Company falsely advertised clothing origin and production site
The company claimed its clothing was locally made. I purchased two dresses for about $40 each. Upon arrival, the packaging clearly indicated a different origin. The dresses were of poor quality and did not fit. Customer service only offered a partial refund when I requested to return them. After refusing their initial offer, they proposed $32 instead. This experience felt deceptive.
Advertises that clothes are made domestically
Advertises that clothes are made domestically. The company, based overseas, took a long time to deliver clothes of unacceptable quality. I requested a refund of my $79.88 and a return address. They offered a partial refund of $12, then $20, then $30, to keep the clothes. Communication was only through email. I threatened to complain for a full refund. They provided a costly return address, advising against it due to high shipping costs and the need for tracking. I doubt I'd get a refund. It's a scam! Avoid this company. I've complained to my credit card company, uncertain of the outcome.

I purchased 2 dresses in an XL size
I purchased 2 dresses in an XL size ...one fit and one didn't. I want a refund cuz the way the dress is cut even a larger size would not work. I have asked for refund info and they won't respond.
Quality of the clothing was subpar. The return policy states to contact the customer service area for a confirmation of your return. Had to send multiple emails before a response. Once I finally got a response, they came back with a $30 compensation (I spent $97). I rejected that offer and asked for a return label. They then came back with a compensation of $64 USD. The site claims they are out of stock but clearly, they are not as the delivery service used was SF-Express which looks to be internationally based. This company needs to stop defrauding people. SHUT THEM DOWN.
I placed an order for dresses from a company, Klynu, claiming that they are located in an undisclosed location. On August 19, 2022, my Amex was charged for $298.73 for the dresses. On September 15, 2022, I received the dresses. Immediately upon opening the packages, the smell of chemicals was overwhelming and made me nauseous. The return address on the package I received is not precise according to online map services-- the details are vague and unverifiable.
On September 26, I looked at the return policy on their site and read that I was to reach out to their customer service. I sent an email requesting a refund and a Mailing Authorization form. I have attached my email. They responded by apologizing and asking if I would accept $40 in return (email attached). This continued back and forth until their most recent response, offering me $100 (email attached). I have followed their Return process protocol, and still have not been offered either the Mail authorization or my full refund.
This is my third request for a return authorization and address so that I can return my order.

I spent a certain amount on a Klynu order in September, with free shipping
I spent a certain amount on an order from Klynu in September, with free shipping. They advertise that their clothing is made abroad. There is no country of origin tag on the garments (isn't that required?) but the plastic bags say Made abroad. The items are not as described. They offered me $20. After I declined it, they responded, How about $48? and said their warehouse is overseas, so it's too costly for them to accept returns. I want my money back. Do I have any recourse?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Company advertises its location and products as being domestically based. After placing an order, you don't receive an email confirmation, and the products ship from overseas, taking several weeks to arrive. The company also promotes an easy return policy. When I requested a return authorization for items purchased, they replied that I could keep the items and they would refund me approximately 10% of what I paid, citing their inability to accept returns. It is a scam, and I am not receiving my refund.
I ordered three dresses and one sweatshirt from a certain online retailer for a total of $163.00. The site states that their company is based in a specific country, so their products are all made and shipped from there. I wanted to be sure they were made in that country. On August 22, I received an email saying the items had been shipped. By September 1, having not received them and noticing the tracking number indicated that a location in another country was awaiting the package, I emailed the company for clarification. They responded by informing me that they have two warehouses in the US, one in Elizabethport, and another in a different location. When the package finally arrived, there was writing in an Asian language on it, and the return address label indicated it was from a different country than advertised. Another label on the package listed the contents with a total value of $61.00. Upon contacting the retailer about returning the items, they offered a $28 refund and suggested I keep the items. Dissatisfied, I insisted on a full refund. Through subsequent emails, they increased their refund offers to $54, $80, and finally $90, while informing me that for a full refund, I would need to send the items to an address in yet another country.
On August 7th, I ordered several dresses in hopes of finding one or two to wear to an important weekend coming up later in the month. After a week, I had not received my order, so I called customer service and was told the order was being held up due to one item on back order. The website indicates this is a company based in the southern region, so I told them to cancel that item and mail everything else right away. I was given a credit for the item, but the order did not arrive in time for my weekend. When the package did finally show up, the shipping label did not include a southern region address. The items were extremely disappointing! The fabric felt synthetic and the fit was unflattering. I contacted customer service regarding this and indicated I would like to return all but one item for a full refund. The representative told me to keep the items and offered a $30 refund on September 8th. I replied that was not acceptable, I wanted my $220 refunded and requested a manager to contact me. I received another email shortly thereafter offering $50 with immediate credit given. I replied that this was not satisfactory, insisting on returning the items and expecting a full refund as is standard with other reputable companies for online orders. I did not receive another response even after I asked for their address to return the items. The website does not list an address and the only address I have is the return address on the package. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide to help me get my money refunded, and more importantly, to investigate this company's deceptive practices. There are many reviews that narrate similar experiences. If any additional information is needed, please reach out to me. Thank you.
Company falsely advertises local presence and easy returns
Company claims its products are locally based but ships from overseas with long delivery times. Despite advertising an easy return policy, when a return was requested, they offered a mere 10% refund instead of accepting the items back, indicating a scam without issuing a full refund.
I placed an order with company Klynu from an advertisement they had, claiming goods were made in South Carolina and offered free returns within 39 days. The order was placed on July 30, 2022. After several days without hearing from them, I sent an email to cancel my order. Two days later, I received a tracking number. The goods arrived around August 12, and I immediately sent an email expressing my dissatisfaction with the size and quality, requesting a return authorization to send the goods back. I was offered a partial refund to keep my order. After some negotiation, they agreed to a higher refund amount, stating that it was not worth the return. However, I still have the unworn garments in the original bag and wish to return them for a full refund. Please assist. Thank you.

