Identity Intelligence Group I've been using IdentityIQ to track the actions of a Collection Agency and it's really nice that each report is issued a legally binding number

I've been using IdentityIQ to track the actions of a Collection Agency and it's really nice that each report is issued a legally binding number to the report that can be referenced back by legal council if using them for the purposes of litigation, as I am.

Aside from some minor billing mix-ups that the company has fully responded to and corrected, I don't recommend another service.

For Credit Repair, you can attach your CreditVersio.com account right to your IdentityIQ account and it pulls your information right into the free CreditVersio.com Credit Repair software.

Using IdentityIQ and CreditVersio, I was able to target and sue 5 separate entities on an entry in my credit file and use the reports as legal evidence. The product is truly what they describe and more.

Thank you, Daniel,
Jonathan R

This company has the WORST cancellation dark pattern I've ever encountered. If you sign up for this expect it to be a complete headache to cancel your service. You CANNOT cancel online, forcing you to call in (which is extremely inconvenient for any person working non-traditional hours) and when you do call in they throw you through this awful salesman ringer loop for like ten minutes trying to get you to keep your service or downgrade to a slightly cheaper plan. Just get your credit reports free or choose a different website. This is horrible and not acceptable in 2023. It should be one big button that says "CANCEL" and you click on it and you cancel. If a rep responds to this and says you can cancel from your profile page that is UNTRUE for me at least, which is completely unnecessary as I pay with a credit card for an online service, it's literally just like Netflix but for some reason you have to call in. What's next? You want me to fax my social security number?

Identity Intelligence Group This company continues to find a way to steal my debit card information

This company continues to find a way to steal my debit card information. I called to cancel membership January , the rep confirmed cancellation, also I had to cancel my card due to fraudulent charges from a different merchant. I canceled 3 debit cards since February , and I never logged into identityiq since January, but how is it that this company is able to steal my new debit card information without me ever giving it to them? I never gave them my new card information but some how they are stealing it and putting it into their database as if I put it in there. I am reporting them to the attorney general and FTC as well as CFPB because of this mind blowing activity. The only way Identityiq employees can do this is by using the dark web or hacking my identity. This will likely have to go to federal court.

I don't know if this is scam, but it sure felt like it. I found out about this company after signing up for credit repair through a company named Kees To Success. They needed my login information and that brought about a red flag. I told Kees To Success I am no longer interested in pursuing. Logged into the IdentityIQ website immediately to cancel the membership and saw that there was no option for subscription cancellation on the website. I called and was able to get the membership cancelled, however, the gentleman tried to upsell me. LOL...really Anyway, I was able to get the subscription cancelled over the phone and received a cancellation email. I work for a consumer/product liability law firm and will be filing a complaint on both Kees To Success and IdentityID.

Never heard of this company and never signed up for their subscription service. I have been charged 200 dollars in total over the past year from them. I've already notified my bank and disputed every single unauthorized charge. How you guys are still in business with these shady practices are beyond me. Horrible fraudulent company.

Identityiq will not answer the phone to cancel your subscription. I've tried for 3 months to cancel and still get charged each month! Complete fraud

Identity Intelligence Group This is a complete scam

This is a complete scam. They use fake ads for rentals to deceptively sign you up to the credit checking. BEWARE. Do not use this service, I feel very naive for falling for it. If someone is sending you a link to check your credit score, do not bother. When I signed up through their link, it was called Rocket Credit Scores powered by Identity IQ and the website seemed very legit. I even checked the credentials of it. But I was very wrong. I will be taking the steps to protect myself immediately due to sharing sensitive information and will be treating this as a scamming/fraudulent situation, meaning it'll be reported to FTC, SSA, and I will be filing a police report. I will find every way to report this company and do it. I hope others do not fall victim to this. This is cruel and this "company" should be absolutely destroyed.

They tried to take out 39.99 from my Bank account. Luckily my Bank caught it. I was applying for a loan and agreed to the $1.00 fee to check the account. I never authorized two separate payments from two separate companies.

Identity Intelligence Group Had signed up for this through someone I was looking to rent from

Had signed up for this through someone I was looking to rent from. They said they needed my credit history. Fair enough. Subscribed and paid the $1 and wanted to cancel. Look on the website and there is no place to cancel online. You have to call a number. So I called. Was on hold for 10 minutes just to receive a message that they have technical difficulties and can't assist me at this time. I have NEVER had this experience with a reputable company ever. So I had to cancel my bank card. If I somehow get charges on my new card like other people are saying here I will be reporting this and filing any claims I can. This is clearly a scam. You need to have it easy and accessable for consumers to cancel a subscription, if not you're clearly just trying to make it difficult for them so they hopefully forget about the reoccurring charges on their cards. Disgusting. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

I didn't read the fine print on the email after I got the $1.00 credit check from "Rocket Mortgage, powered by IdentityIQ". I didn't know I was automatically signed up for an exorbitant 34.95/month identity protection. They refused to refund my money. The refused to stop my subscription and prorate the "membership fee ". This is an unscrupulous business model and should have a "D-minus" or "F" rating from the Complaintsboard.com. Best regards, David Knell

