I bought a car from Ken Ganley Kia Boardman and it broke down just two miles after leaving the lot
I bought a car from Ken Ganley Kia Boardman and it broke down just two miles after leaving the lot. They didn't handle the situation well, but eventually, I managed to get a different car. Unfortunately, this car has also broken down. I reached out to my warranty provider to arrange for a tow and check if the repair is covered. However, it turns out that Taylor, the person I dealt with, never transferred my warranty to the new car. Now, I'm missing work because I can't get the rental car that should be covered by my warranty.
I bought a 2013 Kia *** from this dealership on August 1st, 2022
I bought a 2013 Kia *** from this dealership on August 1st, 2022. At first, they tried to charge me for a warranty I didn't want, but I managed to sort that out. Now, it's been eight weeks and I still haven't gotten my plates and registration. My bank hasn't received the title either. It seems like they sold the car without having the proper paperwork. This dealership hardly ever calls back and it's really annoying to deal with.
Taylor Kia of Boardman lied to Ken Ganley Kia Boardman about the actual mileage on our vehicle we leased in February last year
Taylor Kia of Boardman lied to Ken Ganley Kia Boardman about the actual mileage on our vehicle we leased in February last year. They listed 495 miles on the lease contract, but in reality, it had more miles on it because it was a demo. I have all the documentation and service history to prove this. It took me a while to file a complaint because I only found out about this fraud last week when I spoke to Ken Ganley Kia Boardman about my lease contract and realized we were close to exceeding our mileage. I remember questioning them at the time of signing, but they lied to me about the mileage discrepancy. I found out this week that they lied because if they had listed the correct mileage, the vehicle wouldn't have been eligible for leasing through Ken Ganley Kia Boardman, as they only allow vehicles with up to 495 miles to be leased as new. This caused us to exceed our mileage limit sooner than expected.

hoto of the leaky tire
hoto of the leaky tire. I hope they finally take some action and resolve this issue. It's frustrating to wait for so long without any updates. I've been a loyal customer for years, but this experience has left me disappointed. I understand that things can go wrong, but the lack of communication and delay in resolving the problem is not acceptable. I hope they value their customers and take this matter seriously.
This place has some issues that came up for me
This place has some issues that came up for me. When we got to the negotiation part, they gave me my credit score and the monthly payment rate based on that. I asked why it was so high, and they said it's because my credit is below 700 (697). So, we negotiated for a higher interest rate but lower payments based on that score. About 2 weeks later, I got a different credit check from another bank that they ran, and the score was 721. Now I think they purposely chose a different credit check to start the negotiations, which led to my rate changing.
They also told me I would get a follow-up check for $1000 towards the car. I had the option to take the check or return the car. The check came, and I went to the dealership to say I didn't want it and wanted to return the vehicle. They didn't accept this and I talked to 3 different people about my credit score and the return. When I asked to speak to the business owner, they said they wouldn't call and kept denying that the credit had any impact on the purchase and that the return couldn't be confirmed.
They also said my tags/plates would be mailed to my apartment with this purchase. But they haven't arrived yet, and I'm already 4 days past the temporary tag expiration date. I might have to pay a fee because of the expired temporary tag. I called today (1/14) around 2 pm to talk to someone, but they didn't call me back after I left a message.
I took my car to Ken Ganley Kia Boardman for some repairs
I took my car to Ken Ganley Kia Boardman for some repairs. They told me that my rear brakes and calipers needed to be replaced, as well as my front brakes. They said the front brakes could wait, but the rear brakes and calipers needed immediate replacement. I agreed to have the work done.
About a week later, I started hearing a grinding noise from my car and noticed that it wasn't stopping properly, like it did after the rear brake job. Unfortunately, I couldn't bring it back to the dealership right away due to personal reasons.
One day, while I was driving to pick up my kids from school, I completely lost control of my brakes and couldn't stop the car. This happened as I was getting off the highway. Luckily, there wasn't any traffic, so I managed to slow down enough and safely turn onto the road. Since I needed a vehicle, I had to rent one. I then took the rented car to a mechanic, thinking that the problem was with my front brakes.
After the mechanic inspected both the front and rear brakes, they informed me that the issue was actually with the rear passenger caliper and rotor. The caliper had failed, which caused me to lose control of my car's braking system. I was able to take my car back to the dealership, where they fixed the problem by replacing the rear passenger caliper and rotor/pads.
It turns out that the issue was not due to faulty equipment, but rather faulty workmanship. This mistake could have put my life and the lives of my children in danger. I am requesting a refund for the original repair job, as well as the cost of renting a car, which amounts to approximately $***..
