Toyota scammed me!
Called Toyota Corporation to find out if a major part in my Prius could have been swapped for older part. They asked me to bring my car into to Toyota Clearwater and in fact called there for me. Set up the appointment for inspection. I was told $175.00. They agreed to inspection and charged me $425.00 in which they did not verify the original part was not changed. They took pictures, which I already had of the parts number. I called back to Toyota Corporation and they stated it would take 3 to 5 days to get to my case. Ironically spoke with customer relations today and he called Toyota corporation and case is closed. Don't trust them because I sure don't

Them bugs bit me in many spots, and when I told the folks in charge to get rid of all the couches, they only took away the one I was sittin' on. I'm worried that more folks will get hurt and there'll be a big bed bug problem.

They messed up when they fixed the recall on our Corolla. We brought it in for an airbag recall, but when we got it back, there was this annoying rattle in the dashboard. I told them right away, but now they won't even bother calling me back to fix it. The car belongs to Rebekah Holland, but I handle everything for her since she's sick with Lupus and spends most of her time in bed.

Never buy a used car from Clearwater Toyota or trust their so-called "expert" inspections. They promised me free perks like oil changes and car washes, but it was all just talk. Even though I asked to have my own mechanic check the car, they insisted that their mechanics were the best because they had some fancy certifications. Turns out, they had already done an oil change and claimed it was free for three months. But guess what? They had used JB Weld to fix the oil plug, and the filter was still the original one from when the car was first made! They straight-up lied to me. Now I'm stuck paying $900 for new parts and a mechanic to fix the entire oil pan, plug, and gasket. Can't trust these guys at all.

Firstly, I visited Clearwater Toyota for service on February 17th. I received the paperwork for the service, but today I noticed that my windshield water was empty. I had to purchase some and went to fill my car. However, when I opened the hood, I discovered that the engine cover was missing. It's quite concerning that they didn't even bother to inform me about this oversight. I would have never known if I hadn't checked myself. To address this issue, I have been repeatedly calling their customer service number, but unfortunately, no one has answered my calls. This is not the first time I have faced such difficulties with this dealership, as I had previously purchased a car from them and was coerced into buying an extended warranty that I didn't actually need. They seem to enjoy playing with words and lack honesty in their dealings.
In an attempt to resolve this matter, I approached Michael B., the Customer Relations Manager. However, his attitude towards me was disrespectful and disdainful. He even used inappropriate language, stating that if he were in the same situation, he would use foul language. Furthermore, he ordered an engine cover that doesn't even belong to my car. It felt as though he was treating me like a slave who had been bought from a market. It's important to note that I hold US citizenship and should be treated with the respect and dignity that any human being deserves, regardless of my country of origin.
Overall, my experience with Clearwater Toyota has been extremely unsatisfactory. The lack of communication, dishonesty, and disrespectful behavior from their staff, particularly the Customer Relations Manager, is unacceptable. As a customer, I expect to be treated fairly and with integrity. I hope that Clearwater Toyota takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving their customer service and overall experience.

Services not done even though we paid for them. We bought a 2021 Toyota Sienna Hybrid from Clearwater Toyota on January 24, and we've had 2 problems with the car that they haven't fixed. First, the sales guy, Christopher S., said they would tint our windows as part of the deal. But when we looked at the Finance Paperwork, we saw that we actually paid for the service. I texted Christopher on February 6, to ask who I should talk to about getting the windows tinted. Christopher said he could schedule the appointment and asked when would be a good day (via text). He scheduled it for March 6th at 12 pm and said he would be there if there were any issues. But when we got there on March 6th at 12 pm, they said they couldn't tint the windows because they were already tinted. We told them we paid for it and asked to talk to Christopher. Christopher talked to the Manager, Brent, and Brent said, "the deal is done, if you don't know the windows are tinted, it's not our problem." I talked to the General Manager, Mo, on the phone on March 6th for 30 minutes, and he said what happened wasn't professional. He asked for 2 days to work on the issue and the second problem (see detailed issue below) with the Rear Entertainment not working. I told him I had to buy new devices and a new Android Tablet because of the Rear Entertainment not working, which cost me over $2,000. But I haven't heard back from Mo about fixing the payment issue and the Rear Entertainment problem. Second problem - When we bought the car, the Rear Entertainment system didn't work with an iPhone. Christopher and a Manager had to Google how to fix it. I called and texted Christopher many times, but they didn't fix the Rear Entertainment problem. Clearwater Toyota hasn't done anything to fix these problems.

Recall repair done, but more problems now. Brought my 2018 Toyota Sienna to Clearwater Toyota in August/September for a fuel pump recall. Car stalled after pumping gas, so I searched online and found out about the recall. Went to the dealership and they confirmed it. Left my car for repair. While it was there, they called and said the battery was dead. I told them I hadn't had any battery issues, so I didn't want a new one installed. When I picked up my car, they said the recall was fixed but warned me that the check engine light might come on. They said I could bring it back at my expense if it did. I was confused because the check engine light hadn't come on before. Same day I got the car back, it wouldn't start after I pumped gas. Next day, the check engine light came on. I called and spoke to a manager who remembered my car, but said the issues weren't related to the repair. They didn't take responsibility and told me to look elsewhere for the problem. They used technical terms instead of explaining in simple words. I'm not a mechanic, but I tried to understand. What I did understand was that they didn't want to admit any fault. I'll say it again: the same day I got my car back, it wouldn't start. The next day, the check engine light came on. Since the recall repair, my 2018 van has had more problems than ever. I never had any issues with this car until the repair. Problems like RPM, stalling, revving up, not starting, the computer talking through the radio (saying throttle issues or transmission issues), the check engine light going on and off. These things never happened until after the recall repair. I don't think it's a coincidence. My car's safety is now compromised. I don't feel safe driving it, but I have no choice. It's my only car. I want them to assess and fix these symptoms and admit that they might have been wrong.
