Dealing with them has been SUCH A HEADACHE. It takes forever to respond and I'm starting to think these responses are AI generated because they keep stating the same useless crap that lead nowhere. My pharmacy has been trying to get in touch with someone to get an approval for an alternative med that's covered by my insurance. (Btw they didn't even send the med I requested) I've been out of birth control for a month now. If I didn't pay the consult fee for the whole year I would absolutely cut ties right now... I might even regardless if this goes on.
Recommendation: AVOID
I am very disappointed
I am very disappointed. I started using Nurx because my obgyn couldnt get me in on time to renew my prescription to help with my chronic condition and Nurx helped get me 3 packs of my birth control the first time. When it came to the next order it kept declining my card and canceling my order. I tried rentering my card info even though everything already was correct and it declined again. The chat help in the app was basically useless. So I called my bank and they said the card was declining just for Nurx, all other purchases went through, because they were submitting my expiration date wrong, which I quadruple checked I had input correctly. I called Nurx and the first employee I spoke to was super helpful and even entered my info in again for me and resubmited my order. 20 minutes later it declined my card again and my order was canceled. I called yet again as the previous employee advised to escalate the situation and *** looked in to my situation and messaged her managers and told me to give it 24 hours. The next day I get a message from her stating her managers didnt see why it would decline my card on their end and that I should use another card to pay. If I had another card to pay with, I would have done that to begin with but at this time, I only have this card. They offered no other solution and just told me to call again if I have questions. No I am frantically searching for a way to get my prescription so I am not in excruciating pain. I wish I would have read other reviews before I put my trust in this company, I am very disappointed.

Terrible patient service/care. They have sent wrong medication several times, and take days/weeks to reply to your concerns. I paid for a subscription for 12 months, and requested they send the prescription to my pharmacy (after realizing that they were previously charging me full price when they were sending it to my door, and it turns out my insurance covers the costs FULLY). They ended up sending only a 1 month supply (and not the paid 12 month supply), and didn't even give me a reason or notification. I've reached out to them multiple times, and only got their copy/paste bot response how they are having "unusually high numbers of requests and someone will get back to me ASAP". I ended up calling my pharmacy who said they had sent them a refill request and never heard back. I'm now out of my hormonal medication and nobody cares to reply why this happened or what I should expect for having to skip an entire month due to their negligence. Patients please be advised!
Message response time and prescription filling much too slow or completely absent.
I've been using them for YEARS. Since mid 2022 I didn't have issues until then. First was my change in insurance. Instead of TELLING ME my new insurance wasn't accepted, I kept getting pushed aside for WEEKS with zero update. It took a phone call, with a very rude individual, to tell me the reason. I waited WEEKS and had a gap in my coverage of medication. NOW.. I'm due for a refill and began the process 2 WEEKS ago. 2 WEEKS AGO. I get excuse responses after DAYS of waiting. However they had *** with taking my payment for another consultation asap. In my opinion it's THEFT when you neglect your patients and don't provide the service that you took payment for.. as welll as unethical. And to TOP it off they aren't even READING or communicating. They are working on a LICENSE. One individual states they acknowledge where it needs sent to fill.. then another responds that I'll get shipping information once my medication was filled by THEIR pharmacy. If you aren't reading anything thoroughly then you should be prescribing anything! I want my money back or my prescription sent to my pharmacy. And I will NEVER be doing business with this company again. They obviously aren't worried about anyone's health or wellness.
This is the worst customer service I've ever had
This is the worst customer service I've ever had. I'd give them 0 star if I could. First of all, they changed my routinely taking birth control pills to another brand which is at cheaper prices for no reason. Secondly, I uploaded my ID and insurance card to make sure they'd reach out to my insurance company for reimbursement. The first time they dispatched my pills they charged me for $45 and I was surprised because my insurance company has been covering the cost for birth control pills for the past two years. So I contacted their customer service and they agreed to cancel that charge after a long and painful discussion with their technician. They also promised me that from then on they'll start charging on the insurance company. Until recently I found out that they've been charging me every 3 months for $45 and when I called them, they kept saying that it is my responsibility to contact my insurance company for reimbursement. They don't even care when the customer doesn't want to continue to use their services. Overall I don't think it's worth it to pay 15$ membership fee to Nurx. You can definitely get into less trouble if you choose somewhere else, especially that you need to take the pills regularly. It's more that frustrating when you get into trouble with getting them, given that their customer service responds slowly and non-proactively. It seems like Nurx has put a lot into promotions or advertisements other than satisfying their customers. I honestly don't know where all the reviews come from, but hopefully my review would help those who're still trying to make a decision.
Nurx should be shut down. It is a scam. They have a phone number that no one answers. You can DM them, but they wont answer. It is difficult to even close your account on the app. This is a business that should be shut down.
I paid Nurx for their visit fee and the never completed the exam nor did they respond to my requests to be refunded. This is called stealing. They took my money and did not deliver as promised. Save yourself the grief and dont do business with them.
I concur with the numerous negative critiques about the extensive wait times and the deceptive practices that effectively deny you a refund by charging for a doctor's consultation. Given that they provide emergency contraception, among other products, it's absurd that it takes more than one to two business days just to get a response. On the two occasions I requested emergency contraception from them, I experienced a delay of five days for them to process my request. Considering the time-sensitive nature of taking emergency contraception, which is effective only within a limited period after unprotected intimacy, a five-day wait for a mere acknowledgment is preposterous. This is especially critical as I would then need to wait for a pharmacy to potentially take an additional day or more to prepare the prescription.
Nurx charged my credit card and no one has an answer as to the status of my order. They keep sending an auto generated email that someone from their medical team will contact me soon. They apologize for the delay response for every single email sent to them. Every response is exactly the same. Its difficult to cancel. They do not pick up the phone either. This is truly a scam! I called my credit card and now reporting it on Complaintsboard.com.
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. I thought I'd try Nurx instead of going to a gyno every time i needed my birth control refilled... Biggest consumer mistake I have ever made. First, they require you to fill out insurance and credit card information and pay a $15 "consultation fee" before you can even request BC. Then, they ask you some questions and tell you at the end that a doctor will "review your request and prescribe an option they think will work for you." I asked if I would be able to approve the doctor's choice before they finalize the prescription because there are several birth control options out there that simply will not work for me - no answer from Nurx. 2 days later, they informed me that "my doctor" had prescribed Crystelle-28 (one of the worst possible birth control pills on the market) and that the prescription was being sent to their "pharmacy" for processing. I responded within 5 minutes of recieving that message and asked them to cancel the order because the prescribed birth control will not work for me. I was then told that, because I had submitted my insurance and card info and "checked out" when i recieved my "consultation," the order could not be cancelled. I immediately called my insurance company and asked them to reject anything they recieve from Nurx. In their terms and conditions, Nurx SAYS they will contact me if they cannot bill my insurance, so we will see if they actually do when my insurance rejects them in the next day or so. Bottom line is Nurx is a nightmare of a company to deal with. RUN. Just go to yoir regulat gyno for birth control. This isn't worth the headache.
Terrible company. Do not use. All they did was ask a bunch of questions, charged $40. I am still waiting for a provider to review my profile to send my medication. And I'm still waiting. I want a refund but the customer service line will put you on hold forever so you just give up and lose the 40 bucks. I warned all people not to use this company. It is a waste of time and money. If can leave a Zero star I would. they don't deserve to take people money like this and offer them nothing.
the WORST experience ever . if you are like me, who's just seen the add in instagram and thought "wow what an easy way to treat my skin problem. there's a delivery and there's no waiting time for an appointment" . DON'T do it. they will tell you that there's a delay due to amount of texting people. BUT there's no delays on charges!.
This company is a scam! Thought I would try them for birth control since my annual is in three months. I go through the questionnaire and advise I ONLY WANT a certain brand since it worked so well for me in the past. SPECIFIC BRAND ! NO GENERIC ! I put this in the questionnaire and even told the doctor! I wait about another week after this and they still haven't shipped out anything so I message customer support. As they were confirming all my details to redo the script I am then told I never asked for no generic and now I need to pay ANOTHER $20 and get reevaluated! It had already been 2 weeks at that point and NOTHING moved, and again THEY WERE TOLD FROM THE BEGINNING NO GENERIC! In the meantime, I go through Favor *** and was evaluated and already have my meds a week later. I request to cancel and get my $20 back after since I was not waiting another who knows how long to be evaluated AGAIN AND I AM STILL GETTING THE RUN AROUND FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE! Your company is that bad off you need to scam people for $20? unbelievable!
God awful
God awful. One they *** that with adding your insurance your prescription can be as little as $15 dollars a month. But fail to notify you if your insurance rejects the prescription then charge you full price for a medication. They did not once let me know that because my insurance did not cover their services/medication that I would be billed full price then not receive my medication at all. I was supposed to receive medication through the mail on August 15,2022. I waited and waited checking the app and asking what is going on with my prescription, I didnt get a reply for 3 weeks. When insurance declined to cover the medication Nurx chose they canceled the shipment but did not let me know that insurance didnt cover it and that they werent sending my medication. Then I asked for a status update, no reply. Then they said they could ship my prescription to my local pharmacy since they had messed up me receiving my order by mail. I went to CVS multiply times and the pharmacy never received my prescription from Nurx. Only to find out under reviews it had been cancelled yet again because of insurance. Even after I changed my settings to remove my insurance and ask to pay out of pocket which they already charged me for. The only prescription I got was the one I signed up for the first month. No one has contacted me until today when I put in a new order and tried to cancel my old prescription. Probably wont get a response again since its been two months since the last reply. I am very sensitive to hormonal birth control and if I had known they were not going to ship the seconds month worth, I would not have taken the first month.

