Keen Pomeranians review: Dog breeder

People like Carol Keen are why breeders have a bad reputation. I started working with Carol - aka Keen Pomeranians - in August 2020. She lured me into her web by offering to give me "sneak peeks" of a pup that was 4 weeks old at the time. We had a good initial conversation, we texted a lot and spoke on the phone a couple of times. She seemed very passionate about her dogs and protective of where the pups went, what they ate etc. She was very particular, which seemed like a lot at first, but I took it as a sign that she cared.

Over the next month, we made plans to meet the last week of September (I booked flights and hotel rooms to meet her just outside of New Orleans), I purchased the food and supplies she reccommended. On September 1, she sent more pictures and videos of my adorable puppy. I was in love and thought I was good to go! But I wasn't.

On September 10, I was set to pay my deposit and asked Carol for a paypal link. She responded via text "Due to complications from the wreck, we have put all transactions on hold. Thank you for your understanding" And then nothing...no more interactions. She would not return my calls or texts or emails! I was heartbroken!

A friend of mine did some research and found other people who have had a similiar and worse experience. Worse as in the puppies had Parvo and selling adult dogs that are pregnant to unsuspecting victims. Here are a few of the links he found. And there is more. Do your research.

It seems she is selling sick puppies and I am fearful that she is mistreating the adult dogs too!

Carol Keen is not a good person! Do not work with or support her! She needs to be put out of business and legally reprimanded!
