instacart delivery from whole foods
My third order with Instacart was placed today, March 1st and it did not arrive. After calling the company to find out what the problem was, I discovered that Instacart now had a number for me which I did not provide. I did not even recognize the number that was on file for me. While I was so happy with previous orders, this one just had me fuming. A recent accident has me temporarily homebound and now at 9:00pm, I have no food and no way to get any. To make matters worse, when speaking with a phone rep about this issue, she put blame on me for providing the wrong number which could not possibly have happened, because I do not even recognize the number on file. She did deactivate my account, but if I was charged for the month of February, I wish to have it refunded. The best result of this situation is to have my order delivered totally free of any charge, but based on this experience, I seriously doubt that will happen. So please refund my $14.99 for the month of February. Instacart is a great concept which I enjoyed for a couple of deliveries, however this latest order was one of the worst customer service episodes I've ever experienced. Hope you work out the problems.

I shop at the HEB at 603 Louis Henna Blvd in Round Rock, TX. Everytime I go into the store there are always Instacart shoppers pushing carts to the side to run down aisles and nearly running people over.
I understand they are trying to get shopping done in a timely matter, but this has become off putting about the Instacart company. I feel something needs to be said to the shoppers about being courteous to other shoppers as I'm tired of going in worried if myself or my kids will be run over my a cart or an Instacart shopper.
Glad to know I'm not the only one that seems to think that at this HEB. Everytime I've gone in there, I've had Instacart shoppers come barreling around the corner and almost take me out with out any kind of apology. They are too busy staring at their phone to pay attention to what is in front of them as 95% of the time, you can never make eye contact with them
about interview for oct. 12, 2017
Hello, my name is Mariana Gonzalez. I had applied for In-Store Shopper and I recently was scheduled to have an interview at the Redwood City Whole Foods Market on Jefferson Ave. at 2pm yesterday afternoon Tuesday Oct. 12, 2017. I showed up for the interview at 1:45pm there were about 12 other people waiting to be interviewed as well by your shift lead Rodrigo. Rodrigo never showed up to interview us. We all waited about an hour before we had two of your employees try to contact him. The first person whose name I didn't get, called or texted Rodrigo saying there was a group waiting to be interviewed to which he had told her he had supposedly been at Whole Foods in the morning and decided to leave because no one showed up but the interview was scheduled at 2pm in the afternoon not morning. I then asked a male employee whose name I also didn't get down but we asked if he could call Rodrigo, he called him twice. The second time the man told me that Rodrigo had told him he was not going to come back to interview us because he supposedly showed up at 2pm and nobody was there which is a complete lie. By 1:45pm I was at Whole Foods Market waiting with 3 other women at a table right next to the green Instacart fridge and register. Rodrigo was no where to be seen or found. When I first arrived a girl told me to have a seat at the table right next to the Instacart fridge where another girl was already seated waiting before I had arrived. The man told me that Rodrigo had told him he wasn't going to come interview us and was already on a train back to San Francisco but he never showed up to interview any of the 12 people in the first place.

I'm sorry you had such a horrible interview. When I worked for them, My interview was incredibly rushed and they didn't explain much to me about how demanding the position actually was. You are timed when you shop, you only get a lunch break when you work more than 4 hours, and the attendance system is horrible (6 points for leaving early, even if you're sick). I feel like you dodged a bullet.

company's disregard for contractors & false customer complaints
I'm not sure how Instacart is working in other states, but in Georgia, they continue to expand with no regard to their current contractors. They continue to hire shoppers at a high rate in the Atlanta area, leaving the shoppers to "fight" for hours and orders. They even expanded to new areas. But instead of only hiring shoppers for the new areas, they hired them and gave them access to the already over-crowded, current Atlanta markets. This has resulted in a drop in orders and income for shoppers. They don't seem to care for the shoppers that have been with them for a long time, as long as the orders get completed and they get their money.
Second, it seems that a lot of customers have figured out how to get free groceries at the shoppers expense by falsely claiming items as missing or damaged. There's no process in place to flag these customers that are taking money out of the company's and shoppers' pockets!

I use Instacart because of transportation and personal mobility issues. I love the freedom to get food without obligating myself to family, neighbors or schedules of friends. Don't price me out of the ability to get food by unreasonable costs.

