I have been cheated and misled to believe that i can claim medical bills against new policy of iciciprulife insurance company= wealth builder at the end of the year this was done by their staff mr vaibhav pisal and mr for - manager of vaibhav pisal. I had been misled and cheated by them for purchasing the said policy. Policy no [protected] and [protected] for self and my wife mrs madhuri raje. can't confirm a payee while travelling abroad
I have been a customer of ICICI bank for 10+ years and I am a privilege customer too. Recently, I have travelled to US and my India number is not working. I need to add a payee urgently to transfer some funds to India. I did the registration online and the ICICI bank website said I can call customer care to get the payee confirmed since I am travelling. But, I called NRI customer care and they gave me a number of India. I called India and I was told that this is not possible. I need to have the registered phone number to be able to do this. I spoke to the supervisor as but of no help. Surprisingly, I did the same thing last year when I was in Canada and it was a piece of cake. I was so full with appreciation of the bank services. But today, I am pretty disappointed. One thing I am not able to understand is that why can't I confirm a payee? Bank / customer care should authenticate with all the necessary information and can confirm the payee. Not sure why they refuse to do that. If they are afraid of fraud then how come they allow this in India. This is just poor thinking and capability to support global customers! No doubt they can't scale upto global banking standards...anyone listening?
non refund of a wrong transaction
i am a customer of ICICI Bank from 2007. there was no problem at all for all these years. but now, from march 2014, i have been running behind them for one of the txn. i made a transaction on 22/3/2014 towards Vodafone by mistake towards my Vodafone mobile number which was cancelled two years back through bill pay services for an amount of 6510.i called ICICI Bank on the next day and told about this. the customer care representative advised me to check with Vodafone so that they will reverse the amount. i contacted Vodafone and ran behind them almost two months and then they have credited the amount back on 16/5/2014. but immediately the same amount got debited back with the same transaction date of 22/3/2014. i reached Vodafone again and they have confirmed in the mail that they didn't debit it again and i need to contact ICICI. i reached ICICI and told the customer care agent about this and he gave me a complaint number SR324922248 and told that i will also get an sms of the same. but, i didn't get any such sms and i raised one more complaint online. they have closed the request without providing any solution and when i try to call them, they always put me on hold and disconnect after sometime. in short there are two debits in my account with the date 22/03/2014. one in my April, 2014 statement and one in June, 2014 statement. but only one credit on 16/5/2014 in my June month's statement. i need to get the amount credited back which is debited for the second time. i have been trying and fed with the customer care agents. i don't know whom to contact and how to resolve this. hope someone would read this and solve my issue.
can't get the urn
today, i wasted 3 precious hours of my life, on something that upon hearing will make you burst out in laughter. All i wanted was to add a payee so that i could transfer funds to him. Well, for some mysterious reasons, i wasn't getting the URN which is required to confirm the payee. Now, i called up the CC team three times, but all three attempts were futile and ended up giving me a bad day. All three agents seemed to be ill-informed as to what my problem was. They somehow were so superficial in their knowledge with respect to solving my issue. Even the so-called superiors didn't seem any more info than the junior staff. I took all remedial steps they asked me to follow, however, my issue remained unresolved. Now, after 3 hours, i am still sitting here writing this just to vent out for the trouble i had, and with an apprehension if my issue will ever be solved. I faced the issue the last year, exactly around the same month. I didn't know the problem is not just a time-bound, temporary glitch, but a more ingrained, major issue that will haunt me even after a year.

ICICI Prudential advisers LAL BAHADUR GUPTA and SAWAN TIWARI sold me a GSIP policy no [protected] of RS 50000/yr and promised a loan of Rs/- 1000000 against the policy in July 2013, that I was needed. Whenever I called him, they told me loaning will take time and you will get a call from loan department after your policy get confirmed. In Nov 2013, I received a mail about loan stating "You have applied for a loan in ICICI bank on behalf of a investment plan, loan amount is 1000000 and interest rate is 2% yearly. You have already paid 50000 and your due amount is 20000. Your loan will be sectioned with in 35 day after pay the due amount". I received a call from EKTA, representing her as a loan executive from ICIC bank, confirming the above statement. They sold me another policy no [protected] of RS 20000/yr. Finally, after 8 months, I came to know that they all have cheated me.

