If you have made your investments with this company, do your children a favor, and relocate the funds immediately! My father didn't have much money, but he made sure his account was large enough to cover his funeral services. Here I sit, nearly 3 months after his death, and still unable to have his funds released, despite multiple hours in phone calls, trips to the notary, etc. At this point, i've even had the funeral director imply that I was lying about waiting for the funds to process. This is a horrible monster of a company that has a seemingly endless number of people to complain to, with just a few results as the previous.
corruption
Chase bank covered up corruption in there executive department, I sent them recorded copy off sign in, there was two names mind an another with link back to chase they tried to erase it, Chase sight was hacked an all off there clients information was stolen identity chase never inform any off them, These hackers had stole all my information, Chase never inform there customers that there employees was duplicating there Debit cards an were arrested, I file a complaint before they were arrested, Chase Assessor to a crime, Chase Executive department block me from filling out a fraud report, they also refuse to give me statement they were not going to give me back my money, Chase Executive Ms Young was given evidence she refuse to acknowledge, Chase employee were stealing Social security checks I reported this before employees were arrested, the same bank my money was in, Chase bank stole over, 60, 000 dollars from me that's not starting from 2015_ In 2015

poor customer service, website defects
Chase bank complaints
I was a washington mutual customer when chase took over and been pleased with chase until last 2 years. the below listed reasons are why im leaving in may as soon as my ssa $ is deposited into my provident credit union account.
I have complained to several branch managers in south florida and have not seen any improvememt:
When search chase bank complaints it takes me to https://www.chase.com/digital/resources/complaints-feedback
When i sign in it takes me to my bank home page and there is no place to submit my complaint!
The new web site interface is worse than the previous! the old web site was user friendly and more intuitive with links to needed places.
Cant access secure messaging from computer site but can from chase mobile
Cant readily accesss account features.
The chase logo at top of page is dead and should be a live link to “home” or something!
The chase mobile app does not list the branches that have atm card access to atm lobbies where larger amounts of cash can be withdrawn after hours.
Although your branches have restrooms, they are not for customers! very bad for senior citizens in sofl!
Every other bank ive been in has restrooms for customers!
Chase has closed most if not all of the atms at walgreens and cvs drug stores.
Your bank is the most customer unfriendly, bordering on covert hostility, i have ever experienced.
Im certainly not the only customer leaving chase after years of being neglected!
unacceptable customer service
On 3/30/17 I went to Chase to close my old acct. & open a new one as precaution because I thought my acct information had been compromised due to a device malfunction. The transactions occurred without incident.
On 4/8/17 I received a letter dated 4/4/17 stating that my acct. had been closed & that I had until 4/7/17 to stop all transactions & cancel direct deposits. Clearly, that timeline could not be met as the letter was received after the fact.
I went into the local branch in Haverstraw, NY where NO ONE, including the branch manager could tell me why the action was taken. Simply that I could no longer have accts. with them.
I've been a customer for approximately 18 years. First with a juvenile trust, then a college checking & then a regular checking acct. I've always been in good standing. And with the exception of the recent change, have never had any issues as a customer.
It is horrible customer service to treat anyone this way. I may be a "lower level" customer since I'm only a middle class citizen, however, I've been a loyal customer and have even referred others to bank with Chase.
At minimum, I'd like just the answer as to why my acct. was closed and why I can no longer bank with Chase. I'm being treated as if I've committed some sort of agregious act against the institution.
cheque fraud
Unprofessional & irresponsible
I've recently uploaded my bicycle up for sale on craigslist. Bob who was very interested in purchasing the item have sent me the cheque that was more than the value of the item, and have asked me to send the remainder to Chirstopher who Bob claimed was his delivery guy. I deposited the cheque and waited 4 days for the cheque to clear. Once the cheque was cleared and became available in my account, I've proceeded to wire-transferring the remainder of the amount to Chirstopher. The day after i've wire transferred the money, the initial cheque that was cleared was now returned and I had deficit balance of -$2000 in my checking account. I called Chase (my bank) to ask about what happend, and they've explained that the cheque was cleared early for my convenience, which i never asked for, and then was later returned since cheque was not valid. Such security measure is unacceptable. Even worse i was charged for the return fee of the cheque. I can't understand why i would have to be responsible for the mistake that the bank made.
bank attitude

I have been banking with chase many years same small office.
We have lost service there and now we are treated like terrorist when we go there. I mean look I been banking there many years when I come there a ID is all I need to do business. The management how they handle your policies better learn to treat us like humans.