This company is such a waste of time and money. Ive submitted my photos for review several weeks ago and each time I reach out to see the status of my request of ***, I get the same exact response that somebody will be with me shortly with an answer (which I never get). Im paying for a medication I havent even received. Youre better off going to a dermatologist for quicker treatment. As I can see from the other multiple 1-star reviews I wish I could leave zero. I dont know how this company is still in business.
Never filled prescription and sent it but charged me. This is a fraudulent company. Do not seek treatment through them.
Canceled my order due to not receiving any service and they never refunded my money. Tried to contact many times and did not receive any answer. Will never order from this site
Nurx is a scam. They are going to attempt to extract your money from you without providing you their service due to their unrealistically long delays and false promises of punctuality. I gave Nurx my information, what I wanted, and was told I would see a physician in two days; it has been over 5 and I have not received a follow-up email. I already have an appointment with another physician so no longer need this physician. After asking for a refund for my $45, per their refund policy, I have gotten no response. It's unfortunate, because if I had simply gotten a refund, I would have written this off as a matter of holidays being busy, and considered using them again.
I used Nurx on the better half of 2 years
I used Nurx on the better half of 2 years. In the beginning, my experience was largely positive. I had the same medication mailed to me every 3 months, communication was punctual, the only things I was being charged for were the medication (I had no insurance at the time). This was pre-consultation pricing of $15/year. Then things started to fall off. I started getting medication with a different name, but "their ingredients were the same" (Spoiler alert: they're not). And when I had to communicate that I only wanted a specific brand name, I had to jump through 5 hoops for this. Eventually, I got my way, and things were smooth sailing. Smash cut to later and later communication on when meds would be delivered (Latest for me was 9 working days). Lack of protocol. (I was asked to personally call my pharmacy to check if my medication was available there. Why am I being asked to do their job?) What eventually broke the camel's back for me was the accumulation of all of the above issues PLUS the annual $15 consultation pricing + their lack of administration competence. Look, I don't mind paying $15 every year to ensure I have birth control, but don't charge me and then get worse at your job on top of all of these previous issues. For the past 2 months, they were unable to "process my insurance", therefore leading to delays in getting my meds. For ref, I've had MANY doctor appointments in the past 2 months and none of them have had issues with processing my insurance. I eventually just asked my PCP for a 12-month prescrip, and will no longer be using Nurx. I strongly urge that if you're reading this, to reconsider all of the issues above and see if it's worth the potential time, and stress for medication.
If you think that you will get medical treatment by a qualified medical doctor you are wrong
If you think that you will get medical treatment by a qualified medical doctor you are wrong. This site is over run with unsupervised mid level providers (nurse practitioners and physicians assistants). I am a professional and I think that mid level providers have their place but not unsupervised in online telemedicine. My concern is that this company is using false advertising. They make it appear that your care will be managed by a qualified medical professional. But physicians assist are just that assistants to a medical doctor. They should by no means be practicing independently and doing initial medical consultations, this is truly dangerous. My experience with the nurx PA-C is a clear example why Nurx is a dangerous company. I used nurx to continue a treatment migraine that I had been successfully treated with for over 5 years. I provided accurate medical history and answered all questions that the were asked. The PA then proceeded to tell me that the medication I have been on caused my genetic condition. I attempted to explain that I was diagnosed with a genetic condition long before I was taking the medication and that the specialist treating my genetic condition was aware of the medication and approved of it. The PA refused to order the medication because he believed the side effect of the medication was the cause of my genetic condition I understand that providers on nurx have the right to not prescribe a requested medication. However I am concerned about the medical competency of the PA and other mid levels on this site. If the PA lacks the basic knowledge to understand that a medication cannot cause a genetic medical condition what other knowledge is he lacking and furthermore what other mistakes is he making.

Nurx cancelled my birth control prescription without any advance warning
Nurx cancelled my birth control prescription without any advance warning. It is medically necessary to treat my PCOS and this is the only treatment available. If I miss my pill for 2 consecutive days I develop debilitating hormonal migraines and severe depression. The meds are necessary to maintain my quality of life. I have a high bmi which means birth control poses a risk of blood clots for me. I am well aware of this. But every obgyn I've ever seen has told me that risk is minimal compared to the severe symptoms I experience without the pills. The risk of blood clots is also most pronounced when just starting the medication. I have been on it or years. When I joined Nurx in 2020, my prescriber agreed with every other Dr who said that hormonal birth control is medically necessary for me, and she was happy to prescribe it as long as I was ok with the risk. I said I was. All of this was documented. This week, someone who had never spoken to me took one look at my bmi and cancelled my prescription without warning. I told her that it is medically necessary to maintain my quality of life and that I am aware of the risk, and that in my case, the benefits far outweigh those risks. She dismissed this. This one person who had never met me or spoken to me decided to destroy my quality of life. She didn't even bother to do further research. Chronic illness requires a constant choice between risk and benefit. Each patient has the right to hear advice and make that choice for themself. She took away my right to choose the best treatment option for myself. She did not care about my wellbeing or quality of life, and she caused me serious harm by revoking my medication without warning. No patient should ever have meds taken away without warning. Nurx is harming patients.