Identity Intelligence Group I was forced to sign up for this service when I was trying to get a loan for my bills because I can't pay them

I was forced to sign up for this service when I was trying to get a loan for my bills because I can't pay them. It was a $1 for 7 day free trial. I signed up on January 21st so my seven days ended on the 28th they immediately tried to withdraw the $35.90 from the debit card I used couldn't get it because I didn't have any money on it I didn't think they would try again considering I was so poor I didn't have it the first time they tried then when I got paid on the 1st they they tried again and left me with $4.95 to buy groceries with when I called them they refused to refund my money even though I canceled my membership the first so now I canceled my membership so I no longer have the service for the month of February but I get to pay for it and not eat so now I have nothing good to say about them I'm sure they're good at what they do but that was pretty *** what they did to me I think and I'm not joking when I said I have $4.95 to eat for a week thanks identity IQ

Identity Intelligence Group This morning I had to pay a bill, and my payment was declined

This morning I had to pay a bill, and my payment was declined. I looked on my bank account and saw a charge from this company for $35.90. I called the customer service number to get a refund and any accounts I had under this company. I explained to the representative that I didn't remember having signed up for this service by this company. Her name was Mary Ann. She had informed me that I had been on a 7-day trial and that if I didn't call to cancel within that timeframe, that I would be charged the $35.90. As I stated, I didn't remember signing up for this service, so how could I have called within that timeframe to cancel? I told Mary Ann that now I was in negative balance on my account and I'll incur overdraft fees. She wasn't sympathetic at all and just told me that my account was cancelled and I won't receive any more charges. All I wanted was my refund for this "purchase". I hope they do right by me and reach out to resolve this matter. All companies do nowadays is steal your money and refuse to give it back to you.

Identity Intelligence Group 1/31/2023 To whom it may concern

1/31/2023 To whom it may concern. On this date was the third attempt to open a Bank Account under my name in a matter of days. I was sitting working and receive an alert from Identity IQ of an unknown bank, which was not in my area. Identity IQ was able to provide the Banking industry on the alert. So, I decided to contact Identity IQ along with the Bank that received the inquiry. After being on the phone for over an hour, I was able to learn so much information in reference to identity fraud. I was given so many options from the Representative and I was able to contact the three Credit Bureaus on this matter. I was presented with several option to protect my identity where I enroll with all the preventive options for Identity theft, which was completed over the entire hour and half. What the representative has given me. He displayed exceptional skills on my behalf and shown great dedication toward my issues. Along with given me confidence with the process. His skills and knowledge he provided makes him a valuable contributor to his organization.

Identity Intelligence Group I never agreed or signed up for a subscription

I never agreed or signed up for a subscription. They have no way of canceling said bogus subscription on there website and they can send you person info thru email but they won't let you cancel said bogus subscription thru email come on really. They force you to call them Monday thru Friday at certain time which is conveniently when myself and 90 percent of the population is working so don't really have time to call and cancel something I never agreed to in the first place. I can only imagine it's going to be next to impossible to get someone on the phone let alone cancel said bogus subscription probably going to take hours while I'm at work. If this doesn't reek of bs scamming money grab bogus horse manure criminals I don't know what is this company is just bs should be forced to pay back all the bogus subscription money grab they have taken of the people and either change brought up on charges or shut down reading and few others complaints and looks like about the same thing over and over how much is enough.

Thank you for your time,
Sincerely

I noticed the company Identity IQ charge on my credit card and had no idea who they were. I figured they were some scam company so I called my credit card company and they took care of it ASAP and issued me a new card. A few months latter I found Identity IQ charged my new card again for months. Again, I called my credit card company and they again cancelled my card and issued me a new one. After a few month I saw the charges again from Identity IQ and they also charged my card two times in one month. So my credit card company gave me the Identity IQ info and phone number. Identity IQ is an identity theft protection and credit monitoring service. After numerous tries I finally got a person on the phone. Come to find out someone fraudulently used my credit card to enroll in their service. Not even close to the same name as me. My question is, how can they be an identity theft protection company when someone used my credit card fraudulently to become a member? Let me give you a little advice. Maybe you should first start with checking your new customers for credit card theft and fraud.

First of all, some of the information about me was so far in the past nothing pertained even close to my current even recent past situation, employment, address and had my dads name listed as a name I also go by. (we share first and last name but different middle names) That right there says to me that I cant rely on the credit score that they determine for me. So of course I dont want to pay for a monthly subscription to a company who has outdated and incorrect personal info about me. So the final problem and hopefully does not become more problematic is to cancel my trial subscription so I am not charged the monthly fee the deadline is the 27th of December which is a Sunday and their hours of operation do not include Sundays and the only way to cancel is by calling by phone during hours of operation. That is screwed. It feels like that glitch is overlooked intentionally to benefit their profit. Most legitimate trial periods can be cancelled by using automated 24 hour access by phone or even on the company web page. All around not helpful or user friendly and not even accurate info on me. I do not trust the way they operate.

