Trade-in value reduced by false claim that device is not factory reset
Purchased new phone from Google with trade-in of my old phone. The estimated trade in value was $405. I followed instructions to the letter including factory reset of my old phone. I have my wife as a witness. Google sent me an email, which you can see attached copy, that the phone was not factory reset and they reduced the trade in by $200. I called to complain and they said they will investigate. After "investigation" they sent me an email offering me a credit of $50 which I refused. I summited a complaint to BBB. I will never buy anything again from these cheap cheaters.
Google Store's Preferred Care - They can cancel without notice to you
In February, 2023, I purchased a Google Pixel 7 Pro 256 gb phone along with Preferred Care insurance. 2 weeks ago, I went to make a claim for the phone which was damaged beyond repair during a hike. After almost 2 weeks of "looking into it," I was advised that my Preferred Care was canceled by the "card payment" - This is not true because I opted to have the purchased through Google's own financing. There was no card. Also, they have no record of me canceling the insurance and no record of notifying me that the insurance was canceled. And yet, they are currently telling me that there is nothing they can do. What a scam and horrible customer service. I do not recommend purchasing through Google Store or purchasing Preferred Care.
Recommendation: Do not buy the Preferred Care through Google Store
Exceptional Customer Service and High-Quality Products: My Experience with Google Store
I decided to reach out to Google Store's customer support. As soon as I explained my situation, the representative on the other end was extremely helpful and empathetic towards my situation. They assured me that they would do everything in their power to expedite my delivery and get me my new phone as soon as possible.
Despite the delay in delivery due to the holidays, I was pleasantly surprised when my new phone arrived on the 8th of January, three days earlier than expected. Kudos to Google Store for going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction in a difficult situation.
Upon receiving my new phone, I was delighted with the quality of the product. The sleek design and exceptional camera quality exceeded my expectations. Additionally, navigating through the online store was a breeze; the layout was easy to navigate, and I appreciated the detailed descriptions and multiple photos provided for each product.
Overall, my experience with Google Store was fantastic. While the initial delay in delivery was frustrating, their exceptional customer service and high-quality products more than made up for it. I would highly recommend Google Store to anyone in the market for a new phone or other tech accessories.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Google Store: Pixel 5a Died After Two Months of Use
I recently had an unfortunate experience with the Google Store that left me feeling thoroughly disappointed. I purchased the much-hyped Pixel 5a from the store on 22 December, 2021, and eagerly awaited its arrival. However, my excitement quickly turned to frustration when, on 25 February 2022, the phone unexpectedly died a mere half-hour after I had plugged it in to charge while it was at 23%.
Naturally, I reached out to the customer service team at Google Store for help. After spending an arduous three-hour-long chat with four different representatives, I was ultimately advised to take the phone to a repair shop. I was extremely dissatisfied with the experience because, as a senior with a special needs grandson, I require a reliable phone. Additionally, my expectation for the company's customer service was higher, and I was dismayed by the insensitivity that was portrayed throughout our correspondence.
While I understand that technical glitches can happen with any product, it is the after-sales support and customer service that can make or break a company's reputation. As a comparison, I have previously experienced exceptional customer service from Costco and was hoping to receive the same kind of attention from Google Store. Unfortunately, the response that I received fell short of my expectations, and I was left feeling dissatisfied with my entire experience.
In conclusion, it is my belief that there are other companies out there with better customer service, and I would advise potential clients to avoid Google Store when considering a new purchase. The lack of care and empathy when addressing post-purchase issues is entirely unacceptable, and I hope that Google Store will take this feedback onboard and aim to improve in the future.
Disappointing customer support experience with Google Store for Google Fi and Pixel 6 purchase. No phone support and chat support language
When I decided to switch to Google Fi and buy a new Pixel 6 phone after having a great experience with my Pixel 3, I was excited to explore all that the Google Store (store.google.com) had to offer. However, my excitement was short-lived when I tried to get support to figure out how to transfer my numbers. What I found was that the only available support option was chat, and there was no phone support. While I understand that chat can be a convenient option, I prefer talking to people.
