Kane & McHenry Enterprises I purchase the CellHelmet Liquid Glass Screen Protector for my phone on 12/6 at UBreakIFix located at ***

I purchase the CellHelmet Liquid Glass Screen Protector for my phone on 12/6 at UBreakIFix located at *** While at the store and after having the product applied, the store personnel registered my product on my phone for me. I received a confirmation email that the registration was complete. On 10/21 my screen broke and I scheduled my phone for repair on 10/30 again at UBreakiFix. Once the repair was made, I submitted the claim for reimbursement from CellHelmet. They are denying the claim stating I didn't submit a picture of my phone when I had the product applied back on 12/6 which I wasn't aware of since the store registered the product for me and I received an email stating the registration was complete. I just paid $323.29 to have his screen repaired and should have the $300 claim paid from CellHelmet. If there was a problem with the initial registration, they should have reached out to me and let me know but I had no idea and the email I received stated my product registration is complete.

I purchased a cellhelmet liquid glass protection and when it came time to make a claim they said it was not covered I have emails from cellhelmet they are hard to get ahold of and do not want to honor their warrantee. Purchased it from UBreakIfix in Mckinney texas who stated they are having trouble with the company not honoring the product. I want my 300.00 that I had to pay to fix my screen refunded by cellhelmet for a $50.00 product I bought that was suppose to have protection.

I bought two Cell Helmet liquid screen protectors from UBreakIfix in Mt Kisco, NY on May 8th-one for my iPhone and one for my 12 year old daughter's iPhone I tried several times to put the PIN number I received onto my daughter's app under the 30 day period that Cell Helmet gives you in order to qualify for coverage. I called them and left them messages yet no one ever called me back. On June 10th, I noticed a crack in the liquid display and I called Cell Helmet to see about coverage, as I bought the more expensive plan with the $300 coverage. Of course, they never called me back. The company is shady and I wish I read these comments and complaints before I purchased.

I purchased cellhelmet at Ubreakifix on 1/31. I waited the 24hrs to register. After completing my registration and taking a picture of the receipt I thought everything was set. No indication from the app or company that anything was entered incorrectly. On 6/24 my screen broke and had ubreakifix the screen which in return was giving the receipt for $241 and told to file a claim with cellhelmet. Upon filing my claim it was denied due to uploading a picture of myself and not a mirror image of my phone screen. First off how are you suppose to take a picture of the screen of the phone your using. 2nd why would I take a picture of myself to upload to them. 3rd the registration never should have said complete if it actually was not completed. Look at reveiws and you'll know exactly what their business model is.This company is a complete scam to just sell a product with no intention on honoring a reimbursement policy.

Cellhelmet Liquid+ requires registration for the $300 1 year warranty coverage. In my opinion, this application performs poorly during registration causing denial of claims if you need to file a warranty claim. The company is slow to respond, and will only respond via email, not reachable by phone for direct customer service needs or live chat. DO NOT register this product in this app within 24hrs of purchase or they will deny the claim. (the warranty is no good for 24hrs after purchase giving the product cure time) "fine print". The app requires pictures of the phone screen using a "clean" mirror and the front facing camera to assure you are not registering a damaged or broken screen but this position is not "a selfie" it is an awkward hand position and not easy to do, You touch the screen to take the picture and it doesn't respond, causing you to adjust your grip and then the picture is saved. This human error will allow them to deny the claim later. ihave spent over $500

Kane & McHenry Enterprises I purchased the cell helmet liquid screen protector with the $300 reimbursement option in July

I purchased the cell helmet liquid screen protector with the $300 reimbursement option in July . I registered my product within 30 days and received a policy number. I figured all was good and I was covered. My screen cracked in December. I called cell helmet before taking the phone anywhere and to make sure it was covered. They checked when I called and I was told to take it and get it fixed and send in the receipt. I did so this month and submitted the receipt. Apparently I didn't take the picture of the phone correctly when registering. I am not sure how a policy number was given to me if I didn't even do it correctly. Either way, that's on me and I wouldn't have gotten it fixed because it was a tiny crack. My issue is that I called before getting it fixed and was TOLD to take it and get it fixed and I'd be reimbursed no problem. Did anyone actually check this? I am now out 307 dollars plus the product cost. They refuse to stand by the fact that I was told to replace it when thought my policy was void (not to my knowledge at the time)