Identity Intelligence Group This is a SCAM company

This is a SCAM company. I paid for a few months in a row. I wanted to cancel BUT you can't cancel online. You must call them to cancel which is a huge inconvenience so I just ordered a new debit card from my bank thinking it was finally over. 2 months in a row I received no charge and then all of the sudden this SCAM Company Fraudulently charged my account for 2 months. I don't know how this thieving company even got my new card number but they did. This time I made the call to cancel with them, at which time they read a script of "scare tactics" and tried to upsale me and then kept offering more and more plans. At this point I am supposed to receive a refund and I was told I am finally cancelled. I am NOT so sure of the cancellation because as I am typing this review I received an email notifying me of my FREE monthly monitoring, which I do NOT want. Stay away from this company of thieves, liars and scammers. Do NOT get caught in their web. I will be reporting this company to Attorney General and FTC. If you are doing the same... the name of their company is Corsair Capital... that's not certain... this too may be fraudulent.

Identity Intelligence Group Today I noticed two charges of 29.99 taken from my bank account from this company

Today I noticed two charges of 29.99 taken from my bank account from this company. I have never heard of this company nor have I authorize them to take any kind of money out of my checking account. Upon further investigation I called and spoke with a representative who informed me of a person who was using my debit card number who again I have never heard of. I asked for this person's phone number so I can report this to the police as fraudulent activity, and was told that they are not allowed to do that. So I told the woman let me get this straight, you're allowed to fraudulently take money out of my account but not allowed to give me the phone number of the person that was fraudulently using my account. For some reason this makes no sense to me. Even though I was told I would get a refund I think this is absolutely ridiculous of a company not to allow the consumer whose debit card is being used in a fraudulent way to obtain the information necessary to make a police report.j but this is supposed to be an identity theft company? It makes no sense to me how this company is supposed to be watching out for identity theft when it allowed it to take place in my case. I'll actually paid for a service that I didn't know I paid for, that they are supposed to be watching out for identity theft when my identity was stolen, how crazy! I'd say their company is not really reliable!

Identity Intelligence Group They call themselves credit protection when an account was created under my name which I never set up or had any knowledge of it

They call themselves credit protection when an account was created under my name which I never set up or had any knowledge of it. When I called inquirying about this account because I noticed withdrawals from my bank account. The customer service lady was rude and no help, while I was trying to explain to her she never asked me to hold so I basically was talking to myself until I heard the music playing in the background. Kim came on the phone and said she was the supervisor, after a couple of times asking her what her last name was, she never wanted to tell me, all she kept on saying was "its Kim" Kim was just as bad as her customers service she was no help at all nor did she care what I had to say regarding an account that was never set up by me. Alerts we're being sent somewhere because I clearly wasn't getting them nor was I getting any emails. Kim told me that she couldn't refund me my money for services that I never started nor used. So if your opening up an account for credit protection beware because I never set up this account and alerts we're being sent out and emails which I was never getting. Look elsewhere because this is not obviously credit protection and they will take your money. I had to call my bank to file fraudulent charges to be able to get my money back. Kim the supervisor that never wanted to give me her last name for what ever reason was very disrespectful and rude which explains why her customer service staff is just as bad as her. Kim would lead as example to her staff. I can't say much about what this company offers as a company since I didn't set this account up but my experience with the two individuals representing the company they work for was HORRIBLE

Identity Intelligence Group We received a Past Due Notice mailed to our home address to learn that someone is using our identity to open account at myScoreIQ

We received a Past Due Notice mailed to our home address to learn that someone is using our identity to open account at myScoreIQ. We called the customer service (# listed on the letter) and asked about this account. First, we talked to Joshlyn and explained to her that we had our identity stolen and someone must have used our information to set up the account with myScoreIQ. We asked what types service is myScoreIQ provided to understand why the fraudster set up the account. We learned that myScoreIQ provided their members with credit reports and credit scores from 3 major credit bureaus on a monthly basis. We asked how can that happened when we had credit freeze on our credit reports. She told us that the member sign up and go to them to obtain the credit reports and credit scores by paying a monthly membership fee of $34.99. We let Joshlyn knows that if we did not received the Past Due Notice in the mail, we would have no clue that the account was opened in our name and that we are victim of identity theft. She asked if she can transferred us to her manager/supervisor. We waited on the line and a lady named Kim came on to speak to us. She was very unfriendly and rude. We explained to her what happened, but she seemed like she didn't care. She repeatedly asking if we wanted to keep the account for the initial trial period of $4.99 for the first month. She asked us multiple times if we want to keep the account despite we telling her that the account was not opened by us. She went on and told us about the benefits of the account. She refused to listen to us as we explained that someone is using our identity to set up the account. After we consistently said no to maintain the account, she asked if we want to close it, we said yes and she hung up on us. We tried to file a complaint at Complaintsboard.com, but the business name does not come up. We don't know what types of information that they required to set up the account, but terrify by the information that they provided to the fraudsters. If we did not received the Past Due Notice, we didn't even know that this business has the ability to provide credit reports and credit scores to anybody regardless if the individual receiving the information is the actual person whom the information belongs to.