The Klynu website claims that its clothing is produced and dispatched from an undisclosed location. My order took three weeks to arrive, and the package was sent from an unspecified address. There was no tracking information provided. Upon receipt, I found that the items did not match the website's description. The materials used were of low quality and the craftsmanship was substandard. I contacted PayPal and the company to inquire about the return process. They proposed partial refunds ranging from $75 to $135, suggesting that I keep the products. Eventually, they provided a return address (noting that their website lacks any corporate address or contact number). I sent the items back, insured, on the same day at a cost of $14. I was refunded approximately $174 for the items but not for the shipping costs. The items were not as advertised, and I am seeking reimbursement for the shipping as well. Additionally, I want to warn others that this website is fraudulent and advise against making any purchases from them.
The website claims that the dresses are made in one country, but they are actually made in another. I purchased two dresses. After reaching out to the company to inquire about a delivery date, they were unable to provide one. They sent me a tracking number that was not recognized by the postal service. Consequently, I spoke with an account specialist at my bank. She recommended that the bank reverse the payment. A week later, the two dresses arrived, but one was significantly larger than expected. I had ordered a size small, but the dress I received was at least a size large.
On the day the dresses arrived, I informed the bank that the company could be paid. The company's website also mentions free returns, but when I attempted to return the oversized dress, they initially asked for $12 to process the return. I insisted on returning the dress and asked for a return authorization. They then offered me $20 to keep the dress. I declined and reiterated that I wanted a full refund of $39.99 for the dress. They increased their offer to $25, but I persisted in requesting a return authorization and a refund of $39.99. Eventually, they instructed me to send the dress back and provide them with the tracking number, promising to issue a refund upon receipt of the returned item.
I returned the dress and provided the tracking number, but now they are refusing to refund the $39.99 due to the previous chargeback. They now have my money, the $5.20 shipping cost I paid to return the dress, and the dress itself. Is there any action I can take? Thank you for your assistance!

I purchased a dress from this company
I purchased a dress from this company. What was sent is no where near what the picture was online that I purchased. Company only wants to give me $22.00 back on a $55.00 purchase. Also. Their site stated the dress was made in South Carolina when it was actually made in China. The *** allowed by them started at $8.00 and for me to keep the dress. Then went up to $12.00 now they say the max *** of $22.00 and keep the dress. Since it will cost more to ship it back to ***. They are very difficult to deal with send items completely not what was ordered and are fraudulent on where item was made. They wont send me return information which I have asked for every day for 4 days.