Pros: Convenient online telehealth service to obtain prescriptions living in an area where appointments to get into a dermatologist are over a 6
Pros: Convenient online telehealth service to obtain prescriptions living in an area where appointments to get into a dermatologist are over a 6 month wait. In the beginning I was overjoyed for this service but then the issues started. Cons: THEIR ONLINE WEB SERVICE APP IS TERRIBLE! You cannot update credit cards, delete credit cards, etc. Everything has to be a message to them thru the app for Nurx to update. Which means they can continue to send you meds you don't need and *** you, even when you say not to!Billing: The ~$45 consult is the first cost (yearly fee - not one time fee!). Nurx didn't accept *** I paid out of pocket for prescriptions. I tried to use my *** account to pay and they denied. I tried to get a receipt for my services so I could expense to HSA account, and it was like pulling teeth. When you have any purchase/transaction on your credit card you should ALWAYS be given a receipt. Customer Relations: Long response time waits via chat - you send a message and it takes *** hours for response (between each message!). Communication takes well over a week. In the beginning I figured they were working out the bugs of a new system but it has become much worse. Nurx sends message that they are preparing your prescription and to message them with any updates. I sent a message that I have full bottle and please don't ship any more medication. A week later they sent another message they were charging my card - Once again I said please do not send! Fast forward - between them not accepting my insurance, needing to constantly ask for receipts , and shipping medications I don't need I decided to cancel my subscription. WAIT - there is no cancel subscription button! No phone number to call. I had to message them to cancel my subscription. Now I'm waiting.

With COVID, it has made it harder at times to see a doctor, therefore, I went with this company to attempt to get a prescription
With COVID, it has made it harder at times to see a doctor, therefore, I went with this company to attempt to get a prescription. Initially I saw there was a $15.00 fee, which I thought was ridiculous but went with them anyway because I knew my insurance would pay for anything else. I uploaded all the documents requested and provided all other information. Next thing I get a message stating my insurance is terminated, which is a blatant lie. I see a therapist every week and my autistic son is also in 3 different therapies, several days a week. My husband still works for the company and our insurance had NOT been terminated (I checked also, just in case there were some issues). I messaged them back that was incorrect. They never messaged me back in reference to that. I then get a message that they are charging me $75.00 for this prescription, which I did NOT authorize. Why would I pay $75.00 for a prescription I can get for free through my insurance. I messaged back stating I do not want this item and that I believe they are a ***. Again, no message back from them. I go into my account to attempt to delete my card, my insurance card and my ID, which I am unable to do because there isn't an option to delete/remove. I call my bank to dispute the charge and close my card, since there was an unauthorized charge and they aren't allowing me to delete my card. I go back to the account to see if I can close the account, which I can't. Now I see they have removed my insurance card information. I decide to just put a stock photo in place of my ID and where my card should be. I don't know if they are a ***, but their customer service is horrible. I messaged them back on their thread several times, with no response other than to charge me. Do your research and DO NOT use this company! I wish I would've researched them first!
I signed up to try out acne medication for Nurx
I signed up to try out acne medication for Nurx. I do not have acne, but I did want to try out Tretinoin for general skincare and like many people, was attracted by the supposed ease of getting medication and telehealth options. TLDR: Highly unethical business practices. Nurx charged me $90 for Tretinoin and only told me the charges AFTER the product was shipped out. They then told me they cannot make any changes as the product has already been shipped out and they cannot accept returned medications. It is extremely alarming to me that they are doing this and I'm sure I'm not the first customer. What business charges someone without discussing with them first? $40 consultation fee - If you want to speak to a provider, make sure that you indicate very clearly that you want to talk a provider before any prescriptions are processed. Nurx takes the lazy way out and seemed to just give me any prescription that you asked for without actually discussing it with me. They did this even though I indicated in the intake survey that I want to discuss my medication with a provider, as I have never been prescribed or used Tretinoin before. $90 charge for Tretinoin - After "reviewing" my request, my provider prescribed me Tretinoin and sent me a message with instructions on how to use it. There was nothing there about the pricing. The next day, I received a message saying that my prescription has shipped out and I will be billed $90. I was not told about this charge and I did not approve of this charge. There advertising says that many people pay $0 and as low as $30 a month. I understand that it might differ in my case, but I expected the pricing to be discussed with me at the very least. I would not have gone ahead if I had known it would cost $90. Nurx then told me that they cannot change anything since the medication is already shipped out and they cannot accept returned medications.

I had trouble with nurx from the get go
I had trouble with nurx from the get go. They make you give all your information up front so they can charge you without question. I spent 4 days going back and forth just to confirm there wasn't an extra charge for having the prescription sent to my pharmacy, which I had asked for because I live in a big apartment building and packages often go missing, plus I move around a lot so I need a place I can come grab it instead. The messaging app is unresponsive, and will constantly change who you are talking to, and it doesn't seem like the people who follow up read previous messages in the thread to figure out where you are. More importantly, I asked for a topical acne prescription, and I was prescribed in addition an ingested drug that I was not consulted about and I had no choice because they immediately charged my card and didn't even send it to my pharmacy like I had asked. I'm fine with working with topicals without a doctor *** but I don't like that the follow-up is so poor when I am ingesting something that could mess with my inner organs. And again, there is no way to cancel the prescription, there is no way to confirm prescription before being charged and having it sent to you, there is no way to change prescription as far as I can tell. They also have hidden charges that they don't talk about, like charging you more for a monthly prescription that you didn't even consult on. I asked to cancel the drug before they sent the prescription and they didn't do it, they completely ignore my messages. I didn't calculate the extra cost of the second drug into my costs for doing this.I would absolutely not recommend using Nurx. It's still cheaper than insurance costs and going to a doctor if you don't need a doctor for any other reason, but their hidden fees, poor service, and lack of consultation make it so uncomfortable that I am getting more acne just from being so stressed out about it.
They are awful!
They are awful! They were quick to take my credit card and charge me the startup consultation fee without anybody actually taking to me once. After filling out a few questions about my previous prescription I waited three days for somebody to message me. They only reached out to tell me they need my Insurance information, which I already provided as a part of onboarding process and sent them pictures of my insurance card front and back. So I sent it to them again. And in a few days they asked for it again, they said the info I provided isnt enough. I have great insurance btw. So I send the same info again. Then I get a message that my prescription isnt available but they have something similar. Ok, lets try it. From the day I decided to sign up with NuRx to the moment my prescription was sent it took almost three weeks. They dont respond to messages and everything takes days to process. Month two and my prescription is different brand again, because they were out of the previous one. Both times they figured out how to charge my insurance so everything was good. Month three and they are having issues with my insurance, says its terminated. Its not. So instead of reaching out to me, they charge my credit card without my authorization and ship it. Let me mention that I also have it set up on my NuRx account that if they cant charge my insurance they shouldnt ship the prescription to me. They dont reach out to me and charge the c/c. And of course its a different brand AGAIN! When I called them (took half a day to get through) nobody knows anything about anything. They cant answer why they were able to charge insurance the first two times but not the third time. Then they say its because Im shipping it home, I should pick it up from an approved pharmacy, but they dont know which are approved. After I call my insurance and find some info out, I messaged NuRX to send my next script to a pharmacy and its been days and they are not replying to me. Awful!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I've had so many issues with them, on my 1st order! Here's actual chat conversations with them:Nurx -Upon checking your account, your previous order was cancelled & your order is still pending due to Awaiting Credit Card Pre-Authorization.Nurx- Upon checking the $45 that was charged from your account is your Pre-authorization charge.Me- If it was a pre authorization, then why did it post & clear my account? Why was I sent a shipping tracking #?Nurx- As we can see on our end, you don't have a tracking # yet since your order is still not processed. Please send us the photo of your tracking # which was sent to you.Me- Sent 3 pics. Which provides the tracking *** notification Nurx -According to our payment system all pre-authorization charges have been reversed. We also reviewed the tracking information provided, it also confirms order cancellation on 12/19/2023. Me - Please address the $40 payment from Nurx which was NOT a pre-authorization & actually posted to my bank account. I'm now being told that order was canceled, AFTER it was claimed to have been shipped with a tracking # provided & tracking #claims it was delivered. Now I'm being told it wasn't shipped in the 1st place? Then you claim you didn't charge me, though my bank shows Nurx did indeed charge me. What, was the tracking number a mistake too? Or the support emails from Nurx which were templates, which weren't filled out correctly, [name] ..?Nurx -We apologize if we have caused you any frustration or inconvenience. After reviewing your account i see 2 charges that went through successfully. The 1st charge was for $20.00 which was the copay for your medical consultation fee. THE WORST SERVICE EVER AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS FOR YOUR HEALTH
THE WORST SERVICE EVER AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS FOR YOUR HEALTH. They are big liers, falsely inform you, and stop responding to you when they know that they should be blamed. They never respond from their app when you have complains and these pills are very important. I ordered my first pill from them on 3/28. They arrived almost 5 days later (even though they say the delivery takes about 2-3 days...). I started my pill and soon got a notification on 4/22 that they are sending a new pack and have shipped it. I was glad that those will arrive on time. However, I was not receiving anything and I have reached out to them every day from 4/30 via the app. I never got a response. So I called them and the agent tried putting a blame on me saying I should check with my neighbors to see if they received any package. I live in a professionally managed building where they receive my packages for me and such thing never happens. Also, the tracking information was still saying "Pre-shipment". And then they reached out to me (I still had to follow up multiple times), and said they spoke to the pharmacy and will have them send my pills ASAP. This means they admitted that they were the ones who falsely informed me about shipping the pills. I just got a notification that the package is now tracking. Right now, it is almost 5/3 (5/2 at 11pm) and the pills will not arrive until 5/6. That means I am going to be off from my pills for almost a week. I reached out to them asking for medical help since 4/30 about this issue because for these hormonal birth control pills, you should continue taking them for them to be effective and with a week gap, that puts my health in a tremendous risk. I still have not heard back from their medical professionals about the instructions on how I should take the pills they allegedly sent me late and falsely informed me about the shipping information. If this is about a sweater or make up I ordered arriving late, it is not a problem. But these pills are hormonal and are so closely related to my health and for them to mess up something so crucial and put my health into such risk and avoid taking any kind of responsibilities or not providing solutions are absolutely unacceptable. There should be some kind of action taken.
Avoid using Nurx!
Avoid using Nurx! This company provides atrocious service and should not be trusted with medication. First, they charge a $15 dollar fee just to get set up. They call this a consultation, but I literally handed them a prescription from a doctor, so there isn't any actual service being provided. My name didn't match the prescription exactly, so they had to call me to correct my account. Totally understandable. However, the representative didn't process the order afterward, so my order got put into limbo. After not receiving my medication for over a week, I called customer support. They explained they made a mistake, and offered to get the first month filled at a local pharmacy, so I could receive my medication quickly. What they didn't say, is that the pharmacy can charge you whatever they want for the medication. Not only did I have to wait two more days for the medication to get into stock at my local pharmacy, when it became available, they wanted to charge me over $200 for what I thought I signed up with Nurx for $75. Perhaps this would have been good information to provide, BEFORE placing the order. So I call customer service again. Wait about 15 mins to get a rep, but basically she said she could only just place a new order which would take a week to arrive by mail. I asked for a manager. None are available, so I elect for a call back. After not receiving a call back for over an hour, I call back into the system. I then say I'd like to remain on the line until I speak to a manager. The poor customer support agent has no authority, and it literally took her an hour of apologizing to me every 5 mins before a manager would respond to her. After all that, they said they would waive the $15 fee, and I'd have to wait for a week for it to arrive by mail. Note, at this point, I actually didn't realize I got charged an initial fee for being set up, so this didn't seem like a sufficient resolution. This is medication, not candy. If the best Nurx can do to resolve a horrible customer service issue and delayed medication is to waive the fee you shouldn't charge to begin with, to gain customer that would get monthly medication for life, Nurx deserves it's horrible Complaintsboard.com rating. Do NOT trust this dysfunctional company with your personal or medical information.