When I engaged with the customer support person on chat, I was disappointed to find that their English language proficiency was not up to the mark. Throughout the chat, they kept "explaining me," and I couldn't help but smile at the grammatical error. However, I was not there for learning English; I needed their support to figure out a way to transfer my numbers to the new phone. I politely asked them to focus on that rather than explaining who I am, to which the person did try to help, but the whole experience was a bit frustrating.
After this experience, I decided to stick with my current provider. Although I like the Pixel phones, dealing with incompetent customer support for something as critical as mobile service could be a nightmare. I hope Google Store takes note of this feedback and works on providing more reliable and accessible customer support.
Disappointed with Google's Customer Service: Slow, Unresponsive, and Lack of Urgency in Resolving Issue
I recently purchased a Google pixel 5a from the Google Store, but unfortunately, the item did not arrive as expected. Despite the tracking information indicating that the item had been delivered, I was left disappointed when it was nowhere to be found. To my dismay, Google's customer service team did not prioritize my concerns in the way that I would have liked. Instead of focusing on fulfilling the service by replacing or refunding the item, their response involved investigating with the courier service.
Despite my suggestion for a solution which involved locking the original phone and offering me a refund or replacement, no action was taken by Google's team. As time went on, my frustration grew as I expressed my displeasure on several occasions over the course of three days. However, the customer service response was less than satisfactory and not as constructive as I had hoped.
Finally, after waiting for a considerable amount of time and feeling like my concerns had not been taken seriously, I decided to dispute the expense through my bank. To my relief, my bank offered me an immediate refund, but the situation did not end there. To my surprise, Google still required more information from me, which only added to my disappointment. Overall, I was disappointed in the poor customer service provided by Google, their lack of understanding regarding my priorities, and their overall lack of urgency in resolving the issue. The response from Google was at a glacial pace, which only added to my concerns and made for a frustrating ordeal.
Google Store's Disappointing Launch and Lackluster Customer Service for the Pixel 6
As a consumer who has been eagerly anticipating the release of the Pixel 6, I was extremely disappointed by the level of unprofessionalism displayed on Google Store's website. As many of us know, the official launch date was on October 19th, yet the online store was inaccessible for a considerable amount of time during that day.
In addition to this, I have noticed that many orders have been only partially fulfilled or processed, leaving some customers in the dark about their stock and the status of their purchases. While I understand that it can be challenging to manage inventory on such a large scale, as one of the largest tech companies in the world, it is concerning that Google Store is struggling with this issue.
Moreover, Google Store decided to offer an enticing promotion with free Pixel Buds, but they announced this after the launch date. I fail to understand why this was not a part of the original promotional launch plan, which may have dissuaded loyal customers from purchasing the new Pixel 6 at full price, feeling betrayed that they could have saved a lot of money by waiting for the post-launch promotion.
It is not the first time Google Store seems to have created chaos and disappointment among consumers. Those of us who are willing to spend a considerable amount of money to purchase Google devices deserve better treatment, and it is high time for the company to learn from their past mistakes.
As if this were not enough, the order tracking system seems to be of little use, with many customers receiving inconsistent tracking information. For instance, some of us were given an estimated delivery date of November 2nd, then November 9th, and now December 1st, which is unacceptable frankly for a company like Google.
Even the store support staff seem clueless and unable to provide adequate answers to customers' queries and concerns. They merely advise us to keep an eye on our orders, which is frustrating and hardly inspiring confidence in the company. With the sophistication of modern technological advancements, it should not be so challenging to provide excellent customer service that matches Google's brand reputation.
In conclusion, it is high time for Google Store to up their customer service game and ensure that customers are given adequate information and updates about their orders. As a company that prides itself on innovation and customer satisfaction, they need to learn from their past mistakes and take significant steps to improve their current customer service standards.
Disappointing Experience with Google Store's Nest Thermostat Install Service
My experience with Google Store has been quite frustrating, to say the least. I decided to purchase 3 Nest thermostats from their online store, plus an installation service that was outsourced to a third-party company. Unfortunately, the installer assigned by Google was simply horrific. He repeatedly cancelled our appointments and, when he did show up, didn't seem to have a clue about how to correctly install the thermostats. Despite his multiple visits, none of them actually resulted in my thermostats working.
