ID.me review: Login issues that is not resolved. Can't seem to reach a support staff to help with this issue.

Hello, I've been trying to access my id.me account to the social security account I have online since October 28, 2023. I have set up an account with id.me, recently I changed a password linked to my chromebook. When I put the new password in the verify identity, it takes me back to the login page of the Social Security that has Create an Account or Sign in. I've been trying to access my social security account and has not successfully accessed it yet. When I first login to id.me, it has my email and password already updated, I've set up 2 MFA, when I get to verify identity, I put in the password of my chromebook and that's how far I get. That's when I'm taken back to the Social Security page. It is so difficult to reach a support staff to get help. I haven't tried the phone number yet, but I will, hoping to get the help I need. I am an American citizen, right now I'm in Africa, but this shouldn't be a problem where I live. It worked for me before while being here in Africa. Soon, I will be applying for my social security benefits and I don't won't any issues when I apply. That's why I'm reaching out to get this resolved very soon. Thanks.