It's frustrating when companies intentionally try to make the subscription cancellation process inconvenient for members, in hopes that the consumer delays it and likely forgets to cancel until the next charge appears on their account. We live in a day and age where almost every subscription can be cancelled online or at the very least via email.

On May 21st I was billed, which was the same day I was calculating my monthly budget and I realized I no longer need this service. So I logged on the website, not to request a refund but to try and cancel. I was disappointed to see that they don't allow you to cancel it online nor do they let you email. You have to call during business hours. Which we all know is totally on purpose for at least 2 reasons I can think of:

1) Not everyone has the luxury to call during business hours and will have to remember to do it on their breaks. Fortunately for me, that is not the case but I remember those days and I am sure millions of other clients are in this situation.
2) When you finally get through, they try to convince you to stay in multiple ways. They tell you all the benefits you will lose, then offer a lower subscription fee and at the very end, an even lower fee you hopefully can't resist. Why can't I get that low fee from the beginning?

The reason however I am taking the additional extra time to write this review (outside of just getting off the phone with their rep) is because I am being billed for a service that I am not able to fully take advantage of. So I am sort of being "penalized" for cancelling.

As I was billed today (May 21st), logically I should have access to all of the "benefits" that come with this charge for at least the month ahead, correct? Wrong.

Since I am cancelling today, I will lose access to the latest credit report which happens to be available on May 28th. So the rep suggested to keep the plan and just call back after the 28th to cancel. This is obviously a tactic and they are banking on me to forget to call back.

Why wouldn't I have access to the most up to date report that is still within the time frame of what my subscription fee already paid for?

It's because this company is not interested in a mutually beneficial way to do business. If that were the case, they would either allow me to keep the full benefits of what I was already billed for or provide a refund. They are not willing to do either.

I'm sure not everybody thinks like me but due to this experience, I would not return as a customer, should I decide to resubscribe. I'm sure this company doesn't care too much about it, since their tactics are probably providing enough revenue for them to continue. However, whoever is doing their due diligence before subscribing - this is for you.

In the future I will have to do my due diligence before I subscribe and make sure the company values my business and provide the services I already paid for.

i tried to cancel this since i did not order. we live off social security and cannot afford 34.99 a month. this company was very rude and i am still being charged. I am legally blind and couldn't understand what this was. It was done about 4 months ago. My wife called to cancel the first month we was charged. She explained my situation and they refused to cancel.

She has looked online to investigate but we can't figure it out. We don't use the service.

Desired outcome: cancell so my bank is not over drawn again. A refund would be nice and the bank overdraft but cancelling it would suffice

Identity Intelligence Group Identity IQ subscription

I just noticed today, as my checking account was overdrawn, that I had a charge from identity IQ for 29.99 that I NEVER signed up for! I have no idea of what this company even is, let alone signed up for. I locked my debit card after this, it's Sunday so I can't call customer service. This must be a scam! I really need my money back, I'm overdrawn! I'm dealing with covid right now and I don't need this added stress. Very frustrating!

Desired outcome: Refund my money!!!

Identity Intelligence Group I don't even know!

On August 5th, t a time i am unaware of, I was charged $34.99 by this company and have never even heard of them before! The only reason I was even aware of the charge is because I was reviewing my bank statement and found the unusual name on my statement and did not recognize it.

Desired outcome: I would like a complete credit issued to my account related to the fact that I never agreed to pay them a dime and don't even know what kind of service they provide!!

Identity Intelligence Group Unauthorized charges

I have been charged twice, in one day July 21, 2023 $9.99 and$9.99 for a service I know nothing about. I did not authorize such charges nor do I even know who or what this company is. I NEVER provided my credit card information to this company, nor did I purchase or request any products or services from this company. I am a victim of fraud from this company and I want my money placed back on my credit card immediately and any "subscriptions" cancelled as well as my credit card information removed! If my money is not credited back to my card I will be pursuing further criminal charges.

Desired outcome: Please refund my money immediately

Identity Intelligence Group I had called to close my account with them in June because I did not want to get charged anymore

I had called to close my account with them in June because I did not want to get charged anymore. They said that I had already been charged so I would have to keep it that month and then it would be canceled the next month. I did not realize that I had been charged for the next three months. I looked today and I was charged again. I called and they said that yes I did call back in June but I had decided to keep the services and if I wanted to cancel I would have had to call back before the next month and since I didn't do that I decided to keep the services. I said I was never told that. She put me on hold and said that she could give me a one-time refund and they never do that. I said okay. I said was it for the 3 months? She said no it was just for one month. I said I was not happy with that since I was not aware that *Ineeded to call back to cancel because that was never stated to me. She stated since I used the services in July and August and now in September. But there is no way to get to your account without looking at your scores. So I did not pull my credit I was just trying to figure out how to cancel my account. I also told them they should have an automatic system in place to cancel accounts because it seems to me that it preys on customers to get them to pay more money.

