JetAbroad review I never leave reviews but I felt necessary if I can save others the awful experience we had. Now before I start, please know I was an international flight attendant, and my partner an avid traveller of many years. We know our stuff when it comes to travel! Lots of this information we found out the hard way - we read the reviews for Jet Abroad, but we ignored them thinking it wouldn’t happen to us. And I’m sure you are thinking the same for yourself too. Please learn from us and don’t make the same mistake. A million percent, pay the extra few hundred and go to a travel agent, because this ended up costing us so much more money in the long run. Main points: 1. You get no support if something goes wrong abroad. We got stranded in Ontario USA for over 24 hours. JetAbroad made no contact with us, nor checked on us, offered any resolution or support during this time. I promise you, they are notified about delays and cancellations. The airlines struggled to help us as we booked through a third party (Jet Abroad). There were multiple other delays and we never heard from them either. Thank gosh for travel insurance! 2. Their customer service is terrible. They are incredibly condescending and passive aggressive - see email transcript below from their team leader. Now that says something! Also I don’t usually name and shame, but I felt this necessary as hopefully further training is offered to their staff. 3. They do not monitor their emails enough, and there was is no accessible number to contact them on. So if you’re stranded somewhere overseas, you will struggle massively to get in contact with them, let alone a response or help from them. 4. We were constantly back and forth between airlines and JetAbroad - you are the middle man, meaning you have to do all the work and liaising. Remind me again what we paid Jet abroad for? Where is the service? It’s like going shopping and paying the money but not getting anything for it. 5. You will still need to pay more for selecting seats on your flights - this isn’t an inclusion of Jet Abroad, and therefore, actually ended up costing us as much as it would have should we have been to Flight Centre or such. 6. Before we even left on our holiday we encountered problems - so many flight delays and cancellations (which I know is not their fault, again, flight attendant ✈️). However, their way of handling it was terrible and that is something they are in control of. One of our flights was cancelled by the airline as they stopped doing that route on certain days. We were automatically moved to the flight 3 days earlier without being asked. This didn’t work for us as that meant we would miss 3 days of Disney World in Orlando. So wait for this… Jet Abroad said they therefore consider it as us “cancelling” as the new flight didn’t suit us, and made us pay a $200 cancellation fee ($100 each)… Whaaaat!? We didn’t cancel. We were cancelled on! Why did we get charged a cancellation fee? Imagine if this happened on multiple flights 👋🏼💰💸 so after that, we were told we would get a credit to use through Jet Abroad for the leftover amount of what we paid on the cancelled flight (minus the $200 cancellation fee mentioned above 😉). However, we would need to wait, I quote, “24-48 hours” to receive this code. We were also sent other flight options and we accepted one of them immediately, however we didn’t get the code for A WEEK (when it was meant to be 24-48 hours as mentioned by them, and stated in their policy) so in that week the flight price almost TRIPLED and Jet Abroad refused to honour the original quote, even though we couldn’t book it at that time as we hadn’t received the voucher code from them. 7. My personal favourite - when we challenged all the above and plead it being unfair in a very professional and respectful way with one of their staff members who we were liaising with directly over a few emails, we then randomly got this email from their TEAM LEADER. Try telling me that this isn’t dismissive, leaving the customer with no rights or agreeable solution. “Hi Markus, Thank you for your email. I am the team leader for the Customer Support team. As advised earlier, the voucher was issued as a result of one of your bookings affected by a schedule change and you sending us a cancellation/refund request for the same. Due to an unusual technical glitch, the voucher was issued a couple of days after the stipulated time. Unfortunately we cannot waive any fees. This remains our final decision. Yours sincerely, Nikki Jetabroad Customer Support” Now these are just the main points. There are many other issues we encountered with this company. Please know they only post the POSITIVE reviews on their website - so make sure you do your research. I hope that this review helps you and saves you from going through what I and many others have. Holidays are meant to be recharging, rejuvenating and exciting. Ours was full of anxiety, stress and fear the entire time. We have had no help, no refunds, no compensation, absolutely nothing from Jet Abroad. Do your research and make an informed decision.

Recommendation: DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM
