security threat - gas leakage
We are the domestic gas customer of Indane since last 12 years. The connection is under the name of my father Dilip Kumar Saha and the consumer number is 8981/A. We are served by the dealer Chirantani Gas Agency, Bangur Avenue, Dum Dum Kolkata.
On 10th June we realized that the cylinder is not getting off at all. Appreciating the threat to our security, we immediately contacted the dealer and requested for correction. Based on his advice, we disconnected the regulator and took it to him for an inspection. Inspecting the same, he found that the regulator is working fine and it has to be a problem with the particular cylinder. He nominated the delivery person to come and rectify the same. However, the delivery person after inspecting the same has refused to replace the cylinder or take any corrective action and advised us to live with the problem till the cylinder is not exhausted.
This is a repeat occurrence of such incidence in last few months and it is extremely disheartening to get such a treatment from a organization like Indian Oil compromising the safety and security of the citizens.
very negligent emergency services
I had a problem with my LPG cylinder. The washer was loose and the regulator was not fitting on it, when we tried to contact the local gas distributor-Indane TUCS kilpauk area, no one gave a proper reply, and then with great difficulty got two phone numbers of their service people [protected] & [protected] but there is no response on those numbers... We even tried the "in case of emergency" number on the gas bill, i.e. [protected] but we didn't get any response on that number also... We had to then call a local service guy to set it right as we had cooking work to be done...
Its hard to believe that such a big company has such an irresponsible and negligent emergency service...
I called the toll free complaint number and registered GAS LEAK today 17th Feb 2013 @ 10:45AM, Complaint# 836221 and gave my mobile #. I was told some one will call back and attend to it. Now the time is 10:35PM till now no one bothered to call back.
I did call the north & central chennai emergency number for the whole day and the number was always BUSY. When contacted our delivery man he gave another mechanic number but he told he is out on a personal work and will come after 6PM but never turned up.
This is how a emergeny call is being handled in chennai. Whole of today we could not turn on the GAS. VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER EMERGENCY SERVICE.
NO ONE CARES IF YOU WILL LIVE OR DIE because of GAS leak. So pathetic service, dont know when the emergency will really be taken and serviced as emergency in INDIA.

We are getting engaged tone through out the day during office hours. It is just not possible to book the cylinder refill through the phone, and by luck if we get the line after everlasted trying for more than three to four days, they will take the booking and we will get the cylinder only after 14 to 15 days. Sometimes when we get fed up of not getting line for more than a week, we go directly at the agency office for booking, but the concerned person over there, behaves so rudely, abusing the consumers in a bad manners using unparlimentary words. when we said to them that we will report this kind of bad activity to the Indane Gas higher authority, they replied that "they cannot pluck even a single hair from us". We got shocked for such a kind of reply from them.
Pls if u can take any action against this, it will be very helpful not only for me but to the entire mass.
If u r not able to take any action against this i shall complaint in the consumer forum, human rights commission and to the press for such kind of rude behaviour and the words being used by them.
I request to look into this issue by the concerned Authorities & take the necessary actions as we have good faith in Indane Gas.

The cylinders are supplied without the washer in it. we recived 2 times like that, No one is taking the complinent to rectify. Then we our self took the washer from old cylinder to replace it.
we got another common problem in receiving the gas cylinder, we have not received the cylinder even after 30 days of registration. No proper answer from the agencies.
I completely agree on it. Even we have complained that our gas cylinder is leaking and no response at all.
I had a similar problem today, but could not find the emergency numbers. I took the number you had given and they gave another number [protected]. Someone picked up and a person was promptly at my doorstep within 20 minutes and rectified the problem. Amazingly quick at 9 o'clock in the night on a Saturday !
shortage of gas bottle in market
Last for four months i am facing a problem that when ever we need a LPG bottle and we have to book for it from the sampath & co.MORBI a dealer of indane gas. They always tell us to book your bottle after 23 days of receiving the gas bottle they cant also book it for 15days or 20days we have to wait for 23 days to book a gas bottle. For this answers we have to buy gas bottles from black market which comes from a local man who have indane gas agencies LPG bottle. And other one thing we want tell that they are motivating black market by not booking a gas bottle. In market if we have to take a bottle from black market we have to give them 400 to 450 rupee per gas bottle.
For so many times i told that dealer to give me a written letter that they cant book gas bottle for 23 days. At rajkot when ever we need gas bottles they are booking it. But that center is so much far from us it is about 65 kms from morbi.
I strongly believe that they are motivating black market and they want to make an artificial shortage in market...

