misleading emails/ charges
After being a customer for over a year i paused my subscription. I received an email stating that I had an order that was already paid for…if i would just update my personal info they would ship it out. I verified my info and they sent me a shipping notice. saying it would be shipped soon. They then tried to charge my expired card and sent me an email saying my prescription was on hold because of a failed payment. I called them and made them aware of the situation. They admitted that it was just a marketing email to get me to update my stuff so they could charge my card. i told them that is not marketing, but instead, dishonest.

I have had a similar experience to many of the other reviewers. Completely my fault for not reading the reviews before I became a customer with them. To begin I was charged for an order that I did not complete online! Once I received the order I just kept it thinking that was it. At no point did I think this was going to be a recurring charge that can basically go on indefinitely without you having to renew. They make it next to impossible for you as a member to go on the website and cancel any membership. *** is horrible! When you call once you finally get someone they start by telling you basically you are stuck with a product you don't want and didn't order. It goes downhill from there. Buyer beware of this bad faith company. I guess it is kind of legal what they are doing because they do ship you a (generic) product. I question their legitimacy however. Very shady business practices going on here.

I will be filing formal complaints with federal and state (commerce and medical) regulatory agencies against Rex MD and their doctor (name redacted here). After their doctor approved my prescription and after Rex MD charged my credit card, Rex MD is now refusing to ship my order. They admitted a snafu on their end two weeks ago but *stillhave not shipped my order. I want the *** Attorney General, FTC, *** and the medical board (where their doctor is licensed) to review my order and to review my medications relative to my approved prescriptions, and Rex MD's failure to ship my order (and failure to refund my money). Something is wrong with Rex MD and this should be investigated.

This same problem happened to me. The dates and cost are different, everything else followed almost word for word. talking to them on the phone as I type this in. How can they get away with all the false advertising in all the locations. They said it has been stopped and my money will be refunded. Someone cold called me today from RexMD, named *** I believe... asking me If I was "***" and if I wanted to get a prescription for *** and that she was following up on a request for info that I never made in the first place. I asked her where she got my number and info from, and she said *** I said that I never sent away for information, and she insisted I did. My wife works from home and was sitting next to me and heard the conversation on speakerphone. She was rude and unprofessional, so I told her to "***, Lady", which she laughed and said "That's not very professional." I countered, "Did I call you a Lady? I misspoke." and I hung up the phone.1. She didn't verify my info before talking with me about my medical information on the phone... that's a HIPAA violation.2. She called me a liar. I don't need to be professional, I'm the customer, not the salesperson who just violated my rights. Why would I do business with someone like that?3. If I was going to subscribe to a Men's Health supplement, I'd talk with my wife about it first before talking about it with a complete stranger.

But, our prices are typically less than the average pharmacy, and our online visits less than your copay."It's true that my insurance doesn't cover the drug, but if you use a free service like ***, which is available to anybody regardless of insurance status, you can get 90 25 mg tablets for less than $15. My copay for a doctor visit is $15. I've had 4 different health insurance companies throughout my life, and I've never had an office visit copay that was more than $30.Their support site also says you can cancel anytime from your account page, which isn't true either. I've had to open a support ticket just to try to get my account cancelled.Like I said, it's convenient and helpful from a medical standpoint, but it's dishonest when it comes to the cost and ease of cancellation. This is aimed at either people who are really new to how insurance and prescriptions work, or is just meant to prey on insecurity.

They said the site was under maintenance and to send them the review for posting. Clearly, Rex MD filters reviews. I plan to share my experience on Complaintsboard.com and elsewhere. I've cancelled my Rex MD account and changed my credit card number to prevent further issues. My order hasn't shipped, only a label was created, so I can't dispute the charge yet. I got a prescription and they automatically put me into a renewal program and recharged me. They charged me June 4 and texted me June 7th that it was in the mail and too late too cancel. By not telling your customers you are in a renewal program and then not letting your cancel is not fair and refuse to pay an extra $100. The medicine I was looking for requires a consultation with a docor. Didn't do that either. On 6-19-22 I noticed they took $60 from my bank account. I called them on 6-20-22 I called them saying I didn't complete the process and they shouldn't have charged me. They got rude and said I was approved and order has already shipped and can't get a refund. The status online still says not shipped as of 6-22-22. I find this as fraudulent as you can get. They flat out lie to you over the phone. They said they canceled my account and even sent an email saying so that I have a copy of. We shall see.