Claim Number(s): *** I filed a reembursment claim with cellhelmet that was denied because the device was regestered after the approved 30 day from install. I called and emailed thier customer support and was told that i had to wait for the previous reembursment request to be resolved before i could upload a new device. Which I did with more help from customer service. Both thier phone records notes and my emails confirm this. Cellhelmet claim audits will not honor what its claim center support puts out, and told me to contact claim center suppervisor for a resolution. That was March 11th. The suppervisor said that he would have to contact Corporate to assist with this and contact me back. I have called back several times and have not gotten a responce other than corporate will contact you. Suppervisors won't even answer anymore.

This company advertises all over they guarantee their product. This is what is on their website:LIFETIME WARRANTY Stop worrying and relax! cellhelmet products, excluding Liquid Glass, are backed by a Lifetime Warranty. We believe so strongly in our product that we stand behind every one we make, so that you can buy with confidence. I provided them with proof of purchase and their pin cards. They will not honor their lifetime warranty. They were unable to find my registered phone in their system via my name, cell number, or pin numbers. Either way they should honor their Lifetime Warranty as posted and advertised.

I contacted Cellhelmet in March, I had just gotten my Samsung Galaxy tab A back from the shop and decided I should have liquid glass put on it again. I purchased the liquid glass for $50 for a total of $300 protection. When I went the next day online to register the product it told me that since it was a 10 digit code I needed to email it, so that's what I did. Thinking that I'd was all taken care of o had to submit a claim in April because of a.cracked screen, I located the original email and emailed this person back. They had told me to enter the code I to the site, even though it wouldn't allow me and said to email...well now I'm being told since it's past 30 days from purchase I cannot register the product now, which is ridiculous because I clearly emailed a day after I purchased it and followed instructions on how to properly register. Now I have a broken tablet and no reimbursement and out $50 for a FAKE product...they are SCAMMERS for sure.

1 month ago, I acquired a Cell Helmet screen protector where the advertisement said that if my phone's screen broke, I would be refunded with $ 300. my cell phone screen broke while using the film. it took a long time for me to get an answer, and now they say that they already sent the check and that the check was cashed. But that is not true. until today the check has not arrived for me. I was a victim of misleading advertising.

Kane & McHenry Enterprises I had my phone repaired in July by Repair Logix

I had my phone repaired in July by Repair Logix. Luis pushed the cell helmet product and said it would protect my screen and if it didn't, I would be reimbursed. I did everything they asked, downloaded the app and took pictures. I received and email and said the reg. was complete. A few months later I noticed a crack on my screen. I took it back to Repair Logix for repair. This time he put a different screen protector on it (oddly, for free). I tried to file my claim through the app but the link was incorrect. I tried to call the number over 5 times and could not get a person to talk to so I sent an email. They replied that they did have my registration and they would get back to me. They never did. I emailed again, and this time they said that because I registered the same day, the warranty is void (!?). I emailed Repair Logix for help. He was actually able to get a hold of someone to talk to and this time was told that the registration date I had entered was different than my receipt. I can not verify this information because there is no where on the app that says anything about it. Their word against mine, I guess. This company is a total scam and I am due the replacement cost of my screen!

I purchased the Liquid Glass Pro+ in July. It broke in December. I submitted a claim in December to be reimbursed for the $300 as per the agreement. At the same time, I purchased another Liquid Glass Pro+. I did not think the liquid glass was at fault. I just thought that it must have dropped on a weak spot. I thought nothing of purchasing a second one since I knew I would be reimbursed for the first. I have been in contact with them since December asking about the status of my refund. I have all of the emails that we exchanged. After having been in contact with them since December, I finally received an email the end of February saying that my claim had been denied! They said I sent them a picture of myself in the mirror. I did that at their direction, holding the phone so that they could see the phone screen was not damaged at the time of registration. They are now saying that I never registered. If that was so, why did they wait until Feb to tell me

I purchased the cellhelmet liquid screen and thought I registered it correctly. There is no customer service number to inquire about product questions. Apparently, I never did register the product and I was not aware. When I reached out (by email there is no phone number that will put you through to a live person) I was told that my porduct was not registered correctly, and that the "instructions were clear". I am actually offended as someone who has a master's degree, I can read and I am highly offended that someone would have the audacity to say the instructions were clear to do a particular something. The way I see it, if the instructions were so clear, I would have done them correctly! Since this company will not honor my claim for a new screen, and the entire process is not clear or user friendly, I am seeking a full refund in the product that I originally purchased.