When I attempted to get a refund for the install fee, which had been charged separately for all three thermostats, I was met with an endless series of phone calls and call transfers that accomplished nothing. With each representative, I was passed from one department to another, with each one claiming that they couldn't help me and that the other team would have to take care of it. Even when I requested to speak with a manager, they promised to get back to me but never did.
After multiple months of fruitless effort, I finally gave up and had to hire someone else to install the thermostats. To make matters worse, Google had charged me hundreds of dollars for an install service that I never even received. This was, by far, the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I am deeply disappointed with the way that Google Store handled this situation and would advise anyone considering using their services to stay away.
Disappointed with Google Store's customer service and lack of cancel button - a cautionary tale
When it comes to buying tech products, most of us instinctively head straight for the Apple Store or Amazon. However, I recently found myself taking a gamble on Google's online store, store.google.com, when I decided to buy a new Pixel phone directly from them. Unfortunately, I was left feeling disappointed and frustrated with the whole experience.
After placing my order and eagerly waiting for it to arrive, I was hit with an unexpected update saying that there would be a delay with no new estimated delivery date given. Understandably, I was disappointed and decided to cancel my order. But when I looked for a cancel button, there was none to be found. I had to swallow my indignation and make a dreaded call to their customer service team.
To make matters worse, I was informed that I had missed the cancellation window and there was no way for them to cancel my order now. Eventually, I managed to escalate the issue to a supervisor, but even then, all I got was a vague promise that they would need to send messages to their supplier. Frustratingly, 24 hours later, I still hadn't received any kind of update.
On top of all this, it's worth noting that the Google Store's customer service team aren't particularly responsive or helpful. When it comes down to it, they're little more than messengers between you and their service providers. In fact, I was left with the distinct impression that there wasn't really much they could do to help me at all.
All in all, I would be very hesitant about ordering from the Google Store again in the future. Despite my love for their products, the slow and non-responsive customer service, combined with their lack of a cancel button, has left me feeling very apprehensive about making another purchase from them in the future.
Google Store's Inept Customer Service: A Frustrating Experience with the Pixel 5a Delivery Delay
My recent experience with the Google Store has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I feel compelled to share my frustration with others. As a tech enthusiast, I was excited to order the latest Pixel 5a phone from the Google Store. However, my excitement soon turned into disappointment as the delivery was delayed beyond the expected timeline.
After waiting for ten days, I decided to contact the customer service team via chat. What I experienced next was nothing short of appalling. Instead of receiving clear answers and a resolution to my problem, I found myself in a never-ending loop of platitudes and vague, meaningless replies. Whenever I asked a direct question, I was given the same scripted response - "we're looking into this" or "specialists are on it." It was as if I was speaking to a bot rather than a real person.
As a patient customer, I persisted and continued to follow up with the customer service team. But it soon became evident that I was never going to get a straight answer. I was left feeling helpless and frustrated, and ultimately, I was forced to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
In my opinion, it's unacceptable for a global tech leader like Google to have such inept customer service. I urge others to be cautious when ordering anything from their store and to expect a similar level of incompetence and disregard. I will never purchase anything from them again.
Disappointed with Google Pixel 6 Order and Customer Service Experience
When I ordered the Google Pixel 6, I was expecting an easy and efficient process. But unfortunately, that was not the case. The guaranteed delivery date before Thanksgiving did not happen, and the delivery date kept getting postponed and postponed. I decided to call the store to find out what was going on and when I could expect my phone.
I had to wait for almost an hour on the phone but was disconnected after that. I then called back and had to wait even longer before finally getting a live person. However, the first person wasn't helpful and simply followed a script. I was put on hold multiple times, and the person I spoke with didn't seem to have any answers and offered zero "customer support." It was unexpected as I expected more from a company like Google.
