CJ was the tech that showed up to repair my A/C unit. He was super nice, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. He quickly identified the problem and resolved it. Thank you, CJ, for your outstanding service. There is never a problem with Air Masters.

The service was annual checkup based on warranty. Technician was very thorough and knowledgeable and friendly. Informed me of an incorrect wiring in the air handler with the air purifier system and fixed it. Everything else on my Trane system was working fine. Will sign up with Premium Maintenance.

Air Masters of Tampa Bay I have been with Air Masters of Tampa Bay for a number of years, ever since they installed my new air conditioner

I have been with Air Masters of Tampa Bay for a number of years, ever since they installed my new air conditioner. They have performed routine service and always came when scheduled. The technicians are courteous and helpful. When I did have an issue, they responded quickly and explained exactly what was needed for the repair. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. ***, Clearwater, Fl.

Air Masters of Tampa Bay I wanted to let you know what a great experience we had with your Tech CJ

I wanted to let you know what a great experience we had with your Tech CJ. He was very informative about our new unit that we have. He explained everything he was doing and went over all of his findings in detail with me. He checked everything in great detail and did a wonderful job. We would certainly like to use him again if possible. He did a wonderful job. Thanks to Air Masters and CJ doing an excellent job.

Pleased with the service. I would really give it 4.5 or 4.75 if I could. My HVAC System is going on 18 years old. My Outdoor unit had stopped running, while the Air Handler inside still came on. The tech, was able to identify the problem as being the Capacitor. Once he replaced it the Outdoor Unit was back running, and cooling my home. The Refrigerant checked out fine, which could have been a problem since it is using the now banned Refrigerant. The only minor issues are 5.5 hours later I still have not received a copy of the bill e-mailed to me, although I do know the amount paid for, and the scheduled time for my Tech to arrive was between 8am to 10am, and he was not able to arrive until after 10am. They did call to let me know around 9:30am. My first time using them, and I will use them again. It would've been easy for my Tech and/or Air Masters to tell me the System needs to be replaced due to the age of it, costing more than 15 to 20 times the amount it cost me today.

This company has been very responsive to maintaining my AC unit with their Deluxe maintenance package for the last 2 years that we have been with them. Right after we signed on with them our air conditioner stopped running at night. We called them and they said they were on other emergency calls but would call me the next day. Each technician has been eager to listen to any problem I had and caring enough to fix the problem. Today Chad came to do the annual checking of my Trane. When he was finished he let me know that everything is working properly.

This company has been very responsive to maintaining my AC unit with their Deluxe maintenance package for the last 2 years that we have been with them. My 14 months old Trane 4 ton unit stopped working, I was told the service call would be $79.00, after technician checked the unit and found the TXU valve was bad the bill was $106.00 not $79.00 that I was quoted, they add $12.00 miscellaneous supplies (none were used), and $15.00 fuel charge. Then comes the labor quote to replace the TXU valve that is under warranty $1390.00. After I complained they lower it to $708.00. Another local company replaced the TXU valve under warranty $450.00. I will never do business with Air Masters again.

12 years of outstanding air conditioning service. Air Masters of Tampa Bay sold me the system and have maintained it since installation. The system has operated perfectly. I highly recommend Air Masters.

Air Masters of Tampa Bay Air Masters sent a maintenance reminder for a new unit installed prior to me purchasing my place

Air Masters sent a maintenance reminder for a new unit installed prior to me purchasing my place. Since they installed the unit I continued using their service. No reason to go anywhere else. Staff has always been personable, on time, communicative, and knowledgeable. I believe pricing is fair based on what I paid for a new AC unit in 2021 compared to what other fiends have paid with other companies. Keep up with the great service, it can sometimes be hard to find these days.

I just wanted to thank Air Masters for the wonderful service that I received from their technician CJ. He was very courteous and professional. He was ever so informative about the pictures he took for all of the areas he was to service with my air conditioning unit. CJ was also able to answer other questions that I had. Thank you again Air Masters, it continues to be a pleasure after having done business with you for over thirty years! I feel proud to recommend your company and technicians like CJ to anyone that I know that has an air conditioning unit in their home!

Wanted to make a comment about my relationship with Airmasters.
I call it a relationship because that is what it feels like.
I have been with you guys for many years. Your company provides consistent service & communication as to when I need to schedule maintenance appointments etc.
The technician Jim on 12/2 was outstanding. He was informative & professional. He took his shoes off after he was doing his work outside. He put my garden hose back in its place after using it to clean my compressor. He represents your company very well.
These are small details but THEY MATTER.
This is what speaks to me about Airmasters-they pay attention to details and follow up is great.
Thank you for being a reliable resource to me as I take care of my home.

Air Masters of Tampa Bay POOR NON SERVICE : I called for a service tech

POOR NON SERVICE : I called for a service tech. for my AC Air handler which kept running. He shows up four days later not in the morning as scheduled but at 2:30 pm. He pulled out his tablet screen shot the machine name plate and comunicated with his office to verify my warranty. The tech took the cover off of my unit flipped the switch from cool to off never touched anything else no multimeter to check signal from thermostat to fan motor, and told me I need a new motor. Meanwhile the office informs me that it is up to me to verify that the warranty is valid. and in my name. Which it is I had this house built 5 yrs ago, and now they have charged me $106.00 for a service call to tell me the motor is bad . NO Field verification of any type! This is plain wrong.