Nurx Birthcontrol
I had no issues with The Pill Club before they became Nurx. Once it switched over, the first 3 month subscription was fine. The second batch, I had to go to a local pharmacy and have them call Nurx's pharmacy to have by perscription transferred because their pharmacy was out to stock of the birth control I take. Although this wasn't ideal, I totally understand and was okay with making the extra effort. However, the next time this rolled around, Nurx CANCELLED my subscription because they didn't have my medication in stock, instead of offering me an alternative. So, I had to go through and pay AGAIN for the consultation just to get offered an alternative, and they will not refund me even though they never tried to help me in the first place. While they do have a quick service after your consultation, they will appear to extort you for your money in anyway they can...I'll definitely be going back to my doctor after this experience.
Claimed loss: $40.00
Desired outcome: I would like a refund of my money that I never should have had to pay.
Can’t get ahold of customer service
I received birth control through the pill club, and they recently switched to nurx. It has been over 2 weeks and I have emailed multiple times and I call every day (on hold for hours before hanging up) I can’t access my account and I am in need of more medication. I have tried everything and even reset my password because it recognizes my email but I keep getting the same error message “you do not have authorization to access this user account.” At this point I’m worried I’ll be charged and I do not want to be in service with this company due to the trouble I have had getting in touch with someone to help me login to my account.
Desired outcome: Phone call in regards to accessing my account
Fraudulent charges
In October 2022 I decided to give Nurx a try. It was a one time fee for their service. They didn't accept my insurance and the service they provided didn't line up to what was being advertised. I disputed the charge with my bank since Nurx refused to refund. I requested Nurx remove my card from file. Fast forward to today I get a text notification about them charging a $3 service fee. I did NOT authorize or agree to this fee. So I contacted my bank to dispute the charge. Come to find out they charged this "service fee" two other times. I haven't been using them nor did I agree to these charges. I went to check my account and in the setting it says I have no active card on file, yet if I click the prescription, it shows my card. There isn't even a way to cancel the prescription that was supposed to had been canceled after the issues last year. When I originally sign up, it was a one time fee. That was supposed to be it. This company has been a nightmare! My bank is now canceling that account and sending me a new card along with filing fraud charges against this company. If you were considering using them for 'convenience' as I thought I was; don't. I want Nurx to cancel the pending $3 charge. If not, I'll file another fraud charge once it is processed. Additionally, I want my information 100% removed from their website. I do not wish to do business with such a fraudulent company!
Desired outcome: I want Nurx to cancel the pending $3 charge. If not, I'll file another fraud charge once it is processed. Additionally, I want my information 100% removed from their website. I do not wish to do business with such a fraudulent company!

I've been using Nurx for birth control since 2021
I've been using Nurx for birth control since 2021. *** of 2022 it was time to renew my prescription and update my profile. I paid $40USD for the virtual appointment and another year's subscription of Lessina. Part of the info I had to update included my blood pressure since I have a history of hypertension. My prescription was approved and was due to expire *** of 2023. They sent me my next pill pack. The last week of June '22 we were leaving for a trip and I realized my pills hadn't come in the mail and I'd run out in three days. Checked my Nurx account, they abruptly canceled my prescription on 6/6/22. There was 0 correspondence - no email, no text, no message to my portal. They just canceled it without warning. Today is 7/9/22 and I have heard nothing. I submitted a new prescription request for something unrelated and that was immediately taken care of. I tried to call and was given an est. wait time of "***" minutes. That was 7/4/22 - 5 days ago. No calls, no emails, no response. I need a refund. They have not fulfilled the prescription for which I paid for and I was forced to get that taken care of elsewhere. In a time where *** has just been overturned, how the *** are you going to just spontaneously cancel people's birth control? This is asinine! I have never ever ever filed a formal complaint. I'm an easy-going, understanding person. This is beyond effed up. My husband is just as furious as I am because this is just so unethical, dangerous and reckless. You can't just stop someone's hormones without warning...it made me so unwell. They need to get their c*** together before they kill someone. This affects people's mental health and overall well-being...this can't keep happening to people.

