hours we'll end up spending on this issue. After hours of toil, we were informed that our brand new unit had an obstruction in the coils, which in turn, was causing the coils to freeze and flood our house. We were then informed that the unit we got was a bad one and was replaced by the company with a new unit. When I asked their engineer about my service charges, he told me that we can discuss it further once the new unit is up and running.
We had to get the service people back to remove the defective unit and install the replacement, which ended up costing us an arm and a leg! With added service fees that came up to a total of $1850, this company seems to be completely refusing to reimburse us for all the trouble we went through. If they had sent us a good unit in the first place, we wouldn't be suffering this much. We suggest you find a company that is more reliable than hvacdirect.com. As of now, the company seems to be making excuses, lying and ghosting us. We kept leaving messages with their manager, Jessica, who hasn't called us back yet. Hence, we have no choice left than to go to small claims court for legal action.
Misleading Shipping Information on HVACDirect.com - Disappointing Purchasing Process
I recently made a purchase on HVACDirect.com for a Mitsubishi Mini-Split heat pump. I was excited to find out that their website claimed that it would ship out in just 2-3 days after ordering. Unfortunately, 5 business days had passed and I still had not received any updates on the status of my order. After calling their customer service line, I was informed that the 2-3 day shipping time was actually for after the order had been processed. I am still unclear about when I can expect to receive my order, as it shipped 6 business days after I placed it instead of the promised 2-3 days.

I had an experience with HVACDirect.com and I must say, it was not a delightful one. So, I placed an order, and for a whole week, the order was stuck on "processing". There was no communication whatsoever from the customer service team to inform me had the order been shipped nor did they bother to intimate me when I should expect delivery. After an entire week of waiting fruitlessly, I took it upon myself to reach out to them only to be told that my order would not be received until the 27th, two weeks after the initial order was placed on the 12th. Man, I was mad as a hornet.
When I attempted to speak with the managers, they refused to take responsibility and instead gave me every excuse imaginable, insisting that it was my fault. However, one thing I could not fathom was how come they had no trouble processing my payment, but failed to fulfill my order as speedily as I expected. On top of their rude behavior, they had the audacity to make me reach out to their transport service to find out if and when my material would ever arrive. I was fuming.
As a first-time user of their service, I expected some level of professionalism and courtesy from them, but all I got was a sideward glance and some lame excuse about how I should wait. Honestly, I was not satisfied with the way my order was handled and the fact that they didn't even process my equipment until the last possible minute, possibly the fifth or sixth day, without providing any particular reason for the delay all add up to leave a sour taste in my mouth.
One particularly vexing issue is that they claim to offer prompt delivery to customers, yet they fail to inform their clients that delivery may take up to a month. From my experience, I doubt all those reviews they have were written by pleased customers. The only good thing I can say about them is that their prices are quite fair. We recently made an order on HVACDirect.com on June 4th and they charged us right away. However, we have been waiting for more than 11 days for our order to be shipped and there seems to be no end in sight to when it will arrive. We have tried calling them multiple times to follow up on our order. The first time we called on Monday, we were told that our order will be shipped the next day. But the next day, we noticed that the money was refunded back to our account.
We got worried about the refund, so we called them to ask what was going on. They informed us that there was no problem on the 7th and that our order will be shipped out the following day. Later that same day, we received another invoice, and they charged us again. But after a few more days, we called again due to the heatwave, and we were informed that our order was just processed and it should arrive in 3 to 5 days.
With no new updates on our shipping status, we called yet again. This time, the customer service representative told us the exact same thing she told us five days prior. We are tired of hearing the same thing over and over again, so we asked to speak to someone who could give us real information about our order.
The customer service representative said she would look into it and get back to us with details on when our order would be shipped. She told us it would either be shipped that day or the next day, but we have yet to receive any updates.
At this point, we simply want the truth. If our item is not in stock, we would appreciate it if they could let us know and refund our money just as quickly as they took it out. Alternatively, we would like to receive our order soon, and if there are any further delays, we would like to be informed with accurate updates. We hope that HVACDirect.com ensures prompt delivery and improves their customer service in the future.

