I am extremely impressed by this service
I am extremely impressed by this service. I received a much more personalized and in-depth treatment plan for my UTI then I've gotten from an in-person doctor's visit. I also received a follow-up inquiry after about a week to be sure treatment was successful. I do not have health insurance at this time but remain in generally good health despite small instances like this UTI. The treatment plan I was given not only dealt with the current problem but had comprehensive advice to prevent future issues. I would recommend this service to anyone that has generally good health with a small problem here and there. Thank you for providing such a well-rounded service!
I truly can not say enough amazing things about Lemonaid
I truly can not say enough amazing things about Lemonaid. Every provider I have had the pleasure of working with have been the easiest, most non-judgemental, kind providers I have ever met. Lemonaid is everything that most Dr's offices are not, which is convenient, affordable and welcoming. No matter what my medical needs are at the time, they are there via chat and phone call at almost all times of the day. I have insurance and it is still cheaper for me to get prescriptions through Lemonaid rather than my pharmacy. I just want to say thank you for all that you have done and the impact you are making on making health care more affordable. The work that you do is simply incredible!
They really helped me out when my insurance was cancelled unexpectedly and I ran out of my medication. I can't speak highly enough about them. They were kind, patient, and above all efficient at getting me my anti-depressants. I'd absolutely recommend them to my friends and family if they ever needed it. Thank you so much Lemonaid. I'd give a 10/10 if I could
Honestly above and beyond, that is what I want to say first in case you don't make it past the first sentence. They are kind and quick to help with any issue.Their website has a surprisingly large range of options for assistance.I am happy I found them.Thank you all!
Customers are charged $95 monthly even if you do not have an appointment. Rather expensive, but not a problem in and of itself. The problem lies within their practices with how they treat prescriptions if you cancel service. I canceled my subscription and I had 2 refills left on my medication, but I could not get my prescribed medication because THEY CANCELED MY REFILLS. That should be criminal. It is *** and DANGEROUS to mess around with a persons refills especially when they are for a psychiatric drug. The prescription was written with 2 refills, but I cant use them even at another pharmacy because I cant afford to pay them nearly $100 monthly. Do yourself a favor and use a service like Sesame.
I contacted lemonaid for some mental health issues I have. I was asked *** with "severe anxieties" and moderate- severe depression. To take it to the next step I had to enter my credit card info...when I entered my card information the site stated "credit card expired"...the card info showed my card doesn't expire until 1/22...I thought they were supposed to help with my "severe anxieties" but instead created more anxieties...I'm semi-homeless and don't use any other bank account other than the one I used. I've received 2 emails from lemonaid directing me to finish my application...I started in each email of my situation and no response on the credit card issue (on their end) and feel they're in it more for the money than helping people with mental health issues.

Would give 0 stars if possible. I tried to renew my prescription literally minutes ago. Lemonaid refused to renew based on a condition that my doctor knows about; and my doctor still wrote the prescription! I preferred Lemonaid because it's easy, but "easy" doesn't matter when they arbitrarily refuse to renew your prescription . . . that is OK to renew per your doctor! I'm moving on . . . won't be using Lemonaid for anything ever again!
I have dysthymia and anxiety. I need a mild antianxiety medication and instead they suggest an SSRI with a BLACK BOX warning. People like this are exactly whats wrong with the mental health industry.
I have been amazed at the efficiency of the Lemonaid Health team working on my conditions! the speed at which they diagnose and suggest treatment is phenomenal! And their treatment has been correct and my recovery has also been quick. I highly recommend this organization for whatever may ail you!
This is not easy! You will likely talk to a woman nurse or doctor about your *** I had to talk to two women granola "doctors" in a row and in the end, they refused to treat me. They thought it was a joke that I was embarrassed about my problem. Do not bother! Get a script from your regular doctor and send it to a Canadian pharmacy.

On or about February 18, I visited their website and I gave them my information in good faith that a doctor would call me PRIOR to being sent a prescription medication. A doctor NEVER called me, instead I was charged $135.00 and sent a controlled medication. I called their phone number but they failed to return my call, and, in fact they charged me an additional $220.00 in March and sent me more of this medication. Without any consultation with a doctor and not receiving any return phone call, I must dispute the charges to my credit card and question their service. I am very reluctant to even try the medication they sent me as I question both the legality and the ethical responsibility that comes into question here.