12/21/2022 I decided to cancel my subscription since 12/15/2022, due to financial hardship. Then I get a text stating that they need to see my progress, which I then sent another text that I canceled my subscription already. Now today nurx sent a text with a tracking number , even though they said I needed to respond to how Im doing on the medication in order to get my prescription for the month. Nurx doesnt answer through phone or text.
I signed up to see if I could get Tretinoin at a less expensive price than I pay at ***. I filled out the form and was contacted requesting new photos. I said I was not interested anymore. They said they would cancel my account, but they had already deducted $30 from my checking. I requested a refund as I did NOT have a medical consultation and the responding doctor was not able to review my request due to photos. I have requested the refund daily for the past week and have received no response.
Nurx charged me $170 for medication (that THEY recommended) without confirming that the price was ok with me. It is EXTREMELY unethical to assume that patients are willing to pay whatever price for medication; this should be confirmed with the patient before completing the order. When you go to a pharmacy and the price is too high, you just tell them you don't want the medication. At Nurx, they just charge you without telling you the price!I need to be reimbursed for the medication that was charged to my card without my consent. I would have never accepted the recommended medications if I knew they were so expensive. The price of the medication was ONLY mentioned after they had already charged me and shipped it. They never mentioned the price prior to charging me.
I had requested a prescription for my birth control pills in mid-November . Got an automatic message that said my order would ship in 2-3 days...Well, it's now December 27th and have heard nothing further and the order is still Pending.I ended up calling my local doctors office to get a prescription, so the $20 fee that I had to pay to NURX was a total ***, I want to just cancel this "order" and remove my payment information, but no one at NURX will respond.I have tried every way possible (their messages, email, and phone) and no one will answer!
I created an account with NURX on September 28, 2022 in effort to obtain Birth Control
I created an account with NURX on September 28, 2022 in effort to obtain Birth Control. During the process of creating an account. NURX requested photo copies of my insurance, I have two. I provided a photo for my 1st insurance with Optima and a second photo which indicated my secondary insurance. After speaking with a physician, I received a message the next days stating my insurance denied the claim. After receiving this I thought it was odd so I contacted my PRIMARY insurance, *** whom was unable to locate a claim entered from NURX. I spoke with *** on the phone on October 01, 2022. I questions which insurance the claim was entered through. She advised me Tricare. I questioned why as they are listed as my secondary insurance. She did not have an answer. During this process i was charged *** for 3 months. I advised her they filed a claim incorrectly and I was upset as someone behind the scenes is clearly not paying attention to the documentation submitted. She advised she would follow up with management to reach a resolution. I have not heard from her or anyone for that matter via phone as *** advised. I did get a message from *** today [protected]) stating they would file through my optima in the future.. No. no and no. Again my concern was not addressed. I would like a refund as my insurance would cover the prescription and I should not have been charged. I also advised her I authorized a charge for $15.00 for the consultation and I was messaged stating my card would be charged ***. No body called me to tell me the claim was declined. They didn't even bother filing a claim with my *** at all. Clearly something is wrong behind the scenes and I am requesting a refund due to error on their behalf.

I was trying to buy an emergency contraceptive with Nurx and Id message them to get updated if my order went through or not. No answers! Finally I called them and they told me they could not take my insurance. I paid a $15 fee so they could ship it overnight and they havent refunded me at all like they said they would. youd think theyd tell me right away if I was eligible, I mean Im getting a plan b for the sole reason that I need it quick! They told me to pay out of pocket and I refused. *** is horrible.
Nurx refuses to cancel and close my account. The only way to do it is to reach out to support, but after multiple messages over 6 days, it has not been acknowledged. They have sent me other messages during that time ignoring my request. I started asking for my account to be closed on Decembeer 13 and have not been acknowledged as of December 19 *** is unprofessional and scammy.
I made the same mistake everyone else here did. The company Nurx had quite a few recommendations from companies such as well-known online pharmacies. I did not want to wait 6-9 months to see a dermatologist, so this seemed like a good alternative. The product I wanted was Tretinoin, a Vitamin A product for skin and anti-aging.
I didn't like the process. Normally, you would have a Zoom meeting with a doctor. This is not the case here. I sent a message through their system stating I wanted Tretinoin at a certain concentration. A few hours later, I canceled my order on my correspondence page. I did see (and copy) that I have no order pending. So no problem, in a normal business, correct? I canceled it in time. However, I have had no further messages or correspondence. Any normal business is in touch or has a customer service number where you can speak to someone. Not this one. Something is wrong.
I have made it clear I do not want the product I was initially interested in, and I said so within about 4-5 hours. I didn't get an order confirmation, and I should have. I also should have received a cancellation message or letter.
I see from another complaint that a person who ordered the same thing I did did not get the product as advertised.
I never placed a real order as far as I am concerned, and I asked to cancel it and have heard nothing. I am going to cancel again. I am not happy about this. I have been charged $30 for a doctor's review that I know has not happened.
I signed up with Nurx for acne issues and did an initial consultation
I signed up with Nurx for acne issues and did an initial consultation. They recommended a prescription for an oral birth control, a topical antibiotic, and a topical Tretinoin cream. I received the birth control initially and then they alerted me they had issues getting the Tretinoin cream through my insurance. I had to wait several weeks and I had to keep following up with them to see what they were doing about it. (I'm a nurse and I've worked in both Dr offices and insurance companies so I know how this process works). But I ended up having to pay out of pocket for the Tretinoin cream. Okay, whatever that's fine, I really wanted it for my chronic acne so I paid the $90. Well then I requested them to discontinue the birth control pills as I was not taking them and they kept sending me different generics every time, which I dislike. So I asked them to cancel the birth control, they said they did, but then 2 weeks later I received another (different generic) birth control in the mail. That was shipped on 9/2. I asked them about it and they denied sending me birth control and said they sent the cream (they hadn't). Then another Nurx rep replied to my message again and said he was cancelling the Tretinoin cream. It's like they aren't reading my messages. I only wanted the birth control pills cancelled , not the acne topical cream. There's no way to manually cancel the prescriptions yourself in their website so this is getting ridiculous. I feel like this company needs better management over their prescriptions and messaging services. I'm not sure if I was charged for the birth control I was sent after I'd requested it be cancelled because I can't find it anywhere in their site that tells me what they charged me. I'm so confused here.

Nurx is attempting to refill a prescription for birth control that I have already requested to cancel. They wont respond via app or email and their phone number is disconnected/ not in service. They dont allow me to remove my debit card info from their app and I have received no response, afraid I will be charged on 12/9/22 by them.
I was supposed to receive my birth control on November 13th. They never shipped it so I started contacting them, they finally respond on the 21st and offer to cancel my order and send out a new order. I say okay and it is now December 6th and they have yet to ship anything. Never had any issues with this company prior to this year. Birth control isnt really a medication that can be delayed.
I was charged twice through the app. When I realized their mistake, I messaged through the app stating I had been charged without my consent. I did not receive a response so I decided to send them an email asking how we could remediate this issue. I did not receive a response to the email and so I have messaged them again and followed up on the email. They also sent me double my dosage of medication that I do not need nor did I request. I feel as though I am entitled to a full refund.
I paid $15 to Nurx in June to be prescribed birth control
I paid $15 to Nurx in June to be prescribed birth control. Nurx guarantees this $15 will allow me to speak to a medical professional to get a prescription and even change prescriptions at any time during the course of a year. The doctor I spoke with, ***, prescribed me a birth control, "Slynd" that was not covered by my health insurance. I mentioned this several times, and that I want a prescription that is covered, and I was ignored. In order to get this prescription covered, Nurx would have to complete a non formulary exception form. I had this form faxed to Nurx on July 5th and contacted them to ask them to complete this. Instead of completing this form, Nurx has been trying to coerce me to pay for this prescription out of pocket. They also refuse to issue me a prescription for another form of birth control that would be covered by my insurance without a non formulary exception. At this point, the prescription they have issued me is unusable. I have requested 3 or more times now, over the course of nearly a month, that they either complete a non formulary exception form for the birth control that was prescribed, or issue me a refund for the $15 I paid for the prescription. They have refused to do either of these and instead reply to my messages with automated responses that do not address the problem. I have waited a week or more to receive a reply via their web portal and have sat on hold for 2+ hours and been unable to reach customer service. This company is a scam, and I am not a charity. I want them to complete the non formulary exception form or refund me the $15 I paid for their prescription that I cannot use. I could have gone to any other doctor and been prescribed the same birth control covered by my insurance weeks ago. They are just wasting my time at this point.