Danny has no clue what it means for me to put my hard work in a bank and treat me like a terrorist. I am sorry I am 56 year old man My brother retired as a a VP from Citi bank maybe I should put my money there.
I can can go over to the main branch once in a while and they all know me from this small branch that treats people like ####. work on this.
Why should people put money in your bank lousy service and low interest rates.
I guess i can replace them with a smart app. Or start my own bank.
stolen money
I let chase know I was abducted on a side of town I have never used my card or live near my car happened to break down there someone told me they would look further into it I never got a call back I was sexually violated and hospitalized for suicide, and traumatized to say the least. And told them to at least put something back to help me because I'm a single mother of two with no help.
claims department
I called for a double charge on my account on January 23 for Starbucks I called and they told me they would put a temporary credit to my account until the issue was resolved and the rep that helped me told me it should take up to 30days! Starbucks credited my account on January 25. The claims department took 2 months for them to resolve my claim. That is ridiculous they are not only wasting my time and money now! Now they are taking money from my child for food when this could have been resolved in January! Also the agents that helped me had no sympathy and or professionalism! I have worked for customer service for 8 years and never in my life would I treat my customer that way! I would try to get her issue resolved as soon as I can! I'm so disappointed with chase!

chase fraud on chase.com
The pain and dysfunction of dealing with Chase's fraud depart has been so frustrating with several hours and many phone calls! They are very disconnected from the various ways that the fraud was committed. They left loose ends and cause the fraud attack to go on for an extended amount of time. Did not check all accounts and customer points for what had been hacked. Staff was terrible and ranged from clueless domestic to even worse foreign staff. I finally worked through it with them but I have really lost faith in The Sapphire customer service.
I have investment issues with chase j p morgan
I have had an investment account that my parents set up for me as a child. Chase JP Morgan has not made a effort to contact me when 3 of my statements had been returned. No phone Call no Registered Letter. My address had not changed but they transferred my funds to the State of Colorado any way! Now I can not find my money! They basicly have no transfer Paperwork saying It went to the State and the state say's they do not
have it? I AM NOW SEEKING HELP FOR A LAWYER AND THE UNITED STATES SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISION.
quickpay
THE WORST customer service I ever experienced. Quickpay is the most flawed and unreliable bank service you could possibly use. My money was basically stolen due to bank's mistake by allowing to register several accounts with the same phone number! I sent money to my fiancee, put HIS NAME - which is visible on a transaction and phone number, and still somebody else received the money - Chase allowed it to happen. How is it even possible that you can allow a transaction where name and phone number don't match in bank records? And now they are completely unhelpful, not trying to give me my money back or send it to a correct recipient. NEVER EVER use their services, at the end of the day they don't care about you and your business. Closing all my personal accounts and not starting a business one. Thank you for looking out for me and not caring about stealing your customers' money!
refusal to release money from deceased father's account
Dealing with Chase Legal Department has been a fraught with lack of communication, delays, incompetencies, incusable for a major financial institution.
My father died on May 28, 2016. I have been trying, without success, to have the balance of $20, 000.00 in his checking/savings account transferred to his surviving spouse.
My parents were married 63 years! My mother is 87 years old and suffers from dementia and has severe mobility problems. The cost of caregiving is astronomical! Knowing he had very little time left, my dad worked hard to ensure my mother would be safe and secure in the house they shared for decades. He took out a reverse mortgage. My parents were far from wealthy and, at one time, qualified for Medi-Cal's meals on wheels.
In June 2016, I went to a Chase branch office. Produced death certificate, bank statements, power of attorney. No response. I finally retained the services of an attorney. In August 2016, legal documents and demand for release were submitted. Chase responded with delay tactics such as duplicate requests for documents previously provided, and as recently as a month ago, proof that I, in fact, authorized legal representation!
How unethical! How unconscionable! How abhorrent!
annual fee
We send our statement back to cancel our credit card as the annual fee was more than we wanted to pay since we did not use this card. Had not been used in many many months. They said they did not get the cancellation.
When the second statement came, it was still on there so I sent it again and said we cancelled this card.
Then I got a notice saying it was overdue and I then found a way to get someone in the email message dept. They say the annual fee is due as it was not cancelled in time. I do not understand why it would be fair to charge you for an annual fee that the card has been cancelled and I do believe they got the request to cancel and they just ignored it hoping it would just get paid. I do not feel this is fair or legal and need help.