Kane & McHenry Enterprises I purchased CellHelmet's liquid Pro glass strengthener and had it applied at UBreakiFix approximately 3 months ago

I purchased CellHelmet's liquid Pro glass strengthener and had it applied at UBreakiFix approximately 3 months ago. I registered my product, which guarantees the screen up to $300 replacement value. My son dropped my phone, in which my screen shattered (the product does not work clearly) and I called them. They told me to take it into the shop to have it repaired and then to call back and start the claim. I took it to the same shop that I purchased the product from, they replaced my screen at an out of pocket cost of $313.91. I called, started the claim, uploaded the receipt and then the next day denied my claim. Claim # *** because I had not taken a mirrored picture of my device. However, when registering, you must register the device's IMEI number. When repaired, the receipt clearly shows the SAME IMEI number, therefore showing it is the exact same device. I pointed this out to the CSR and said that should be enough to guarantee the warranty that I PAID for. I then asked to speak to a manager who promptly hung up on me when I pointed that out. This company does not make a quality product, stand behind it, or honor their warranty. They ripped me off. If I had wanted to spend $300+ on my phone, I could have just purchased a new one, however I took it in based on their recommendation to be repaired and reimbursed.

Hello, I have contacted cell helmet online through their email several times. This company sells screen protectors for cell phones with a warranty. The price of the screen protector represents different levels of warranty coverage. I purchased the $300 level. I have tried to contact the company multiple times. I only received one response from "Eli," saying that they did not find my email address to be associated with any purchases. When I wrote back to explain that it might be under my husband's address and reached out to see if there was any more information I could provide to verify, they would not respond. I am getting blank email responses with numbers in the bottom corner indicating how many emails I have sent. I think it is up to 6 or 7 now. I had to pay $300 to get my phone fixed, yesterday, and no indication at all if I am going to get my money back or any reimbursement. I tried calling the long distance number I found online and it is just a recording. I bought the product locally, through a business that fixes phones.

Kane & McHenry Enterprises The current issue is regarding a warranty claim being denied by the company for repairs to my cell phone

The current issue is regarding a warranty claim being denied by the company for repairs to my cell phone. Their issue is, at the time I registered the product, I submitted an incorrect photo of my phone that would have shown the condition of my phone at time of purchase and application of their product. I was only made aware of the issue when I attempted to file a claim. I explained to them if there was an issue on the photo that was submitted, as a company, they should have made me aware so I could resolve that issue in a timely manner. I explained to them I was not making a fraudulent claim, especially, when I utilized repairs from the business that sold me their product. I have spoken to reps at UbreakIFix, in Helotes, Texas, where I purchased their product and they informed me this isnt the first time they have reneged on a claim for very minor details such as misspelling or type-os or some extremely minor issue that could have been remedied had it been brought to the attention of the person registering their product. While I agree I did send the wrong photo, it was up to the company to make me aware of the issue at the time the product was registered in order to properly register to product so I may file a claim. Then, as a final insult, they have a audacity to offer me a discount code to purchase another product of theirs.

Kane & McHenry Enterprises I purchased two cell phone screen protectors for my fiance and I for $69.99 each at a walk-in cell phone repair store

I purchased two cell phone screen protectors for my fiance and I for $69.99 each at a walk-in cell phone repair store. The Cell Helmet screen protectors have a up-to $300.00 warranty if your phone is damaged after applying the protector and registering the device. We registered the phones after purchase and I managed to crack my cell phone screen roughly 3 weeks afterwards. I filed a claim immediately with all the necessary documentation and was informed I'd receive a response from a representative within 48 hours. I did not receive contact from Cell Helmet in regards to my claim for over 4 days so I sent a follow-up email requesting they provide assistance for my claim. I was responded to the following day informing me that I registered a broken device and refused to provide their warranty service and was re-directed to a phone number with an automated service, which led to no where. I have yet to receive any explanation as to why they assumed I was registering a broken device, the only thing was offered was a 50% discount of a new screen protector. I even provided several photographs of my receipt/proof of purchase and the date my device was registered and received no response regards to that This seems like a scam to me, I followed all the directions provided in order to file the warranty claim but was denied my warranty for a bogus reason.