Cant add payee while abroad
I saw this complaint being filed earlier too, however no one seems to have done anything. I want to add payee in my account and I can not do anything. While I spoke to CC agent Ashish, he directed me towards mobile banking "change the phone number form and asked me courier it in Hyderabad. In other he is asking me to wait for another 15 days while I wait to complete my transaction. I do understand that there are security aspects to it, but at least there should be alternatives for genuine customer service.

forfeiture of my premium amount for mistake of the company
I have
taken a ICICI Pru Suraksha (RP) Policy
vide No [protected] during 2008 from ICICI Prudential Company. The annual premium was Rs. 50, 000.00 and the payment was made
through online money transfer. But
neither I have received the policy certificate nor any intimation from
the company. Normally, in case the
company do not accept the money, for any
reason whatsoever, the amount is returned back to the same account. I was posted in Vizag during that time and as
far as I remember the money was
transferred from SBH, Deepanjali Nagar, Dist. Vizag (AP). After few months I was transferred and posted by my
employer to Kayamkulam (Kerala)and I
have totally forgotten about the
transaction. Now few days back I got a call from Ms. Sonia Cheddar of ICICI Prudential that my annual subscriptions
from 2009 to 2013 is pending and they are going to foreclose the policy as I
have failed to pay the annual premium. She said that the details of my failure
and the action proposed to be taken would be given by Mr. Vick's, Relationship
Manager of ICICI Prudential and I have to talk to him.Accordingly, I have
talked to him on 19th and 21st March 2014. He informed me
that I have to pay Rs. 3.00 lakhs (Five years premium @ Rs. 50, 000 p.a. plus
penalty Rs. 50, 0000) to revive the policy. The second option is foreclosure of
policy which will entitle me to get 10% of the premium paid .I.E. Rs. 5000.00 and
they will retain Rs. 45, 000.00. The third option is converting into a single
premium policy for which I should have taken an insurance policy after 1st
Oct. 2013 either from them or from Reliance General Insurance Company, which I
don’t have. I am a retired employee and
I cannot pay this hefty amount so the option left is foreclosure loosing Rs.
45, 000.00 of my hard earned money. I
want to repeat during all these years till March 2014 at any time they have not
reminded me about the non payment and the most important matter is that they
have not sent the policy after receipt of the policy
My contention is for the mistake of ICICI prudential why
should I suffer. They have not given me the policy. They never remined during
the past 5 years that my premium is pending. All of a sudden they have come
with this plan. This is day light cheating and gives an impression that we
cannot believe ICICI prudential. I have never expected that a big nation wide
and renowed company will cheat customers like this.

euro rate while trasnferring money from abroad to indian saving account
On Monday(3 Feb 2014) I transferred some amount in Euro to my Indian saving bank account and it was deposited Yesterday(5 feb 2014) with a rate of 82.48 Rs per euro. But as per www.xe.com in this week euro rate was never dropped below 84 and to be precise yesterday it was between 84.5 to 84.46 Rs per euro. Can you please explain why there is gap of almost 2 Rs per euro for my transaction.

cheated and using my money
I have been cheated by icici bank and still not giving my money back. I send mail lots and called in call center. Hyderabad call center is rubbish and all are bunch of jokers, doesn't know how to talk, how to check system details, how to open FD. These common things doesn't know. Funny thing they were handling (cheating me) NRI EDGE account holder. I want some media help to open all this case. I want to check is there any law in India, if icici bank cheating NRI. Using money with out permission.