I reached out to Nurx for a tretinoin cream prescription based on an ad that I saw. I was charged $30 for a consultation on November 6th, and then when the prescription was filled, I was charged $90 on November 7th. My prescription was mailed out, but I have yet to receive it. When I tracked the package, it shows that it was waiting to be accepted at a location on November 14th, but the tracking number was not provided in the update.
I have reached out to Nurx asking for updates and received one response apologizing for the delayed reply due to a high volume of messages. They assured me that my order had been dispensed and that once I received a shipping notification, it would likely arrive within 3-5 business days. They suggested contacting the courier with my tracking number to possibly hold the package at a local facility for pickup. However, this advice doesn't help because if I had the tracking information, I would have known the package's status. It was already two weeks past the initial shipping date, which was supposed to take 3-5 days.
I have sent follow-up emails asking for a refund and to cancel and remove my information, but I have not received any response.
Outsourced provider based telemedicine companies are a scam. I was in desperate need for emergency contraceptive, where nurx advertised a free pill with insurance OR a lower price than retail standard without. I fill out what they claim is a consultation (which is really just basic questions with no doctors involved) and then I submit my order. I got to pick up my pill at the pharmacy only to be told that they dont provide that prescription and that they contacted nurx. They basically have random people answering your questions with no context and do not communicate with the pharmacy. When I realized I couldnt get the prescription filled they gave me another option to use their in house pharmacy only to tell me THEY DONT TAKE MY INSURANCE AND THE *** IS $50. Aka the SAME PRICE as plan B in stores + the $15 for the sham of a consultation. Its been days now and I have missed my window for the medication and this pseudo healthcare company will not refund me for a consultation. They are interested in taking your money and that is it. I am extremely disgusted by this predatory company and all telehealth companies that claim to make patient care easier. Its a lie. They told me none of this until I gave them money. It is false advertising and I will ONLY take a refund as an apology.
I paid $40 consultation fee and was written a prescription, it was cancelled because of insurance problem, I'm sure my insurances works just fine because I just saw a doctor a couple of days ago and they billed to my insurance. Then I asked them to re-check my insurance but they never did. Nobody's answering any questions or giving me an explanation why insurance didn't work. I wanted a refund of my $40 consultation fee.
I don't know what has been going on with this company in the past month but it doesn't take weeks for a reply. I have used this company the past year and tried to renew my prescription, changing the type of *** i get and changing from getting them 6 packs at a time to 3. What's crazy to me is nurx was more than happy to take the $20 from me for filling out a "questionnaire". Plus, the site says it takes 3-5 days for prescriptions to arrive but I've been literally been waiting for 3 weeks JUST FOR AN APPROVAL. I will no longer be using nurx. You can gladly send my money back and deactivate my account
On 11/30/2022 I realized that I was running out of a prescription that I have via NURX
On 11/30/2022 I realized that I was running out of a prescription that I have via NURX. I had checked with the local pharmacy I used, via their app, and I did not have any refills left. I then contacted NURX with their in-app messaging system and got a response saying that my prescription had already been sent in. They also informed me that I did not need to renew my yearly subscription with them yet and it is still active. I thought there may have been a delay between when they sent in the prescription and my pharmacy information updating, so I called my pharmacy. Still no prescriptions. I messaged them back on 12/04/2022 informing them that I was now experiencing withdrawals, and that (as they know) stopping this certain medication abruptly can potentially be life threatening. I told them that I didnt have a refills, and I needed to have that sent in. After waiting a day for a response, I decided to call and was waiting for someone to pick up for 30 minutes. I had to hang up because I felt sick from withdrawals. I messaged and called NURX again 12/05/2022, and did still did not receive a response within the 48 hour promised response time. This morning (12/06/2022) I called my pharmacy to ask once again, why I didnt have any refills and they said that their records indicated that my medication had been deactivated by my prescriber at NURX. There is no reason my prescription should have been deactivated. I cannot contact NURX to find out why this happened when my subscription is still active, and when they said my prescription had been already sent in. NURX seems to be ok with neglecting and ignoring a patient, and not following through with promised treatment. NURX actions have caused real life consequences pertaining to my physical health and well being. I was directly lied to. That is extremely unacceptable when my own personal health is at stake.

My oral contraceptives are supplied by the online healthcare provider NURX
My oral contraceptives are supplied by the online healthcare provider NURX.On November 19th 2022, a representative messaged to let me know they'd be refilling my prescription. I wrote back the same day to inform them I have new health insurance, sent the policy # and member ID, and asked them not to charge my credit card for the Rx.On the 23rd, a representative messaged asking for additional insurance information. I did not have it, and since Nurx is a healthcare company, reasoned that they have employees capable of obtaining a patient's health insurance information. This is what my local pharmacy and physician's offices have done when I didn't have the requested information. I also asked them again not to charge my credit card for the prescription. I asked them to wait until they were able to charge my insurance. This morning, at the very unwelcome time of 4:27 AM, Nurx messaged to tell me they were readying the refill and had pre-authorized my card for $45 (the out-of-pocket cost of the medication). I messaged back to tell them, again, not to charge my card. I went back to sleep. When I woke up at a normal hour, I tracked down the additional health insurance information Nurx had requested and sent it to them, around 8AM. I also repeated very clearly that they were not to charge my credit card. I sent these instructions in both the message (through their system and via a separate email titled "DO NOT CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD). At 11 AM I received a message informing me they charged my card for the $45 out-of-pocket cost. I was very clear that they did not have permission to charge my credit card and they did anyway. If they needed more time to verify my insurance, that would have been fine. Whatever their delay in running my insurance was about, it is secondary to their violating my repeated, clear instructions that they were not to charge my credit card for the out-of-pocket cost.

On 11/16/22 at 1:33pm I received a message from Nurx that my prescription was getting ready to be filled
On 11/16/22 at 1:33pm I received a message from Nurx that my prescription was getting ready to be filled. Per Nurx's policies, I contacted them within 48 hours of receiving their message, on 11/16/22 at 7pm, requesting to cancel my order. I continued to send messages with no response other than automated responses that my order was shipping and that I was being charged. I attempted to call their customer service phone number several times during business hours, and the call immediately canceled every time.I sent an email saying this, "I have been attempting to message through the web to cancel my order (per your policies I have attempted to cancel within 48 hours of receiving the notification that my refill was being prepared) and have not received a response. I did, however, get a message confirming that I am being charged and that my order has now shipped. I have attempted to call your customer service phone number ***) which does not seem to be a working number. I request that my order be canceled and that my card information be removed from my account so that I can no longer be charged for this medication. I also request that I be refunded, in full, for the $75.00 charge to my credit card for the refill that should have already been canceled."When I finally received a message back from the staff, they said that, "I am sorry to say that your order cannot be canceled at this point. Once your order has been dispensed and shipped from our pharmacy we can not make any changes. We also legally can't accept back any medication once it has left our pharmacy. I am sorry for this inconvenience." While this is all well and good, they have been having staffing issues for the past 4 months and they never updated their policies or changed their website so that I could cancel my order myself. There was no way to removed my card information, cancel my order, or anything of the like directly through their website, only through their messaging system.

