Parking fee
To Whom it May Concern,
On Sunday May 2nd, 2021 we entered the El Centro parking structure located on 6200 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90028 at 5:52pm PST.
A ticket was taken from one of your machines, and validated at Amoeba Music store (located at the same address as above).
We were not provided with a "FOLLOW UP TICKET".
When we exited your parking structure on Sunday, May 2nd, 2021 at 7:22pm PST (ONE HOUR AND 30 MINUTES LATER) we were erroneously charged a fee of $15.00.
This is incorrect.
Amoeba Music Store Validates their patrons for the first one hour and 15 minutes.
Each 20 minutes afterwards is $3.00.
Since we were parked for ONE HOUR AND 30 MINUTES and were validated for ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES, we are only responsible for the remaining 15 minutes, totalling a $3.00 charge.
I request that you refund me a total of $12.00 as soon as possible.
The receipt and validation for this incident is attached for your review.
I will be following up with the Senior Manager of Operations Denis Gorbonosov at [protected] as well as your local and corporate office.
If this is not resolved in a timely manner a complaint will be filed with the Better Business Bureau and the Department of Consumer Affairs of California.
Desired outcome: Refund $12.00
erroneous parking meters / unethical behavior

On April 13, 2019 at 1:30 pm, I paid by credit card for 2 hours of parking for a total of $6:00 at space number 58. I know this time because we were late for reservations at a local venue in Atlantic Station. My parking time should not have expired until 3:30 pm. Attached is a picture of the time we returned to our vehicle and observed the citation. I know for a absolute fact that I was not at this parking meter prior to 1:30 pm, because we were stopped in I-75 traffic at 1:18 pm and did not get to the specified location until 1:30 pm or minutes thereafter. When I returned to my vehicle, I had a citation time stamped for 04/23/2019 @ 15:18 (3:18 pm) issued by 005 for expired meter. the issuance of the citation was within the time frame that I paid for. The issue is not the the parking fees itself, but the use of malfunctioning devices or the unethical behavior of an agent of Lanier Parking Solutions. I waited for a short period for someone to return, but to no one returned. I am in the process of having my card company research the exact time of my swiped transaction, as well as disputing my transactions via the online process.
erroneous parking tickets

I paid by credit card for 2 hours of parking at space number 48. The swipe occurred at 12:40 pm (verified by American Express) which should have carried me through to 2:40 pm. When I returned to my vehicle, I had two (2) citations on the car. One was time stamped 1:16 pm and the other 2:36 pm...both of which were within the time frame that I paid for. When I called the company to complain, they instructed me to dispute the issue "on-line" and that it might take 24 hours to post before they show up. I will follow up to let you know what happened. The annoying thing is I paid for the two hours and yet Lanier Parking Solutions decided to write not 1 ticket, but 2...It makes you wonder just how many tickets the car would have racked up in just a short two hour timeframe...I waited around to discuss this with the meter man but ran out of time.

lanier parking / rip-off
Dear Sir or Madam,
On 12/26/2017, I attended a business meeting at the Colonnade Hotel in Coral Gables, FL and parked for a approx. 2 hours at an advertised rate of $4/hour. However, I was charged for 3 hours at a rate of $8 for a total of $24 after receiving inaccurate parking rate information.
At this time, I am in the process of escalating this claim and dispute the charge with the credit card company and will never use a Lanier parking again, will not recommend this company and will place a negative review online.
Lastly, I would like to request a refund for improper charge. Thank you.
I'd be interested if you can successfully dispute a charge such as this. Please let us know if you are successful.

I parked in front of the Yard House Restaurant & after about 45 mins I came out & saw the ticket. I did not see the parking meters. I thought I was in a two hour parking space. This was my error. Would you please adjust this fine for the time I was parked. This was my first time in Atlantic Station & just did not see the meters.
Thank You,
Craig Ledford

Unethical behaviour
I have a monthly parking account in one of their parking spots, Peachtree Center Garage, 161 Peachtree Center Ave, Atlanta downtown.
When I signed up for monthly parking in March 2016, they said it is 85$ per month. And for April 2016, I was charged 115$.
They didn't even bother to inform me, I just happened to find out from my credit card bill.
When I called them, all they said was 'I apologize for that'.
From 85$ to 115$, and they did not send me any kind of notice. To me this is just so ridiculous and disgusting behavior from a parking company like Lanier.
Parking Fines
Received a parking violation at Atlantic Station at 7pm on a Saturday night. Cannot believe Atlantic Station has hired a 3rd party to ensure meters are being fed 24/7. What a ripoff!
With all the upscale shopping venues in Atlanta - and great dining venues - why would anyone support Atlantic Station - just because they play music outdoors while you shop?
Doesn't parking meters enforce typical 8-5 Mon-Fri business environments? And you want me to shop here? Go straight to hell!
Get this, I went to pay the fine online - $25 - and they wanted to charge me an additional $3 convenience fee!
Are these people lunatics? Or are we stupid to shop or dine there?

