Hi i used icici money to india service to transfer some money i made a transaction on 24/07/11 and have not received the money on the other end till now 08/08/2011 and i called 50 times and have send 20 emails but the only answer i get is “ Dont worry sir your amount will be transfered soon as they have just received a request " i am just fed up with this people will never use their service again .

In january 2011 i was approached by one mr.vijayraj shirivastva a senior employee of icici on phone and told that since i am alrady holding two icici investments viz icici pru lifetime super-policy no:-[protected] and icici life stage assure-policy no:-[protected], i could invest in a new policy-icici pru guaranteed savings insurance plan-policy no:-[protected] and i will get bonus dividents in cash upto rs 70, 00.00 against the policy already held by me, within three months of taking the policy.besides i was told that i will be required to pay a single/one time premium of rs.20, 000.00.so taking mr.shirivastva on word i purchased the above policy no:-[protected] in january 2011.since i was not in town when the policy was received, i could not avail of the free look period.now on detailed reading of the policy i understand that i have been cheated by icici as the premium has to be paid ever year for atleast seven(7) years and it is not one time as was informed by mr.shrivastva.besides i have not till date received any divident cheques as i was told by mr.shrivastva-mob.no.-[protected], ll-[protected].i am sure the company will clarify its action and also ask mr.shrivastva to explain.
The complaint was acknowledged by the ICICI prudential and the first premium paid by me was refunded.

Hi, Few days back, a rep from icici pru called and told that i can reinstate my lifestage pension policy as it is eventhough i had delayed the second premium for few years. He had promised that same exact policy would continue and with the same policy number even after i poked with several questions. He also told that 3 premiums(not 3 years) including the already paid premium is the only necessity to fulfill locking period. To my shock, during my conversation with the risk investigator, i heard that they're using my cheque for some other plan called Guaranteed savings. I had never heard about it until then and it apparently has an insurance portion also which i dont need as i had better ones. Also, i was completely not aware of the structure of Guaranteed savings. And the locking period is something like 7 years, which i am completely unhappy about. This pushed the trust limit. I cannot trust the words of reps anymore.