The wait times and lack of empathy from the customer support representatives made me feel that they were trying to wear me down and make me give up. However, their tactics backfired, and I became even more determined to find a resolution to my problem. While on hold, I found the phone for less money at Best Buy and bought it.
When I finally found someone helpful, I asked for a price match guarantee, which they declined. They refused to cancel my order, but they guaranteed that I would get the phone and case by a particular date. When the phone finally arrived, it was a week past their guaranteed delivery date, and the case arrived later.
Unfortunately, Google's return policy is more restrictive than Amazon's, so if you plan on buying something from their store, keep that in mind and take note of the deadline for returns.
Overall, I like their phones, but I am not happy with their customer service. It's frustrating that such a large and profitable company fails to provide adequate support to its customers.
Disappointed with Google Store's Lack of Transparency and Communication on Pixel 6 Order
Hello there! As someone who has been a long-time supporter of Apple, I recently made the switch to the Android ecosystem and specifically, to Google's suite of devices and services. I've been impressed by the options available and the affordability of Android devices, and have invested in several Google products like the Pixel phone and subscriptions to Google One and YouTube Music Premium.
However, my recent experience with the Google Store has left me frustrated and disappointed. I ordered a Pixel 6 on October 25th and it's now December 21st, and I have yet to receive my device. While I understand that there may be delays due to the pandemic, I've found the lack of transparency and communication from the Google Store to be particularly frustrating.
Instead of simply informing me about the back-ordered status of my device, Google's customer service agents have been giving me conflicting information about the expected delivery date. I can't help but wonder whether I'm talking to a real person or a machine. Despite my attempts to contact them via chat, phone, and email, I've been unable to get a response from the Google Store.
As someone who has invested a lot of time and money into Google's products, I expected better from them. While I don't expect them to be perfect, I do think they should be more transparent about the status of my order. I'm not angry that the device is delayed; I'm angry that Google is not being upfront with me about the delay and the reasons behind it.
Ultimately, I think Google needs to improve its customer service and its ability to accurately report on inventory and shipping times. As a loyal customer, I hope they take my feedback into account and work to improve their processes in the future.

Bitcoin miners/Fake Apps
There was a time I could trust the apps on Google Play. Much like social media Google Play has been flooded with scams, fake apps and Bitcoin mining apps that do not deliver. I have lost my money and wasted this entire year mining for Bitcoin paying for it and not only did they not pay out but most of them don't work. Or if they do the makers don't let you know before you pay for a lifetime mining that in order to transfer the Bitcoin I have to pay $600 or more. I'm a homeless veteran trying to make money. Now I'm stuck with a app that could provide me the relief I need but I can't touch it because I don't have the money. If not that then they promise to pay and give you the run around. Most of these apps are illegitimate and operate out of foreign countries robbing people blind. I am very upset over this.
.
Desired outcome: Stricter rules and better oversight regarding policy on apps created and better monitoring of fake apps. And one Bitcoin for all the money, stress, waste of time including the emotional and psychological pain it has caused.
Catch 22
I'm a samsung user but the new pixel fold caught my interest. So I made the order and used my samsung flip for trade in. Great I made the order and used their "google finance" and my total was around 1200 with trade in. Great I checked out with the finance and qualified for 1500. Perfect!... well nope. They don't give you credit for trade in until they get the trade in. My fault I'm use to samsung. So my new total is 1900. Well that's ok I'll put money towards it from my bank to get the payment down. On the phone with customer service (hahahaha service) and they could not do nothing but transfer me to the "google finance" which couldn't do nothing either. Neither one would accept more money on top. So I basically waited over a month just to find out this order will be a no go and I'll have to make a new order and now have to wait till August to get the phone. No thank you google. You're service sucks and your shipping time suck. I'll just stick to samsung.
Desired outcome: As a big brand company. DO BETTER!

Google Store Fails to Deliver - Empty Box Received with No Reimbursement or Solution in Sight
As a loyal customer of the renowned tech giant Google, I recently placed an order for a new unlocked Pixel 4a 5g from their official online store, store.google.com. However, to my utter disappointment, I received an empty box instead of the product I ordered. You can only imagine my frustration and disbelief upon opening that box.