Kane & McHenry Enterprises On 6/17, my wife and I purchased cellhelmet/UBIF Liquid Glass--$100 coverage at $39.99 plus tax, while at UBREAKIT located at 4450 Eastgate S

On 6/17, my wife and I purchased cellhelmet/UBIF Liquid Glass--$100 coverage at $39.99 plus tax, while at UBREAKIT located at 4450 Eastgate S. Drive, Suite #230 Cincinnati, OH 45245, getting my phone screen replaced. I figured that it was a good idea to get cell helmet's screen protector to prevent breakage on new screen. That was a mistake. Approximately 1 month ago (around 8/17) my screen cracked again. It was near the top of the screen, not near the HOME button. As my phone still worked, and I am busy with 2 jobs, I did nothing. Last night my phone stopped working, due to the cracks that just got bigger and longer. I went back to UBREAKIFIX (same location). They would not honor $100 warranty. Today, I had to pay another $79.99 plus $.07 sales tax) totalling $85.59 to get a new screen. Cell Helmet is giving me the run around. I have called Customer Service Multiple times, been placed on hold and actually spoke to a rep named Manny and eventually a supervisor, named Rogee. My wife registered the product to maintain the warranty, but Cell Helmet does not have this down. Even if she had not registered the product, does Cell Helmet stand behind their product? I have a copy of receipt of purchase from 6/17, totalling $128.38 ($79.99 for screen replacement and $39.99 for liquid screen protector--plus .07 % tax). I am EXTREMELY disappointed that CELL HELMET is not standing behind their product

Kane & McHenry Enterprises I broke the screen on my new Note 9 and took it to UBreakIFix for repair at my own expense at which time I also purchased the cell helmet case

I broke the screen on my new Note 9 and took it to UBreakIFix for repair at my own expense at which time I also purchased the cell helmet case with $300 screen reimbursement insurance 11/20. I registered the product with the timeframe in the instructions. My screen broke in April, within the 1 year insurance timeframe. I called Cell Helmet to find out how to file a claim and they acknowledged I was covered, advised me to take the phone for repairs and submit the receipt to them afterwards at which time they would reimburse me up to $300. I had the phone repaired at UBreakIFix and uploaded the receipt to Cell Helmet. After a few days, I received an email from Cell Helmet denying my claim. They advised that the photo I uploaded when I registered for the insurance was not a good photo. They had 5 months to advise that they needed a different photo and they also previously told me that I was covered prior to having the phone repaired. If they needed a different photo, they should have advised me when I registered and they also should not have told me to repair the phone and that they would reimburse me afterwards. I see that several people have filed complaints with the same issue I am having. This is a problem that needs to be handled by Cell Helmet prior to people breaking their phones and filing claims months later. I also had UBreakIFix send a letter to Cell Helmet explaining the fact that my phone was in perfect condition when i purchased the insurance, since they repaired it and I paid for it myself the first time. I haven't received any response from Cell Helmet about that letter and email in almost 2 weeks. I tried calling 2 different numbers without getting any assistance.

Kane & McHenry Enterprises I purchased Cell Helmet on Nov 14, 2019 on the recommendation of UBreakIfixit on *** I was hesitant because of the price