Thank you
Did you call to cancel your card? Do you have proof of receipt? Did you confirm the address with a representative over the phone? I have never heard of someone sending a statement back with a request to cancel on it. You might as well be sending letters.
chase card
My Amazon prime account overdrawn and late monthly pay. The chase Amazon card that was given seven months ago was closed by Chase.
Reason: In December a new card was mailed out. I was told by chase that it is my problem for not letting chase know that I had received the new card. I had no way knowing a new card was coming out. The exp date was 05 19 and it was a chip card. I had no way in knowing about a new card.
Amazon later told me that chase told them I requested a new card.
This is not true.
And why do your new cards not be set up with amazon.? Like the first one.
unethical behavior
Chase is the worst! My account was compromised and all my funds where wiped out. Chase advised me to close the old account and open a new account one. They said they would investigate the fraud and credit back my funds. I filed my claim on Monday, January 23rd. I still have not received a cent of my money and its January 31st. The credit was approved by Chase. The bank credit my account; the old and closed account; not once, twice but three times. NO apologies .. no one is willing to help get my credit in my NEW account. I have bills and day to day living expenses that I cant meet them because the bank's employees are a JOKE! Its' like speaking to automatic teller; NO ONE CAN FIX the problem. They repeat the same thing over and over. This is unacceptable.
atm withdrawal limit
My son is in the military serving our country. I called chase today to get a small increase on his debit card withdrawal. I was told by debra and aria that it couldn't be done unless he called btw they were very rude and non accomdating. I am on his account so that issues like this would not happen. He is in the field and has no communication to the outside world right now. We are having his car shipped to him the day he arrives to base. They want cash or cashier's check. No chase bank around. Other banks will not give him a cashier's check without cash. So now the car shows up and he only can give them 500. I'm sure they will take the car back. It's obviously chase could care less about the military. I will be posting this on social media to warn other soldiers to find a more military friendly bank
It doesn't have to do with the military at all. It has to do with fraud and account security. Everyone who works with a bank has to be treated equally.
In regards to the account, are you a joint owner? If you are not and are merely a secondary you definitely should not be allowed to make changes of that nature.
credit - customer service
Scrooged: chase united mileageplus visa scrooged me on christmas eve. We spend a lot of money with chase united visa every month. It turns out that on december 19, we missed a modest payment due. We received no notice from visa, nor any reminder. But, on christmas eve, chase united visa just cut off our credit card. Even if we immediately made our payment on the phone (Which we did) they would not make credit available for 2 days (Which does not help on christmas eve). Fortunately, we had other cards, but it is still completely unreasonable to cut off credit on christmas eve with no prior notice. When we called customer service, they offered no help at all, and when in frustration we suggested they just close the account, the phone rep actually began the process of closing the account rather than offer any help at all. Any company that would scrooge you on christmas eve is not a company you should do business with.
customer service sucks
Hello,
I just want to encourage your company to please hire a nice customer service people. I called today and was just inquiring about the new chase credit card sapphire reserve because I wanted to apply, but that person is really rude and made me think twice if I really want to apply for the credit card with an annual fee of 450$! Unlike the American Express customer service, the chase customer service is a joke! What a disappointment.
wire service
On 11/29/2016 I went to a chase bank to make a wire transfer of funds to Kazakhstan. My daughter had made the request. She is a PhD candidate at Ohio state university. The money was to cover research costs she had contracted for this fall. The data she needed was to be sent to her upon payment. She emailed me the information and I went to the bank to make the transfer. The branch manager said the request raised red flags and I agreed it could, but that I had talked to our daughter and she in turn had talked directly to the firm. I explained that due to the nature of the grant paying for the data was different it was necessary to pay the bill by wire. The grant money had come directly to our daughter. Each time I was questioned about some aspect of the transfer I drove home found and printed an answer to the questions raised and came back. At 4pm the manager accompanied to the teller window and withdrew the necessary funds for the transfer. At this time she told me I still will not approve the transfer. The next day my wife and I returned with a copy of the contract for the data and she said she would never approve the transaction. She said I might be able to make the transfer online myself and said she saw too many red flags. I explained as did my wife we would alone accept the risk if the funds were lost. I went to another branch and explained what had happened and asked to see a manager to see if I could get the money wired. The manager was busy and the person talking to us said he would have him call us. At 3:30 pm I went back to the bank, located the manager who claimed to have been too busy to call me. I explained the problem, he talked to the original manager, and refused to wire the money.
