I purchased a pick black and rust male doberman for $2000.00 not including shipping or ears and his AKC papers were supposed to be with him when I pick him up from the airport. I can not get a return phone call or email from the breeder Laura Bristle I know this was a litter of 8. I am looking for the owners of the other 7 puppies! Feel free to call of email me. Just an update... Still no word from Laura Bristle. I have filed a complaint with AKC and sent them more information by mail today... What a horrible experiance this has been.
Another update... 05/02/2011... Still no AKC papers. Laura is the worst business woman I have ever ran across. She is a thief! She is rude! and she will blame you for all of her mistakes. She has sold sick and injured puppies and will not honor her 2 year health guarantee. The puppy I bought from her for $2000.00 was not sick but is now over a year old and I still do not have AKC papers. I have lost out of 3 breedings because of this. If you are thinking about buying a puppy from her. Please do your research. Check her score of the BBB! Check the Doberman chat sites. I wish I would have done that before I purchased my dog...

Did you go to her property? She has a red female there, that she took and never paid for. Her name is/was Twitter. I know the lady who holds papers on her.

Ladas Doberman Breeder is a fraud. I bought a male dobe pup in Sept. 2016 and still have not received the AKC papers. She tells me they are giving her a hard time. It has been a year now and still no papers. Do not buy a dobe from her expecting AKC papers. I now have to take her to court.
Who are the supposed parents of your pup?
Secret is the mom and sure I is the dad. Did you get your papers?

I did eventually get my papers from AKC, it took ALOT of time and letters and documentation. She has never turned in DNA on her stud and I think it is because she doesn't know who the father is to the litters.
Did Laura Bristle file the litter with and or how were you able to get your papers
She registered the litter but wouldn't send in the DNA of the sire. So AKC didn't want to register the litter but they did register my pup. I think they got tired of me calling everyday.
Can you please help me to better understand the process to get paperwork? i also have a Doberman from Shrek and Secret that I Purchased in 2016 and have never received paper work. though i woudl very much like to have the paperwork
