AC repair
I have been a customer with Ierna for 10 years. I recently contacted them due to fan motor going out on unit on July 10th. A tech came out on the following Thursday. I was told that the part has to be ordered and would take a day or so. It is now 27th of July and no part of contact has been received. When I inquire about it, I am told dispatch will call you. Nothing more. The part supposedly was ordered on July 14th. So, now two weeks and not received. We are elderly and my daughter has MS and its been a struggle especially during this high heat index. Seeking a quick resolution.
Great installation Team
Great installation Team. Professional, meticulous and very personable. They came on time and worked all day to replace my 18 year old system with a top of the line highly efficient system. They cleaned up everything and left it spotless. They even vacuumed the small amount of dust they made installing new thermostat in house. I am nosy with these kind of things. They answered every question politely and thoroughly when I asked them. During the installation, every time I went to see how things were going, they were hard at work constantly. I HIGHLY recommend Ierna.

I have had the most unexpected and wonderful surprise from all of those I have interacted with at Iernas. I purchased both the HVAC snd Plumbing service contracts because they are an exceptional organization! Yesterday Ray was here to replace a rod in my water heater. He had gone to a lot of trouble to contact the water heater company to determine age and warranty status and then to obtain specific part needed. He explained every step, cleaned up, and made sure I was comfortable with controls etc. The same exceptional attention occured with the AC annual system check a few months ago.

Exceptional service in a time where good customer service has disappeared. IERNA came through for me once again! Dave was on time (actually came earlier as it was more convenient for me!) professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He explained things to me, and kept me updated. I had an A/C unit installed by these folks 10 years ago and it was time for an upgrade, so I had IERNA's install a new 4 ton 16 SEER system. Tyron and Chaz were prompt and ready to work when they arrived. They were professional and did a great job replacing the system. Have been a customer for years and have never been disappointed.
IERNA staff were both pleasant and efficient in taking in information and scheduling appointments. Communication was clear and timely. Tommy was plumber who handled my project. He was courteous, informative, and did a clean and careful job. I would rehire the firm and request Tommy again.

My heat pump and air handler were 15 years and the system wasn't adequately cooling my house. I called Ierna's Heating and Cooling and they sent a technician Nick H. to look at my system right away. Nick was a first date technician and did a good job of explaining to me what was failing on my system and gave me 3 options. I chose replacement of the entire system and they did the install the next morning. Their installers John and Josh S. we're first rate technicians that were very personable and cared about their work. We are lucky we have a first rate Heating and Cooling Company in Ierna's here in Tampa!

We have been doing business with Ierna's since 2017. We have nothing but good things to say about them! Most recently, technician, Henry came to our home to check on our heating unit. Henry was so professional, knowledgeable, informative and friendly! We wholeheartedly recommend this company and Henry, in particular!

Don and Grant came out today and serviced 2 toilets in my home that weren't working properly. They replaced the water shut off valve on one, inspected both toilets, inspected the faucets and then the water softener system. They were on time, polite, professional and explained all aspects of the work. Estimates were given before work was done and the process was very smooth and quick. VERY much appreciated the fact that they both wore masks and also shoe covers, which shows they care about their customers and their homes. I will definitely be calling them again for any plumbing or A/C needs and will recommend them to friends and family.

I had a diagnostic technician at my home on Friday. He sold me the part and installation to repair my unit as well as a one year service plan. He stated the repair would take place either Saturday or Sunday. I called the office on Saturday to get a woman who could not answer any of my questions and told me to "call back". I have since found out that the parts warehouse is not open on the weekends and that the office will not know when they will get it until next week. It is 91 degrees in my house for the 3rd day in a row. I feel as if the technician sold me $1600 + in parts, work and warranty under false pretenses. Let's just say - I am not a happy camper".

I can not explain how well IERNA's treated us. We live in Florida and the air conditioner went out on Sunday morning. Hours later they had arrived, completed the diagnostics, provided new install options, setup financing within minutes, and setup a schedule to complete a new complete new Bryant 18 seer Evolution unit. By the end of business day the next day, they had completed a new installation and it was completed with care and attention to detail. The group was very professional, understood my concerns, kept me involved through out the process, and they were very respectful to our home! Jacob, Nick, Tyron, and Devon are class acts and know their trade with professionalism.

Amazing service from Ierna
Amazing service from Ierna. John N and Josh S were very professional, courteous and hard working. We needed the whole system replaced. They were here 15 minutes early. They explain the process, kept the area clean and neat And were very courteous throughout the visit. The AC works great! Due to the pandemic me and my children were all home working and doing school work at the time. One of my children mentioned they had clogged the toilet. I told them that I would take care of it soon. One of the techs overheard and actually unclogged the toilet for us! And didn't even tell me that they did it. I just thought that was such an amazing nice thing to do. I felt like their service was above and beyond what we have experienced with other AC companies. Highly recommend!

We chose the Carrier Bryant model and are pleased we did. We could have chosen a less expensive unit, but my wife and I were thoroughly impressed by the knowledge, professionalism, and care that their representative, Jacob, provided on the initial inspection. We also researched all the AC models and felt that the Carrier model was rated as one of the best. The crew that installed our unit and completed all the work were fantastic as well as being very respectful of our home and our persons. Devin, Josh, and PJ worked fast and efficient and with our best interests always in mind. Our HVAC system is working phenomenally well.