For the last 3 months we are waiting for a double cylinder connection at our residence (P11/21, Prayas Co-operative, Baisnabh Ghata Patuli... Con. Number-B/16281) but we were told that its uncertain when we will receive that and there is no supply for double cylinder in that particular area. Me and my wife are working professional and have to leave early for job so its very difficult to manage with one cylinder. Our repeated pleas to the Distributor authorities has fallen in deaf ears.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

This is for your kind information that I am making a complain against misbehaving of a delivery man named Mr. Haider (later known) of your LPG dealer - M/s. Seba Fuel, of 112/4, Chowdhury Para Road, Nimta, Kol. – 49, who was drunk and misbehaved as when he was delivering cylinder at our building. Now this same man is also convicted of selling cylinders at high price at blackmarket ( YOU CAN VERIFY IT ). It is amazing why M/s.SEBA FUEL encourage this type of people again and again under your brand name which surely harms your company’s good-will as well as there also.
It was at 1:30pm., on 11-05-08, the same delivery man Mr. Haider at his duty and in his uniform, was found drunk and suspiciously roaming at the corridor of my floor when he was asked that whether he is looking for somebody or not and instead of answering in a properly, the delivery man Mr. Haider tried to assault me and threatened me to go to my room fast, as he was going to knock at his friend’s door and he also said that he is selling such a product that people will find him out instead of he finding out people.
Now, if this is the way of reaction of staffs' with uniform, then we are very sorry to say that, being a customer of your company we do not expect these type of unsocial activities from your brand name users.
So, we instead of making an F.I.R. at police this is my request to you to look into the matter which is really very harmful and unsecure to all of us and your company also.

my consumer no. is 45429 & consumer of raminder gas agency paschim vihar new delhi-63 i booked gas 0n 22.02.08 & till 2day they didn't deliver gas .i went 2 ask why you didn't send gas they replied that ur house was locked.than i told that my house can't be locked either my wife or servant should be at home . there didn't respond nicely anytime .there behaviour r very rude. they give many execuse like gas is not available and ur house was locked. they sell cylinder in black . they give cylinder easily in black in rs550/-.plz take some action against him.

Sorry to say the distributer at Sreema Gas Agency Naktala Kolkata-700047,behaves awfully towards their customers.I have today faced a serrious problem at my house,where the regulator of my Gas cannot be detached from the alongside pipe both are purchased 4 month back from the same distributer.
When asked for help to send a man from their end they refused to do so and instead they behaved and spoke over telephone awfully,which cannot be digested by any consumer of INDIAN OIL.
Please look into the matter strickly and earnestly requesting you to take some measure immidiately so that they become afraid of Rrepeating any such behavior.
INDIAN OIL is such a company if they reject one distributer they will get hundred more

I am trying to book a Cylinder for the last couple of month with Madhu Gas Service in Kondli, Delhi 96 (Phone [protected], [protected]),but, unformatunately the telephone number is not working. It is very surprising that a public serive like this, the telephone number put under non workable condition.
Hope that the appropriate action will be taken by the concerned athorities.
I went to M/s Kalpana Gas (Vijaynagar Nagar) to book the cylinder on 14th of January the lady who is sitting near the computer told me to book tomarrow i.e., 15th of January and she also told 15th is working day. I made several calls on 15th but no answer from their side then I went myself to check then the office was opned and no body was there then I was someone sitting outside they told me today is holiday, then I called on 16th January the same lady to whom I have spoked on 14th told me to call on 20th and she refused to give her manager mobile no and also the owner's no - I wanted to know what action should be taken aginst these people
My question is why they don’t pay attention; Why Indian Oil is not taking care of it.
Why we have to meet the dealer for Gas booking and then we have to ask them why we are not getting it.
I have asked for double cylinder around 2years ago but I have not yet received that, whenever I ask them they use to say, “ We are not giving now” you do one thing take another new connection,
My question is for IOC is it necessary to buy Gas oven if not then why we have to buy it from your gas dealers if we don’t buy it they wont give us the connection, if we don’t pay them much money they wont give you 2nd cylinder why?
My Father is a very old person he can’t go every time for gas booking dealer have given us the phone no but they don’t bothered to pickup the phone.
We don’t use to get gas before 30-45 days coz supply is short from Indane Gas but how come the un-registered hotel owners are getting gas regularly?.