I am in receipt of your E-mail dated February 7th 2012 and will wish to ask you as to why ICICI is taking unilateral decision by:
1. Not allowing their own ICICI employees to receive and acknowledge the grievance letter hand carried by the customer to your office. This is just because a customer once trapped by ICICI is treated as an outsider and that too after the check gets honored and goes to ICICI account?
2. Why for so many months your representative R. K Singh (Mobile: [protected]) kept on keeping the customer in dark and why the second check Number 693217 (cleared on 06-07-2011) for Rs. 4188/- drawn on IDBI bank Account No: [protected] was again personally collected by R. K Singh if ICICI had any difficulty in getting the issue resolved?
3. Till the time Check was honored, everything was fine at ICICI end and as on date ICICI is not able to locate their own representative. This is what you said on phone.
4. Also it is not the question of ICICI digesting 29188/- of a customer, your business and professional ethics has a question mark now?
Don’t you consider above approach as unethical and unprofessional. And, even after that ICICI is trying to convince the customer that ICICI is correct and customer is wrong.
1. Above complaint letter dated January 28th 2012 was hand carried to your Noida office (Token No: 013) which was refused to be received and acknowledged by one of your ICICI representative Kunal Sharma, who pretended to be as acting Branch Manager in the absence of the real branch manager, who was not available till 11:30 AM in the morning. The plea given by Kunal Sharma was very simple that no one in ICICI is authorized to receive and acknowledge any document personally carried by any customer. This pretext is not understood since ICICI, when has its own interest deputes their representative from door to door to trap the customer and when the customer knocks the door of ICICI, is treated as outsider and made to move from pillar to post.
2. Check Number 649984 dated (cleared on 18-02-2011) for Rs. 25000/- drawn on IDBI bank Account No: [protected] was personally collected by R. K Singh (Mobile: [protected]), who pretended himself as ICICI Manager.
3. Other formalities like various test and examination was carried out at the specified lab located in Lajpat Nagar at New Delhi However, results were not made available by the lab to us. Immediately after the exam at the lab, this was communicated to R. K Singh.
4. After considerable time, ICICI issued a Check for Rs. 4188.00 with a pretext that some formalities were not completed at our end but not clarifying the details of pending formalities. Also I confirm that, neither the check, issued by ICICI, has been got encashed by me or going to encash the same at any point of time.
5. R. K Singh, when contacted, was absconding and not receiving the calls at his Mobile: [protected] however, one fine morning somehow, he was caught when he received a call from me, dialed from a different number altogether.
6. R. K Singh was then made aware of the above development by the time validity of Check, issued by ICICI got expired and another Check for the same value was personally got collected by R. K Singh to get the other formalities completed for issuance of policy.
7. On the same day, Check Number 693217 (cleared on 06-07-2011) for Rs. 4188/- drawn on IDBI bank Account No: [protected] was again personally collected by R. K Singh on the same day
8. Thereafter R. K Singh is again absconding and not receiving the calls at his Mobile: [protected] and looks like dead number
9. Call was received from Kavita Tandon on February 3rd 2012 afternoon and the concerns were explained to her regarding refusal of acknowledging the complaint letter hand carried on January 28th 2012 and unethical practices followed by ICICI Prudential both by Kunal Sharma and R. K Singh.
10. It has also been requested to her not to force a customer to get convinced to the unethical practices being adopted by ICICI Prudential.
In the light of the above facts, I shall again request you to refund me the total amount paid to ICICI amounting to 29188 (Rs. Twenty Nine Thousand One Hundred Eighty Eight only) with interest with no convincing reply to accept part payment or sign further document, if any, and close this on as is where is basis without further discussion in this matter on such unethical business practice.
Account Payee Check must be issued in the name of SADHNA KUMARI or may be got transferred directly to IDBI Bank Account No: Account No: [protected].
NOTE: In case ICICI has any reservation in paying the interest and amount incurred in follow-up and submitting complaint by speed post, I am ready to forgo under duress and you may just pay the principal amount and close the matter.

Ihave submitted my ICICI Prudential Top200 Fund Growth folio no 1204640/09 and the statement shows it is redeemed on 13/04/2011 and credited to my NRO SB A/C 2043 with Canara Bank, NRI Branch, Nariman point Mumbai. My question, whenever ICICI goes to bank to deposit the redumption cheque, that they could not deposit the amount with reply invalid account number - In that case, why they did not inform me through my investing agent?
The given account number with Canara Bank, NRI Branch, Nariman point, Mumbai branch was 2043. Later the account number was modified as [protected] - means nine digits were pre fixed. The account number is still 2043 but nine digits were pre fixed denoting branch code, area code etc. Even today I am issuing the cheque bearing number 2043 and still it is honoured. And even on 19/4/2011 I got my SBI Mutual Fund redeeemed to the same account, wehre I gave account number as 2043, I did not give the details of 13 digits mentioned above, [protected]) and the amount was credited without any hassle.
The strange thing is that, even after informing new account number ICICI did not take fast step in crediting the amount, instead they seem more interested in exchanging email and justifying their stand. May be this will give them more time to use my money without paying any interest. May be they are doing the same to many other customers, so that they get fund without any cost ( with the cost of others). Because, I have another experience with ICICI in this year april where I surrendered my Life insurance -life time super policy no [protected] and asked them to credit to my same account. They sent the redumption by cheque to their Kannur (kerala office) and it was liying there for months. I was waiting and after i came from my vacation after about 2 months, i enquired with ICICI and there were lot of email exchanges, i asked them, why i should proceed to consumer court to preserve my rights?, then they acted swiftly and sent my cheque to my in laws house by courier and i got my money, but it was too laborious and the settlement i got after about 2 months. So, do I need to invest more with ICICI? is ICICI a worth institution to invest without any head ache? Is there any forum that can help the investor, while this kind of problem is faced. Will ICICI compensate me for the delay? Is it not reasonable that ICICI compensate for the delay? Is ICICI have the practice of delayed payment as a non expressed policy? I compare the investor service available in Dubai in the international market for the products available here. The service is excellent, they care investors very much, they help, they guide, they assist - but I feel really ashamed that I feel ICICI standard is paar below compared to international level. Will it help in attracting funds from NRIs? I think they need at least another 10years to come upto the level.

