Legit.co.za The unprofessional service offered

My name is Bontle I would like to inform you of the bad service I experienced at your place of business on 26/03/21 by one of the consultants her name is Nonhlanhla. I was at the store to take out a layby and had an item exchange therefore upon making payment for the layby I was informed that the speed point is faulty and instructed (not asked) to go to the ATM and withdraw the amount upon my return she was already helping another customer which caused me to wait even further after having to waste time at the ATM and there was no apology that was given she just asked for an item, I paid for the layby now I had to request for an exchange the item did not have a tag but it had the receipt and it was in good condition, she then informed that she will not be able to assist with the exchange because it will be a problem as it was the only item at the store. I decided to leave because already she had wasted my time, I had stopped going to Legit Tsakane mall where she was previously based due to her annoying rude behavior towards me and I did not want to take it personally although it has become a huge concern meaning that I will have to refrain from shopping at all the Legit stores where she gets to be placed due to this. I then got home and realized she did not take out the anti theft device on one of my items which will then cause me to drive back to the store. I am not happy at all and I hope this will be addressed with her accordingly.

Legit.co.za Damaged goods

My name is Khanyisile i bought my a bag 3 weeks back the zip is damaged.

I would like to express my disappointment and unsatisfactory level of service i have expected more from a prestigious and reputed company of your standard.Unfortunately i can't help but submit this letter of complaint hoping for a fast aduquate resolution.

On the 19/03/2021 I went to Legit Birch acres Mall with my slip hoping to get an exchange since the bag is only 2 weeks old but 3 of your workers said they can't exchange for me since i bought from Alex Pan Africa Mall because its their damage.the Manager (Evert )also confirmed it.

I find it very ridiculous because i had my slip i just wanted to exchange.the poor service i received as a customer from legit is unacceptable.

Consumer rights says: Consumers have the right to return to the supplier/service provider faulty, damaged or poor quality goods within six (6) months of the date of purchase. It is your right and your CHOICE

I hope you agree with me that this is acceptable under any circumstances, I trust that you will deal with this issue in a top urgent, Also trust that you will take the necessary precautions to prevent such incidents in the future.

Legit.co.za Denim Trouser

I was at legit pan african in alexandra so, I saw a denim trouser marked down to r229.99... Than when I was at the till the cashier told me that I must pay r250 but the red sticker is written r229 as a customer I buy what I see since they didn't remove the red stickee that means it still on sale so am not wrong... The cashier doesn't have any knowledge about customer service, I asked for them to call the manager but the manager did not come to me so each and every time when I went to this shop they always treat me bad

Good day

Receive my humble greetings as a loyal customer of legit. I bought a trouser at hazyview it was on sale. And when i got home the size was so small so i went to ilanga mall to do and exchange as it was the only one left in hazyview . When i arrived at illanga mall the were two ladies working a short one (a bit fat) and a slender one dark and tall named ncobile. So i found the trouser with the correct size and i wanted to fit but they put a lather infront of the fitting room saying theyre shot of stuff so thats why they closed the fitting room. I then bought two jeans the one's for 2 for R300. I then went to mr price luckily i got some jackets that were on sale i then requested to fit them...apparently i then fitted the jeans i found out that theyre also small .as it was getting late so i took the jeans with me as i got to Nelspruit plaza i got in to legit i greeted the girls working there i explained my problem they first laughed at me like i was a lunatic then they requested my proof of receipt i showed to them " they were like we dont do exchange or refunds on promotions and now its late we wanna go home and mind you they were addressing me in zulu meanwhile am a tsonga" please may they try and improve their customer service as it was not the first time.

Legit.co.za White body suit

I bought a white body suit at sammy mark legit in pretoria, it did not fit me, I tried to fit it and it ould not even pass my breast part as it is too small. I tried to do an exchange and they only told me them that they don't do bodysuits exchange. I left the body suits at the shop without my money or a bigger bodysuit that u wanted. The product it is still in good condition, you can see that it was never worn..