Complaint Background:1
Complaint Background:1. Date of submitting my birth-control prescription: Aug 13 2. Date Nurx charged me: Aug 23 3. I wanted to buy birth-control pills and found Nurx was quite convenient because I didn't have to go to the doctor's.4. Nurx assigned me two kinds of birth-control pills: *** (for regular birth control, the one I requested), *** (for emergency birth control, the one I didn't plan to get until I saw Nurx's "free emergency birth control pill" message during the check-out process.I want to seek justice for my consumer rights for:1. Right to Information 2. Right to *** Complaint Brief:1) Unauthorized use of my bank billing information 2) WRONG prescription information for ELLLA (the emergency pills)3) Very disappointed customer service Complaint Main Body:1. On Aug13, I submitted my first ever Nurx REGULAR birth-control pill request online, together with all my personal information (ID, address, phone, insurance details, billing details). In order to get the prescription for my birth-control pill, I need to fill out medical information, on the last step of proceeding my order, NURX asked me to select "Add emergency contraception for $0*?" I was thinking: "ok why not add this for free in case I need it. but I will NEVER add this emergency contraception IF IT IS NOT FREE." On my check-out, when I needed to fill in my billing information, I was informed that I need to pay for the $15 treatment fee. HOWEVER, I wasn't informed that Nurx will use the billing information to charge Co-pay fee or fee that doesn't cover by insurance. 2. The Prescription information for the emergency pill *** is WRONG (the one that I wasn't planning to get until I saw the "Free Emergency Pill" message that I mentioned in point #1). Nurx put *** prescription information under the *** prescription information. The prescription info hasn't been corrected even after I contacted their customer service to request a correct *** prescription a week ago.

This sad tale begins 2 months ago, in June
This sad tale begins 2 months ago, in June. I renewed my birth control *** through Nurx a month before I needed it, and then Nurx never sent the *** to my pharmacy. I begged them to send it on time, as the date came up and I realized that the new *** wasn't even showing up on my account! - I have a hormone issue that means it is *essentialto start my birth control on time, or I have a hormone imbalance that upsets my physical and mental health for the next several months. They did NOT, however, get my *** called in on time. I then had my first ever cold sore outbreak, triggered by my hormone issue that Nurx brought on with their negligence concerning my birth control. In August, I started having another, much more serious, cold sore outbreak - because as soon as I felt it coming on, I messaged Nurx to ask for my *** - they did not even respond to me until 4 excruciating days later. Everyone knows that as soon as you feel a cold sore tingling, you need to start your medication. Not 4-7 days later.Immediately. 4 days later, the only response I got was... a question to confirm that... that was what I wanted? Which no one even responded to for SEVERAL more days. Now I'm at about two weeks in, and my sores that were all over my face have finally cleared up - but the story is not over. I have spent these two weeks begging for my medication, only to have a 'doctor' tell me that cold sores are 'unusual' anywhere but the mouth, which is wildly incorrect! Basically an outright lie. They insisted to me again today, after I had already called in to complain yesterday, that cold sores are 'unusual' anywhere but the mouth, despite how easy it is to research cold sores - it is, after all, the 'herpes simplex infection of the mouth AND FACE'...that's literally the name of the disease! Then they told me that they could no longer send me the medication that treats the thing THEY let get so bad. So I have serious, serious doubts that these are real doctors I'm speaking with.

I was 2 weeks out from running out of birth control
I was 2 weeks out from running out of birth control. I have always used Nurx before with no issues but had been getting birth control from an OBGYN the past year. Since I was traveling during that time, I couldnt make it into an OBGYN so I decided to go through Nurx again. I submitted my birth control request on 6/24 with the promise that a health care provider would reach out within 24 hours. I 6/26 I reached out after not hearing anything. I did not get any response until 6/28 which was an automated response telling me there are delays. I wait till the next day 6/29 and agin on 6/30 and ask for updates. I even included that I had two weeks for them to get it to me but they still need time for shipping. With NO reply at all, I ask again for an update on 7/2. I told them I need this birth control sent to me or I will run out. I gave them an ample amount of time to do this. I still heard nothing. On 7/3 it had been almost 10 days at this point since I put in my 24 hour request and I needed birth control and told them that I am canceling and to refund me my $15 medical consultation fee since obviously nobody consulted me. I got another automatic reply saying there are delays on 7/4. On 7/5 I said that you will be canceling my subscription and request and refunding me the $15 you stole. I got an automatic reply saying my subscription and request are canceled but nothing about a refund, which I never got. They forced me to try and find another company which is hard to find any that take my insurance so I ended up having to pay out of pocket to get birth control since Nurx made me be in a time crunch to get it. Which I still ended up being without it for a few days since I was only given a few days to get it prescribed. This resulted in me having migraines because my birth control helps with those. They are scamming customers right now. Taking their money with no prescription for who knows how long. They need to refund everybody waiting weeks for birth control.

This company is a scam, Ive screenshot all of the proof of false advertisement & illegal services
This company is a scam, Ive screenshot all of the proof of false advertisement & illegal services. They advertise providing prescriptions for emergency contraceptive brands *** AND PLAN B that you can go pick up at your nearest pharmacy AFTER you pay them $15 for their services. This is supposed to be a smooth, fast and immediate process since emergency contraceptive is a very time sensitive pill that you have to take. I have been trying to get what I paid for since 5PM YESTERDAY and I havent been able to get access to it because they do not provide plan b even though they CLEARLY AND BOLDLY advertise on their website that they do which was my purpose for using their service in the first place so for them to tell me that they do not provide prescriptions for plan b AFTER taking my money and making me wait going on 15 hours now to tell me that is literally fraud. They have my debit card information and all of my personal information and I am really scared for this company to have any of my information on file being that theyre a scam company. I even asked to speak to a supervisor and they wouldnt allow me to probably because scam companies dont actually have supervisors. Theyve wasted my time, took my money from me and possibly cost me prevention from stopping a possible pregnancy because of their false advertisement which is not okay. This is literally illegal and they need to be held accountable for this because who knows how many innocent women theyre doing this to and stealing money from. They do not offer the emergency contraceptive that they advertise on their website AT ALL. They tried to say they only can prescribe *** cant even get that because NO pharmacies have it and have never heard of it. I called over a dozen pharmacies and none of them have it. So not only can you not get the plan b they advertise but you cant get the *** either because no pharmacy has it. This is so wrong! Especially on a time sensitive matter you cant play with.

They are supposed to mail monthly prescription refills of migraine medication
They are supposed to mail monthly prescription refills of migraine medication. One is preventative (taken daily), and the other is taken at the onset of a headache. In August, they said the prescription had been mailed to me, but every time I checked the tracking, it wasn't updating. It just kept saying it was "preparing for shipment", but the carrier hadn't received it yet, and the estimated delivery was getting moved back. Eventually, I reached out and asked what was going on, and after three more days had gone by, (at that point I was totally out of the daily medication) they gave me the option to have it re-sent, which would take five more days, or have it sent to a local pharmacy to be picked up. I opted to send it to a local pharmacy for pickup. They claimed they would refund my credit card for the co-pay, but after a few weeks went by, I noticed they never did and had to ask them again to get them to actually reverse the charge. The next month, exactly the same thing happened. It said it had been shipped, but after more than a week went by, it still hadn't been received by the carrier, and I was completely out of the medication. Once again I reached out, and that time they gave me some weird story about how they wouldn't be continuing the relationship with that pharmacy going forward, and would send it to a local pharmacy for me to pick up. At that point, I asked them to just transfer the prescription to CVS for their mail order refills because I didn't have faith in NurX anymore, and they told me they'd transfer the prescription to CVS. Well when I went to pick up that months supply at CVS, they said they couldn't refill it because it wasn't covered by insurance because it was too close to my last refill date (because NurX was claiming that they had already refilled it even though they hadn't), AND they never transferred the refills to the mail pharmacy. I'm still sorting it out and can't even get an answer from them for the last week plus. Total scam.

