Booked a flight on Kissandfly through Skyscanner, paid by card and had the amount deducted from the bank account and got sent a payment confirmation email by Kissandfly, with the actual ticket confirmation pending. Almost 20 minutes later I get sent an email from Kissandfly saying my the airline won't confirm my booking due to price change and me getting a full refund, yet the fees weren't sent back to my account. I contacted their customer care by phone but unfortunately no one to speak to, only automated messages, with one saying to chat with a customer care rep on their website, which I did with them saying the amount will be sent back within 24 hours due to bank processing on my part, yet the amount was already deducted. Today the customer care chat icon isn't even visible anymore so I have no way of contacting them, and they do not respond by email.
This is the absolute worst agency to book a flight from, I don't even know why Skyscanner would associate themselves with those scammers.
Recommendation: Scammers, you're better off booking from the airlines direct and not deal with these scammers

After contacting the bank with this information, they said that the fund are held by Visa, and will be held until Kissandfly cancels the transaction from their end after which the money will automatically be deposited in the account. I called Kissandfly again and was met with terrible customer care with the agent hanging up the call when I was mid speaking, even though I was polite, didn't shout and was explaining my situation to her and then hanging up again after I redialed. After calling a third time I was answered by a different agent who was polite and said the transaction was cancelled from their end but she has no proof at the moment and will contact their financial department to send me proof of cancellation.
Really, really poor customer service, terrible and unprofessional customer service agent who hangs up while a customer with a complaint is speaking.

On 3/8/2024 I booked a flight on Kissandfly from Addis Ababa to DXB, with the flight supposedly being on 12/8/2024. I paid by card, received a payment confirmation email from Kissandfly with the ticket pending processing by the airlines and the amount being fully deducted from my account. Around 20 minutes later I received an email from Kissandfly saying that my booking hasn't been confirmed by the airlines due to changing prices and that the amount will be refunded back to my account, yet no amount was refunded. I contacted them by email, no response, called several of their customer care numbers all with automated recordings saying I should use the chat feature on their website, with no actual customer care rep on the phone. I contacted them via the chat and the customer care rep or AI bot responded saying I will be refunded during 24 hours and that the issue is due to processing issues from the bank, even though the amount was fully deducted from my account. 24 hours later no refund and the chat icon on their website isn't even there and no response via email.
Kissandfly rep, the bank was contacted again and we received the same response, the amount is locked with Visa and can't be unlocked unless it is cancelled from you end, after which visa will contact the bank to unlock the fund.
Unfortunately there is nothing to do from my side and all action is to be taken from you end by communicating that you have cancelled the transaction with Visa.
Your experience with KissandFly was a bit like booking a flight to paradise, only to end up on a layover in frustration city! Getting a payment confirmation but no ticket is the kind of suspense nobody asked for, especially when it feels like you're speaking to a wall instead of a customer service rep.
Hopefully, the refund lands in your account soon and you can leave this whole experience on the runway where it belongs. Maybe next time, you'll find a travel agency that's less of a turbulence ride and more of a smooth flight!