I purchased Cell Helmet on Nov 14, 2019 on the recommendation of UBreakIfixit on *** I was hesitant because of the price being $50,--all I needed was a screen protector which generally cost $20. UbreakIfix assured me it was a good product and to spend the additional dollars as this Cell Helmet product came with a warranty. So I purchased it and immediately registered the warranty(Nov 15,2019-- warranty is for one year) and received a letter back confirming my registration. The CELL HELMET product DOES NOT work - within one month my phone had a major screen crack so I went back to UbreakIfix to repair. They informed me I had to pay them ($220 repair)and then contact Cell Helmet for my warranty reimbursement. I was not happy about that but went ahead. When I contacted Cell helmet with my registration information for the warranty I had from November 15, they came back to me and said my registration was not valid because I did not take a picture of my phone before the Cell Helmet application on my phone. This is the most ludicrous thing I ever heard. First, if a picture was required before the cell helmet application how would I know a picture was required and would not that be the responsibility of UBreakIfix? Second, even if I knew I should take a picture, how would I take a picture if my phone is my camera-- do they expect me to go buy a camera, and, third, why would ubreakIfix put cellhelmet on an already cracked phone? None of this makes sense. CELL HELMET IS SCAM AND ARE MAKINGMONEY OFF INNOCENT PEOPLE. I PAID 50 FOR THIS CRAPPY PRODUCT AND THEN ANOTHER 223 FOR REPAIR. All I needed was a 20 screen cover. This company needs to be stopped immediately for scamming people. I would like my money back but more I would like this company to stop hurting innocent people

Kane & McHenry Enterprises I purchased a CellHelmet Altitude Pro Series case on December 19 for $75.00, and registered it immediately with the help of the store

I purchased a CellHelmet Altitude Pro Series case on December 19 for $75.00, and registered it immediately with the help of the store clerk at the store. On October 5, I called CellHelmet as instructed and was told that my warranty was still valid since it has not been 1 year since it was registered. I was then instructed by CellHelmet's customer service to file a claim online, which I did. After no response in 2 weeks, I called the claim number and was promised that they would call back within 24 hours. I called again today and was told that my claim was denied with no explanation given. I then contacted customer service on chat and the response was "You needed to wait 24 hours to register it. The date of purchase was entered incorrectly, which allowed you to register it the same day. The registration can not be completed until 24 hours after the purchase. The date was changed to allow the registration on the same day as the product was purchased and to bypass the 24 hour waiting period. This program requires registration after 24 hours of purchase. You have registered your product on the same day it was purchased, therefore, the policy is invalid.". That made no sense to me. Why would a customer change the date while registering on the purchase date? That makes absolutely no sense, and I asked for proof that the purchase date was entered incorrectly. Following their representative's instructions, I went to the same store where I purchased the CellHelmet case and they repaired my screen at the cost of $350 and CellHelmet per the warranty should refund $300, which they are refusing to refund anything. No where on the packaging states that you need to wait 24 hours before registering. Instead it only states that registration must be done within 30 days if purchase. I even called a few days after registering the product, to confirm registration, and cellnet rep said it was registered. I even received my pin #. Not once did they say the registration was invalid before I filed the claim. My claim is valid and should be paid.

Kane & McHenry Enterprises I purchased Cellhelmet glass protection for multiply devices

I purchased Cellhelmet glass protection for multiply devices. My child's phone shattered. I called and began the warranty process. I got approval to have my phone repaired. I was told to have it repaired and submit the receipt. Once repaired, I submitted the receipt. My claim was denied because it was the wrong device. However, when I called and made the claim, it was approved. They tell me the picture for that particular warranty is from a watch. I do in fact have a watch that is protected. I simply made a claim on the wrong account. Since they had photos, they should have been able to tell me it was the wrong account from the onset. I did have a call from someone who went through all my warranties with me. He and I had things straightened out I thought. Then later that evening, I got an email rejecting my claim. I have 5 accounts. I don't know which account goes with which device. But from my conversation, THEY DO. I simply want someone to call me so I can file my claim under the correct warranty. IF I would have known they were not going to reimburse my claim, I would have filed the damage under applecare and paid the $29. But since I had their pre-approval, I took it to a local shop- where I bought the product. I paid the $229 + tx. I expected full reimbursement as per my phone conversation. I am now seeking the reimbursement that I am entitled to by one of my warranties. If someone would simply call me, I am sure this could be resolved. I received one phone call - on my CHILD's line and I asked for a return call in 15 minutes to MY phone. I am working from home as many of us are. I have given both my cell and my home. The most recent response on trust pilot says they have tried to contact me repeatedly. They have not. I have repeatedly asked- by email and live chat- for them to call me, the PARENT. I want them to pay for my repair as per the guarantee that I paid for and had PRE-APPROVED over the phone. If I gave the wrong warranty they should have known when I called for the approval. Just call me and we can again go through all my cellhelmet purchases. This has been going on for many weeks.