We had some issues with our A/C unit not being able to keep the house cool. I contacted IERNA and they sent out Scott. Scott checked out our A/C unit and discovered the coils were one gigantic block of ice. He gave me a quote on what a new unit and duct work would cost and then gave me a tip that would allow us to get through the weekend. This was on a Friday. After discussing the situation with my wife and speaking with another company, we decided that IERNA was our best value. We contacted Scott on Saturday and let him know we were purchasing the unit from them. Bright and Early on Monday morning, John and Josh showed up to pull out the old duct work and install all new (in very inhospitable temperatures). In less than 5 hours, they had completed the duct work and installed the new A/C unit. Thanks to Scott's, John's and Josh's hard work, my wife and I can now enjoy our home at 74 degrees instead of 95.

I cannot thank the technician Darrin enough
I cannot thank the technician Darrin enough. He came out to replace a mother board for our air conditioning unit that another tech had said was needed to fix the A.C. Darrin replaced the mother board and realized that was not completing the fix. He found a fuse had blown and replaced it. A.C. was working so he left to go to another call. Mind you this was an evening repair. After about 10 min. The air quit working again. I called Iernas immediately and Darrin returned right away. Let me tell you Darrin was relentless until he found the problem he was not leaving until we had cool air. He found the thermostat wire that feeds under the house had gone bad. This is a 2 person repair that could not be done at the moment. Darrin was able to set us up with a temporary fix so we could go to bed with cool air What a champ Darrin is. He did not have to go the extra extra mile but he did. Can't thank Darrin with Iernas enough.

Have been with Ierna's HVAC over 20 yrs. They continue to maintain the best service technicians and best products that we have found. We stayed with the company thru several sell and purchases of various homes, and purchased multiple HVAC units, installed multiple UV Light systems, and Air Knight Air Quality systems thru-out the years. The best aspect of doing business with this company is shared Trust and Respect for each other, We trust their knowledge. Respect them for their fair business practices, and know that they will be here for many years to come! About my technician, Carlos Lopez, is the best! He is always thorough, detail oriented and explains his findings and makes his professional suggestions. I always request Carlos due to my trust in his expertise and now have a daughter with a new home, that will only use Carlos for her HVAC system, due to my suggestions. Great company, great people, wonderful products.

Electric hot water heater in garage started leaking Thursday morning. Had 3 highly rated companies come to home and give quotes. Ierna gave lowest price as first quote. Other companies played games, adjusting prices depending on my questions, comments etc, finally requesting I call after I had all prices and assuring me they would beat it by at least 10%. I chose Ierna, mostly based on previous experience. Friday morning the technicians ( Tommy, Adriano ) arrived early and completed the job in an hour. They were efficient and knew what they were doing. The installation included as standard brass ball valve (extra on others) and plumbing that would make future replacements easier. They communicated well and left the job site spotless. I was impressed by Iernas policy that, if the water heater failed in 6 years they would simply install a new replacement and resolve the warranty with the manufacturer. Don't waste your time, go to Ierna first. I know I will.

I bought a new HVAC unit with Ierna's heating, cooling & Plumping because the representative was helpful. The unit was I installed on July and my unit is two years old now. I even added the service plan with Ierna which they don't give you any paperwork on except everything is verbal. On August 15 I called Ierna to schedule my regular maintenance and the lady told me "your plan has elapsed". I told her to check correctly because Ierna has been taken money out of my credit card that I gave them to update their system. So she said you're correct and schedule me for the August 19, Dave D did my PMA clean and tune and he did not find anything wrong. The only thing I did notice after he left was that my unit was not staring at the set temperature. Now that I have a problem with my unit I have no prove of what they told me. I was told I will not have pay any service fee when the guys come out to check my unit but now that I have an emergency I have to pay. On top of that this brand new unit that Ierna installed needs a new compressor, how is that possible? I had an unit that was older than 8 years old and never replaced a compressor. Ierna wants me to pay 1500 for labor to have a part installed on a brand new HVAC unit. Customer service with Ierna is horrible and not friendly. Ierna will sell you a unit and make you feel appreciated but once installed it's totally a different story.

I first used Ierna's Heating,Cooling, and Plumbing in 2008. They installed a straight cool HVAC unit and everything was Professional. In 2019, I had Ierna's out to change unit over to 18 Seer Heat Pump. They moved, raised the wall thermostat so that there is now a section of wall which needs to be Primed and painted. They left a good amount of debris in my garage-which has now been removed and taken to landfill. I have Paresis/which is Paralysis on right leg below knee and right foot. Because of this handicap, I was unable to climb attic stairway to see installation. The mechanic assured me everything was put back like they found it. Not true, there are probably 10 long bundles of insulation that are thrown around attic and they did not find them this way. Ierna's placed a LIEN on my property as I did not pay them for labor to install a warranted part. In more than 50 years of Professional work ethics, the Mechanic who was African American said verbally the part was under warranty. I have never heard of a part under warranty but not the labor to remove and Install Part. Please ComplaintsBoard.com, resolve this matter and remove the lien that has been placed on my property. I have always remained open to a communication with the "NEW OWNER" of Ierna's Heating and Cooling. The new owner is MRS. IERNA. I have never had the pleasure of speaking to this person, she has not offered along with her people to come back to my home and speak to me about problems that are still existing. I guess my next step will be be Civile Court in Pasco County. I pray no one uses this "fly by night" Company. I remain open to Communication in person from Mrs. Ierna.
