Kall8 Kall8.com texting triggers and services as a whole

This company has nice features but they don't work! I've been a customer for 4 months now just paying my money for no service privileges... I'm on the line with customer service as I type and have been on hold a half hour with no answer, called and talked to a service representative this morning and no one has returned a call or fixed my issue in the entire 4 months i've been with this sad company! Auto texting works on one day then not the next, can't return texts from the app like they say you can, can't read the text because they go down a a straight line 1 character at a time, they blamed my phone but it's a new galaxy phone so that ain't it. I'm just dumping money into a big waste of service... And now that my business is listed with this number it's in use so it's not like I can just say oh well and get a new number that would cost me quite a bit of cash for reprints of flyers business cards and other listings that's been posted. Then they say you can port the number out for a 200.00 fee yet they take my money every month for a poor quality service! With no help or fixes for your problem... So now I guess i'm stuck please stay away from this service! Or you may end up stuck for 2 years before youre free to port the number out! One tech I had name was chad damair he seemed alright but never really got the job done, then when I got the customer service rep today she looked over my account and saw he was trying to help and he closed the ticket as complete. Yet my service is still the same! Not working... But the way it tool me 15 minutes to type this out on my phone and im still on hold with no answer this makes a full 45 minutes now... And they haven't even offered to compensate me for the months without use of my service that I pay for but can't use!

Desired outcome: Either fix my account and credit me 4 months service or release my number for free so I can get a service that works!

Kall8 Phone line I cannot hear anyone, nor they can hear me

I called tonight at 4:30 AM Eastern. I spoke to a younger guy that was absolutely rude. I'm not sure why he works there if we bother him. I was calling because my service was not working. I could not hear the calls or the other way around. He calls me and when I answer I hear nothing. He calls me back and very rudely without letting me speak claims there is nothing wrong. I then tell the little [censored] that yes I heard the call and I answered but like I told him before it is not working. He hangs up on me. I call back he claims he did not hang up on anyone and he already put the service ticket through. Meaning he did hang up on me and did not bother to give me the ticket. I had to call back for it. I let him know he was rude and was behaving like he did not believe me. His response"what would you like me to do". So here I am paying for this service, and this little [censored] is being rude. Why? is this not his job? Was it so much to ask to seek help from the company that I am paying for a service and I'm not getting it? From the beginning, the little tool bag was rude and behaved like nothing is ever wrong with Kall8. Let me just state There is always something wrong with Kall *. They suck! I'm so pissed. this is what I do for a living and because some imbecile can't answer the phone or do his job right, I now can not work the rest of the night. Thank you for your kindness.

Desired outcome: Please have competent operators that are kind. I'm not asking or a dinner date. Just help. Keep the rudeness at home. You're dealing with clients that pay for a service.

Kall8 1800/toll free number

Bad service and kept asking for more and more private information (suspicious way of operating...)

It's not enough for them that you pay with your credit card online, I was told that because I live overseas (Switzerland) I had to to fax a signed form with my credit card details, pictures of my personal ID and... picture of my actual credit card!

When I wrote a polite email asking what was the reason for all those requirements when maybe only PayPal Stripe ask for similar amounts of information (not even Shopify asks for all that info) my "account executive" wrote this wonderful piece of customer service:

Kall8 exec: "I have you given you our process for our of country sales. It is protect us and the consumer from fraud. If you want the number, complete within 24 hours or the account set up will be deleted."

This is literally what the guy wrote... do I want Kall8 having all my personal details and info?! No way!

Stay clear of Kall8... I'm thinking about cancelling my credit card and asking for a replacement one just to be on the safe side.

