My father was moved to the second floor and I asked for a floor change just do to The circumstances of the floor he was placed on being a Covid floor. I asked to speak to a manager because when I was addressing the front counter girl she rudely was getting an attitude and took off her bad so I could not see her name. I didn’t have my mother walk back up there with me and I was just questioning why he could not be moved to two N. instead of 2000 just due to him ultimately being in there because of a stroke and his heart surgery he just had.

The floor supervisor Jamie came in and she nicely explained that those are for cardiac patients I ask because she ask someone higher than her if he could be moved due to his age. she politely said that she would put him on the list and if they had any openings that he could be moved to to North Jordan Abby and Natalie were all extremely rude. All of his kids are biracial or African-American I stepped out of the room and Natalie asked my cousin what relations wishy to the patient and that is none of her business. The way I was talked to and treated is extremely unprofessional and a poor excuse to the hospital.

They need to understand they are the face of the hospital so they need to understand that they need to watch how they talk to people how they respond and it’s not how they respond it’s the tone that they responded I didn’t appreciate it.

I didn’t appreciate getting an attitude when I asked a question and I asked to speak to someone higher because she acted as if she could not answer that question and I had stares. that floor is extremely unprofessional

And poorly managed upon arriving on that floor we walked out of the elevators to see every single staff person on their cell phone and no it was not the one provided by the hospital I’m sure the one provided by the hospital does not have TikTok Instagram and or loud music with profanity. this is a hospital not a playground and I would appreciate if that floor was held accountable for their actions tonight.

Desired outcome: I request an apology and if possible just to be moved to a different side of the floor away from Covid patients due to his age.