I received an email notification to refill an online prescription in late September. I immediately called and went online to cancel the order and as well as any future charges. Nevertheless, the company went ahead to ship the prescription after I had spoken with a floor manager regarding my request to cancel the present order and any future orders. The order was shipped by *** and when it was out for delivery I stayed home and when the driver showed up I refused the delivery and asked that the package be returned to the sender. I disputed the charge through my bank, but REX MD did not agree and asked to charge me back. I just called Rex MD to complain about this, but they are unwilling to refund me back my money. It seems to me that this is a total scam and unprofessional business.

I had an ongoing monthly prescription with RexMD for about a year. Last months prescription was charged to my credit card, but never filled or delivered. My card was charged on Feb 19, but as of today, their web portal still lists the order as "Not Shipped". I filed a complaint through Harley-Davidson Cardmember Services to report the company and sought reimbursement for the transaction. I had my card replaced and received support to prevent further transactions with REX MD. However, two years later, REX MD charged my new card, which had a new security code. The post date was 08/16, and the transaction date was 08/12 with a reference number and the same amount of $102.00. I called Harley-Davidson Visa Cardmember Service and filed another complaint; they are investigating the issue. I have contacted REX MD before, and now they keep giving me the runaround and trying to sell me more products. I need help with this problem. I never received the $102.00 back from two years ago, and it seems REX MD thinks they can repeat the charge.

10/19 an order for $60 in mens health products were placed with the promise of 2-3 day receipt of products. 10/21 the items still have not shipped and when contacted I was told they had no ETA on the items. Researched the company to find out this is a common issue with MED RX. I call on 10/22 to check on status and am once again told no ETA. I ask for the order to be canceled and any and all reoccurring charges to be canceled as well. The representative confirmed the cancelation of the order. I asked when a refund would issued and I was told it would not. I paid in full for the order on 10/19. Did not receive the order and was not refunded even though MEDRX did not deliver or even provide an expected ETA on the purchase when they promise 2-3day delivery. They also did not say I would not be reimbursed for the purchase until AFTER they canceled it. They charged my credit card and failed to meet any of their promised timelines or deliver the product, yet refuse to refund my money. This is a scam.

I had used RexMD as an online pharmacy in [protected]. I stopped doing business with then in mid 2021. I received an unsolicited email from them in June 2022 informing me that I had refills left on my prescription & offering a 70% discount if I started using them again. I placed an order for a 3 month supply of meds and my credit card was immediately charged the undiscounted price of $204. A few days later I received an email telling me that my prescription had expired and leading me to a link where I completed the questions to renew my prescription. A few days after that I received an email requesting a photo of my state driver's license. I was not comfortable sharing that with them so I emailed them and requested to have my money refunded. I received an email response stating that I had to do that by phone. On July 7, 2022 I phoned their customer service and requested a refund. They refused to do so. So as of now, they are refusing to send me the meds and also refusing to refund the $204 that my credit card was billed.

On November 4 I received an email that stated that "two more" of the product was going to be shipped and that my debit card would be charged $102.00. The email provided me with a phone number to call immediately if any of the information was incorrect. I immediately called the number provided, explained that I was unaware that this was a "subscription" type service for this product (personal care). During the phone conversation, the representative assured me that as the product had not yet shipped she would immediately cancel the subscription and the $102.00 would not be charged to my account. Today I received an email from the same company stating that the product had shipped and my bank verified that $102.00 was debited from my account. After spending a significant amount of time on the phone this evening I was informed that as the product had already shipped today that they could not refund my money nor could I "refuse" to accept the package.

I ordered some medications on line from RexMD and received medications as ordered onNovember 5. I received a text from RexMD on May 12 2022 saying your order has shipped. I received another order of the same medications on May 16 2022. I called RexMD on May 17 2022 and talked with a billing representative and was told they automatically send out new medications every 6 months. I told her I never ordered or wanted automatic refills and I wanted to return for credit. Was told they don't take returns or give credit back for retuns. I then asked why they didn't send a text or email letting me know about upcoming order so I could have stopped the order, they only sent the text Your order has shipped. After getting no resolution I asked to talk with a manager and she said ok. I was put on hold for about 10 minutes. The representative came back on the phone and said all managers were busy, but one would call me later in the day. Never heard back from anyone from RexMD. I am in my seventies and on a fixed income. This will affect me greatly.