When I was placing my order and carefully watched if all of the items were in stock. I ordered 6 products, paid for them, but never received.
Someone else did. Not me. I wasn't even notified. I wonder what the delivery process looks like. The driver rings the door, someone opens it, takes the orders and doesn't mention that he/she never ordered anything like this? How does it work? I'm out of fifty dollars.
They gave me a hard time when I asked them to refund. They did it several times partially. Surely, it's not due to their policies. Due to their dumb heads. I'm done. Goodbye.
food delivery service
Today 8-18-17 I ordered much needed groceries from INSTACART. I am disabled, can't drive, am a shut in... l have a lot of health issues that keep me inside. I ran very low on groceries and didn't have anything to eat for lunch so I ordered from Instacart. well the website says that my card was declined, so I try to process it again. I get the same message, declined. I call the number for customer ser vice, talk to a gentleman, he tells me to call my bank. I call the bank and released the hold. I call Instacart back and talk to a women. the card was declined again. I talked with a manager and explained my dire situation to her, she says, sorry but the system will take 24 hours to clear my card. she was cold and uncaring, then had the gall to say, "HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!..

not receiving my pay for being kick off shift/n sick pay for over 3 month
May 5th 2017, was kick off 3 times.Missing 4 hours of pay.I call on hold for hour, or hang up on me.I have sreen shots of me email store manager (Jean), uninstalled app, then reinstall it. Still took 4 hour to get back on shift, and didnt remove reliability.
Didnt get my sick pay for 13 hour.Not understanding why they wont pay me my sick pay.

Groceries arrived smelling like smoke
You need to have stricter policies for employees delivering groceries. This is the second time my groceries from Jewel came from someone who smoked and my groceries all smelled completely like cigarette smoke.
This is unacceptable for people working with food. I have complained once before about this as well, and had a delivery at 10:45AM this morning and the person Heidi H. delivered it and smelled completely of smoke.
I will not be using your services if you continue to allow drivers/delivery people to smoke around our groceries.
I ordered a blanket for my newborn. I had a csection and cant drive yet. The blanket smelled like smoke and I had to toss it in the trash. This is completely unacceptable. Shoppers need to be professional and not smoke on the job. Smoking while haveng a newborns items in the car is insanely rude and puts the life of my child at risk. There needs to be a no smoking policy.
Exactly how does this put your childs life at risk? Smoke or no smoke you should wash the blanket before you cover your child with it. Talk about unsanitary.
incorrect amounts charged to credit cards
Please do NOT order any with Instacart. They are really a Fraud People who show an Amount during Checkout (accepting some PROMO codes) and tempting the Customers to make transactions without validating the Promo codes and later on Charges to your Credit Card account with whole amount without PROMO codes and also other added Delivery and Service charges.
When asked about this to Instacard Customer Service, the Irresponsible person says, you can very well Dispute the Charges with Credit Card company to get your money back but this is their process and they wont do anything to adjust their process.
Such an Irresponsible and Fraud people who shows Different amount during checkout and Posting another amount to Credit cards without letting us know these thing in advance. For those people who are NOT regulalry verifying the Credit Card transactions, wont recognize this Fraud activities.
unprofessional and unreliable company
I have ordered many things from www.instacart.com and had an issue with these guys. I have placed a big order because I was expecting guests and needed all the products.
My order was delivered on time but they messed everything up and I received the wrong order. I refused to pay and had to run to a local store and buy everything there! Instacart disappointed me very much! In my opinion that was a huge mistake and it clearly shows how unprofessional and unreliable Instacart is!
high prices
When I just found Instacart I was very excited and ordered many products. Then I noticed that I was charged more than I expected. Checked my bank statement and it showed that there were some extra taxes applied to all the products and there was also a shipping fee. Checked the site and could not fund any information about the shipping fee! I never wanted to pay extra money! Products were received in reasonable time and I was happy about everything. But with all these extra fees Instacart is too expensive.
they are very bad at dealing with replacements
I decided try this site and paid for a for a 1 year membership. Liked the site very much and prices were also great, so it seemed like a great deal. When I received the package and opened it I found out that some items were wrong. So I contacted Instacart hoping to get a replacement and they refused! They are very bad at dealing with replacements and they do not respect their customers! I do not recommend this company!
I understand, I was an In-store shopper for about a month. And I did as good as I possibly could, what bothered me was the weird attendance system and how we are expected to shop so quickly. Sometimes I had items that did not have replacements so I would have to wait for the customer to tell me what else they would want. which would take longer than expected at times. And just as I got the hang of it and went above and beyond for my customers, I was cut because I was sick and missed too many workdays. Even though missing part of a shift because of things you cannot control, is an automatic 6 points?