This mishap is a lot of wasted time trying to reach this business to a live person to talk to. In the event I requested for a personal loan to be sent to this page to fill out a credit report for 1 dollar to obtain my score. I never ask for a membership to process such request to protect my identity at all. Since this error my bank informed me of the attempts made to withdraw money. I tried to call your put on hold for 20 minutes or longer. My call transfers to a voice mail. No response in a period of two weeks now. I try to log in my account is locked out. The number printed on this form is to follow up on to reach support is no response. Could someone look into this matter is annoying.

Okay so I decide to check my bank balance on a whip to make sure I have enough money left for the rest of the week when I get a $35 charge from a company that I havent heard of ever, and then when I do some digging, turns out I didnt really have a real account, they just had my information, and the I had to reset my password which I dont believe existed, for to my login. Which, by the way, I have never logged into before. My user is also suspicious because it was my email, which is something that I would never do. They also had to me enter the last four digits of my social a bunch of times to prove my identity which was unsettling. But long story short, this company charged me $35 for a subscription I had never signed up for. And they somehow had my data. I want a full refund at least for this experience, and awful invasion of privacy. Im extremely unhappy with them right now. This is the last thing that I needed/wanted.

I noticed a collection account on my credit report for 85 dollars and called the number provided to pay the whole amount in an effort to remove it from my credit report. I spoke to someone from Identity IQ who stated they would need to charge me a dollar to pull my credit report and I gave them my credit card info to do that. The person went on to say their company helped remove collections from customers credit report and told me there was a fee to do that and told me not to pay the past due amount due to the fact it would stay on my credit report whether I paid it or not. The person continued to try to offer me their services in which I applied I wasnt looking for any type of services and that I just wanted to take care of the 85 dollar balance. Again he attempted to offer services and at that point I hung up the phone and never agreed to anything. When I received my credit card statement I noticed a charge of $19.99 in which I never agreed to. I have since called them to cancel a service in which I never agreed to in the first place. I believe this company uses shady tactics in an effort to mislead people in order to gain their credit card numbers and make fraudulent charges for services not rendered.

On November 19, I was asked to provide a credit score for myself and my fiance through IdentityIQ in order to complete an application for the rental of a house. I did so using the 7-day trial, as I had no desire to continue using their services after the seven day trial. When the 7 days were up, I went to cancel my account, and even though the IdentityIQ welcome email had said "You can cancel by calling Customer Service or, when available, clicking the cancel button found on the member website" I could find no "cancel button" whatsoever and was charged $29.99 for myself and the same amount for my fiance. I planned on calling to cancel, but forgot until I got more charges in addition to the first ones, now for the month of December. I called and tried to obtain a refund, explaining what happened, and was refused on the grounds that their welcome email states that you have to call to cancel, and I didn't call in time. This is absurd! How about having a more transparent business where you can easily find a "cancel button" that you ALSO mention in your welcome email? This is just an easy way to steal people's money. My Account ID number is XXXXXXXXXXXXXX, and my fiance's is XXXXXXXXXXXXXX. I paid for both accounts and I request that the entire amount be refunded to me for both accounts: $29.99 + $29.99 + $29.99 + $29.99 = $119.96.

This company is robbing people; everyone please double check your accounts. These people charged my account on the 16th, the 18th twice, and the 19th for a monthly service fee. The problem is I only have one account with them. Then, when I question them and they find my card attached to someone else's account, they act clueless as if they can't refund my money or remove my card from their system. If I'm paying you to monitor my identity and you are the ones tampering with my account, that's a serious issue, and it's even for someone else's benefit. Then there's the supervisor, who is dishonest. She has a work number or an employee ID number, but instead, she gave me her extension so I can call her back to lodge a complaint directly to her! It's impossible to get help, protection, or just plain old honesty. However, if there's a class action lawsuit, I'm definitely in agreement to stand against these practices. This particular supervisor works at the specified location.

Identity Intelligence Group Since July this business has been taking money out of my account but has never provided me with a service

Since July this business has been taking money out of my account but has never provided me with a service. Today I see a $19.99 charge on my account and I do not have a subscription with this business. I was looking for help with co-signing services in July that I no longer need and I was told by Co-sign Partners to sign up for this service. The worker never said there would be a monthly charge in the message. All they took initially was a $1 charge for authorization IN THE EVENT I decided to pursuer and use services. I have never been provided any services or merchandise from either of these businesses and I feel as if my information was used for this fake subscription. I would like to be refunded for the full 5 months that I have been inaccurately charged for services. I attempted to call the business this morning when I noticed the awkward charge and they claimed to be closed to observe the holiday. Today 12/23/2022 is not a holiday so I have reasonable doubt to believe that they are dodging phone calls to avoid answering to more claims. I have included images of my banking statements where the charge was harder to notice versus today when my account was much lower. And I have included the email from the co-signing business where no monthly charges were mentioned. Ill even included the text message I sent to the alleged worker and they never responded.