On 1/25/22 I placed an order for medication tablets from REX MD. There was an ad on the Internet selling this product. After answering some health questions on their website, I was advised by their healthcare professional to use the medication. They sent me 24 tablets for $204. After using 10 tablets with no results, I contacted the company. I wanted to return the remaining tablets for a partial refund and cancel future shipments. I was told they have a no-refund policy on medication but offered to let me try a similar product for free. Three weeks later, I hadn't received anything. They were processing more orders and billing my card. I found out via an email from REX MD. I called to cancel the next order and ask about the promised product. They canceled the order but wanted $60 more for another product. I refused to pay more to a company not standing by their product. They also don't disclose their no-refund policy on their forms.

I first placed an order on March 6th 2022 for Finasteride via prescription through their webpage. It included over the counter shampoo. On their website it showed the order was shipped a couple days later with a single shipping number. The medication arrived but the shampoo did not. I emailed them about the missing order on 3/12/22. They responded back and put in a new order for the shampoo to be sent on 3/16/22. I contacted them again on 4/3/22 due to still not receiving the order. I requested to have my money refunded for the missing product. I was told that they would not refund my money and as of this writing 4/18/22 I still have yet to receive the product or shipping information. I was told that because it was a bundle they would not do a refund. The shampoo and meds can be purchased separately thru them but they will not send me the money for the difference in the price. The order was for 6 month supply of both for $225. The medication can be order in a 6 month supply for $17.60 a month ($105.60 for 6 months). That leaves a balance of $119.40 for the 6 months of shampoo. It has been almost a month in a half and still no product but they had no problem taking my money and refusing to refund any money for no product. Reading forums and posts online this seems to be a reoccurring issue with this company with multiple excuses given by them and them refusing to refund anyone's money.

I responded to a TV ad about a free or discounted (I can't remember) one month trial of prescription medication. I Called and talked to a doctor who approved me. I was staying at a hotel at the time as I travel a lot for work and they said the product should be there in a few days. I agreed knowing the risk that I would not receive it in time. I never received anything which did not bother as it was a free trial. Six months later I realized they had been charging my credit card $60 every month. I called to explain to them that I never wanted a monthly subscription and I have never received anything and I don't live at the address I ordered from. They claimed they had been sending it to the hotel every month (the hotel disputes this but who knows) and they can't give me any refund, I say fine just stop sending it now please. Six months later (today) I realize that they started charging me again! Again claiming that they are sending it to the hotel I stayed at last year. They even acknowledged that they could see that I "tried to cancel" in June (never wanted monthly to begin with) but still would not do anything about the past few months charges. They hung up on me when I told them I was canceling the credit cards and that I didn't believe them that they were going to cancel this time. I did immediately cancel the credit card that they had on file and reported them to the credit card company. 20 minutes later I get a notification that they just tried to charge that card again!

No way is readily available online to cancel this setting requiring contact with customer service.Additional Order Information: Order Shipment Address was not verified prior to automatic refill shipment, Order shipped to non-current address and was returned to sender.Charge to Credit Card on File: $384.00 Contact with Rex MD on June 7, 2022: Contacted customer service of *** after evaluating prior months credit card statement. The *** immediately cancelled the recurring order, but would not refund the charges for the unauthorized and not received product. Upon request, *** escalated the call to a supervisor who explained that the policy of the Rex MD is to not refund shipped prescriptions (no exceptions). When pressed that I did not knowingly authorize the recurring order and that that order shipped to an unauthorized address and that I needed to be made whole, I suggested a merchandise credit which was accepted, but would have to be processed on a new prescription. With no new prescriptions possible, we ended up back at no other options and no refund. Basis of Dispute: First, recurring orders or auto-order is embedded in the T&C's likely ensuring many customers miss that the customer is automatically signing up for recurring orders when signing up with Rex MD. Also no online method of removing auto-orders. Second, no attempt was made to verify the shipment details leading to a mis-shipment, return-to-sender situation for the auto-order. Third, Rex MD is willing to credit a mistake as long as it does not lead to a cash credit back to the customer.