I got a notification from HVACDirect.com that the delivery of my AC unit would take place on Monday between 11 am and 4 pm. So, as instructed, I took time off from work to prepare for the delivery. However, the delivery person insisted that I sign a release before removing the cardboard, citing Old Dominion policy. This requirement was in direct contradiction to HVACDirect.com's instructions. I refused to sign the document without inspecting the unit.
I was not impressed with the whole ordeal as I lost 1 and 1/2 days pay and experienced immense frustration. I believe that I should be compensated for the loss of time in some manner.
Overall, while I appreciate the quality of products from HVACDirect.com, I faced logistical challenges in their delivery methods. The delayed delivery and nonsensical instructions of the delivery service provider detracted from the enjoyment of my experience. Accordingly, I would suggest they should re-examine their partnership with the delivery company and ensure standardization of their policies and protocols to avoid such frustrations in the future.
Rely on HVACDirect.com for Your HVAC Equipment: A Review
I was looking for a reliable HVAC vendor online and found HVACDirect.com. Although they were not my first choice, after checking other reviews I realized that HVACDirect.com had the best reviews and the least complaints, so I moved them to the top of my list. AND LET ME TELL YOU, I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! HVACDirect.com was awesome and had my items securely wrapped together on a pallet so they wouldn't move around during shipping. They were shipped professionally and I received everything I had ordered and quickly too! There is no doubt why this vendor has such great reviews, it's because they are amazing.
Initially, I almost went with another vendor because they promised free lift gate service, whereas HVACDirect charged an additional amount for it. Although it's the driver's responsibility to offload the shipment, I decided to pay the extra cost for lift gate service. When my order arrived, I received a Lift Gate 18 wheel truck, even though I hadn't specified or requested liftgate service. The driver was able to offload the equipment much easier, which was a great help.
If you are looking to buy online HVAC equipment, I strongly recommend considering the reviews, and I fully trust and recommend HVACDirect.com. I, myself, will never choose anyone else for my future purchases. One thing that stood out for me was that HVACDirect.com was the least expensive for the items I purchased. Although the price is important, sometimes it's worth paying a little extra to ensure that you get what you ordered and when it was promised. In this case, I would pay a little bit more for purchase from HVACDirect.com because I know I can completely rely on them.
As a side note, R&L Carries was the shipper they chose for my order, and they did an excellent job of advising me on the shipment and allowing me to pick the delivery day. This purchase was the best decision I ever made, and I am so happy that I chose HVACDirect.com as my supplier for my new HVAC equipment. Knowing that I have chosen the right supplier gives me an extra peace of mind.

I recently attempted to order some items from HVACDIRECT.COM, but unfortunately my experience was far from satisfactory. To begin with, I received no less than three separate invoices via email, all with different mistakes in them.
When I approached the company about these issues, I was met with a frustrating lack of accountability. Even the CEO of the company refused to take responsibility for the errors, claiming that they weren't really a big deal and that I should just stick with the original pricing.
But this was far from acceptable to me. Every time they tried to correct their mistakes, the cost went up for me. It just wasn't fair, and I found myself quickly losing faith in this company.
To make matters worse, I discovered that this company has a bad habit of deleting negative comments from their Facebook page. This is a major red flag for me, as I believe every company should be willing to accept honest feedback from their customers, even if it isn't always positive.
Overall, I cannot in good conscience recommend that anyone buy from HVACDIRECT.COM. Their lack of accountability and customer service is simply unacceptable, and I would recommend looking elsewhere for your HVAC needs.

Can't believe it's already been two whole weeks since I placed my order on HVACDirect.com and it still says that my order's processing. I mean, they took my money pretty quick and all and they did send me an invoice, but come on, keeping me in the dark about my order's status is an absolute no-no. Ordering online was pretty simple though, can't argue with that.
I mean, I'd give them an F when it comes to keeping their clients informed about their orders. It's pretty sad, y'know. I shelled out well over $3,000 on their site and you'd think that for that amount, they'd at least have the decency to tell me when my order will be shipped. But nope. Nothing.
To make matters worse, my air conditioning unit's busted and it's sweltering here in Texas - it's over 100 degrees today, for crying out loud! I really don't think I'll order from them again. Hopefully, they'll at least have enough sense to send me my AC before summer's over.

I gave them a call to inquire about any current discounts for returning customers. I spoke with Dan, who was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, he informed me that they currently did not have any promotional deals going on, unless I wanted to make a purchase exceeding $3K.
I was hoping for a little something to sweeten the deal, as I have been a repeat customer in the past. Feeling a bit let down, I decided to continue with my purchase. As I was going through the checkout process, I decided to check the internet for any available discounts. And lo and behold, I stumbled upon the SAVE20 discount code.
I was a bit miffed that I had to find this discount on my own, especially after speaking with Dan and specifically asking if there were any deals available. It may only be a $20 discount, but the principle of the matter is what irks me.