I ordered from Klynu after seeing their ad, claiming SC-made goods and 39-day free returns.
I ordered from Klynu after seeing their ad, claiming SC-made goods and 39-day free returns. Order placed on 7/30/2022. After days without a response, I emailed to cancel. Later, a tracking number arrived. Received the items by 8/12, complained about poor quality, and requested a return. They offered a partial refund to keep the items. After negotiation, they agreed to a larger refund, citing return costs. I have the unworn items in the original bag and seek a full refund. Assistance needed. Thanks.
I placed an online order from a promotional ad with a company called Klynu
I placed an online order from a promotional ad with a company called Klynu. I ordered 5 women's shirts at a total cost of $168.10 on 7/20/22. (Klynu order number omitted). I never received the order. I requested the order be cancelled on 8/11/22. They did not cancel, and sent me a notice that they shipped the items on 8/15/22. (The courier has not received the package as of 8/17/22 per the tracking number provided by Klynu.) Klynu credited my account for $35.14 for an unavailable item. I am disputing the remaining charge of $132.96 with my bank. This company advertised clothing made locally. The problem is, I think they are from overseas, and are misrepresenting themselves online. It would never take so long to get an order domestically. Buyers need to be wary of this company.

The Klynu website claims its clothing originates and dispatches from an undisclosed location. My order took 3 weeks to arrive without tracking information. The items differed from the website's description, with cheap materials and poor craftsmanship. I contacted PayPal and the company for return instructions. They proposed partial refunds between $75 to $135 to keep the items. Upon finally receiving a return address (absent on their site), I sent the items back at my expense ($14). I was refunded $174 for the items but not for shipping. The products were misrepresented, and I seek a shipping refund. I also want to warn others of this fraudulent site.
I ordered two dresses from a heavily advertised company in July 2022, with positive reviews.
I ordered two dresses from a heavily advertised company in July 2022, finding reviews that suggested it was average to deal with. One dress didn't fit, and despite promises of easy returns, the package lacked paperwork and a clear return address, only showing foreign writing and signs of international transit. The company, operating under multiple names, offered me a minimal refund, and I learned many others were similarly dismissed. Their widespread social media presence suggests they'll persist with these unethical practices.

I ordered two dresses from a company claiming to be overseas
I ordered two dresses from a company claiming to be overseas. They charged my account on 8/3/22 for $79.78. I was skeptical about their actual location due to odd phrasing. Post-order, I found identical dresses under different brands! The dresses arrived on 8/22/22 but didn't fit well. No larger sizes or return instructions were provided. I emailed them and was offered a $12 credit to keep the dresses. I declined and requested return instructions again. They then offered a $24 refund, and later a final offer of $40, citing an overseas return address. My order number was omitted in their correspondence.

I bought 3 dresses and a sweatshirt from an online store for $163.00. The site claimed their products were locally made and shipped. I received a shipping confirmation email on August 22. By September 1, with no delivery and tracking showing the package still pending, I inquired and was told about their two US warehouses. The package, when it arrived, had Asian writing and a return address from Asia. It also declared the contents' value at $61.00. Seeking a return, the store offered partial refunds of increasing amounts, but I insisted on a full refund, which they said would require shipping items to an Asian address.

Company advertised on a popular social media platform that their clothing was made in a reputed country known for quality manufacturing. I purchased two dresses, each priced at approximately $40. Upon their arrival, it was evident from the packaging that they did not originate from the claimed country. The quality was subpar and the fit was unsatisfactory. In my communication with customer service requesting a return address, they proposed a compensation of $12 to retain the dresses. I declined, insisting on a complete refund, to which they countered with an offer of $32. This experience has the hallmarks of a scam. In hindsight, I recognize that I should have exercised better judgment.
Advertises that clothes are made in a specific country. And the company is based out of an undisclosed location. The products took a long time to arrive and were of unacceptable quality, shipped and made directly from an unspecified region. I requested a refund of my $79.88 and an address to return the items. I received an offer of getting $12 back and to keep the clothes. I told them that was not acceptable. Then they offered $20, then $30. The only way to communicate was via an email back and forth. I told them that I would put in a complaint if not receiving a full refund. Next, they tell me I can send my items to an address in an unspecified location. But they advise against it since it is very expensive, and you have to pay for that and get a tracking number, and then supposedly they will refund the amount. I don't trust that to happen. So, total SCAM! Do not do business with this company. It should be removed from the marketplace! I put in a complaint with my credit card company. Not sure what that will accomplish.