In July 2022, we began to see a monthly charge of $34.99 from Identity Protection on our bank account. We did not know what the charge was for. Last year we found Identity Protection's number on the internet and called to find out what the charge was for and who had authorized it. They were not able to explain to us what the charge was for or the reason for the monthly charge. So it sounded like a scam. We asked for a refund. We didn't hear anything after that from the company, so we called again. The person who answered the phone said he could see a record that we had called with the complaint, and would "look into it." There was never any follow-up from the company. Zero. We are now trying again. Maybe the third time is the charm. We think it is only fair that the company should cancel the monthly charge. And they should reimburse us for what we have been charged. I think what we are requesting is reasonable. This appears to be some sort of scam. My wife and I are retired, living on a fixed income, and have to watch our expenses carefully given our limited resources. Thanking you in advance for assisting us with this situation. Thank you.

I have been trying to cancel my membership for the last 72 hours with this company. However, the company's phone systems either are fake or the company makes it difficult for people to cancel their memberships so they can continue to get the payments. There is a message on their phone tree that asks if you want to be put in a callback queue with your current place in line. BUT, you never receive a callback, as again, I have been trying to cancel my account for the last 72 hours (3 days).I no longer require their services and want my account closed by week's end.

I have multiple charge of $19.99 since 12/20/22. 3 to be extract. I have never heard of this company, I never signed up for anything, I never authorized them to access my account. Im very worried my identity has been hacked as I dont sign up for anything really. I have another charge of $19.99 today 1/13/23. I have been inconvenienced and cancelled several cards multiple times. When you call them they ask questions to prove identity and I dont trust them as they have taken my money against my will. Id like a full refund and for them to cancel this false subscription and never touch my account again.

My membership was ended and it was spontaneously reinstated. I was billed for three payments out of nowhere so I changed the card number on file.Somehow the other card number is back. I called customer service for my money to be refunded and didnt receive a call back until almost 9pm when I was at the gym and they were closed so I wasnt able to call back.I want both of the payments taken out of my account in January returned. I should not be charged for a service that I didnt have, couldnt log into, couldnt use, because it was closed. This is fraud. And the account information (after it was spontaneously reopened) on their website stated this!

Identity Intelligence Group Identity IQ is a fraudulent company that offers no services and makes it impossible for customers to cancel

Identity IQ is a fraudulent company that offers no services and makes it impossible for customers to cancel. The only way to cancel is to call their customer service line, but every day you call, it is a holiday or for some reason, outside of business hours, even though they advertise their business hours as M-F 7 am to 7 pm. I have called every day of the week for the past twelve months to try to cancel. I have also emailed monthly for over a year, just to get an automatic reply stating that they do not check their email inbox. Meanwhile, this racketeering enterprise has charged me $26.99 per month. When I try to login to my "account," it says that there is no account associated with my name. Identity IQ, therefore, is engaging in grand theft against unsuspecting customers every day. By making it impossible for customers to cancel this service, they are getting away with highway robbery. I cannot even get ahold of one employee at this illegal business. I had to go to linkedin to try to find employees to contact to assist me with cancelling. Please intervene to protect consumers from these unfair and fraudulent business practices. I have called this company over 50 times over the past year, and not once, have my calls ever been returned. It is no surprise because they do not have a voicemail. They charge you money and then disappear. It is wrong. It is unlawful. and it must be stopped. Thank you in advance.

To Whom it may concern: my card was charged unauthorized three times from the Company name, Identity IQ without my permission, I spoke to a representative last month, December 2022 and told him, I will resubscribe when I was ready, and it was still charged unauthorized THREE times January 2023.I spoke to a representative, January 3, 2023, ***, in regards and he completely disregarded my issue and decided to offer me more services and suggested I call back to upgrade February 2023. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and he said he was a supervisor, so I requested his boss. He places me on hold, the call disconnects, and he calls back stating he will issue back THREE refunds and cancel the subscription as a courtesy. After giving me the run around and HORRIBLE customer service, I am very disappointed and upset, I've been a solid customer for about 2 years.I am awaiting the refunds, in the amount of $80.97 ($26.99 x 3). And I am requesting billing statements from December - current. Thank you!

I wasnt informed of this business receiving my personal information, including my social security, my debit card info, as well as my name. This business performed an unauthorized transaction and has failed to ALLOW me to contact them to correct it, ultimately over drafting my account in times of a familial emergency. This has caused a large financial strain on my end and Im at a loss on what else can be done.