Kane & McHenry Enterprises purchased cellhelmet liquid screen protector from retail vendor when picking my phone up for a repair

purchased cellhelmet liquid screen protector from retail vendor when picking my phone up for a repair. While in the store I purchased the liquid screen protector and it was installed by the repair facility employee. Product was registered same day (within 30 minutes of purchase) and I received a registration confirmation. Product was on the phone screen for 5 days when the screen broke again (phone was placed in my pocket, I st down realized I needed to answer a txt I had received earlier and removed phone from pocket to find it had broke ) Called the warranty line and was told to have the phone repaired then to upload receipt to the claims website and it would be reimbursed. I did as instructed and was emailed saying registration was invalid and reimbursement would not be made. Emailed customer service and they would not help me other than to say that it was my fault and that they would give me a discount on another product ( kind of like telling someone who got food poisoning from your bbq reaturaunt you'll give then a discount on tainted meat). Responded back and copy and pasted their registration requirements (that they emailed me a copy of to show me it was my fault) and asked them to show me by their own statement where I did not meet the registration requirements. They responded back with the following : Hi ***, I am sorry for the confusion and the back and forth, but we are not going to pay out this claim. This is an invalid registration and I have sent you our full terms and conditions. Since we had no proof at the time of registration that your phone was not already damaged, you did not fulfill the requirements. Have a very good day and let me know if you would like that discount code I offered. Now I bought this.product while picking the phone up from having the screen replaced, it was applied by the store before I left the location. It was registered inside of the store with the store employees assistance. I have receipts showing pickup time, purchasd time, and I'm pretty sure there's some where that shows what time it was registered. But now you're telling me that the phone could have been damaged within the 30 minutes of me walking into the store paying my insurance deductible, paying a 2nd transaction to b uy the product and having it applied and registering it while inside the store where I didn't even touch my phone until the registration process began? I offered to send proof of repair pickup time? Product purchase time and a screen shot of the verification of registration from the app.

Kane & McHenry Enterprises I purchased a liquid screen protector and cell phone case from UBREAKIFIX

I purchased a liquid screen protector and cell phone case from UBREAKIFIX. I registered both products within the 30 day time limit. The app requires you to take a picture of your cell phone screen which is difficult to do...as the app did not have any ability for me to change the picture or add additional pictures. I accidentally took a picture of the back of my phone instead of the front/screen and had no ability to take a different picture or more pictures for the liquid protector registration. I immediately contacted costumer service via the app and explained the situation via email. Right after the app said my liquid protector was successfully registered I figured out how to take a picture of my screen correctly and registered my cell phone case with a picture of my screen. The app indicated that was successfully registered. Customer service responded via email and said the registration for my liquid protector is invalid due to the incorrect picture submitted and indicated they will not accept the picture submitted for the cellphone case registration that was taken within 5 minutes of registering the liquid protector! I even emailed them another picture of my screen showing it's in perfect condition. So now if my screen ever breaks they will not honor the warranty! The only reason I purchased the products was bc of the warranty they claim they honor. In addition I never received email confirmation of either registration which is conveniently required if I ever need to make a warranty claim! yet the app shows both products are registered.. the app also states that I should contact customer service if email confirmation of product registration is not recieved...so clearly this must be a common issue. I have never had problems receiving email confirmations from other companies. when I contacted customer service via email thru the app they confirmed the registration but said they cant help me with the email confirmation issue and to check my spam mail (which I did prior to emailing them!). When I responded back that their own app instructed me to.contact THEM if no email confirmation is received they responded by telling me my cell phone registration is of record. However it appears the app intentionally does not send email confirmation so that they can deny future warranty claims... I find it highly suspicious that I received no email confirmation for any.of the products I registered...especially since the process is separate for each product. The app also only allows users to take 1 picture of the screen...yet I have reviewed numerous complaints that customers warranty claims were denied bc the company rejected the picture of the screen after the item was successfully registered... how convenient... if the company truly wanted accurate photos of the screen during registration the app should allow users to submit more than 1 photos of the screen.