Absolutely superb- a miracle! I have been struggling to secure health care while uninsured and in financial crisis, and running out of steroid asthma inhaler thats life threatening to abruptly stop taking, thats subsidized by the manufacturer. I kept getting traumatic abusive bigoted discrimination from providers for being LGBTQ- including LGBTQ primary care clinics! Ive had to report people to my state medical licensing board over it, and am suing, its been so dangerous. My meds almost gone, I took a chance with Lemonaid, and was instantly connected to a real MD who treated me as an equal for the first time in my life. A thorough and knowledgeable doctor that treated me like a human being, and not artificially saccharine either. He secured all my meds including the manufacturer direct subsidized one, and actually had a solid knowledge of them- just perfect. Highly recommend!
This was my 1st experience with lemonaid health. I have to say that in this day of many customer service departments being poor, *** customer support was Superb! I was having difficulty moving through the account process. It wasnt difficult. Im just a technophobe. The agent took the time to walk me through completion of my order. Thank you providing such friendly and accommodating agents!

I can't even begin to express how grateful I am to Lemonaid Health
I can't even begin to express how grateful I am to Lemonaid Health. I don't have health insurance from my job and don't have the ability to pay the expensive out of pockets cost to pay for private insurance. With Lemonaid Health you don't need to have health insurance to get amazing care. Their cost of visits and monthly medications are appropriately priced and a grate value. The people who work there are so compassionate and take as much time as you need to express how you feel or what you're dealing with and answer all the questions you have. I often asks lots of questions when I take a new medication and always feel embarrassed to ask what some people might deem as "*** question", but no questions are considered *** to the Lemonaid Health staff. Big thanks to *** & ***. I don't know where I'd be today without them and Lemonaid Health.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I had a prescription approved 5 weeks ago. Had an appointment, went through all of the appropriate steps, it was a medication I've been on for years. They said they were shipping it out, awesome. The prescription never arrives. They say it had, but send it again. A week later, nothing. Then I find another prescription has arrived. I contact customer service, they send a tracking number. It's now 5 weeks later and they've sent me YET ANOTHER shipment of my other prescription (so I have a year's worth of one medication, but I've been off of my intended medication for over a month). Mind you, I paid for the prescription / consult fee. I just followed up again and still no resolution. If you're looking for an EASY, online way to fill prescriptions, look elsewhere. These guys will just make your life hell and you will likely experience lapses in your medication, which for many of us significantly impacts our lives.

My first visit with them was great!
My first visit with them was great! I went for birth control, it was quick and easy. The prescription was for a year and all I had to do was got to the pharmacy every 3 months. My second visit with them hasn't been great. I couldn't renew my prescription because I wanted it delivered to me this time instead of going to the pharmacy, so I had to start everything new again. This resulted in me getting the same type of pill but a different brand. I could the difference between the two since day one, I've been having way more side effects and problems with these that I never had with the last ones. I've been messaging with medical professionals and keep getting the same "you shouldn't be able to tell a difference" and "it's the same pill, just a different manufacturer." They aren't working with me and keep dismissing me, it's very frustrating especially because I'm in pain and take birth control to not be in pain. I'm very disappointed with my recent interactions with them

Lemonaid Health was a lifesaver to me
Lemonaid Health was a lifesaver to me. I needed a prescription medication that helped with my depression and anxiety. They sent it to me by mail. They are a prescription service that includes an initial appointment by phone or video chat. You talk to a qualified doctor or nurse practitioner. They listen to your concerns to see if you would be a good fit for their program. They make sure that they will be able to provide you with the medication that you need before moving forward. The cost is $95 a month which includes all visits and medication. It arrives in your mailbox monthly. It couldn't be an easier way to get medications. I was blown away when I found Lemonaid Health. It seemed too good to be true that the medication was included in the cost. I even sent the doctor an email after our appointment that said "Wait, how much is my medication?" Of course, she said that it is included in the $95 monthly fee. When your insurance runs out this company is a lifesaver. I am so relieved to have found them.
absolute scam and ripoff!
absolute scam and ripoff! I signed up and got and paid for 2 months of "service" All I need were my meds that I was already prescribed when I was with Cerebral, I had to go through the whole screening process all over, which I totally understand that, that isnt my issue. My issue was the price per month to what my meds actually cost at a normal pharmacy. After 2 months (and the bottle of my meds saying 2 refills remaining I cancelled my service with them. Well when I went to the pharmacy to refill my meds (since even before I cancelled at the end of the month, I still had not received my following months meds (which was the main reason I was cancelling because I was upset, and with antidepressants, you cant/are not supposed to go days without them) well I went to the pharmacy to refill my perscription, they called Lemonaid to verify, and they cancelled my refills. I do not recommend this service to ANYONE if youre going through them for any mental health medications. They left me high and dry and in a potentially very dangerous situation.

