I got my first glasses from Kits for absolutely no cost at all. They arrived super fast, and they even threw in a free pair of sunnies. The glasses are top-notch and look real snazzy. I'd definitely buy from Kits again.

I ordered the Featherlite glasses from Kits and boy, did I get more than I bargained for! These glasses are so thick, it's like I'm wearing magnifying lenses. I'm considering returning them, but I have a feeling they'll just come up with some excuse or won't even bother trying to fix the issue. I've ordered other glasses with the same prescription from them before and I have them side by side to compare. The difference is clear as day. Should I waste my time trying to get them to correct their mistake? Maybe. I had them sent to my cousin for pickup, so I didn't receive them until after Christmas. When I finally got them and compared them to another pair, it was confirmed that they are much thicker.

UPDATE: I received an email apology from Kits, but it was addressed to my cousin because of the shipping name. I told them to read my reply, where I mentioned that their email stated a reply would help them fix the problem. To my surprise, the next email I received was almost identical to the first one, offering to correct the problem with a reply. I told them that I had already replied, pointing out that their apology seemed empty. They then offered to exchange the frames, which is the only part of the order that they actually got right. Maybe if they actually read my complaint and my reply, this whole situation would be different. It's clear that they care more about good reviews than providing good service. Typical.

In the rare occasion that everything goes smoothly, Kits is amazing. But when things go wrong, they couldn't care less. Right, Kits? Yeah, that's what I thought.

RESPONSE FROM KITS: So they called me, which was unexpected. They then proceeded to tell me that I misunderstood the prescription and that it's different for different frames. Okay, fine. But here's the thing, the lens thickness isn't 2mm thicker just because of that. I've been wearing prescription glasses since I was 10 years old, and I've ordered them both online and in-store. I even offered to send them a picture of the two frames side by side to physically show the differences. But they just brushed me off, saying I was wrong and mistaken. According to them, the glasses are supposed to make my eyes look bigger and my head smaller. Seriously? If I had ordered standard lenses, then sure, I would expect that. But I paid for the upgrades specifically to avoid that. They messed up, plain and simple. And instead of taking responsibility, they're trying to blame me. Well, guess what? I have other options. Don't tell me I can see the difference, even if I can't see it without assistance!

Save yourself the trouble and get the free glasses from Kits, but shop elsewhere for quality in both service and product. You won't find it here.

I've attached pictures to show the comparison. On the right side are my old thicker frames, and on the left side are the new thinner frames. That's why the lenses in the frames are 2mm thicker. I also included close-up shots of both frames, although it was a bit difficult to take them with just one hand.