What's more unsettling is the indifferent response I got from the Google Store when I reported the issue to them. They claimed that the fault does not lie with them, and they did nothing to remedy the situation. As if that wasn't enough, I even went as far as filing a claim with FedEx, which delivered the package, in the hope that Google Store would take some responsibility for their oversight. Again, they refused to acknowledge any such responsibility.
Not willing to give up, I went online to try and find a solution to this issue. After some research, I discovered that I was not the only victim of this kind of mishap. Many online reviews shared similar stories, leading me to believe that this wasn't just an isolated case. It seems that this issue only happens to Pixel phone customers, which makes it all the more bizarre and raises some serious questions.
It's quite astonishing and disheartening that such a reputable company like Google would blatantly ignore a problem that affects this many of its customers. Instead of trying to find a solution, it seems they're just sweeping it under the rug, pretending it never happened. This lack of concern and refusal to take responsibility only serves to tarnish their reputation and makes it much harder for customers like me to trust them in the future.
Disappointing Experience with Google Store: Delivery Issues and Lacklustre Customer Service
As a devoted customer of Google's online store, I recently purchased the new Pixel Pro 6 with much enthusiasm in the month of November. I eagerly awaited the delivery of my product, trusting that Ontrac would follow through with their delivery guarantee on 12/15. However, to my utter dismay and disappointment, the package never arrived. I contacted Ontrac regarding the lost package and after much back and forth, they finally notified Google of the misplacement.
Unfortunately, like many others who have faced similar woes with the online store, I also received lacklustre responses from Google's customer reps who seemed to be reading from scripts. It was frustrating seeing the repeated robotic response of "someone is working on it", while there was still no sign of the issue being resolved. Even after re-ordering the product, I still had to wait a considerable amount of time for it to be delivered, causing a significant inconvenience.
What was more concerning for me was that Google's refund policy was not as efficient as expected. Despite the delays in delivering my product and their lack of willingness to take ownership of the problem, Google did not issue a refund. I had to go through the hassle of disputing the charges myself, which was an unexpected burden.
Overall, the experience with Google's online store has left me disappointed and dissatisfied. It's frustrating to see a company with such a high reputation in the market failing to offer a seamless experience for consumers. While the product itself may be exceptional, I hope that Google takes action to improve their customer service and delivery processes in the future.
Disheartening Experience with Google Store: Proceed with Caution
I have to say, I had quite a disappointing ordeal with the Google Store (store.google.com). If you are looking to purchase something from them, I suggest proceeding with caution. The handling agents that I interacted with were not empowered to actually resolve my issue, which resulted in me having to explain my problem multiple times to different representatives. This repetition was quite frustrating, and after a whopping seven weeks, my order was still not resolved.
Throughout this experience, the best that the representatives could do for me was to suggest a series of actions I could take to fix the issue myself. While I did try their suggestions each time, it seemed that the root of my problem lay with them and not with me. In the end, after countless attempts at getting my problem resolved, the Google Store gave up as they could not figure it out.
Unfortunately, this means that my order is still with them, and I may never see the items that I ordered. My advice would be to steer clear of the Google Store and look for alternative retailers to purchase your products from. The experience that I had with the Google Store was truly a disheartening one, and I would hate for anyone else to go through the same. Choose wisely, and do your research before making any purchases online.
Frustrating Experience with Store.Google.com Customer Service & Tech Support
As a shopper on the hunt for good deals and reliable products, I recently made a purchase from store.google.com. Specifically, I ordered a Nest Camera weatherproof cable that, unfortunately, didn't work upon arrival. After several unfruitful attempts to troubleshoot the issue on my own, I had to turn to tech support and customer service for help.
To say the interaction between myself and the store representatives was frustrating would be an understatement. I was met with long wait times and repetitive questioning that didn't seem to take me closer towards a solution. All I really wanted was a replacement cable that would work seamlessly with my Nest Camera, but getting there was like pulling teeth.
To make matters worse, one day I received the wrong cable, and on another occasion, I was told the warranty on my original faulty cable had expired. It seemed like every time I reached out to the store's support team, there was a new hurdle to jump over, or a new excuse as to why I couldn't get what I wanted.