As being a senior citizen and your thirty five year customer not getting the kind of attention as likely to be given by you and your service providers. As i have several issues to complain and i am giving you their details.
1. I am not getting the receipt of the cylinder , as in law i have the right to inform, my status and the details are not provided by the agency to me.
2.The other complain of mine is, even after repeatedly complaining about the refilling of my gas cylinder, i am not getting the delivery as on time. I presume people of gas agencies are doing black marketing, my cylinder is delivered to some other person frequently.
3.The toll free no. you managed very cheerfully for god sake manage one attendant to lift the phone up.

I must add to the above complaints that these people will supply u the cylinder at once if u bribe them or in their language buy the cylinder in black the sum varies frm Rs 50-100.From where do the cylinder is made available if there is a shortage of supply.while booking they will not pick up the phone, if they do they will make u wait for minuteson end or else just disconnect the phone mid way.
Why should the consumer tolerate such high handed behaviour of these people. Its not as if they are bearing the subsdised rates.
Moreover are ever any action taken on these complains or is this all a farce?

We are using indane cooking gas for last30 years and getting it through baranagar gas service, 44/51, b. t. road. kolkata-700050, distributor for indane l. p. g. of late, after booking gas cylinder, that too after numbers of phone calls, we are used to receive it through a deliveryman who in each and every occasion asks for a tips of rs 10/-. he never hesitates to threat with consequence of nondelivery of gas if payment is refused. on refusal of such payment in a particular occasion, the man threatened my mrs and said "I shall see, how will you get the delivery at the next time? I will simply report to the dealer that gas could not be supplied as the doors were locked on delivery date". this actually happened in our case and we have been supplied with the gas on 24.04.2007 after 02.02.2007 although the normal delivery time is only 4/5 days.
when reported to the manager about the incident he reluctantly replied that "well you can go for a complain to the appropriate authority. everyday, people like you complains without any positive result".
So where do we stand? do we deserve such humiliation?

I am a LPG Indane customer with Rohini Teja Gas Agency, Rajahmundry Andhra Pradesh and my consumer Number is 326.
I have booked for a refill on 31.03.2007 . Even though past 2o days, I did not get my refill from Indane (Indian Oil Corporation) dealer. I reminded the dealer at least 5 times in the past week and each time he promises to send the supply the next day without fulfilling it. This has become a regular practice with this dealer in recent times especially in the festive/ marriage season.

I am registered consumer of indane gas having consumer no-28252. The distributor is "Gopal Gas Service" Budge Budge Trunk Road, Maheshtala Dakghar Kolkata-700141.
The Leakage from Regulator (when I tried to put ON the Regulator nobe for cooking the in adequate amount of leakage of gas.) So I took the regulator for replacing or exchanging with new one to my Distributor, they told me that Regulator was not available now, come to us after five days with all documents and Papers.
My question arises here:-
a) Will I stop my cooking for five days?
b) Is this called an emergency service? Or
c) When this type of situation arise. What kind of emergency service will you provide for your consumer?

I am consumer of LPG from Rajhans Gas Agency, Tajpur, Najafgarh, New Delhi. Regularly I'm getting less quantity of gas at the time of refilling. Even I'm weighing the cylinder at the time of delivery. but at the end of gass it is been noticed that aprx. 2-3kgs water left inside the cylinder. I had verbal discussion with the delivery boy as well as the incharge of store. but no one is takin care. you are requested to look into and insist them to deliver appropriate qtty.

cookwell gas agency is suppling indane gas to shahabad people, place is at chitapur taluk Gulbarga District Karnatak. Main complaint of the shahabad town people is that irregular supply, refusal to supply door delivery. Perticulary in Alstom Township, which is industiral Area, Cookwell gas agency initially started giving door delivery servicess, but later stated irregular servicess. There were several complaints in this regard, finally agency was cancelled by concerned authority. After long time, somehow the same agency was manage to get dealship. Now, The same agency the cookwell gas agency Shahabad Dist. Gulbarga started irregularity in supply, refuse to door delivery. due to colony residents are facing lot of problems. please take necessary and do the needful at earliest.
I am not an INDANE LPG customer. today i went to ur ravina gas agency west enclave pitampura to take a new connection and to become a part of indane LPG. Butwhen i asked the sales girl for the new connection she told me that right now the company is not issuing the connections for the new connection i have to wait for few days . This is the first time i visit to ur outlet and ur sales person refuse for services
now sir/madam i request u to tell me that weather its true that company is not issuing new connections if it is then plse tell for how much time i have wait for connection.