All i can say, one who wants to go for insurance, should never consider for ICICI Prudential. They cheat their customer just like that.
I had taken a ULIP from them, for which i paid
premium for 3 years and then when i went to withdraw the money, they say the policy was cancelled three years back and they have sent a different policy, which i have never received. then they ask to get my policy document ( which they claim i have received it ) if i have to withdraw my money . They say i should get a duplicate one for which they charge me 200 Rs fine and also i should submit request in 200 Rs Stamp paper for which i have paid 500, coz its difficult to get stamp paper.
Can Any ask these people to stop fooling people.

My father bought a ICICI Pru Life Time Super - Maximizer (Growth) policy # [protected] on 28th Sep 2007. One fine day an executive named Rahul Arora ([protected]) called me from Delhi ICICI office and told me that if I buy a policy I would get the agent commission and bonus of about Rs.90000 of the policy will be transferred to my account since I was the nominee for my fathers policy. The amount was supposed to be credited to my (Vishal Mahajan's) account on April 10th 2011, on following up the executive Rahul Arora told it will be done by May 10th 2011 and then he stopped picking up the call. Then I got another call from Mumbai office claiming they are from IRDA office and told me that they have details of my policy and if I buy MaxNY policy then the amount the executive Rahul Arora had transferred to his agent code can be claimed back.
I want you to investigate the matter and refund me the money.

Yes, It is true the same has also happened with me. I was told by ICICI Delhi based brokers stating the official people of the co. My old policy which is going on for the last ten years if I want to surrender this policy I will get bonus plus agent commission for which I have to deposit Rs 15000/- for a period of 45 days and there-after old policy amount plus bonus plus agent commission plus my deposited amount will be credited in my ICICI account. Now on 7/10/2012 instead of getting all these benefits I got a new policy of Rs 1500/- per year for 15 years. I an over 63 years of age and is an ex-army pensioner how can I go with two policies. On lodging a complaint ICICI Mumbai office blaming me as to why fake calles were attended by me. How can I understand that people calling me and giving me my policy No and its amount (annual primium my cell phone No etc can be a fake caller. ICICI has contacted such people for getting the new policies and all this is known to them but now they are saying that policy cannot be cancelled and no amount is authorised to be refunded. Thus I have lost my one months Army pension which is my service reward. GOD will not excuse ICICI Co and one ay this co. will be in bad books of Indian people. Please suggest me as to how I can get my pension money refunded cheated by ICICI Co.

Fraud done by the ICICI bank by transfering Rs. 18, 294 on 12/06/2011.
As we got the call from the ICICI bank on 10/06/2011 and they said we have got the transaction from U.K and asked whether you want to maid this transaction successful or not on your card.we denied the transaction and said without our permission don't pass any transaction.
In the morning 12/06/2011 we received a message from a +[protected] for cancelling the credit card and we also want to cancel the card.at the same time we received a message from the above number in which our card number was written .At 2:34pm we received the call from the same number and he asked my father for the card number for cancellation and he gave the card number for cancellation.From the same number we got the call that we had cancelled your card and we will send you the cancellation 3D password via a message.we received a message from ICICI bank itself .After 5 mins they called us and asked the password and said that we will cancel your card.At 3:05pm the transaction was maid and we got the message in our inbox.At 3:11pm another transaction was maid and we got another message but we saw at 5:00pm.we called at ICICI bank for asking how the transaction was maid but they said don't worry we'll not going to maid any of the transaction successful and you don't have to pay a single amount.even they cancelled our card also.At 7:52pm we called again in ICICI bank and now they are saying that you have to pay all the money as the transaction was maid.