Very convenient, especially during pandemic times when many pcp offices were closed
Very convenient, especially during pandemic times when many pcp offices were closed. As an FNP, I have to say though, it seems that some of their treatment algorithms are designed to ensure you stay with them for the longest amount of time possible without necessarily prescribing therapeutic dosings of medications. For example, I have major depressive disorder and was prescribed fluoxetine 10mg, told that this lower than therapeutic dose (for this diagnosis) was supposed to minimize side effects, which I understand. But then, after 4 weeks of this dose and requesting a higher dose, I was told that "it takes about 6-8 weeks for the full effect of this medication to take place" and their recommendation was I continue with the 10mg. I have a problem with this since 10mg is a subtherapeutic dose for my condition, and I felt that continuing to prescribe me this dosage was actually somewhat negligent given that my symptoms were not improving. 4 weeks is plenty of time to experience the s/e and adverse effects of SSRIs, and I would argue that uptodate and epocrates would take issue with their prescription algorithms. I did not appreciate being made to feel that I was ***-seeking, as if SSRIs are in the same category as *** The first NP I saw for my initial evaluation was amazing, and I wish that I could choose to see her again every time, but unfortunately that is not the case. I will be reaching out to my PCP for future prescriptions.
I was skeptical of telehealth and was considering using HelloWisp first, because I knew I could immediately get antibiotics to treat my UTI
I was skeptical of telehealth and was considering using HelloWisp first, because I knew I could immediately get antibiotics to treat my UTI. However, I saw that 1 round of antibiotics was almost 70$ and I just don't have that kind of money with how often I get UTIs. Lemonaid was absolutely the right choice, I signed up for an appointment (25$) and was seen on the same day. I waited a couple of hours for a nurse practitioner to look at my file, but it wasn't a problem because I was in the comfort of my home and could just chill in bed. Once they opened my file, the NP was completely present and responded to my questions very quickly. I even asked to change the pharmacy after they had sent the script, because the pharmacy I originally wanted was closed. They immediately called me and even helped me check for pharmacies nearby, and what time those pharmacies closed. I was talking to real people and real people were helping me. I even asked them (again, after they had already written the script to the pharmacy so all of this must have been a huge pain in the [censored] to them) if the medication they prescribed could be generic, and they said they always did, but costumers could upgrade to the original Rx if they would like. And then Lemonaid even said they found coupons for the generic on goodrx (because I stated I was concerned about price). In total, I spent 40$ for an emergency, without insurance, that could have taken me hours and hours in a waiting room and 100+$ with copays and medication (no insurance). Couldn't recommend this more. I will definitely be using them again.
Initially I was hesitant to try the services
Initially I was hesitant to try the services. I reluctantly did and had a great visit for tobacco cessation medication. All seemed well and I was quite pleased with the service. After a few months, I decided to try again to get a refill for my acid reflux medication. This second visit was so horrific I have decided to delete my Lemonaid account and never go back. Please heed my warnings so you don't have to suffer the same fate as I did. It started off requesting a visit late on a Saturday. I missed their open window and was advised to come back again during regular hours. I totally forgot they were open on Sunday until I received that fateful text message letting me know so. I wish I had ignored it, but instead, I immediately logged on and got into the video queue. After I reached #1, I found it odd that I was still in queue and waiting for 30minutes. I figured, hey, technology happens right, let me refresh and try again, knowing I would start back at the end of the queue. Ironically, this happened to me the first visit too, but I didn't realize this was their business model yet. In the queue a second time, I once again made it to #1 and was awaiting my consultation. Again, another 30minutes passed with no answer. This couldn't be me could it? Perhaps a computer or browser issue? I'm using the exact same computer and browser as I did before and verified the microphone and video settings worked as required. Despite this setback, I thought I would give it one last try, utilizing my phone and their app. I had gotten their app after the first visit. Sitting on the app, again, I was placed at the end of the queue. After waiting and getting back to #1, I again was stuck for some reason, waiting for an answer with none out there. I again waited almost 30minutes for someone to initiate tele-health services with me, only to receive a "technical error" message that kicked me out of queue back to the end. Hey, at least the app told me they were screwing me over instead of on the PC which gave no indication anything was wrong. Perhaps the services I was seeking were not able to be covered by the practitioners available? That's completely understandable, and I would've gladly come back another day, but no indication of the sorts was given. In fact, I never would've attempted to get services today had it not been for Lemonaid text messaging me they were available. The real stain on the face is that you have to pre-pay for a visit. So here I am, prepaid for a visit, unable to receive services and at least two hours of my life wasted for nothing. There exists no mechanism to cancel a visit online either, ironically since the entire premise is online services. Instead, I was forced to call in and, you guessed it, wait in queue again until I could finally reach a representative to cancel and receive a refund for my visit that was never completed in the first place. I decided during that telephone conversation that Lemonaid Health is not a company I ever wish to do business with, and requested deletion of my account. I do hope that request is faithfully executed and all HIPAA regulations are adhered to. To summarize, please don't choose Lemonaid Health for your health services. I made that mistake and realized they are just like any other doctor's office where you time is not valued, but your money will be taken.
