Terrible and very disappointing service
I have had the WORST experience EVER... And as a first time online buyer from legit... it will NEVER happen again...
My order was delivered yesterday and as soon as I realized that the items I bought were not looking as good as they did on the pictures... I. was disappointed... Then the first thing I did was to call [protected] and it was 08:08am... I spoke to one of your consultants asking advice on returns... which she had advised that... I can take back the items I. bought to. any. legit shop for. a full refund or. exchange a d what she will do.. she will. send me a receipts in the next 5 minutes... I. waiting and waited and waited without ANY luck...
I then took a chance and printed out the online receipt I received for the items I bought... I went to a legit store at westgate mall... They seem to not know what to. do with the the who payjustnow situation... BUT managed to assist and they told me that I will receive the refund from. payjustnow in 7days as they had asked or requested my ATM card to get my card details...
When I got home... I decided to c9ntact pay just now on live chat speaking to Esihle... explaining the situation... To my SHOCK and SURPRISE... she told me that she can not process the refund without getting the instruction from the. merchant which is Legit...
I then called legit to tell them. what payjustnow told me... But they were TOO BUSY to even give me a listening ear... once when I called they said they will call back... I. asked them HOW.. they said they have my number... Time passed and then I decided to. call them the second time... They asked me what I want or need to be done... LIKE WHAT THE HECK.. From the onset... when I got to the shop... I asked thrn how they will be refunding my money... They then took my card (bank card) to get my details as they said the refund with take 5 days...
And whilst I was still holding on the line as I was just out on hold without ANY warning... then they hung up the call...
The service is so PATHETIC and I regret EVER doing business with Legit...
Imagine getting home after being told that the transation is done and now what I need to do is tonwait for a refund and then payjustnow tells me that I should go back with the receipt they had given me so they would give instructions of a refund? HOW STUPID is that... HOW CRAZY is that...
I want something some ASAP... I know a receipt can be traced of not they I will send it to whoever will be asking for it...
Your service SUCKS I must say... it's SO pathetic... And I'm VERY disappointed
Recommendation: If you are willing to put up a FIGHT to get great customer service from legit.THEN prepare to put up a FIGHT..just to get a great customer service...IT REALLY IS A.DISAPPOIMTING experience...IT IS TERRIBLE...

I want to launch a complaint as I was denied cancellation of my lay-by, by legit (mankweng) turfloop. Their reason being my slip is faded on the items section, though all other information like my names, id number and cellphone number are visible, the amount paid and the due installments and the barcode are visible. I had asked them to verify on the system by using my id, but they said they cannot. I do not want to take legal actions yet. I did not want to go the legal route for such a small incident, but I am being cornered to. Is this how legit scam people money now?

I bought shoes via lay-bye at one of your retail store in Pinecrest ,Prior to that i have bought other shoes via lay-bye similar design but different color to the ones that I purchased in December 2023 . I am very happy with those but the black shoes I bought I am very much disappointed with the quality of the shoes. This shoes only been worn 4 times. Poor quality of product
Yesterday 22/01/2024 I took out my lay that I did Dec and I even fitted them again after paying to be sure of the size which was perfect size not too tight and I worn it today for my presentation at work. Hi. I bought the shoes at Legit in Rosebank mall branch. I wore the shoes same day, but I did not even last an hour with shoes, had to walk barefoot. The shoes were very uncomfortable, pinching my toes and the belts rubbing on my heels, I could swear I was going to develop blisters.
I returned the shoes to westgate branch on the 4th December and I was told that their policy doesn't allow them to refund me because the shoe has no tag and I wore it. They ust take the shoe back and sell it, so since I say I wore it they can't take it back. That makes no sense at all. The uncomfortable shoe, you want to take it back and sell it to someone else?
I do not understand how was I suppose to wear a shoe with a tag? Also how was I going to know that the shoe is uncomfortable if I did not wear it? I returned the shoe in good condition, it was worn for something less than an hour, and I could not walk on it because of the pain.
May I please get help on the matter asap.

I bought clothing item at legit Ficksburg and it did not fit. Upon returning it in Phuthaditjhaba legit stores and requesting a refund they said they cannot refund me because they don't have the item in their store.
They say I must exchange for something else . Unfortunately there is nothing I need except my money.
I am staying in Harrismith and there is no legit stores,I had to travel to Phuthaditjhaba to be denied my refund.