As a shopper, here the problem we are facing when we shop :
1- most of the customers do not pay attention of the replacement the shopper can do. It's your responsibility to check your phone and look at if the replacement is correct for you or not. If not, you can change it and ask the shopper for another item.
2- you can chat with your shopper. That interaction will increase the efficiency of his/her work, and then your satisfaction.
The shoppers shop for you. NOT like you, think about it.
2- the customer app side show what the corporate listing is. But it doesn't show the real/current and so available items in the store. And that is also a problem that the customers do not understand.
The app is NOT connected to the local inventory at any time.
3- During this pandemic, Instacart has hired over 700, 000 people to shop. And yes unfortunately some people just doesn't care, and do a bad job. And because of that and the rating system, the good ones are discarded after few low ratings (like 3 stars or even 4 stars). And then technically Instacart loose the good shoppers, because of some customers, and those shopper are replaced by new ones, who will not do a better job on the long term.
I am doing that full time, and because of some very picky customers, I struggle to keep my revenue up. And Just two 3 stars, make me loosing my revenue by 60%. So think about it.
seller posted and charged for completely different prices
People, be careful if you order from the company www.instacart.com. I ordered beef and some other groceries, but it turned out that almost all prices were wrong. They posted one price, but charged for completely different prices. I placed the order and noticed these differences when I have already proceeded to pay. I tried to cancel the order after that, but of course the seller pretended that he hasn’t received the cancellation email at all. The seller is scammer, thief and liar, so keep an eye on this guy.

I was disappointed with the shopper Kenyada F. She was the worst shopper I had with instacart. If their were stars to mark in I would give her a poor. * She called my phone to tell me my food item was not available. And asked if I would like anything else. She suggested a bag of Kirkland chicken. I told her I was looking for 25-50 wings. She asked if I wanted it I said Yes ! She suggested that she take a picture. That was going to be my question. I said yes, take a picture that way I can see what Im purchasing and I can make a final decision. Their was a miscommunication with a bag of Kirkland chicken. An item that I do not purchase at all. She suggested she take a picture of the bag so I could see how it looked. I agreed. I asked her to take another picture of the back of the item to see the chicken more clear or send a picture showing just the wing. She was so sure I was purchasing the item, while we were discussing the chicken and the photographs she took it upon herself to decide what she think I should buy with my money. She did not close the agreement whether or not I would like the food item. I think she was very inconsiderate. She does not care what the customer wants This is the third time someone from your company has screwed with my order. This is ridiculous ! Two items ! I should not have to wait 7 days for a refund of my money because she does not want to get my order done correctly. * These are the pictures she sent me ;

they delivered wrong items and refused to help me
I placed large order on the website www.instacart.com. I waited one day and they delivered the order, but some items were completely wrong and I haven’t bought this stuff. The courier refused to take it back and provide money back. After that I tried to complain, but no one from this company replied to my emails and complaints. They are liars and scammers, so be careful and better avoid them. As well as post comments about your experience with them.
the company didn't provide orders
I decided to try the services of the website www.instacart.com. I bought some stuff, but these ### didn’t deliver it. I contacted them and asked about delivery, and the rep told me to be patient and wait, coz they had a lot of work. After 2 days again nothing, WTF? I tried to reach them again, but all phones were busy. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Can you provide any good piece of advice?
I won't buy from this seller
The instacart.com offer products, which can be purchased in whole as well. I bought 10 milk packages, which cost me $ 25 with the shipment. Later I called the nearest shop and asked about their prices. Of course, they sell milk packages for smaller price than instacart.com. So I won’t buy from this seller. They overcharged customers for the same products as in shops. They simply make money on people and mislead them.