Identity Intelligence Group On 3/30 I placed an order with IdentityIQ, at that time the transaction went through w/o giving me the 7-day trial

On 3/30 I placed an order with IdentityIQ, at that time the transaction went through w/o giving me the 7-day trial. I called the company & the young lady informed me that they didn't offer that anymore, at that time she offered me the $9.99 plan, which I wasn't so sure about. A friend of mine had already told me that he got the 7-day trial, so I called the company the next day & cancelled my acct. This was 4/1 (only 1 day of service) I spoke to Jim, he said that since my acct was cancelled, there's no way that he can re-do anything. He would put in for a FULL REFUND, which is what I requested. I never received anything, so on 4/1 my bank gave me a temporary $20 until the IQ people gave me the refund. Well, after waiting for them, my bank took the $20 back, I called the IQ folks & they kept telling me that they sent a FULL REFUND back to my bank. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to recognize funds in your acct., the problem is, they NEVER sent it. I think one of their agents said that they did & the rest of them just keeps repeating that. I spoke to several Supervisors, at least they say that they were & still no refund. My last attempt was on 5/19, I called my bank & did a 3-way with Josie & they told her that we NEVER received a refund. STOP SCAMMING FOLKS! YOU OWE ME $29.99, PASS IT OVER, SO I CAN MOVE ON, THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Product_Or_Service: credit protection Account_Number:

Identity Intelligence Group Over charged, refused to give refund, then continue to charge after i cancelled

Over charged, refused to give refund, then continue to charge after i cancelled. From March to November I was charged twice for my membership. Everytime i called to inquire about it they advised it was either because my card declined or i was paying for another membership (a membership me or the other person didn't authorize to put on the same account). I finally had enough and demanded a refund and to cancel my service in which they replied they don't give refunds but will cancel the service.. i agreed and let my bank handle the situation. Now it's December and Im still getting charged TWICE for a service I'm not using. When i called this time the manager advised that (it might be your bank since you called and disputed) i informed her that i already spoke with my bank and they advised that it was actually identity in billing me. i asked to speak with someone that could probably assist me with removing my billing info and she advised that they would keep my info and they didn't have to tell me for how long since o went through my bank already and that i should talk to them. Christmas is next week, no job because of the pandemic and an account in the negatives thanks to identity IQ double charging me for a service i don't have anymore. I've begged for an email or phone number to speak with someone, but the manager advised she's the manager and there's no one else i could talk to. Be aware of this company!

Identity Intelligence Group Unauthorized fradulent charges of from IQ Identity

Unauthorized fradulent charges of from IQ Identity. Never do business with this company! I am on the phone with Anna from Identity IQ right now. I have read stories about them saying that they canceled services (that were never knowingly authorized to begin with). Oftentimes they say that they will cancel ones service. Then continue to debit the persons card monthly. So I called my bank and had to shut that card down. Anna informed me that account that I never made had been shut down, and that I would receive a refund in three to five days. My bank just said that the refund should post to my account even if I had the card shut down so we will see. Even if it does post there this is not anywhere near good enough. These types of companies attach their so called free trial period. When a person pulls their credit. Totally unbenounced to the consumer. Then Anna tried telling me that they sent me several e-mails (which probably went to my junk folder) stating that they were going to charge me for a service that I did not use or even know that I had in the first place! This is fraud and theft plain and simple, and this company needs to be shut down and investigated for the way that they scam peoples private bank accounts with their so called "third party" services. Even "if" my $65.97 cents is refunded. I will continue to file a report with the FTC over these fraudulent Had I not finally noticed this charge, they could have been charging me this for years.

Identity Intelligence Group I noticed that funds were deducted from my checking account by IdentityIQ

I noticed that funds were deducted from my checking account by IdentityIQ. I looked them up online and found their website with a telephone number. Bear in mind, I already use Norton to monitor my credit files. Identity IQ informed me that I signed up for their credit monitoring service in January 2022, which I did not do. I don't know how they got all my personal information but they had everything. The person I spoke with told me "You did indeed sign up for our service." To which I replied, no, I did not and I want my money back. She said that she could refund one month but not anything more than than. She went on to ask if I has opened a new loan or credit card in January, which I had. She said that the loan company must have signed me up for their service. I called my loan company and they inform me they did no such thing.01/19/2022 - they deducted $ 1.0002/27/2022 - they deducted $34.9903/28/2022 - they deducted $34.9904/26.2022 - they deducted $34.99I was so upset and the girl would talk right over me. Again, I demanded my money back and she told me that she could refund one month, but nothing more than that. How can companies do this, prey on senior citizens and steal their money. I see in my checking account that a $34.99 credit is being processed. So, they are refunding one month but not the other month. This is extremely upsetting and unjust. And with my heart condition, it makes a very difficult day even more difficult. I want the remaining $71.98 refunded to me as quickly as possible.