My grocery trolley was stolen at legit clothing store jubilee mall
On the 10th November 2023,my trolley was stolen at Legit.My trolley was parked inside the store where we keep them while we do shopping and legit staff didn't even bother to help me look for it. I took clothes and went to fitting room and then when I came back my trolley wasn't there and the staff said they didn't see anything,how is that even possible because the trolley was right in front of their eyes and if someone goes inside the shop empty handed and go out carrying something?it says a lot about those people this is negligence,they don't take care of their customers.To begin with why dont have security?they say the store has CCTV but they had the audacity to tell me that I should go to mall security to access the footage and when I got there I was told that they are not responsible for legit they are responsible for what's happening inside the mall not inside the stores.

Hi I bought a denim at Legit secunda mall August and ever since I've never wore the jeans high weight with 4 lines infront it was selling for R329 the first time wearing this jean was first week of October and wash the denim and immediately saw that at the back it was tearing not that I mind because it wasn't that bad on the 29October wore the denim for the second time because I was going to an event.I went to the ladies when I was pulling my jean top stitch at the back teared ohk still did mind I went the second time I got worse,got home changed to something else but still I can tell that its still gonna continue the quality use for this jean to common and that price i was gonn get good quality some where else.Bought them on the 26August

Bad service and disrespectful behavior
As I've sent the first complaint, the cashier's name is Lerato Mokoena who was very rude and disrespecting me at the till point, this occurred on Saturday just after lunch time, so we talking after 12 in the afternoon, she even told me her manager was Ntswaki, and said she is not threatened by her and I'm an idiot since I wanted to exchange what I had purchased. She said next time I shouldn't act like a fool, I have to be sure whenever I do purchases.
Desired outcome: I would glad like to be compensated and wish for the management to deal with her accordingly, cause next time I visit Alberton branch I do not wish to see her face ever again.

Bad 👎 service customer service
I had a terrible customer service experience at once of your local branches in Alberton. I was assisted by a lady who was broadly rude towards me, and even cursed me in Isizulu, her name was Lerato Mokoena, she has a bad attitude and doesn't deserve to be part of a highly competitive company like Legit. She even told me that calling a manager won't change her behavior 😒 she's very rude and has no place in your company.

On Sunday 03/09/2023 I bought two dresses that are 320 for both and 199.95 for each, however today I returned one of the two dresses as it was not the correct fit for me. When I got to Legit Mafikeng mall the cashier said since I'm returning only one dress I'll be receiving R120 instead of R160 I did not understand as to why but I ended up agreeing as I only wanted an exchange but with a different item.
I just checked my receipt and according to it I returned both dresses instead of one and bought one dress R199.95. How is that possible?

Today (31 july 2023) at around 11 I was on call with my sister on saturday she saw a set that is at the display in the legit store and because she was rushing she could not go in and check the price. I went pass the store and saw the set she was talking about and I went in to take pictures of the price tag which I will attach, that when this lady that work at legit her name is (kani) started yelling from the center of the shop that I should ask for permission. I didn't have a problem asking for permission the manner at which she appached me, made me feel like I shouldn't have entered plus they were standing in a group with others that also intimidated me. Can you please teach your staff customers service include the ones in goldfields mall.

Today 25 April 2023 I went to Legit Middelburg Mpumalanga at about 16:46 and the branch was closed, when I asked they advised that the store is closed and asked if I will buy and i said yes if the outfit fits me, then I was allowed in.
I went in and took the top and trouser I wanted and asked to fit and was advised that the shop is closed and I can not fit.
Once again I asked what time does the shop close and a lady confirmed that the shop closes at 16;45 even though by the door it says 17:00

I am Elisa Mmatladi I bought a trouser at legit wonderpark it was torn I called the store immediately after noticing they invited me to the store to exchange,It was 25 March on the the 27 I went to the store I was late to work they said I must take something else of that amount so time was not on my side they said I must come back anytime, when I do the manager who refused to give me her name she refused to give me another trouser my as I was told that style sell reject unfortunately I wasn't the first customer to complain about that trouser.Her superior refused to talk to me on the phone she said she will call me it is more than 2 weeks now I haven't heard anything from her,is this how u treat black people,I can not buy something for r150 and wear it 1 day only to find out the quality it is not good I left the trouser at the store.Can you please reply my email.[protected]
I am complaining about a section 18A Certification denied.
I am complaining about goods that have been damaged that were donated to Ladysmith Hospice. we are a NPO who helps out over 600 patients in and around Ladysmith. These items actually could not be resold due to the state they were in. I am sure it was claimed for under damages. We did not issue a Section 18A Certificate so he items were requested back. we were saddened by this and wish to state they need to go and read and understand the section 18A and what is it given for.