I recently opened an NRE (Non-Resident External) account with ICICI NRI Banking Services. I was surprised to see that, a private bank, which is hyped so much all around the financial news, has so poor IT systems and worst customer service. Initially, I visited their website and posted a query on the website and they later called me and were very cooperative in making me open an NRI Bank account. Once my application has been processed then the trouble started.
- First, I didn't get my login ID for internet banking. I had to call the customer service to find out what my login is.
- Second, I sent an email to a senior manager who was handling the NRI accounts. I got his email from the customer rep who was making me open the account. The manager's name is Muralidharan (muralidharan.[protected]@icicibank.com). I sent him an email explaining to him my situation that I haven't received my ATM card or login. No response at all.
- Third, during the account opening they said they would send a package full of details on what to do, how to access a login, procedures to change the password etc., But the package contained no such information. Not that these are complicated, but this is what caused the problem, as I will explain later.
- Fourth, every time I called the customer service, after entering the account information and other details, there came a customer rep. I won't deny the fact that they were very polite and patient. But their assistance was limited to that and nothing beyond. They keep asking me to call later saying that they are sorry and that their "IT systems" are down. Not once, not twice, but every time this is the reply I used to get. Sometimes, I used to wait for 10 minutes or so until their systems catches up with the request.
- Fifth: When I received the passwords in postal mail, I changed them and created my own password. Also, I changed my login name. But no body told me, either in the brochure or in the website, that if the user/login name is changed, the passwords should also be changed. After entering the new ID details, it takes me to a page to change the password. So, here are the two options that come up:

Does "Password given to you" mean ...is it the password sent by them via postal mail or the password I changed. Such basic mistakes! And after changing the passwords, when I clicked "enter" the page showed "error" message. I am not sure if my password changed or not.
- So obviously, when I attempted to login in again, after 3 attempts my login was disabled. Then starts the second phase of trouble. I call the customer service to place a request to enable my login. First call, the Customer Rep takes my request but not Service Request Number and nothing happens. After a week, I call again. This time, another Customer Rep says that I never placed any such request. He says that their records doesn't indicate any request from me. So, I place another request for enabling my login and get a service request number. My login gets enabled. But my password is still not working. So I call the customer service again - 3 times. Each time, they can't access my records as the systems are slow. Then, when they do, they ask me to go to the ICICI "Generate Password Online" option in the website.
I tell them that the I already tried the option and it asks specifically for a mobile number only (for India-based customers). Since I am in US, I couldn't use that option. Then they ask me to update my email on the profile so that the "email" option would come instead of "mobile number". My email address is already on the profile. They have been sending me statements and account information to my email id. Why the hell would it not be on the profile? So, I call again to update my email address in to the account. When the email option came, I gave my email address and the system says that the email address is invalid and that I should call the customer care. Since I tried that 3 times, even that option is disabled.
- Now comes the best part. I received a customer survey email which contained some links. I assumed that the links will take me to a page where there will be survey questions. But when I clicked on it, all I got was the message with this gist: "Thank you for participating in the survey. Your feedback us appreciated". The ICICI bank doesn't even have a proper feedback system to monitor its products. Unbelievable.
- Jeff Bazos of Amazon visits the Amazon.com website everyday... to buy a product...to check the user experience directly and to see what customers are facing. I wonder if Chanda Kochar (CEO) or K.V.Kamath (Chairman) are even remotely in touch with what the customers experience on a daily basis. They get these fancy titles and awards... but the reality is that they are not in touch with one. Go online and you will see many like me frustrated with ICICI Bank.
- I have a savings a/c in HSBC and its customer service is in India. Although the call waiting time is longer than ICICI, the service is fast and productive. So are the IT systems. I don't have to call again. Their calls have a "quality monitoring system". When I call HSBC, before the customer rep picks up, it says that "this call may be monitored for quality purposes". In over 20 calls to ICICI, not even once, they monitored the service quality of the person taking my call.
I have my own doubts about ICICI bank going global or becoming big... with non-working customer feedback system, dead-slow IT systems, poor customer service... you can take a guess where it will go.