Identity Intelligence Group An unknown individual used identity IQ to gain access to my credit report in June 14 11:17 am

An unknown individual used identity IQ to gain access to my credit report in June 14 11:17 am. I received a email confirming a registration to there services. I called and spoke with customer service; who could not verify me using my current address (zip code). I provided her the account number I received in an email. She then started to disclose the services as though I signed up for the services. Then said I could have even signed up using credit counseling services. I informed her I have signed up for credit counselor. After being transferred to supervisor- Some additionally and alarming information was revealed to me... 1. The address used to open an account with their company was over 10 years old. When I asked why they allowed someone to open an account with their company using my personal information - they said the fraud person was able to pass the security question promoted by the credit reporting agencies. They also said the person did view my credit report They verified the zip code used was and zip code over 100 miles away from my current address I requested the I.p. Address used - *** ca In conclusion- the real issue for me is how they could allow my information to be compromised offering services and access to my credit without my authorization . I will be pursuing this matter legally. As you see individuals are now exploiting companies vulnerabilities in order to gain access to consumer information - while the company is just looking for another subscriber to embarrass and belittle.

A problem about unsubscribing and closing two accounts In late December but my husband and I hey we talked to her credit repair specialist named Rue de basically knew about identity I can we needed to find out what we needed to do to have your credit repaired so he said I could go through them and it was a dollar originally to pull out credit reports and this was in December so after that we end up closing it because we didn't need it anymore he told us what we needed to do to try to work without credit well in February he contacted me back and basically there was a issue what identity IQs cancellation department has been online we didn't know what those dog in or none of that was we thinking it was just like the first time you just get the credit report pay for it and then doubles that you can close those membership I contacted identity IQs the associate that told me she knew nothing about it the basically weed was not charged on my card when I have my credit card information proving that I was charged for both credit reports then she got on the phone after she said let me find out from a co-worker and basically told me I owe but you have to go back in and whoever you had do it for you originally go through them like they don't know who this man is you know like they never heard of him or you know basically somebody just getting your social security number and pulling information so at this point in time I want my subscription cancel ASAP for me and my husband and that's it I want no more dealings with identity IQs cancellation

Identity Intelligence Group * Business Name: Identity IQ (identityiq) * Date of transaction: 2/10/22 * Complaint: I ACCIDENTALLY signed up for the $34.99/month membership

Business Name: Identity IQ (identityiq) Date of transaction: 2/10/22 Complaint: I ACCIDENTALLY signed up for the $34.99/month membership instead of the $9.99/month membership. I called the customer service # the next day as soon as I'd realized what I'd done. They told me they WOULD switch me to the $9.99/month membership once my 7 day trial ended. It never happened. I called back they told me I could change my membership from the website on my own. I Logged in & it only gave me an option to upgrade to a $36.99/month membership. I also looked up membership costs & tha most expensive one is $32.99/ month. The Cheapest is $8.99/month. The prices they gave me were more expensive. Website don't have CANCEL option either. I'm disappointed with the lack of honesty & help from identityIQ. I've tried fixing this mistake twice over the phone, three times on website, & once through an email. Each time they told me they'd take care of my issue. It still ain't happened. If yall could help me resolve this issue with IDENTITYIQ I would be grateful. I'm not even sure how I ended up in a $34.99/month membership when it's not even supposed to be over $21.99/month. They also told me cheapest membership is $9.99/month, but it's actually $8.99/month. If you can't me resolve this I do understand, but please post my review either way if at all possible. That way others will NOT make the same mistake & so people will NOT trust anything identityIQ customer service representatives say. I don't feel as if this company values it's customers. It's unfortunate they treat their customers this way, but hopefully I won't be a customer much longer.

Identity Intelligence Group I've used IdentityIQ for 3 CRA comparison reports and disputing for over a year

I've used IdentityIQ for 3 CRA comparison reports and disputing for over a year. I've pulled over 30 reports from the company off schedule while litigating a separate issue. One day, my account just stopped working. I called, got passed to 3 different people, and I was told that I submitted a "dispute" to the charge on the card that paid for the subscription. That was false. I did no such thing, nor did I ever express dissatisfaction with the company, they have a great product. My problem lays in the fact that this "error" if you will, causes them to initiate a policy that completely deletes all of your PREVIOUSLY PAID FOR credit reports. I have no way of accessing any of those reports and the company says there is no way of recovering them because when so called "dispute" arises, their policy is to eliminate you and pretend you don't exist. Literally speaking. All they had to do was pick up the phone and call me... it would have been resolved. Now though, this company has charged me for over 30 reports and won't allow me access to them. This is why that is not okay: When you return something you give back the item. I did not return anything... this was a bank error. They permanently removed the digital products I previously paid for. I don't care about company policy, this is larceny in my opinion. The manager tried to re-enroll me into a subscription promoting the fact that I would only have to pay $1 for the first month. I said, "I will never ever do business with your company again." Unacceptable. I paid for those reports. Either furnish me the reports or refund me the money. Those are the options this company has to resolve this outside of litigation. Make no mistake, I am a litigant individual... I just don't have much interest in suing this company, but I will if necessary. I will await a response to my demand for either all reports ever run on me or a refund for all reports and subscription price for all the time I was a client.