In the end, after voicing my complaints, the store representatives told me they didn't have the desired cable and essentially waved me off. Needless to say, it was all very discouraging.
Overall, my experience with store.google.com was less than satisfactory. The poor customer service, unhelpful support, and inability to rectify a simple issue all added up to a very bad experience. For reference, my order number was GS.[protected].
Mixed experience with Google Store: Convenient delivery but frustrating customer service
.
When it comes to the Google store, my experience has been mostly positive. The delivery process is efficient and quick, with products arriving in good condition. However, I recently faced a rather frustrating experience with a faulty product.
Upon receiving it, I realized that the item wasn't functioning correctly right out of the box. My attempts to resolve the issue have been met with a lot of difficulty and inconvenience. I've been struggling to get the problem addressed and to initiate a return for the product. To say that the process has been an absolute nightmare would be an understatement.
For almost a month now, I have been reaching out to the Google store for help with my situation. Unfortunately, progress has been slow, and the issue is still unresolved. It's remarkably frustrating because I am still yet to receive a resolution to the problem, and I also feel like I've literally been begging for assistance.
Besides this negative experience, I would advise people to avoid the Google store like covid-19. I would rather deal with covid than dealing with Google store at this point. While my recent experience was incredibly frustrating, it's important to note that it doesn't take away from all the positives that the store has offered in the past.
Overall, I would still recommend the Google store to people for their wide variety of products and convenient delivery process. However, I do suggest that users be wary of potential issues and be prepared to deal with the company's customer service department, which might not be as efficient as they would like it to be.
Unreliable Google Store Leaves Customer Disappointed and Out of Pocket
I couldn't wait to get my hands on a brand new pixel phone and some accessories, so I decided to order them from the highly acclaimed Google Store. Everything seemed perfect, until things took a turn for the worse. Unfortunately, the courier service, ON Trac, which was picked by the Google Store, lost my package before even attempting to deliver it. This was quite upsetting, as it meant that my order was going to be delayed by a significant amount of time.
However, what was even more concerning was that eight weeks after my order was placed, the Google Store had still not been able to find a solution to my problem. Even after the carrier had informed them about the lost package, they were unable to track it down or offer any assistance to rectify the situation. As a result, I was left out of pocket and without any means of receiving the products that I had ordered.
I was incredibly disappointed with the way that the situation had been handled by the Google Store, especially since there was no offer to expedite a replacement phone or even an apology for the inconvenience caused. All I was offered was complete silence, which was not an acceptable response to such a serious problem.
After this experience, I cannot even begin to imagine the potential problems that could arise with any repair or return requests. It has become clear to me that the Google Store may not be the most reliable choice for making online purchases, and I have decided that there will be no pixel phone in my future. I urge all potential buyers to consider carefully before placing any orders with this vendor, as their handling of my issue has left me feeling completely disappointed and let down.
Challenging Customer Service at the Google Store: A Review of Recent Experiences
The Google Store, an online store established by Google for the convenience of its customers, is a platform that provides an array of products and services for purchase. However, recent experiences by a customer, unfortunately, reveal a tale of dissatisfaction. Based on feedback provided, it seems that the Google Store is struggling to communicate effectively with its clients - a fundamental issue that needs attention.
The customer mentioned experiencing fraudulent activity on their credit card but had difficulty getting this resolved with the Google store. Despite providing evidence, the person reported continued demands for payment for items that neither ordered nor received. Furthermore, the customer's account was blocked for non-payment, resulting in a stressful and frustrating experience. Such a scenario paints a picture of a challenging customer service experience, one that left the customer feeling unheard.
It is unfortunate that the person had a negative experience with the customer service representatives at Google. While it is unclear if the staff exhibited incompetence or if Google does not have effective policies to ensure customer satisfaction, it is worth mentioning that such experiences could negatively impact customer loyalty and trust. It is imperative that companies prioritize customer service experiences as it often differentiates brands in highly competitive markets.