I am an INDANE LPG customer with Delhi Cantt Sadar Bazar gas agency.My consumer number is 36778. On 28 May 07 i went there personally at about 9.30 AM and gave them a change of address and booked my gas cylinder. I was given the assurance that the same would be delivered to me on 29th.However till now it has not been delivered. When i checked up with the agency i was very rudely told by a salesgirl that they had told some Mangalapuri person to deliver the cylinder and that i should get i touch with them and it was no longer their responsibility. When i protested at this stand and asked to speak to the manager, she told me that he was not around and banged the phone on me. This is the first time this is happening in the last three years .
This is not expected from a reputed company like IOC.

I am customer of Indian Oil and in possession of Indane Gas. My distributor for Gas Cylinder is M/s Santosh Gas Service, D/100, Kamdhenu Complex, Inside Panjara Pole, Polytechnic, Ahmedabad-380015, Gujarat, India.
Today(02.04.07) when I tried to replace my new cylinder with old cylinder(as it was exhausted) we observed some leakage in new cylinder. We desperately tried to contact all the phone numbers of our distributor, the emergency numbers given in the Cash Memo,customer service center of Indian Oil but regret no one could be contacted. This is our routine experience that though we are talking big about customer services but in this kind of matters where high risk is involved,the customers are left on their own fate and no body is available to attend the complaint. (Forget about the solving the complaint) We are paying our hard earned money for the services as well as we are becoming victims because as & when govt. wants,they increase the rates but service level is extremely poor.
Is anybody there to look at my complaint for poor services what we customers are getting. Are there any ears where our complaints will be listened? I do not know what will be fate of my this complaint note too because MERA BHARAT MAHAN.

I filled a complaint of leakage to agency 4 days back. But till date afternoon there was no responce to the same, & whenever tried to connect the Agency phone no's, are engaged or not lifted by any body. Today after noon i reminded the agency & came to a surprise reply that the complaint was not at all lodged on that day and now it is done so a person from agency will come. As the person came to house and my wife had attended him. He saw the cylinder and said it is almost empty and may work for another 4-5 days only and this cannot be sorted out. If it would have been a new/fresh filled cylinder then it is of use. So, better forget. Later he diverted the attention to the pipe which is been used and said to replace with new one and told to purchase the same. As she rejected to accept and purchase the pipe suggested, he wrote a message in his ledger that customer has refused to accept and took her sign.
IF that person coming for complaint solution doesn’t have any responsibility for the on-going gas supply from the cylinder?
He is just bound to attend only new/fresh filled cylinder?
He didnt even bother to see what sort of problem it is and continuously repeated the sentence that it going to be empty and there is no solution. If the Answer is valid? or the Leakage in Cylinder should be kept in the house?
The Lady Executives sitting at phone booking system do not have any seriousness to give instruction for such an urgent requirement of complaint?
Are they Agency people & Company people waiting for some accident to happen?
Are we not paying for the services? & whether the gas is for 4 – 5 days.. it costs. Don’t they?

I have Indane Company Gas Connection. My service No. is 7156, at Uday Gas Agency, P.O.Krishnagar, Saijpur, Ahmedabad, Gujarat State.
I am not receiving Gas cylinder in time. Last Calendar year I have received only 10 refill Cylinders. This year on 26th February, 2008 I have booked the refill, after 15 days i.e. 13th March, 2008 I have received Gas Cylinder. On 1st April, 2008 I have booked refill, Udya Gas Agency, refused to book refill, they are telling that from the date of deliver of last Gas Cylinder, from that date count 21 days means 13th March 2008 + 21 days. On 5th April, 2008 I go to the company and booked the refill on 5th April, 2008. Gas Agency's authority persons are telling that I will get Gas Cylinder after 20th April, 2008. Because from 26th Feb., 2008 I have got Gas Cylinder on 13th March, 2008 means after booking the refill Uday Gas Agency takes 15 days to deliver the Gas Cylinder. From the deliver of gas cylinder Uday Gas Agency takes minimum 21 days for next booking the refill. After booking of refill, Company again takes 15 days for the delivery of Gas Refill. Total days become 15+21+15=51 days. Means every customer is getting refill after 50 days so it is not good administration for Domestic Gas Connection. Pl. helps us and guide us how we will get gas cylinder within 25-35 days.

i booked gas cycilender on 23/01/2008 to shubhlaxmi indane gas at bopal-ahmedbabd.they refused to book the gas cylinder.whenever i booked the cylinder they replay that your cylinder will deliver within 4 to 5 dayes but after eight days of booking they not deliverd cylinder and after eight dayes when i phoned then they will reply that your cylinder will deliver within four to five days.my cylinder
was delivered on 28/12/2007 when i booked it before ten dayes. if there is a rule of booking cylinder not before twenty one days ? then deler should mention my booking number with date & time on retail invoice because i received my last cylinder on 28/12/2007 then why they are not booked cylinder on 23/01/2008?
other things that my old gas booking agency was santosh gas but without informe me they change to
shubhlaxmi indane which is more then ten kilometer from my residance so i can not go personally and book the cylinder.even your ioc customer service cell phone number is written on retail invoce was not correct and no replay from that phone number so how can i complain ?