Frankly, I'm astonished to a review rating this high
Frankly, I'm astonished to a review rating this high. But I assume that ratings don't account for the severity of issues. This is the very first time I've actually had to resort to a ComplaintsBoard.com grievance/review. To be fair, my initial interaction with Lemonaid was rather promising. My urologist relocated and I was searching for a new one before COVID restrictions brought medical care to standstill. Not being able to find a doctor who was taking new patient appointments, I reluctantly turned to tele-health and researched the major operators. After deciding on Lemonaid, I scheduled a "visit" and the practitioner was patient, empathic, knowledgable and informative. If I stopped there, they would've deserved a 5-star rating, but what happened after that has been an ongoing circus of failures. First, I didn't, and still don't, understand the pricing differential based on dosage. There was an advertised promotional price of $30 for a 30-day daily prescription. But since I had travel pending, a higher, as needed dosage made more sense initially. So double the dosage, double the price, right? Well, that initial prescription actually cost more three times the price ($110). However, it's actually even more deceptive in that the higher dosage is only ten pills. That is not a typo. The price increases more than thrice, and the pill count decreases thrice ($11 vs. $1 per pill). Lesson learned. Always get the pill count and per pill cost when comparing meds. And if that was the only misgiving, then I would've deducted a star, chalked it up to a mere miscommunication and moved on. Then, the expedited shipping that I paid for ($20) wasn't executed by the pharmacy. Fortunately, or so I thought, I caught that error and contacted Lemonaid to correct it. They agreed to overnight another order, but it still didn't reach me in time before my scheduled travel. At this point I had spent $130 for literally nothing. But with appointments still scarce, I contacted Lemonaid to switch the refill to the daily dosage. This was always the intention and had been discussed explicitly in my telehealth visit. In fact, I was specifically told that dosage changes were permitted without a follow-up visit if the request was made within 90 days. My request was submitted in less than thirty. However, it was ignored and I was charged the full price ($220) for the dosage I didn't want or need. I contacted Lemonaid again when the charge appeared on my credit card. My message VERY CLEARLY RESCINDED ANY PREVIOUS CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATIONS and asked that the grievance be resolved satisfactorily and immediately. Someone responded and said they would send a return label to me for a refund, but that label or any further communication was never received. At the point I searched for an executive point of contact to follow-up with outside of their patient portal to address my customer service concerns. I found none, but logged into their portal today to find that I had been charged for the unwanted Rx again in December and that they had processed another charge today. If you're keeping score, that is $770, plus $45 for the visit and expedited shipping that didn't reach me in time. And I have taken a grand total of 4 pills from initial Rx. I contacted Lemonaid again today to reiterate that these charges were unauthorized and gave them until COB to confirm a pending refund. That message was largely ignored as well. An agent did respond to say that they have cancelled and refunded THIS pending order. And I'm still going to attempt to resolve the previous grievances via telephone. But since I communicated in my message today that I would contacting the ComplaintsBoard.com, Secretary of State and my credit issuer about the unauthorized charges, this is the first step in making good on that promise. The agent who responded to my first message had the right idea in offering a full refund and fresh start, if only that had actually happened. Because while I would have been a perfectly happy customer with the $30 promotional rate and the subsequent ballooning to $240/$8 per pill refill, their communication and follow-up, or lack thereof, leave me wholly regretting the experience I was reluctant to endeavor into in the first place. Maybe their response to this message will be more thoughtful and thorough than my experience has been thus far, but in lieu of that, I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone to to risk their time, energy and money in the way that I have thus far.

Ageism. They refuse care to anyone over 64. NP *** Laveaux cold and super intrusive. I wanted a simple script for Lexapro which I had lots of good experience with and she grilled me for a long time about stuff like why i took a scopolamime patch for a flight to Mexico She tapped into my home pharmacy data and wanted to know about every last old expired prescription It was a really upsetting experience. . THEN she said I would be dumped in a few months anyway as soon as I turn 64
Would not give me migraine medicine even though I was seen via telehealth and diagnosed with migraine disorder. Wanted me to get checked by a dr but I don't have insurance and can't afford tests like blood work and CT scans. This is the second time they have denied me medication even though I told them I have used prescription medication with good results in the past and that I have had a migraine going on 3 days now. I thought these services were put in place to help people who don't have insurance get medical care at reasonable costs. Guess I was wrong.
Reckless, unprofessional and incapable of demonstrating any competency for providing treatment. I'm far worse off having trusted them with my care.