Kall8 Business Number

I read the previous complaint about Kall8 and how everyone tried to make the original person feel badly. I too was a customer of Kall8 and have ALL of my invoices to post with this complaint. Charlie411 is absolutely CORRECT with his/her complaint. and for the person posting they have a PI service, well it is against law to play in someones yard without permission! internet always gathering information to get revenge and NOT solve problems. customers have a right issue complaints, abusive companies such as Kall8 should be exposed.
With that, I also received spoof calls and faxes where i was charged for the service. I had not published the phone number just yet and my charges were very high. I kept thinking, where are all of these so called customers looking for me, always calling and can never reach me. I disputed some calls and later learned that the fax communication were kept on their server and visible to Kall8 at ANY TIME, even when you delete it, so the PI person would have lots of information to muck you up with in favor of Kall8. these companies rob us as we pursue our dreams of business ownership. bottom line, just use the old phone and fax methods...stop dealing with these online services. they learn to perfect a competing service in the industry you are in with YOUR information and failures. as to say, they learn my your mistakes...
Internet isnt safe for everything..like they track my IP when joining this form and know exactly where I am posting! waiting on the PI to deliver the goods, hun Kall8.
again, i have my invoices and all of the calls did not answer when I called back...the numbers were spoof. Guess the PI guy KNOWS that with all of his wisdom and "intelligence"

I just signed up for a toll free number. They billed my credit card. Received a phone call 10 minutes later stating that they need a photo ID of my credit card. KALL8 SCAMMMMMS! WHOEVER SAYS "YOUR NUMBER IS CALLED DUE TO IT BEING A PRIOR NUMBER OF A BUSINESS" IS FULL OF [censored]! I HAVE OTHER NUMBERS THAT ARE PRIOR BUSINESS NUMBERS - THE PEOPLE WHO CALL THESE NUMBERS ACTUALLY STATE THE BUSINESS THEY ARE TRYING TO FIND AND A "OH SORRY" AT LEAST. THE NUMBERS I GET FROM KALL8 DONT EVEN TALK! EVERY TIME I GET A CALL FROM KALL8 ITS SOMEONE SITTING ON THE OTHER END NOT TALKING, ALLLLLL OF THEM! I have had the same problem with zombie calls on Kall8. I have two numbers with Kall8, and I get 3-6 calls PER DAY between them. No one answers. All calls come from different locations around the country, ALL with invalid return numbers. My 800 line is very low activity, so the zombie calls are pretty much the only calls I've received.

My agreed upon $2/month bill is frequently more than $10, sometimes as high as $13.

My email to customer service has gone unanswered. Strangely, when I did complain, the zombie calls stopped for 3 days, but then started up again. Coincidence? I think not.

Kall8 is running a scam. I will be seeking another provider.

Kall8 A multi-customer pattern of fake call billing

Same experience as last complainer. They seem to have a pattern in the way they over-bill. Lots and lots of fake calls everymonth for which they charge and claim it's not their fault if the number they gave to the customer supposedly gets calls from random numbers and customer has to pay for them. If it's simply a barage of calls because the number was owned by someone else who got lots of random calls, then why doesn't the same thing happen when I get a number from my phone or cell company? And why do so many customers experience the same thing? And why do they insist on charging the customer (while offering to change the number which doesn't get rid of the problem)? I've taken this up with customer service and they refused to refund my money for the fake calls. Stay away from this company! FCC please take a note and use these complaints as proof.

Kall8.com has interesting features and low rates however we have one major complaint about Kall8.com. Kall8 does not protect the customer's privacy. Once after you sign up Kall8 will request that you fax or email them your private information such as your passport copy, Driver's license, front and back copy of your credit card, proof of address. Kall8 claims they need this information for their fraud department but it is only a way to get private data from the customer. We believe Kall8 should respect people's privacy. We believe this request for personal data is in case the customer wants to sue Kall8 for possible over charging or billing. It is Kall8's leverage against their own customers. Overall, Kall8 is not recommended and there would be better options for getting toll free numbers.

Kall8 debited my account to pay a bill without my permission

I had a 800 line with this company. After stopping my service I owed them like $40 dollars. They sent me a collections letter for the amount owed. Then they took it upon themselves to debit my account for small amounts 6 months later to pay that debt. How can they do this? Is it not my choice as to wether I pay my bills or not?

This company Kall8 is a scam, they charge you a $25.00 monthly fee for "Automated Reports" that I never signed up for, nor was it mentioned on the website or on their Terms of Service.
I cancelled my account it took them 4 days to cancel, then the try to charge me for the cost of those 4 days, I cancelled the Automated Reports before hand, but was still being charged up till the cancellation date, their calculating a pro-rated method of the final costs is way off base. Anyhow I cancelled my credit card after reading numerous reports of them committing credit card fraud while continually billing your card long after your account has been closed.
Anyhow I will send them a Western Union payment for the amount I owe them and will continually be posting reviews similar to this online to warn others of their scam.