The worst bank I have ever come across. Also fraudulent activity gooing on with regard to selling icici pru life insurance products. Money leaving your account to pay for policies and you dont receive any documents or even policy numbers to track the performance of products. My account has already been debited with Rupees 1lac and 51 thousand and I have not received any documents. The money taken out has been allocated to somebodys policy whom I do not even know and one who has a Mumbai address. I am a UK resident for over 40 yrs and why would I pay to cover insurance needs of somebody in India whom I dont even know?
Seeing these complaints, now iam afraid of opening a new account in ICICI bank. I dont see any positive reviews or any complaint users coming back and saying that the complaints are taken care. So bye bye ICICI

Be careful about ICICI, its run by some mafia leaders doing money laundry and drug dealings in India. If you transfer foreign currency with money2inida, they hold you money for months and will not respond to your emails or calls. Customer service guys don't even know where your money is gone. Do you know what they do with that money. Money laundry and funding some illegal activities.
I am not joking or kidding. thats what their main business. Banking is just a cover up. I am not sure why RBI is not investigating in to it.
Don't ever bank with ICICI, especially if you are NRI.
I agree with the complaint. ICICI is the horrible could find. Its a complete fraud bank, its a banking mofia, 15 years ago they used to send Gundas to collect credit card debt, there are cases of mis behaving with women by their GUNDAS, they did this RBI took some serious measures to stop it.
Now they continue to do all kinds fraud from holding accounts, holding NRI money transfers by not depositing to their accounts.
I my self had terrible experience with them, I had to transfer large amount of money to India, they held my money, did not respond to my emails, customer service talks as if they don't even see the transfer in their computer. It all looks like they intentionally do this to launder huge foreign deposits.
It took 2 months for me to get my money after so much fight and going through lot of tension. Customer service is worest, they don't understand simple English also. I still not sure what they did with my money for2 months, it could be that they used it to fund some terrorist activity or lended the money to some drug dealer
Don't use ICICI their business practices are questionable from very beginning.
This is not something happened to only me, most of my friends had the same experience.

I totally agree with the above customer. I was even suprised to see how bad the customer service is. I lived in US and Canada for 10 years and have a great banking relations with Bank of America, Bank of Montreal and TD bank. I such a huge difference to open an NRE account with ICICI bank. I had to call them 9 times and endedup getting the same email ID from the customer support: muralidharan.ra@icicibank.com This person suppose to be manager and never ever replies! Seriously? even for 4 emails over one month I never received a single resposne. You answered to the above complain saying that you wanted to ensure that such a lapses do not recur again. Even after 3 years it's the same problem and that person never changed. I endedup opening an account with CITI bank.
money strucked with icici
Hi Sir, I have sent money to ICICI through Money2inida. From forex bank i have deposited the amount to nordea bank (ICICI account number) by cash. Forex bank people missed tracking reference number. After that i sent all deposit slips and my details to ICICI bank. Forex bank people also sent mail to ICICI bank, this money deposted by this person only and they send some other scanned copies (Deposit slip, ref number) and trakcing reference number to ICICI. Even icici people are not accepting to transfer the money further . but icici confirmed we got money without trakcing reference.
If icici will return money that also not useful to me, because i have deposited by cash, forex not received that amount from nordea bank (nordea bank people confirmed, we are not return money to forex and we are not give money to person also)

I have been using ICICI money2India for 4/5 years and i trasferred some amount 2 weeks back and the request statsus is still "Request Received".when i wrote a amil to them they asked to send screen-shots and blah blan..i provided all the evidences what they asked and after that there is no mail from them..after sending out many reminder mails they dont even care to drop a single line mail stating what is going on.
Its really frustating..atleast they should care for their long-run exiting customers..if anyone has any info on how to escalate the issue to their higher management please let me know.

I am an ICICI bank customer at Patna for quite sometime. I am not sure, if only I am having this problem. For my SB a/c, the Bank used to send me one statement monthly/ trimonthly basis. After sometime, they stopped sending these without any notice. As, I was also out of Patna for about 3 yrs, I could not track it as such. Once these private banks do not give you Passbooks of your account, the only link is the statement sent, either physically, or thru' mails ! When I asked about it in a bnak branch, the lady at the counter had to say that she herself has not gt hr statement for yrs altogether ! Last week, when I sent an e-mail to their head office, they replied in 4 days ! again, after 3 days smone from bank called on my cell asking, for how many months I had not got the statement, How many times I had complained, !? they ask these silly questions to distract u ! I just told them I m going to close my a/c & that's all !

