Leavens Volkswagen review: Overall service

It has now been 2 years since I stopped taking my vehicles here and boy am I ever glad, because the horror stories never stop! So I thought that I would take the time to share every single bad experience I've had with this dealership into one review.

1. Back when I had my 2012 Beetle Turbo, at only 50,000km, it developed a misfire, so they decided to replace all 4 spark plugs and ignition coils. I tried to get this covered under warranty since this seemed really early for this to happen but they refused.

2. Now with my 2018 Beetle, I've been having little issues since day 1 that they half [censored] fixed or didn't even fix at all. Starting with my driver side door that has been rattling since the day I got it, brought many times to be fixed but to no avail. Not to mention my PCV valve and EVAP purge valve failing prematurely under warranty, which they again refused to replace because it "wasn't showing up on our scan tools" despite having proof from 2 shops and 2 seperate diagnostics stating the issue was present. In the end, I had to pay out of pocket to have this issue fixed, but I had that done elsewhere.

3. Replacing wiper blades is very easy, so I did that on my 2018 Beetle with blades from Amazon. A month later, I went for my oil change, and they decided to take those wipers, throw them out and charge me $80 for new ones, I was appaled. I even asked them to get my old ones out of the garbage that were perfectly fine and give me my money back, they refused.

4. Now onto their tire storage system. Before I had my summer tires stored, I had scrubbed the rims and they went away sparkling, they came out of VW's tire storage looking like someone had took them offroading! This really upset me.

5. Finally, the time when I booked a tire changeover 2 weeks in advance and they forgot to get out tires out of storage. We were sitting there waiting for nearly 2 hours when finally the service advisor told us that they had never taken our tires out of storage.
