We all tend to make smaller payments on a daily basis and don’t think twice about them. However, in the long run, these payments add up to a sizeable figure and leave a dent in our pockets which can be avoided. In order to cut down on such spending, it is important that you consider the facts of commuting and eating while making relocational decisions. The same way of thinking can also help in your move to save money on purchasing food. A good recommended approach would be to only have coffee at home and cut daily coffee shop visits. All of the above can help save you thousands.

Real experience: Buying coffee beans from the supermarket or even the artisan, single-origin, better-quality ones would cost between 5 and 10 Euros per bag. Maybe in the UK is a bit more expensive but a single, 1kg bag would make numerous cups of coffee, comparing to the 3 and 4 Euro coffee you get from Costa or other quality brands. Even if you buy the espresso machine, either a tabletop one for 300 pounds or a built-in on for 2000 pounds, you break even with your "investment" very quickly