I just ordered an AC unit from hvacdirect.com and I have some concerns about their delivery service. Although my property manager set up the delivery, the process seemed pretty standard. I bought a system from HVACDirect.com and, unfortunately, within a week the drive board stopped working. I tried calling their customer service multiple times, but no one answered the phone. When I finally got a hold of someone, they just made excuse after excuse about why they couldn't get me a new board. It was frustrating beyond belief. Eventually, I had to call INGRAMS for help. To my surprise, they actually sell parts for the units they sell! I couldn't believe that this was such a rare occurrence.
HVAC Direct, get your act together and hire tech support staff who actually know what they're talking about! The guys you have now are clueless and not helpful at all. Also, watch out for Mr. Cool and their ridiculous parts chasing game. I regret ever getting involved with them.
In the end, I had to purchase another unit just to take parts from it for the broken one because Mr. Cool didn't have any replacement parts available. It was an utter nightmare. I should have known better and done my research before buying from HVACDirect.com. Needless to say, I won't be returning as a customer in the future.
Terrible Experience with HVACDirect.com: Poor Customer Service and Damaged Product
HVACDirect.com is an online store that sells heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units for homes and businesses. I recently purchased a unit from this online store and I am very disappointed with the experience that I had. The customer service was terrible, and I had a lot of problems with my unit.
I spent a whopping 1800 dollars on this unit, but unfortunately, it was packaged incorrectly. As a result, the unit was damaged upon arrival and it caved in. I believe that someone tightened the straps over the top of the unit way too tight, and it caused the A-coil corners to bend and pull down the condenser.
When I called their customer service, the representative said "No worries, we'll get you all taken care of." However, their idea of taking care of me was to offer me a mere 150 dollars. I was not satisfied with this amount at all. Initially, they even tried to offer me only 75 dollars. It was only after I declined their offer that they raised the amount to 150 dollars.
In reality, I don't want their money. What I wanted was a brand new unit that is undamaged. This experience left me feeling very frustrated and upset. I hope that by sharing my experience, I can prevent others from making the same mistake as I did and trusting this shady organization.

I bought an HVAC system from HVACDirect.com and the lead time promised was 2-3 days. Well, let me tell you, that did not happen! After the window had passed, I sent an email asking about my order and it turned out that supply chain issues were causing delays. False Advertising: Hvac Direct's Slow Shipping Delays $2,800 Order - Buyer Beware!
Ordered a bunch of products worth $2,800 at hvacdirect.com on June 16, 2021. They took my money right away from my bank account, and I was pleased with the fast service, as it said on their site that their items would ship in just 2-3 days.
However, as I'm writing this today on June 29, 2021, nothing has been shipped, and my order's still in processing status. I'm not thrilled about this, to be honest, and would like others to know about my experience so they don't get fooled like I did with their speedy shipping claims. High order volume or not, it's no excuse to deceive clients with false advertising.
If I had known the truth about how much time it would have taken for my items to ship, I would have waited for a local business to purchase them instead. Therefore, Hvac Direct should look into this problem and make things right so others don't have to face a similar disappointing experience. Disappointing Customer Service and Delayed Shipping from HVACDirect.com
I've made numerous attempts to reach out to HVACDirect.com (hvacdirect.com) and was put on hold for quite a long time, roughly around 15-20 minutes or even more. My intention was to purchase the Mr Cool unit but the sales person told me that it would take more than a month before it ships out of the door. It's just not acceptable for me as I needed it immediately. Moreover, the salesman was not even certain if they would have more in their inventory soon.
Instead, I was offered a Perfect Air unit which, I was told, is manufactured by the same company as the Mr Cool unit. It's quite expensive, though, about $250 dollars more! The sales person refused to give me a price match for this unit, so it seems like I have no choice but to pay more if I want it now.
To be fair, the website of HVACDirect.com claims that the Perfect Air unit is supposed to ship in two to three days. I'm hoping that this is really true. I'm relying on them to deliver the unit to my house within 14 days. I can only hope it doesn't take any longer than 3 weeks because, if so, I'll need to find another solution quickly. Thank you.