Air Masters of Tampa Bay We needed our 20+year old AC unit replaced

We needed our 20+year old AC unit replaced. In February , we shopped around and we are very glad we chose Air Masters. Initial contact was a breeze. I spoke to Marilyn who was very professional and friendly. She set me up with a contact person (Tony) and sent me an email as confirmation. Tony came out and looked at what we had, LISTENED to what we wanted. We did tell him we were looking for estimates and he gave us great feedback and suggestions and never pushed for a sale, unlike the other two companies that came to my home. That earnest attitude from everyone accompanied by a great price is why we chose them. Air Masters did an amazing job. We replaced the old unit with a new Trane model along with new ductwork. Our attic space is very small and tight however they we able to remove everything that was old and with ease, install everything new. Our installers where Austin and John and they arrived at the time they promised. Due to the space issue, they called their supervisor, Kevin, who came right over and together reconfigured where everything was going. The level of workmanship was exceptional. I know this review was a bit long, but when you have someone coming into your home, especially in the middle of a pandemic, you want to know what you are getting and what we got was a family owned company with people that are professional and extremely courteous and that exceeded our every expectations. We recommend Air Masters.

Air Masters of Tampa Bay DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If you do, BE SURE TO RECORD ALL CALLS WITH THEM! My Trane unit is under warranty, so they were called to fix an issue. They charged me to assess it, which is fine obviously. However, during the initial assessment, I was being charged 1.5 hours when the guy was there for 20 minutes... I called to dispute the charges, and they reduced them saying "it was a technician error." (went from $280 to $120). The tech said he had to charge me for driving from the last job to my house... That should have been the first red flag. After the assessment, they called me ask to approve "the maximum amount of $723 to replace the broken part(a small valve that was $35 under warranty), but I was told it will most likely be less!" THIS IS THEIR SALES TACTIC! IT WILL NEVER BE LOWER. ITS A BLATANT LIE, which is why you should record calls with them! Additionally, I was told "I would NOT be charged for the technician's drive time to pick up parts nor driving to my house." At the end of my warranty fix, they were ready to charge me that 'maximum amount' of $723 despite the fact they were done an hour earlier than expected... The manager, Jenny, claimed she never told me any of that in quotes above (thus why I suggest getting everything recorded since they do all their invoices by phone.. shady). Her supervisor, I can't remember her name, was extremely rude and unprofessional. I'm in the real estate industry and know how to handle myself. She just spoke over me and would not listen. I ended up paying, and sure hope this experience doesn't happen to anyone else! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, OR AT LEAST RECORD ALL CALLS WITH THEM! ALSO, BE SURE TO DOCUMENT THE EXACT TIME THE TECH ARRIVES AND IS DONE!

Air Masters of Tampa Bay Bought new AC system on 2/20

Bought new AC system on 2/20. It has broken down on multiple occasions. have 10 year parts and labor in writing, AC breaks down again and they want to charge me to fix it now. Multiple times now it has broken down. They left me with AC for a week last year, wouldn't even return my calls.

A charge for a part replacement which was actually not the cause of the problem with the air conditioner due to a misdiagnosis. On May 18, a tech from Air Masters made a service call at our home to determine what was causing a problem we were experiencing with our AC unit. After taking a brief look inside the air handler, he indicated that he thought the problem was with the blower motor. He provided an estimate of the cost of the motor replacement and indicated that he would return the next day to fix the problem. He returned on May 19, replaced the motor, turned the AC unit on, took our payment of $847.00, and left. Within a very short time of the tech's departure from our home, the house reached the thermostat temperature and the blower motor stopped running. Unfortunately, the new blower motor failed to restart when the compressor came on and called the motor to start. In response to our subsequent phone call, a second tech was sent to investigate the problem. He determined that the problem could possibly be electrical, did some work on the wiring connected to the blower motor, turned the AC unit on, and left. Within a very short time of his departure from our home, the house reached the thermostat temperature and the blower motor stopped running. Unfortunately, the new blower motor again failed to restart when the compressor came on and called the motor to start. In response to our next phone call, we were assured that another tech would be sent out the following day to investigate the problem with fresh eyes. A third tech arrived on the afternoon of May 20, thoroughly inspected the wiring, performed multiple electrical diagnostic tests, and determined that the problem was with the thermostat. He then replaced the thermostat, which resolved the problem, and the AC unit has been functioning properly since then. Unfortunately, we are still left with a charge of $847.00 for the blower motor replacement, which was not actually the cause of the problem. In response to our inquiry about this issue, we were told that a tech would be examining our original motor on May 22 to determine its functionality. Once the diagnostic was performed, our contact assured us that she would get back to us promptly to resolve the problem to our satisfaction. However, we have not yet heard back from her or anyone at Air Masters. Though we made several attempts to get in touch with our contact at Air Masters during the week of May 26-May 29, we still have not received a call back. In a further attempt to resolve this issue, we sent an email to Air Masters reviewing the chain of events and expressing our concern that we had not yet received a call from anyone in their office. Our message stated that we would seek help from the ComplaintsBoard.com should we not hear back from them by June 1. As we have not heard from them, we are seeking help from your office to bring this issue to a satisfactory resolution.