Yes, I extremely agree with the problem given above, as I have also encountered the same problem here in Delhi. Its so hard to contact any of the given numbers of corporation,and even if you catch hold of one there is no response. What keeps our good old corporation employees so busy that they don't even have time to answer it's consumer's call.
Yes, I do agree to it, fully, as I am facing the same problem in Gwalior, but no one there to hear my complaint.

The LPG connection in my home is in the name of my mother in law S. Kwei , consumer no.3922. The dealer C.I.T. gas distributer,31/1A Dr suresh sarkar road, kol-700014 has been suppling gas after 7 to 10 days of booking , and this inspite of booking at intervals of 21 days.My last gas booking was on 23.3.07, and I am yet to receive a refill in spite of reminders. This has been going on for the last 6 months, causing great inconvenience to us.Repeated complaints has only elicited a response of ''less supply". I appeal to the authority/company to ensure regular supply and better services from the dealer.

I am a customer of Indane Gas for last 5 years. I have booked for a refill of gas cylinder. Firstly the agent refused to take booking and told me that he will not take booking before 25 days of last delivery of refilled cylinder. I booked for refilling of cylinder after 25 days though there are no such restrictions by central government. In a recent statement by government it is stated that one can book refilling of gas cylinder even after two weeks. Worst part comes now, I have not received refilled cylinder even after booking done before 12 days.
I request officials to please look in to this matter. Without GAS how I will cook my food. I have arrange for some carosene so that i can cook food by old age stove.

The above cited complaint often occurs. When we ask the gas agency to book the gas they tell your last delivery date is less than 20 days. Now our gas agency asking to bring the following documents alongwith when to book the gas.
1 Copy of Ration Card
2 Copy of Voter Card
I fail to understand why these documents are required becoz when new connection is issued all these documents are submitted. Is this company's policy? Because we face a lot of problem. We have to wait for several hours in standing a queue. Is this possible for a serving couple.

I am a LPG Indane customer with Tirupati Gas Associates, Nangloi, Delhi and my consumer Number is ZOG 7050. I have booked for a refill on 05.03.2007. Even though it is nearing twelve days, I did not get my refill from Indane (Indian Oil Corporation) dealer. I went to dealer two-three times but every time they told me we will send it in one or two day. This is happening from last few months. I saw many times that cycle walas came and sold the cylinders to nearby shop.
I request IOCL to conduct audit into the records of the dealer and if necessary appoint one more dealer to regulate the supply and minimize the customer's avoidable grievances.

I am an Indane consumer (LPG) at South 24 parganas, area Brahmapur, Kol-96. The dealer M's P L Gas Service at Boral is a most corrupted one. They never attend the telephone for any quiry or complaint. They also never supply gas cylinders not before 20/25 days. IOCL is also very reluctant to look into the problems of the general public. It was assured by IOCL while introducing the new system of gas booking that cylinders will be received by the customers quickly by booking through this system. But that was a hoax. Nothing has happened, it remained as usual. The line men also in connoivance with the dealer. They never say anything about the actual position. I complained sometime earlier to IOCL about all these irregularities. IOCL assured me to look into the matter but the matter ended there. The same thing is going on till today. Dear Sir,
We had received one domestic gas cylinder on 13.12.2009agansit your receipt no.: OP37384 dt 11.12.2009.
There is three emergency numbers against complaint of leakage of cylinder, but there was no response against all the mentioned numbers. There is some leakage in the cylinder we received on 13.12.2009, but no person was there to attend the call and replace the cylinder.
If all below mentioned emergency numbers are not working kindly provide alternate complaint/ booking number to the customers.

