I had a great experience with Aire Serv of Newark, DE. The sales guy, Will, was super professional, knew his stuff, and was really polite. He explained everything and gave me all the options for buying and installing a new HVAC system for my house. The guys who did the installation were also really polite, professional, and super careful with my stuff. They cleaned up after themselves and showed me how everything worked. I've had HVAC systems replaced before, but these guys were way better than anyone else I've used. I'd definitely recommend Aire Serv of DE to anyone who needs a new HVAC system or repairs.

This company be taking advantage of people who need help with their H vac but don't know much about it. The prices be way higher than other companies in the area. They say it's because they use better materials, but really they just be charging too much for simple fixes. I talked to them after getting another quote and they said that's just how they do things. It's not right for them to take advantage of people who don't know any better and just want a fair price. I learned my lesson after using them and paying way too much. Every time I talked to someone there, they gave me a different reason for why their prices were so high. I'm leaving this review so other people don't get ripped off and maybe this company will start being more fair with their prices.

Aire serv made repairs to my cooling system which did not solve the issue which I paid for
Aireserv made repairs to my cooling system which did not solve the issue which I paid for. The manager has refused to return my calls. Aireserv came out to my house for repairs to my heat pump on 07/06/2020. I had a lengthy conversation with the technician, before repairs started, stating the company that normally did my repairs said I had a leak in my coils and that my system needed to be replaced. I was losing approximately 2 lbs of refrigerant per week. I advised the Aireserv technician that I did not want to replace my coils since several people have told me this would be pointless. I wanted a second opinion from Aireserv about the leak. The technician, ***, advised me there were no leaks in my coils and said they had found the problem outside with a missing cap. They charged me a total of 1233.76 for these repairs which I paid. This price included 8 lbs on refrigerant. I noticed after 3 weeks that the air unit was staying on longer than usual. By the 4th week it had stopped cooling altogether. I called Aireserv back and told them the system was no longer cooling. On 8/10/2020 a different technician came out, ***, and he used a leak detector device plus sprayed a leak detecting spray and found at least 3 different places where the coil has been leaking for some time. I have tried unsuccessfully to reach out to the manager of Aireserv since 8/10/2020 after the second technician left my residence. I have called the local number XXX-XXX-XXXX and left 3 messages for the manager to call me back and he has not called me once. Since the 8 lbs of refrigerant was used up in 4 weeks that would mean the repair they did was meaningless and costly since it originally took about 1 week to use 2 lbs. of refrigerant. The temperature in my room is more than 84 degree so I had to completely shut off the air system since it was straining the system with no refrigerant in it. This company would now like me to buy a coil from them and fill the system with another 8 lbs of refrigerant again. I do not want to replace my coil as I advised the first technician because it would only be warranted for 1 year. Since the first technician misdiagnosed the problem and did not repair the problem, I do not think it is fair to hold me responsible for their error. I would like a refund of my money paid 1233.76.

I paid $8,431.00 on 8/2 and $799.00 a few days later for a UV Light/Filter from Aire Serv of Newark DE. The total was $9,230.00. Within 2 hours of installation, my HVAC inside unit had a leak. The part detecting the leak was broken. My flooring contractor found the leak. The AC unit was and is still not properly cooling the house. They said they would replace both the inside and outside units, but several servicemen had to see it first. The head serviceman, "Ben," has yet to come out. I was not happy when they told me the brand would be a Goodman. I asked the initial salesman, ***, to contact me, but his response has been a repeated "thumbs up emoji." My house does not stay cool. I have to set it on 65, and it goes up as high as 80 degrees from noon until around midnight. My previous HVAC was only replaced because it was 14 years old. The funds for the HVAC and UV Light Filter came from the Federal Govt to keep home daycares updated. Servicemen have not had more than 2 days of success in repairs.

I thought the price was too high, and so did the owner. But since the technician had already installed it, I had no choice but to pay for it.
Later, I looked up the same thermostat on different sites and found it for $150. I called the company on the same day and expressed my concern. They said the office manager would call me back, but instead, the technician called me the next day. I told him that I needed to talk to the office manager, but he said he would have the manager call me as well. However, I haven't heard back from them yet, and I feel like they're not going to do anything about it.
I've been telling them from the beginning that the price was too high, but they installed it anyway. The technician didn't give me any paperwork to sign until after he had installed the thermostat. The billing invoice number is 91507. When the owner of the property was on the phone with the technician, he asked why the thermostat was $600 and said he wasn't going to pay that. But the technician had already installed it, so I had to pay for it.
Before the thermostat was installed, I expressed my concern about the price, but the technician said it was the cheapest one they had, and we needed it. I felt like I had no choice but to pay for it. I hope they can help me with this issue.