On Thursday July 25, 2019 at 1509 hours (3:09pm) I arrived at Atlantic station to meet my wife at her dermatologist appointment located at 232 19th st NW #7230
Atlanta, GA 30363. Upon arrival, I parked in space 80 after a Black Escalade had moved out of Parking space 80 into front of the address provided.
I swiped my card at 1516 hours (3:16pm) and paid $4 for 1 hour and 20 minutes. However, I went upstairs to the above address to help my wife with the kids and to fill some paperwork out before they took her to the back. After completion, they took her back at 1545 hours (3:45pm). I left to go outside to get some food with the kids, and as soon as I get downstairs, I observed a ticket stuffed in my car door jam.
The citation states it was issued at 1540 hours (3:40pm) by unit 002 for an expired meter. Citation number [protected].
I placed an appeal into their system, so I am currently waiting on a response. I'm super pissed about this and want this company removed from Atlantic station and I am currently looking for the jerk who is conspiring to steal from legit paying customers.
There are too many complaints about the same crap and it seems that nothing is being done about this.
We need to come together and petition these thieves to have them removed, if not they will continue to steal from people who are not paying attention, thinking they received a ticket for being 1 or 2 minutes late but in reality, like my case get a ticket we'll under the time they paid for the citation.

I did not know why so many of my friends hate Atlantic Station and refuse to shop or eat there. I do now and I have joined them. I did not expect that "front row" written on a parking spot meant a $6 fee. I shopped less than two hours. Where I pulled the ticket it said the first two hours were free. Period. I will appeal the ticket but either way they can ----k it. SAY NO TO ATLANTIC STATION. If that is note enough I can return the $145 dress I bought at Dillard's.
I hope everyone realizes that you do not have to pay these citations. These are not enforceable from a legal nature as this is private property. Also, they cannot put an immobilization device on your car, nor tow it, due to outstanding tickets. This is private property and they have no way of knowing who the registered owner is as they cannot access that information from the various state DMVs. They also have no right to ask the driver for ANY identification.
I hope you all realize that you do not have to pay any citation on private property such as Atlantic Station. They can't boot or tow your car for lack of payment. I would be willing to bet that they have no database that they use to track their tickets they issue. I have several tickets and have paid none of them. I park there regularly and nothing has happened to my vehicle.
Will add my Lanier Parking ripoff story. I parked there on 9/20/14 and pay $4.50 by debit card. I see 1:45 on meter window. I come back at 7:05 and find a ticket on my rental car. The ticket was written at 6:26pm. In the process of appealing. And I thought NYC had the market cornered on deceptive practices. Thanks Lanier, appreciate the memory!
Who ever heard of 24/7 parking fees? I got a ticket 1 minute after the time on my receipt from DSW where my car was parked exactly in front. What are the merchants thinking? I will never go near the place again. I lived in Atlanta 30 years without it and will just continue my old patterns.
To hell with going to Atlantic Station. I'm not interested in paying a meter and getting a $25 ticket when I can park all over town for free. Not worth the congestion and hassle.
I received a parking violation at Atlantic Station on 12-9-12 at 16:24:01 (4:24PM). I paid $6.00 for two hours of parking using my bank card at 15:28:51 (3:28PM). I went to Suntrust Bank and they were kind enough to provide me with an "ATM activity list" which proves when I paid the $6.00 at 3:28PM. I came back to my car way before the 2 hours were up and the meter displayed "expired" and I had a citation on my car. The meter is obviously defective. I just went on-line and appealed the citation and am waiting to hear back from them. I probably will not go to Atlantic Station again to shop if I have to work about defective meters and then spend the time to appeal citations. If Lanier Parking is reading this, my citation is 1205482.
I visited Atlantic Station 7/5/13 stayed for 4 hours, parked in the underground lot, had to pay $8.00, then had a ticket (called an INVOICE) on my car for $25.00. I had parked in a space called" front row parking", never heard of it. I needed to pay $5.00 in advance to park in this space, I didn't see the sign since I pulled in from the opposite side. I spoke to the Manager David Winiaczyk. He wasn"t friendly and refused to void the ticket. Today I went online to appeal the ticket and it's not there. They charge $2 to payon internet plus $25, it doesn't gave a nother payment method. Right it's a scam.I am going to return everything I purchased at H&M and Dillards today and never go to Atlantic Station again.
Windows Busted Out
My boyfriend and I attended Six Flags over Georgia on Saturday, August 29, 2009 as well. We drove for 5 hours to come and have what we thought would have been a Fun Day, we were wrong. We were waved into a parking lot (Lanier) on Six Flags Blvd. and we had to pay twenty dollars. We thought this was a six flags parking lot because the "parking attendants" waved you in and you couldnt drive to the real Six Flags Parking lot. This was around 11:00 a.m. We walked back to the truck about four hours later to find that the passenger side window of our truck had been knocked out. Shocked to still find that our gps, my purse and cell phone were still there. Luckly my purse and phone were hidden. The parking attendant walked up behind us and said "oh we saw some people over here and we saw your gps and scared them away." Um. . . ok so you didnt do anything about it? He was real pushy and ugly to us and the police officer. I looked around and I noticed the car beside of us had theirs busted out too and the girls purse was stolen. Another couple told us their windows were knocked out and their belongings were stolen too. How can it be that there were more than 10 parking attendants on both entrances and they didnt hear 9 windows being busted out? I also believe that the parking attendants had something to do with it. We made a police report, but LANIER says theyre not responsible and we're all S.O.L. And on top of that driving home 5 hours in the rain because some idiot with nothing better to do did something stupid, and not to mention the time and money the 9 people had to pay out of pocket to fix OUR property! So to everyone traveling to Six Flags over Georgia, DONT PARK IN LANIER PARKING LOT UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR VEHICLES VANDALIZED AND YOUR THINGS STOLEN! I HOPE NO ONE PARKS IN THEIR LOTS EVER! Our idea of family fun is not having our things damaged and stolen and not having anything done about it.