We want a case against indane company as they provided us with a leaking cylinder and even on request for the change , they didn't do it.
It could have cost our lifes and home too. A confidential inquiry is solicited immediately. We want all the claims for our lifes and mental torture as we would go to consumer court.
It was on Sunday (1st April 2007) that the running gas cylinder was over. I changed the one with the spare one. As soon as I fixed the regulator on to it, the gas started rushing out with a fizzing noise. We kept the cylinder in the balcony. As there are no emergency nos. with the agency(claimed by them), I could lodge a complaint only on Monday i.e 2nd April, 2007 but to my great disappointment nobody has turned up from the agency till date (6th April, 2007 ) after my repeated calls. Since I am working, I made an arrangement with the neighbors so that the cylinder could be taken away from my house. The reluctance shown by the agency on this serious thing can always give way to accidents . The agency is in Noida, sector-37. I do not know how to expedite this. And I would like Indane Gas to note that this is the second time that I have received a leaking cylinder. My request with Indane Gas is to instruct their agents to show alertness ( and not chalta hai kind of attitude) in this kind of matters so as to avoid serious msihaps.

Ironically Indane Gas has a toll free number, but their Udaipur distributor "Aravali Gas Service" has different opinion about phone service. During working hours you never reach them on phone.
Hopefully, the company will speak with this dealer and try to convince him to keep his phone on the hook during working hours as their consumers are working and busy people and one should value others time also.

unauthorized filling of gas cylinders
In Karawal Nagar area of North East Delhi PIN 110094, there are shops which unauthorized filled up small gas cylinders from the domestic big cylinders with the unauthorized nexus with gas deliveryman and distributing agencies. This causes shortage of supply and partially filled up supply of domestic cylinders to the genuine customer.
Even the rate of such illegal cylinder are also mentioned as Rs. 40 per KG in such shops openly.
I am not an INDANE LPG customer. today i went to ur ravina gas agency west enclave pitampura to take a new connection and to become a part of indane LPG. Butwhen i asked the sales girl for the new connection she told me that right now the company is not issuing the connections for the new connection i have to wait for few days . This is the first time i visit to ur outlet and ur sales person refuse for services
now sir/madam i request u to tell me that weather its true that company is not issuing new connections if it is then plse tell for how much time i have wait for connection.

Recently, in a span of a month from Nov.06 end to Jan. end 07, we had to change 6 LPG Cylinders.This is due to air-mix supply of cylinders by SAI SEWA ENTERPRISE each of the LPG cylinders didn't last for more than 10 days. The flame in hotplate is of yellow color instead of blue color & the weight at the time of delivery is o.k.
We are being harassed by this agency as no complaints could be launched from them and there is no other way to report this type of happenings. They were virtually intolerant and uncooperative to us and our nearby when we tried to register a complaint at their office and tried not to take any responsibly for the issue. I am reporting this type of LPG issues to the forum to show what apathetic condition do we live and how our system works with no fear for Law and order.

He has no manners that how to talk anybody. Every villagers are sad with that person. One public park which is situated in fatehpur chandila but that person use this park for personal use such as uple dalna, gobar dalna, lakdiya dalna etc. It’s park situated in front of santi atta chakki. By doing this park is going to damage, mosquitoes born due to this, nobody can't sit in the park, children can't play in the park etc. It's my humble request to you please do the needful. I have booked the gas on 15 day back with M/s Maheshwari Gas Service - Madangir DDA Flats, New Delhi and followed up again several times . They some time told that it has not been booked and some time told that it on the way but we nevery got the delivery on time.
This happens every times. they have 02 telephone numbers which always got engaged- may be instantly. on service slip their service timeing are 9 to 5 but their gerenely server to public between 10:00 to 5:00 PM. but if you want the cylender from their delivery boys on Black amount they can provide you any time. but they will charge double amount.
I am totally frustrated with the service. this is my 5th complaint and no one is ready to here our voice. CAN anyone help us to give us the right way so that we can get the best service on fair rate.

The agency people never lifts the phone and the agency is 8 Km away from my home. I have to book the gas on counter every time i cant reach out them on phone. This time I have booked the gas 25 days before at M/s Srinivasa gas agency, Hastinapuram, Hyderabad (Phone #040- [protected]/5625) in the counter. They said to delivere the gas after 1 week. After waiting 10 days I even did not get the delivery. I went again reached the office to book the gas, thier response was that the entry was not made in computer and they are not aware of the booking and they again said the gas will be delivered in next 7 days. But it's already 12 days and the gas has not been delivered. The agency people are not picking the phone whenever I make a phone call. This is very rediculous. Yesterday onwards we are cooking the food on kerosene stove. Indane gas service is really poor. They are troubling people. Why any action is not being taken by you If they can't delivere on time.

My consumer number is 23634. I had submitted my change of address document to Sudheendra Indane Gas agency. Those people directed me to Yelanka new town Nataraj Gas agency where they said address proof had to be submitted which was not informed by Sudheendra Indane Gas agency when we inquired about the same, moreover I had booked double connection the waiting list Num was 7350. I was informed by Sudheendra Indane Gas agency that the same number will be getting forward with Nataraj Gas agency but when I enquired the Nataraj Gas agency responded stating a new form with new number will be given for double connection already. Its more than 8 months I have been waiting for my double connection now because of all this confusion the waiting list number is canceled.