Much later, Suddenly, 16.3.2012, 20:20, I got an sms stating that my balance is Rs. -15289/- (I repeat, minus Fifteen thousand two hundred & eighty nine only) ! Now, the point is, they didn't send monthly statement. had they sent, I could know it beforehand, that I need to pay the fine in time. I did a Power transfer of 2000 CHF (approx INR 1 lac) through money2india. the money was debited from my bank acocunt in Switzerland (UBS) but not credited to my bank acocunt in India. On calling up their customer service umpteen no. of times and sending emails with proof of teh transaction, they claim that they are unable to trace the funds. Whom do I contact. My 2000 CHF have been wiped off. The customer service supervisor in India Aprana, Mohd Umar, PRashant and Vipin Kumar, none are of any help. In afct they ahve been very rude and uncoperative in this manner. Kidnly help at the earliest. If te amount cannot be trasnferred to India, can it be atleast credited back to my Swiss bank account.

On 25 Feb, 2011 fradulent transcation were made through my salary a/c no. ([protected]) which is with the ICICI bank (sector -61 noida branch). through customer care complaints were made to icici bank on the same date, complain No is [protected], i was received four sms regarding this fradulent transcation .Total 6000 Rs was debited .this amount paid to BSNL (Prepaid Mobile recharged), i lodged FIR at sector-60 police station .ICICI bank paritally followed up this matter, after 50 days compeletion, i went to ICIC branch with Police excutives then bank sais this transaction was done by you, i was shocked.till now no progress/feedback has been given by the bank rather it seems that transcation were made due to failure of ICICI bank online security system. now police asked about details of this transaction like
owener of PC, address and mobile number, address, person name who made this false transaction.
Bank slogen "SAFE BANKING WITH ICICI BANK" seems totaly false. i dont have trust on ICICI bank beacause in future same kind of transaction may be possible. Bank made me Victim, criminal person for this false transaction, ICICI bank insulted me.
As its already almost 3 months no positive response has been given and it seems to be financial and mental harrasement of me and the bank is least concerned about this, kindly take the necessary action to get back my hard earn money as soon as possible. Waiting for your reply.

Scenario: I was attended a off campus Interview on 17 Jan 2010 and got selected as Junior Officer in ICICI BANK PVT LTD, At the time of joining i dont know the hierarchy of ICICI BANK and i joined as Junior Officer bu after joining a came across to my senior and he told me that ICICI Bank recruiting candidate for My college as an Assistant Manager Level -1, after knowing these i asked my senior authority then they told me you apply for Grade Fitment in the organisation if your college affiliate to AM-1 level Grade.then i do the same and i raised an SR or complaint against the recruitment at junior Level. then they send a mail to me that my college course is not affiliate to ICICI Bank after search of six months they gave me result in November Month, then i was resigned from the organisation because i m Upset for that decision taken my HR Department.After few day i got the mail from my college regarding an opening in ICICI BAnk As Assistant Manager-1 level.then after i revert the mail my asking is it applicable for my course also then they replayed "yes".

I bought ICICI Lombard health insurance Rishtey for my parents after their salesman claimed that they provide quick service and refund.
1. ICICI Lombard doesnt inform about medical test costs over and above the policy cost when the customer is sold the policy.
2. Even after full payment for the policy and a month later, the online status shows that it is still awaiting underwriting approval.
3. The customer service on Live chat and the number provided on website is awful and doesnt respond at all.
4. I have even tried to cancel the policy but have been put on hold and called transferred from deptt. to deptt.
I stay in United Kingdom and its extremely difficult to manage this type of issue from overseas. I wish I had bought the health insurance policy from some other company and saved myself all this harrowing trouble.