I put an order in for my birth control (Trisprintec) and paid a $15 consultation fee on May 4th, 2022
I put an order in for my birth control (Trisprintec) and paid a $15 consultation fee on May 4th, 2022. It took five days for provider to get back to me (the 9th). On the 9th they suggested a different birth control for me since I stated I was interested in skipping periods. I replied that same day stating that I wanted to stick with what I was using and let them know I just had received health insurance through my job. They replied the following day (the 10th) telling me to upload the picture of my insurance card. I uploaded the picture that same day and the provider sent me a message stating that I would receive shipping info within the next 2-3 days. I thanked them the next day (the 11th). At this point I was under the impression that they were sending it out so I didnt bother to check up on it. I assumed it would be in my mailbox within the next week or so. Well 9 days had passed and I didnt receive ANY shipping info or any medication. So I went back into the messages and reached out again. I asked if there were any updates on my order since I didnt receive anything. This was on the 19th. A provider replied to that message on the 19th stating that she resubmitted the order and I would get a message with shipping and payment info that SAME day. Three days later I reached out again (on the 22nd) and stated that I didnt receive any info and I need my medication as soon as possible. Nobody had replied so I reached out the next day (the 23rd) and asked when I would receive info. I waited a day and a half and still no response. So on the 25th I said hello? Trying to get a response. Still no response an hour later. So I told them I wanted my $15 refunded and to have them cancel the old order since I now have insurance, and I started a new order in hopes of getting somewhere. That same day someone replied stating that the previous order was active until 2023 but I never received anything. They cancelled both orders and never refunded me. I just want my medication.

I needed to cancel my subscription pending the results of some medical tests, so I postponed my next refill with Nurx until January 9, 2023,
I needed to cancel my subscription pending the results of some medical tests, so I postponed my next refill with Nurx until January 9, 2023, which was the farthest date I could get. I already had 6+ months of refills in my cabinet because they send product so often. I set a reminder so I would remember to cancel it once the test results came back in January. On Dec. 1, 2022, I received a message from Nurx reminding me that my subscription was on hold, and telling me to log in and reorder if I wanted it refilled. I did not, so I ignored this email (though I did not delete it). On Dec. 10 at 12:38 pm, I rec'd a message from Nurx telling me that they were working on refilling my prescription. There was no warning, and it was a lot earlier than expected. I immediately logged into my account, sent Nurx a message at 1:06 pm requesting they stop the order, and set the postpone date as far out as I could, to March 2023. Red text on the site assured me that any changes made at that point would also be applied to my "order in progress." I never heard anything back and cancelled in plenty of time according to their policies. On Dec. 12, I received a text that my order had been processed. I panicked because the charge would overdraw my account, and I already had 5 packs of product. Now I will have eight. I tried contacting the company again via text, their messaging system, and email to no avail. Instead I received another message from Nurx a little later, with a tracking number! I tried contacting the company again, this time over *** as well. (Please note I did not call, as I have a neurological issue that interferes with auditory processing. However, this is an online company that claims to be available 24/7.)The money was pending withdrawal and has now left my account, and I had to borrow money to cover it. But my bank has assured me I can dispute the charge. I intend to do that if the $45 Nurx withdrew without my permission, for a product I no longer need, is not refunded.

I paid $15 for a "consultation" that was %100 online, no human contact
I paid $15 for a "consultation" that was %100 online, no human contact. I would regularly go to my doctor's office to get birth control, but due to Covid-19 I do NOT want to go to ANY medical centers and risk getting sick. They gave me 2 options for birth control and I picked one. Everything was going pretty okay. Then they tell me my insurance will not be accepted when they had advertised birth control would be free with insurance. I now have less than a week to find some for myself, as this process took a week to figure out. Had I known they wouldn't accept my insurance, I wouldn't have ever even gotten into the site. They advertise that birth control is free with insurance, that was the impression I had. My anxiety is through the roof and I have no idea what to do. I asked over 5 questions, more than once, and got answers to none of them. Each time I ask a series of questions, a different "Nurx Agent" would message me back, disregarding everything I had asked or said to any other "Nurx Agents". Clearly they don't care about their consumers. Due to Covid-19, I can't go to work and make money, as my state is in quarantine. I need at least my $15 back so I can afford groceries during this pandemic. I contacted support many times, more than 10, with questions and concerns, about refunds and about birth control, and nothing came of it. I've gotten zero helpful responses, all they ask is how I want to proceed, but how am I supposed to proceed if I still have all the questions I've been asking repeatedly the entire time? They won't communicate properly with me, they can't provide what I need, I paid them money to do so, and even though it was only $15 I really need that money for groceries during this time. I feed myself and 2 other grown men in my household, who also cannot work during quarantine. We are eating tuna helper almost every night because it's the cheapest thing I can think of. And now I won't have any birth control in the next 3 days. I believe my request is extremely reasonable. They should not make the blanket statement, "Free with Insurance", when in fact it is not.
On February 13, I went to the Nurx website to order a new prescription
On February 13, I went to the Nurx website to order a new prescription. I had previously ordered from Nurx, and I didn't remember whether it was before or after my recent move, so the first thing I did was check to make sure that my account showed the correct shipping address. It did, so I proceeded to place my order. At no time during the order process does the website confirm or even show the ship-to address. On February 15, I received an email with a tracking link, letting me know my order had been shipped and that my card had been charged $45. Nowhere in the email did it list the ship-to address, and the USPS site does not show that information, either. Tracking only showed that the prescribed pills were set to arrive on Tuesday, February 18. On February 18, USPS tracking showed that my package had been delivered to my mailbox. When I checked my mailbox, there was no package. That was when I contacted Nurx and learned that my package had been sent to my old address, even though I had changed my shipping address on the website. I asked them to transfer the order to a local pharmacy so that I wouldn't have to wait for it. They did transfer the prescription, but they did not indicate to me at that time that I would have to pay full cash price to pick it up at the pharmacy, despite having already paid for the pills. I contacted Nurx on February 19 after learning that the pharmacy had no way to bill to Nurx and wanted to charge me the cash price. The CSA told me they would sent the information through again and to contact them back to let them know what happened. The pharmacy had received no updated payment information from Nurx, and I let the agent know this. At this time (February 20), I told them that there was no longer any point in rushing and to just reship the pills. They told me they would, and I received an email stating that the order was processing and that I would receive a tracking number when it was shipped. At no point did the agent state that I would be charged again. On February 22, I received an email stating that my replacement pills had been shipped and that my card had been charged $45 a 2nd time. I immediately responded asking for clarification on why I was being charged again asking to be refunded one of the charges. I received the following response: we appreciate you for reaching out to Nurx services today. I hope you are doing well. We want to make sure this is taken care of as quickly as possible. So we have forwarded your concerns to our leadership team for review. Once they have reached back out to us we will reach out to you again with a possible solution On February 24 (Monday), I reached out to the team, again asking about the double charge and requesting a refund. I received the following response: thank you for reaching out to us. We want to make sure this is taken care of as quickly as possible. So we have forwarded your concerns to our leadership team for review. It may take 7-10 days before your funds aware returned to your account. Please feel free to contact us with any other questions or concerns I waited a few days to see if they would process any refund or respond in any way. They did not. yesterday, March 2, I reached out once more to ask about the status of the refund. I received the following response: Thank you for reaching out and I hope you're doing well today. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. I have escalated this to our leadership team for further review. At this time, no member of the leadership team has even attempted to reach out to me, and no refund had been processed. I was double-charged because of a website error that caused my pills to be sent to the wrong address - and through no fault of my own. I want the 2nd charge removed. At this point, I would feel it proper to offer either a full refund of both charges or a discount for future use, simply for the extreme inconvenience. But I will accept only the one refund of $45.