The ICICI bank online portal has lots of issues
1. Non functioning links - for e.g. IWish flexible RD, each time we try to click on this link and open an iwish account it gives a page cannot be displayed
2. When we try to schedule a call with the CSR, that page times out and does not allow you to schedule a call
3. When you try to write a complaint or give feedback the site is very cleverly designed that it make s the customer get frustrated and leave, without being able to find where to leave the feedback or write a complaint.
Eventhough they have some nice things, when in desperate need the site will let you down

transaction pending for long time
I am currently in Germany. I have intiated 6 requests for transferring money to India. In which 2 are already processed and 4 are pending for a long time. No proper response for any calls made to customer care and there is no response for any mails send to [protected]@icicibank.com. Now I am not quite sure where my money is withheld. I personally feel that customer service is worst in ICICI bank, there are responding to any of the customer queries on time.

personal loan - bouncing charges harrassment after 4 years of loan closing
My ICICI loan account no - LPCHE00008621148 - I got a call today (october 3rd, 2013) saying that i have to pay around Rs.6000+ for bouncing and other charges for the loan that was closed in 2009. They told that i have cleared all the EMI but there were bouncing and other charges which I need to pay now (after 4 years of closing the loan) and also they threatened me that if I dont pay the due charges, then they will Auto-debit from my ICICI saving bank account. I am really shocked to see how ICICIBANK is treating its customers in a very UNPROFESSIONAL manner and I told them that I dont owe any dues as i have paid the due charges as well when the last EMI was paid after waiver, and asked them to check properly, I also told that i will raise this issue in all consumer forums if any amount is auto-debited from my savings account now towards the due charges. I request through this forum to ICICI bank to revert and resolve the issue, as its completely unacceptable, failing which I will seek help from all to raise this issue in all forums. I wonder how Government is allowing such practices by banks to take customers for granted and harass them even after 4 years of loan closing.

I am writing after calling multiple times to ICICI NRI Phone banking service with no use. I did multiple transfers to my above nri account and recent transfer of $73000 USD was deposited on 7/16/13. I called ICICI NRI phone banking to find the conversion rate for wire transfer and the banking officer told it is Rs59.40/-.
But the conversion rate I received for the deposit for the same day (IST) is Rs57.96. I do understand that it is a indicative rate but the past 3 days during the transfer forex market does not show that much fluctuation. When argued the same she said that she will create a SR to match the conversion rate of Rs59.40/-
I call after 3 days only to find that there is no such SR created. This time I talk to supervisor and he ensured to create an SR. Again I followed up after 4 days to find that they agreed to only give extra 30 paise on conversion. But when asked I want to know what is the conversion rate range (like between 58.40 - 59.50) for that day he said that I have to email to [protected]@icicibank.com
When I email to [protected]@icicibank.com they said that they don't have information but provided links to get indicated rates.
In this whole process I feel I am cheated as a customer by not making my banking transactions transparant. I have more than 1 crore in deposits trusting this banking system and but could not get any banking officer who can talk numbers and tell why I got Rs1.44/- less in exchange rate that same day's wire transfer rate (loss of Rs 1, 05, 120/- on single transaction). I was expecting better rate for huge transfer amounts and I get way less and no one accepting it was miskate or atleast provide numbers justifying the low transfer rate I got.

I have triggered a transaction to convert 4800 GBP to INR using ICICI Money to India.
They were holding my money for 15 days and telling some stupid reasons they gave money back to my UK account after troubling me a lot.
My loan account in India was due and I couldn't pay that on time because of ICICI.
Because of all these troubles I have undergone, ICICI offered £ 50.00 and additional 20 paisa more on rate to me on my next transaction.
Later again I transferred 4800 and they converted with very less rate. Less than Rs 2.50 from XE rate. Moreover I have not got the £50 and the additional rate of 20 paisa.
They will put a good rate in the website to attract the customers, and when they do the conversion, they will reduce the rate in the site and will apply only that rate.
Do not trust ICICI. I have been using ICICI money to India in last 5 years and I had a big loss and will never use it again.
Only on my last transaction I lost Rs. 14300. Please can someone please advise, how I need to take this forward.