I am having gas connection with ASHALAKSHMI GAS AGENCY, KUTHALAM, nagapattinam district, tamil nadu my consumer number 6071. They are doing very worst service to the whole consumer of my area, Thiruloki village, Thiruvidaimaruthur taluk, Tanjore Dist.

I, Rajneesh Madhok, Distt. President, Bahujan Samaj Party (Khatri Wing) got the following complaint from the locality.
We, Joginder Pal Madhok having Consumer No. 3502 and Surinder Mohan Madhok Consumer No. 14369 residents of Nehru Nagar, Street No. 2, Railway Road, Phagwara solemnly affirm and declare:
1. As you are involved in selling under weight LPG cylinders in the city. Even then we tolerated this high handedness.
2. Why not the matter be brought in the notice of Food & Civil Supply Department.
3. As we are sure the Phagwara Gas Agency is transferring the Gas in empty cylinders. So, the case under Section 7 of Essential Commodity Act & Sec. 420 of the Indian Penal Code be registered against you.
4. Why we are being harassed for getting supply to get against substitutes of empty cylinders.
5. Why the telephone numbers of Phagwara Gas Agency No. 260539 & 260739 are either not working or the office staff are not receiving the calls made by the customers for booking of Gas cylinder.
6. When we booked Gas Cylinders with your deliveryman about 15 days back. Why he is not making the supply to us whereas the supply should be made within 3 working days.
7. To ensure delivery, the delivery boy of your company contacted to a particular person for getting delivery for the cylinder but on our repeated requests he did not give ear to our pleadings. Why because he is getting Extra Heavy Charges from that particular person.
8. Due to deficiency in service & unfair trade practices why not the department take action against you.
9. The seniority in booking of refills was not considered leading to supply of cylinders to consumers.
10. It is requested to you to direct your delivery boys not to search Extra Charges from consumers & ensure delivery without delay.
11. As collection of extra charges by the delivery boys in the absence of permission from the Indian Oil Corportaion or from any revenue authority amounted to an unfair trade practice. Though the supply of refills to the consumers are erratic.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I booked the new gas connection on 23/06/2006 in Coimbatore; agency name is Shree maha ganapathy gas service (WL.NO – 294). They send a card also but unfortunately the card was missed. 10 times I went and asked to gas agencies what is the other option, but no one response, they told if you have the card mean no issue, otherwise not possible like that they told, what is the alternative option for applying gas connection.
I have a similar complaint against Lotus Indane Gas Distributors, at Metagalli Circle, Mysore 18; distributor code - 1983734; District code -401, Destination code 092399. I have not been using gas too frequently since my family members were not at home. But I was given to understand the agency has been booking gas cylinders in my account number regularly and selling them to unauthorized persons. They became more careful when i lodged a complaint with the Central Complaint Board, New Delhi. But the situation has not improved any since then.
I booked for refill on 19th September, after making numerous calls, and they promised to deliver gas within 3 or 4 days. Today it is 5 days since booking and they are not answering my calls. They receive the call and do not answer me. They keep me waiting on the phone while call charges are booked on it. They do it like they would want to punish me with it. I wonder if they are again resorting to selling the cylinders to hotels and petty shops, after booking it in my account number.
It is clear Anna Hazare's messages have not reached this gas agency in Mysore.

Last Month (June) I was booked for refil. Still i have not yet received the refill.
Tha I ask to the Supplier, But the supplier says your booking is cancelled and now we are booking today. I am asking the supplier, why my booking is cancelled? The supplier says, if you want refil come and get the cyliner. How is it possible. because i am working in Coimbatore. Every time the supplier was not worked properly.
Kindly take neccessary action for the supplier.
I myself Laishram Tomba singh my customer no is LT-14633 and i am getting a gas from LT DISTRIBUTORS JODHPUR PARK and untill now it been delivered by the worker upto our door step but the problem is he taking the money more then our other customer giving and some time he took the money by telling that the price of gas has been rised more then Rs40 from the normal price so i am hopping that to take an action for this and i will be more happy to be a customer in future too.