If such difficulties continue, customers might consider exploring alternative sources such as Amazon's Ring products for their home security needs. Such a decision might prove beneficial if Google does not take steps to ensure seamless communication and resolve customer issues promptly.
In conclusion, while the Google Store aims to be a source of convenience for its customers, it is evident from this review that some customers might not have had the best experience. It is essential that Google Address complaints as they arise to ensure that their customers have a seamless shopping experience.
Google Store failed to honor store credit & offer inadequate support for refund request
As an avid online shopper, I was excited to receive a store credit for Google Store (store.google.com) following a promotion. However, when it came time to use the credit to purchase more products, I encountered an issue. Despite multiple attempts, the credit simply wouldn't apply to my order.
Frustrated, I decided to reach out to Google Store's customer support team for assistance. I was pleased to receive a prompt response, but the solution offered was less than satisfactory. The representative advised me to place my order without using the credit, promising to personally assist me in processing a refund once the order was received.
Trusting in their promise, I placed my order as instructed. However, when it came time to request the promised refund, I found myself facing a painful roadblock. Despite my repeated attempts to contact Google Store's support team via phone and email for the past 9 days, I've been met with nothing but delays and excuses. They continue to insist that my refund is being "reviewed", leaving me feeling both disgusted and disappointed.
Sadly, this experience has left me with little desire to continue shopping at Google Store in the future. While I had high hopes for a positive experience with this brand, their lack of responsiveness and accountability has left me feeling undervalued as a customer.
Review of Google Store's Customer Service for Pixel 2 Pro Purchases
I recently purchased two Pixel 2 Pro 6 phones from the Google Store website, and I have to say, I am quite impressed with the phones themselves. The quality is great, and the sleek design is everything I could have hoped for in a phone. However, when it comes to the customer service department, I have to say that I am sorely disappointed.
My experience with their customer service left a lot to be desired. I was trying to trade-in an old phone for store credit, and I had a representative from the customer service department email me with some information that turned out to be completely false. It was extremely frustrating to have to chase down this person for six days before finally getting them on the phone.
Even then, it took another four days to get a supervisor involved and to finally get everything straightened out. It was an incredibly challenging process, and I even had to send a screenshot of the ridiculous email that the representative had sent me. When I checked with my bank, they had no idea what any of these people were talking about - it was a complete mess.
Overall, I have to say that I was extremely disappointed with my experience with the Google Store's customer service department. While the phones themselves were stellar, the customer service left a lot to be desired. I feel like I was left in the dark for too long, and it was incredibly frustrating trying to navigate this process. I'm definitely going to think twice before purchasing any electronics from this company in the future. That being said, I do think that Google is still excellent for web searches and maps - just maybe not for purchasing electronics.
Mixed Review: Google Store -Great Selection But Disappointing Chat Support
shopping experience at Google Store (store.google.com)
I have been shopping at Google Store for a while now and I must admit that it's a great platform for all things Google-related. They have a wide array of products ranging from smartphones, computers, smartwatches, and other tech accessories. Every time I shop at Google Store, I always find something new and exciting to add to my tech collection.
However, my recent experience with their chat support has left a sour taste in my mouth. I've always heard about how Google's customer service is top-notch, but my experience was quite the opposite. I had an issue with a failed payment, and I contacted their chat support to rectify the issue. Unfortunately, this turned out to be quite a hassle.
During the chat, the support agent kept asking me to repeat myself, despite providing the same information several times over. I also noticed that they seemed reluctant to investigate the issue deeper. Furthermore, I was unable to get any clear explanation for the recommended actions and, as a result, the suggested solution only served to exacerbate the situation.
Adding insult to injury, the support agent tried to use the timeout function to end the chat interaction, leaving me feeling frustrated and unheard. The last straw was when they informed me that a supervisor would contact me within 24 hours, only to abruptly end the chat.
Despite this unpleasant experience, I have to say that Google Store's selection and prices are hard to beat. Overall, I do enjoy shopping at Google Store and have had positive experiences in the past. I do hope that my experience with their chat support will be a one-off situation, and that they will strive to improve their customer service for the future.
