I ordered 2 catalogs, but I never got 'em. Nobody calls or emails me back to fix it. Finally, I reach someone and they straight up won't give me my $6.39 back for not getting the stuff. They think it'll come even though it's been a whole month! What kinda business is this? I'm done with this place!

I don't know what's happening with Lehman's. I've called them three times in the past week and haven't been able to speak with a live person. I left my number for them to call me back, but they never did. Today, I called again and pressed the #1 button for new orders, hoping someone would answer. But still, no one to talk to. For the past three months, I've been getting charged every month for that item, but then the charge gets taken back and I never receive the item. I contacted customer service, and they keep saying that the charge will go through when the item is ready to ship. But then something happens, and the item doesn't get shipped, and the charge gets reversed. This has been happening for three months now, and every month, customer service tells me that the item is being processed for shipping. It seems like there's a problem with their billing and shipping processes because there are lots of negative reviews on this site about these issues, and no one in the company seems to be doing anything about it. I wouldn't recommend ordering anything by mail until they fix the process.

When I called and talked to *** at customer service, she told me that *** often hands off their packages to *** and it can take longer. She said to let them know if it doesn't come in a week. The post office is slow. She was nice and when I said I wanted to complain, she just said okay. Well, I got the fly swatter and the handle bends when you try to swat a fly. I ordered from Lehman's 'cause I didn't want plastic and heard good things about their stuff. The swatting part is leather and sturdy, but the metal handle is weak. I'm not happy with the service or the product, and now if I want a refund, I gotta pay for shipping to send it back. I won't order from them again.

I would give this business 0 stars if I could. I ordered stuff from them on April 2nd. The wide egg noodles I ordered were back ordered, and I knew I might have to wait. I waited until mid May and called them about the order, but got no solution. I sent them lots of emails to cancel my order and get my $34.00 plus tax back. They never replied to my emails. When I called their customer service number, they said they couldn't cancel my order or refund my money, and I had to call their billing department. When I called their billing number, it sent me back to the same person I was talking to in customer service. They shouldn't call it customer service. I finally complained to PayPal, who asked them to resolve the issue. Well, I got the noodles I didn't want anymore today, June 8th. I will never do business with Lehman's again, and I'll tell everyone I meet not to order from them. They're NOT HONEST.

They hardly communicated with me during that time, and when I contacted customer service, they said they only sent one email, which I might have missed. They never told me that the item was out of stock or backordered until I called them twice. Even then, they couldn't give me a clear answer on when it would be shipped - would it take days, weeks, or months? Who knows?! On their website, they claim that returning items is not a problem. I carefully read their return policy before making my purchase, and I was worried about spending over $400 on kerosene lamps. However, nowhere in the return policy does it mention that I have to pay for return shipping. Honest merchants always disclose this on their websites, especially for a business that values personal connections, integrity, and tradition. I'm really disappointed, and it's hard to believe that they have been in business for four generations with this kind of service. I understand that they were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, just like everyone else, but it's important for them to maintain their reputation for good customer service. They need to be transparent and make things right when they fall short. Instead of offering generic apologies, they should focus on fixing the problem.

My car had to be towed to the dealer (Lehman's) because it failed on the road. The technician tested and finally stated it needed a new battery. A new battery was installed and I drove off with my vehicle. Not long after the problem reappeared. It concerned the battery charging system. I called the consultant immediately and was told to return the vehicle. It was returned the next morning because the consultant said it was too late to return it the same day. I got a text from the consultant stating that by car needs a hybrid battery control module, which cost over $2,000. What is the policy when a technician misdiagnose a problem with a vehicle. This could have been very dangerous for me because I was planning to travel about 2 hours away by the car.
Desired outcome: I feel I should not have to pay the whole $2,000 for someone's error.

They don't have enough stuff in stock to send me what I paid for on 4/2. Finally, on [protected], they said I could cancel the order for the stuff I didn't get. They sent me a check on 6/9 for the cost of the items, but they didn't include the shipping cost that I already paid. I called Lehman's a few times and even asked to talk to someone in the billing office. They said they don't have enough people workin' there and they ain't takin' calls in the billing office, but they said they'd pass on my request. It's 7/7 now and I still ain't heard back about my $36.63 for the shipping or gotten a refund.

My order is being partially shipped. First box, the packing slip said 3 were shipped but only two were received. Several times after this shipment, my credit card has been charged different amounts and then the charges were withdrawn. Normally, I would settle matters like this directly with the merchant, but their customer service is not available. First phone call was routed to someone who could only take information and promised that someone would call. No call! Second call, I was referred back to the store where someone would help me. Customer service at the store took a message, but 48 hours later, no call. I called the store again and this time, I got a real person on the phone, Beth. Beth said she couldn't help me resolve issues with an order placed online. So Beth transferred me to Julie, but first, she gave me her direct extension. The transfer resulted in a busy signal and then the call got dropped. So, I called Julie's number two more times, but it rang once or twice and then the call got dropped.

On 10/01 I placed an order. My credit card company told me I got billed twice. I called Lehmans to fix it and they did. 2 out of 3 things I ordered were in stock. 3 weeks later, no news. Website says 10-14 day delay but I paid for 5-10 business day shipping and 2 things were in stock when I ordered. By week 3, I emailed and they said another thing was on backorder. No notification for me. Now I gotta wait another 10-14 days. You're not 10 days late, you're 5 weeks late. Now I wanna cancel my stuff. 5 weeks ain't what it said. Couldn't cancel cause it was too far in the shipping process. The thing that was in stock since I ordered. It came 41 days later without my backorder thing. I called and talked to Heather who was unprofessional. I asked for her boss Sue who talked down to me and was unprofessional too. I explained my 6 week wait and asked for a refund, canceled my backorder thing, and they said I'd get a partial refund for the shipping of the thing I got. That thing should've been shipped in the 10-14 day time they said. Sue handled it so bad I said I'd return the thing. Lehman's didn't earn my business as a first time customer. She didn't care about keeping customers. 10-14 days ain't 41 days. Lehman's, you lost my business. I see other complaints with the same problems; double billing, backorders, big delays in shipping. It ain't just cause of Covid, it's bad business and bad customer service.

I orderd from Lehmans on September 19. It was $72.64 using Paypal & credit card. They sent one thing but it was broken so I sent it back. They didn't send the rest of the order. They gave me $12.71 back for the broken thing. The rest of the order is on backorder. They don't know when it will be available. But they still charged me for the backordered stuff + shipping when I ordered. They said it's Paypal's rule to charge when you order. But that's not what Paypal usually does. They usually charge when they ship. So it's Lehmans' rule, not Paypal's, and it's not right to charge for stuff they didn't send (plus SHIPPING for stuff they didn't ship!) Lehmans also makes you wait 30 days before you can ask for a refund for backordered stuff, even though you already paid for it. After 30 days, I asked for a refund for the stuff they didn't send. They said they would ask their *** which is crazy. They should have given me a full refund right away. I waited another day but they didn't respond and they didn't give me a refund. I want Lehmans to give me my money back that they took over a month ago when they knew the stuff was backordered (and it's still backordered) and I want a FULL REFUND, INCLUDING SHIPPING FOR STUFF THEY DIDN'T SEND! Give me back $59.63 NOW!
