I booked the 6pm bus from Cape Town to Johannesburg, Park Station. I got there for check in and the office was closed and there was no one available to tell us what was going on. We have been waiting and they keep lying to us saying the bus will be here in 30 minutes, it’s been 2 hours and still nothing!
I would like my mine back. This is unacceptable and unprofessional.
Claimed loss: R800 for the bus fare and inconvenience
Desired outcome: I would appreciate an apology and the full refund into my account so that I can book an alternative ticket.

It is so obvious that IlulaBus simply do not have a sense of professionalism. So write to their customer service team and claim your money back, something you can only do with proof that you had booked for a bus that had failed to turn up. If they don’t reply or make prompt refunds, take the matter further by disputing the charge with your bank or payment provider. You could alternatively lodge a complaint with the CGSO (Consumer Goods and Services Ombudsman) or the National Consumer Commission. And finally make sure others learn from your experience by publicly sharing it. Do not let them go scot-free for this one.