This is to bring to your kind notice that M/S.Vasudha Gas Agencies, Tirur Road, Kuttippuram - 679 571, Malappuram Dist, Kerala, (SAP : 117639), is not rendering their service properly to the customer.
My Consumer no is : 8025 with the above Indian Gas agency.
It is deeply regretted that inspite of repeated request and personal approach the agency is not delivering the LPG cylinder booked for more than 57 days. Inspite of sufficient stock. On querry it was noted that they have enough stocks but selling at the back door for higher rates. I am also experiencing the lack of service from the Indane Gas Agency. I am thinking to conduct a campaign against this gas agency and make my self and our friends, neighbours close all the connections with them and open it with other gas agency.
Hoping you'll note the claims which mentioned above, and will take the necessasties for the supply.

Today i went to Indane gas agency dealer Alwar M/S Ambesh gas service, Alwar (Raj.)-301001 for new connection and DBC connection .
Sir i asked them for new connection but they told me that “it is compulsory to take new gas stove for new gas connection & wearing kit for DBC connection. It is compulsory from Indane Gas Compony.”
Sir, I want to know that whether is it compulsory to take new gas stove & wearing kit with a new connection & DBC OR they were telling me lie.
the charge me for DBC 1850+250=2100Rs. but i the other agencies is charging Rs.1650/- for same service without any compulsory condition ( New stove & Wearing kit)

My consumer number for Indane gas is 21710. I am attached to Mohanil Gas service, Hauz Khas, New Delhi. They have two telephone numbers 2656 4899/4837. To begin with both these numbers are impossible to get through - they are forever engaged, one has to make over 20 attempts over two days to book an order for a cylinder.
While all other company cylinders get delivered in 2 days, Mohanil alone will say it will takes 4-5 days and deliver well after 6 days. Interesting the consumer slip, which comes with the cylinder will mention a date well after the date of booking - making it seem the cylinder has been delivered in 2, 3 days!
I have written several letters on the subject but no action has taken place, Mohanil continues to be as erratic and highhanded as always.
As for the much touted grievances call centre set up by Indian oil, I tried the toll free number to be met with a recorded message "THIS NUMBER DOES NOT EXIST"

I am client o Indane since 2005. Presently am registere to agent Chiorodeep in Dumdum Park, Kolkata-55 for last 20 months.

I am disguste with the attitude of the staff. They initially never accpte my application for the secon cylinder. After much heated iscussion finally they accepted it on 05.12.2007 with registration no.458017.
But I have never been able to learn what is my staning in terms of gettiong the connection. They never comes out with clear list so that one knows when he is getting it, or even if he gets it at all.
In the mean time with single cyliner, we can not manage the things propoerly. Last time we had to hand over the cylinder yet to be empty to get a fully reille cylinder. This time we are running a kitchen without a gas cylinder.
On top of that the staff always shower us with unnecessary advices on different aspects of house keeping!
Being a doctor in government meical college, I seldom find time to meet the office staff personally in ofice hours and whenever I took timemout of my schedule to meet them, it was mostly wasted.

I am a customer of Indane LPG and linving at 1 Dhapa Road, Calcutta 700105. my Distributor name is Cargo Distributors. My consumer number is 10668. from last 4 - 5 month i face a lot of problem to receive a gas cylinder due to abnormal delay. I booked for the gas cylinder about 19 days (on 7th Sept 07) back and till date (26th Sept 07) I have not received. 3 days ago When I call the distributors they told that we have sent it and when we asked to vendor he told me that he has yet to received the booking from dealer. Exactly I don't know what is the problem. Today when I again contacted them again they are stating that they are sending it. It is going on and nothing is happening and till date I have not received gas cylinder.
I am a customer Indane LPG and stays at Residenc complex , Ministry of External Affairs, Dwarka Sector 2, Plot no. My consumer number is D 11717. This is the third time I have received only 12 KG gas instead of 14.2. kg. I have told several time about the matter to the local distributor which is Rajapur at Dearka. Today on 18/09/07 When I received the cylinder that was only 27.8 KG with cylinder instead of 30.2 KG. When I told the man who served the cylinder that it is underweight ,he suddenlly changed my cylinder which was 30.2 Kg. After that I told the local authority at Rajapuri they told it will not happen in future. But it is third time which have occurd with me.
I shall grateful if you kindly take necessary action at your end.

I am a customer Indane LPG and stays at New Bombay. My consumer number is 1660. Now a days there is inordinate delay in getting the gas cylinders on booking. I booked for the gas cylinder about 20 days back and on booking it was informed that it will be delivered within 2 days. Since it was not delivered after 5 days called them again and they informed that they are sending it on that day itself but nothing happened. After 2 days again contacted them again they are stating that they are sending it. It is going on and nothing is happening and till date I have not received gas cylinder.