Legit.co.za No customer service, false advertising

I went to legit festival mall today. Saw sale items and I found something I liked and when I wanted to pay as it was 99.95 now at the till the cashier said its 299.95. I showed her the price that was on the tag but dhe krot aguing with me telling me that its not scrached. Im a customer, I saw what I liked and now im refused to oay the price that I saw while the cashier is yelling at me showing me that markdown prices should be scratched underneath the red tag. I told her that there were other identical iterms on the sakd rack but she continued aguing saying uts not scratched. The cashier doesnt have any knowledge about customer service, who agues with the customer, worst part is while she is aguing she was busy trying to remove the sale price that was on top of the original price. I couldnt wait to leave as the service was bad. She finished helping me and not even bothering to apologise for their false advertising. When I got home I unpacked the clothes I bought only to realise the same rude cashier didnt remove the alarm tag on one of the iterms I bought, so I need to make time to go to legit festival mall to remove the alarn thing thats more time wasted n money going back. So its the rude cashier, false advertising I dealt with so now I have to go back for more as I have an alarm tag on the top as if im s thief. All she cared sbout was aguing with me making sure I dont pay the markdown price while ignoring a lot of things. So disapointed to experience such service that shop

Legit.co.za Lay-buy cancellation

Dear Sir/Madam

I recently visited your Cape Gate Branch to cancel a Lay-Buy which only expire end of June and was told by the manager that they only cancel the Lay-Buy on the date it expires, that to me didn't make sense at all, I mean not even covid-19 was used as an excuse but was bluntly told that I cannot cancel my Lay-Buy however the lady wasnt rude but quite addement that shes not gonna cancel my lay-buy and refund me my deposit back. My reason for cancellation is Ive seen a similar wear for a much more affordable price at another retailer and want to rather do a Lay-Buy there but I am totally confuse please advise if this is a new term because I did not read it in the terms and conditions when ive made the Lay-Buy.
I would appreciate your feedback.

Legit.co.za Exchange on layby items

I have recently purchased items on laybye but after paying it off, there were few items I needed to exchange... now the dispute is over a R40 difference from original slip that LEGIT 'would' have to refund but because of the policy on laybye I cannot be refunded. I asked the cashier the same question I need to ask now, what happens if there is nothing else I can take why am I forced to buy things I don't need to maximize for you, worse relatively your prices range from R100 up and anything for R40 are all small stuff I don't NEED. That is when cashier felt I must be illiterate and told the supposedly manager to come and explain to me in a language that I can understand as she tried explaining in Zulu, sotho and English but I am just dum i suppose and he then replied that he will try to explain in afrikaans rather.

Maybe that was a joke for them but i am still frustrated over that, I now have clothes that I don't need and feel like i wasted money when I thought I was dealing with a reputable company, worse on your website the redund policy says nothing about laybye - maybe this is a RIP off and I am certainly not going to be good reference for you guys! I have suggested everything to the 'manager' to rather fortieth the money as I need the exchange much more that stupid R40 but I was chased out and told to go to Mayfield were I made the laybye as if there would be help there! Between the silly policies and the incompetence of you staff I really don't know who is worse but diffinately I will not be coming back.

I still have an exchange to be done and can someone call with a remedy even if i have to forfeit my money because that is what you will be doing anyway... or must I rest my case for just wasting money on you, I really regret that laybye

Legit.co.za Customer service

Legit Rosebank sales ladies were absolutely rude and did not care about assisting me, I went to shop for my items at another store. I arrived asking for assistance with regards to returning an item and they were focused on fixing lipsticks instead of assisting me, i then left and went to look for the same item somewhere else, I would have rather spend more for the same thing than deal with terrible customer service.

On the 29the september, I went to pay off my edgars account at legit stores. I paid the full balance of r3100.00 as requested on the system, in cash. Only to continue getting fone calls from the edgars after a month saying I did'nt pay my account. I went back to the same legit store early in november and was told they cannot see my payment on the system...