Hello All,
ICICI M2I account is harassing the customer, this is my second experience with them.
The transfer gets rejected stating the name in M2I and name from where fund came (local bank) does not match.
I just wanted to explain the big issue with M2I registration application, while registering it asks customer to enter
First Name, Middle Name (you wont be able to enter more than one middle name) and last name
I entered my full name as its with my local bank First Name Middle Names and Last Name
But the M2I consider only First Name and Last Name and does not take Middle Names into consideration
and when the money is transferred name in M2I and name from local bank will never match because of issue with M2I account.
When I talk to Customer Support team they ask me to send bank statement, screen shots, etc, even though its their mistake customer have to plead them and they will transfer the amount in 15-30 days keeping the money with them taking interest.
Due to the issue with their registration process the customer have to suffer.

I am fed up with ICICI services. I have been calling their customer care on [protected], every time Nikita answer my call but I am not getting any solution. On Monday 24-June-13 I have got call from Nimi but she didn't call back. I am helpless, nobody is helping me.
Earlier ICICI executives cheated me they sold me policy of Rs 40000 & 35000 and said I would be getting a loan of Rs 15lacs at rate of 8.5% for 20 years, and I can adjust my policy amount of Rs 75, 000 (40, 000+35, 000) against my Loan EMI without any paper work, without any cibil check, there would be only verification call which was done from ICICI loan department but I have not received my loan amount yet.
I called on 11-June-13 regarding the fraudulence for selling department customer care executives(sonal, anu, saumya, niharika, pooja). In march I have got a call from icici bank (+[protected]) sonal was there she told me bank have an offer if I buy a icici guaranteed savings plan I will get a loan she asked my requirement I said 15 lac's, she said for that I have buy this policy of 5% of my
loan amount which 75000. I have asked her many times regarding the assurance. she said you can also check in the bank, when I enquired about the same in ICICI Bank, Pune Camp branch they confirmed the same.
She used call me every day . She said once I will receive the policy letters I have
to inform bank so they will process my loan without guarantee as it's a loan
against security no documentation will be require for loan as soon as I will get my
policy letter within 35 working days my loan amount will be credited to my
account. I was having an requirement of loan, I have checked in ICICI pune camp
branch. Even they said the same thing that if I buy this guaranteed savings plan
so I am eligible to get loan against security without any documentation. Finally I
have agreed upon I have made 2 cheques pymt in favor of icici pru life insurance
one cheque was of 35000 and other was of 40000. On 29 April I have received both
my letters. I have informed sonal she said I am going to receive my cash max by
may 31 2013. But this was not done I called again regarding the same so Anu
answered my call she said sonal is not there she checked my status and said I will
receive cash on 5 June 2013. When I called on 5 June they were not at all replying
to my calls at the end she answer my call but there was a new girl niharika she
checked my status and said I would be getting my loan amount on 11 June 13. I have
confirmed my times she said 11 June is the date. Yesterday I called many times
they have not answer my call +91913669f514. I called on other number from which my
loan verification was done they while verification and selling of policy they have
told me duration of loan amt 15 lacs would be 20 years and rate of interest would
8.5% EMI7960 and I can adjust my 75000 Rs policy against my loan EMI's after 6
months from my loan. I have called on that number they assuring me that they will
pass on my message to Sonal, Anu but didn't did that (+[protected]). Its 12 June
now please help me when can I expect my loan amount.
I have called today and Shweta answered my call, she said my loan profile is
rejected she didn't gave me a reason why it was rejected. Earlier I have clearly
confirmed that there won't be any rejection, no cibil check or any other
verification would be done as its Loan against security. And they are saying if I
want to cancel this policy I can do that I will returns of 9.5% or else it will 90
days to re process my loan and for sure I would get my loan amount.
I have all the call recordings with me, I have sent recent 2 recordings for
their reference. but still they didn't turned up to me I called to enquire but these people are least bother about my query.
I was not at all expecting such things from ICICI bank, its big brands among all
the banks in India. Please help me out with this issue.

less interest on fixed deposits
I am a senior citizen and have submitted 15H forms to the Park Street Branch of Icici Branch and yet interest has been cut from my 3 fixed deposits. I have personally gone to the bank and spoken to the manager and he has not been able to give me a satisfactory answer as to why my interest has been reduced. I have spoken to their consumer care centre and the answer I was given is income tax has been cut. How can this be done when the 15H forms have been submitted and I have a signed receipted copy of the same. Please see what can be done.
